my dad drank tea at the last min and I though my mom was laughing and I said its not funny and she said u talk to me like that the next u do I'm taking ur **** away u know like my gaming console or whatever and s o that I saw something on my dads boot and said u have something on ur boot he checked nothing I said it again I said I swear I saw something on there and he shut up about it already cause he kind of threw up but u know because he didn't sit there for a while and it was in public to when he said it and my mom didn't do **** I swear sometimes I just want to run away.

My dad called me fat a few times and gripped my sides while he did it He slaps my butt Yells at us Gets angry and breaks things Calls me dumb My mom swears at my sister and I Calls us bitches and other hurtful terms pokes my stomach and says that I'm not going to fit into my cheer uniform Resorts to violence (ex slapping, pulling hair,throwing us on the ground, getting on top of us. Embarsses me in front of people Guilts us into doing things I've self harmed because of this. I cry myself to sleep and constantly apologize for everything. After fat comments I starve myself. I have no clue what it does to my little sister, but I want her to be okay. Please help.

I grew up with a verbally abusive father who always made a big deal out of everything. If we had a medical emergency, he would cuss us out because he didn't want to pay medical bill. If we had friends he would yell at us and tell us never trust anyone. He would cuss us out when we would not do something correctly like serve a drink or drop something. Now my siblings lack ability to build relationships with people. My sister is 40 and has no friends and can't be happy. Do you know what type of father I had?

I met a woman we were both teachers at the same school, although I was a substitute teacher looking to make a career. I ended up dating her for a couple weeks and then due to our living situations we kind of ended up moving in together. Big mistake it turns out she was a complete psycho who pulled a knife on me threatened to kill me and said if I told anybody she would set me up for rape. Let's just say I ended up moving out and when she found out she had someone at the school set me up to get me fired so it wouldn't be traced back to her. I compiled evidence to prove all this, and I talk to a lawyer about suing but whoever sent me up would have to admit they did it on purpose which they won't. I guess all in all I can't believe this woman works with children as a teacher and after I told my story to everybody they can't believe she works with children to. I called the school to get my job back which they're going to give it back to me because they said they would but at the same time I told him why I lost my job and it turned into me reporting her and what kind of person she was I told them I don't think she should be around children personally because she split my head open with a fork and beat me. She also hit her mother twice and now her parents disowned her and she broke her ex's nose... I guess reporting her just kind of came out I couldn't sleep good at night knowing she's working with children.

My boyfriend of almost 3 years has a 5 year old child. His child's mother used to call him every time she just felt like talking and would have him sit on the phone for an hour, sent him provocative pictures on Snapchat with her boobs hanging out, not to mention when him and his son would be in the back yard by the trampoline she would come and purposely bend over the side to show off her rear. His mother and sister are for some reason obsessed with this girl, we live with his parents temporarily while I'm pregnant myself, but his mother has no respect for me not wanting her to come into our home when she picks their son up due to her being a flirtacious leading on female. His mother told me that I should go upstairs in our room with the door closed while she is in the house if it bothers me making me an outsider in my own place of living. My boyfriend doesnt stand up for me or care about simple boundaries. My boyfriend just recently started seeing my opinion of not being flirty back with her and stopped but I feel like I am being completely disrespected, am I being over dramatic or is it time to up and leave this situation as a whole?

Me and my bf are both 22 and have been together for 3.5 years. We're in college and finishing up our programs soon and we want to get engaged in the next 3 or so years and married 1 year after. Just so we can sort out our careers and get a place to live . I know its a while away but i talked to my mom about it and her answer was very absured and I'm speechless about it because I've never heard my mom say these kinds of things from her before. I'm from an Indian muslim back round and my bf is a Caucasian male and a Muslim convert. My mother basically said she want me to marry my cousin. I dont want to cause thats kinda gross. She doesnt understand when I told her that it'll be very awkward to have an intimate relationship with my own damn cousin. I can't bring myself to think about trying to start a family with my cousin without feeling sick. My mom thinks it's normal but it's nasty. She doesnt approve of my bf because he's not my cousin and she thinks he'll run away from the marriage after a couple years. When driving my dad is unlike anyone else in the family. He always drives the speed limit. In fact we are all on a road trip right now and he acts like he is sleeping until he flexes his fingers or tips his head to say somthing to piss me off about going fast. If someone runs a stop sign and its pretty obvious they are going to hit us, his argument is "they have to stop ITS THE LAW!" He has ver iratinal thinking comparable to crazy religious people. In his head its perfctly logical but to everyone else he is very stubborn and stupid to think the way he does and consider himself a better "safer" driver. We live in texas We live in texas so the fast lane is somewhere where you will get run the **** over if you arent going 80+ he stays in the fast lane at 65 in a 70 and wonders why people cut him off and brake check him. Why does my dad seem to have no logical concept of driving?

My mom's not a bad person or anything. She just has the emotions of a bratty teen girl, and it makes my blood boil. She's constantly badmouthing EVERYONE. The other moms she hates, her current boyfriend, her mom, her friends, her coworkers, my friends, my brothers, and me. She constantly gossips and complains about people behind their backs. She acts like everyone is out to get her. She seems to think that anytime someone does something that slightly ticks her off, that means they hate her and she makes a big dramatic scene about it. She refuses to accept the fact that other people have problems. When she learned that one of her friends was taking antidepressants, she rolled her eyes and said that her friend was 'looking for attention' and 'didn't know what real pain felt like'. When she learned that one of my friends was a self-harmer, she mocked her. She seems to think she's the only one who has problems. She fights dirty. She uses low blows when yelling at my brothers or me because she knows it makes us more upset. She makes it seem like everyone is to blame for her problems. If she messes something up it's because other people are 'too needy'. When I make a small mistake, like forgetting to wash the dishes, she acts like I just stabbed her in the back. She can be insanely hurtful. I haven't said anything to her about it, I become extremely timid around her. Any advice? And is me not challenging her authority just enabling her to act bratty and bossy? Or not? Rebbecaaaaaaaaaaaa. I am a bratty, angsty, edgy 15-year-old. My mom's 46. She should've matured by now. For example she called my cousin's wife fat and ugly when they had a dispute on a real estate thing. Now my cousin (her nephew) says he will never speak to her again for the time being if ever. The wife just said the woman, who she only met once, is a wack job. The woman's own son won't talk to her as she belittled him for years. So how do I react if this aunt starts in on me one day? I am not close to her but do see her from time to time. Her two daughters are loyal to her and thus don't have a relationship with us anymore.

Okay, so a couple days ago, my little sister told me that my cousin had stolen my portable charger from me. I wasn't that surprised because she'd stolen a lot from me before. So, since my little sister was going to my aunts place today, I told her to text me when she found my charger, and my washi tape, and whatever else she stole. This was so my cousin didn't know that we were onto her, because if she did, then she would hide everything and it'd be harder to get back. Now, my cousin's texted me saying that she was the one texting me from my sisters iPad. She said, "I texted you from _____'s iPad. Hahhhhaaaahhahahahahaa." Now, I want to get my stuff back, but I don't know how to tell her to give it back to me. I always feel that people avoid me, and I don't get invited to places. I don't drink alcohol, I don't smoke, I don't do drugs. People know this, and they think I'm boring. I flew home for the holidays. I had Christmas and New Year's dinner with my family. I had a great time with my parent, brothers, uncles. It wasn't until right now that I realized why I had a great time. No one in my family drinks or smokes either. We talked about the food which was delicious, no one had to go out to smoke. so as some may know, i want to move back in with my mom because i live with my dad. i moved in when i was twelve because he made it seem way better than it actually is, and he was a different person. i'm not just some bratty teen wanting to leave home because i'm not getting my way, it's just he person he is. he treated my mom the same exact way, resulting in their divorce. anyways- we can't go back to court. (we can, my mom and i just don't want to- possibility of losing to my dad because of his connections) with that knowledge, what do i do? no matter what i do, he won't let me. i've tried talking to him maturely, i've tried asking, i even started treating him badly because he and his wife do it to me. I will start by saying that neither of my parents should have ever had children. I'm here because my mother wanted to insure that she wouldnt have to work and could receive child support to use for drugs. She was a drug addict and my father was an alcoholic. My parents used to dump ice water on my when I was a baby to stop me from crying and I remember being locked in a closet in the basement to sleep in a laundry basket. I almost died at the hospital from a high fever as a result of being so cold from the ice water and sleeping in wet clothes. My parents divorced. I was then forced to have sex with my mothers boyfriend from the age of 8-18 in exchange for drugs and free rent. I was given high doses of narcotics/sedatives daily in a milkshake that I was forced to drink every night and then was raped nightly for 10 years. One of my siblings has already died from an overdose, from drugs provided by our own mother. I am in my late 20s now and broke up with my bf and was unable to afford an apartment on my own just yet. So I asked my dad if I could stay with him. He has always treated me like a piece of garbage and tells me in regards to the sexual abuse "get over it, you dont deserve anything you are here to work, keep a low profile and not stand out, life isnt about happiness" I told myself Id leave her if he gets abusive. I just returned home with a flat tire and instead of asking if I was okay, he said "this is your own fault, you did this, how stupid can you be!"

He always tries to compete with me and make himself seem better by pushing me down and insulting things I care about. I've tried to communicate with him and all he does is tell me to shut up and that I'm annoying. He's lied so much that my parents believe all I do is the same stuff he does, when its honestly not the case. I tried to ignore him and when I didnt give him a reaction he threatened to commit suicide, and wrapped a belt around his neck and smiled at me. Then he told his friends that I actually caught him trying to commit. suicide and that he's been struggling with it. Other times I've tried to ignore him he threaten to tell my parents he caught me sleeping with my boyfriend, even though we have never done anything like that. I told my parents about the suicide thing and my brother said "oh we were joking around about suicide and she freaked out" and the when I told my parents about the one with my boyfriend he said "that was a really long time ago and she knew I wasnt serious." My parents brushed all of this stuff off because of what he said and because it's "in the past". My parents legitimately believe he's suicidal because anytime he gets in trouble at school he says he wants to kill himself and that he's bullied so my parents don't punish him. My sister even says he's a jerk to a lot of kids at school. I am not saying that I am perfect in anyway, I am not nice to him all of the time, but I am at a loss of what to do.

My brother is 10 and im 16. I knowthis sounds ridiculous. My brother gets almost anything he wants and I barely get anything. Ever since I was 6 I took a back seat in my parents lives and I was blamed for all of my brother's bad behaviour. I had an Xbox and I never played it because he wouldn't let me so my dad told him it was his and 2 years ago he got a PlayStation and a phone. I get small amounts of money from my parents and end up having to give it back to them, my brother gets more money from then but the never has to give it back. I just wanted $88 to get clothes and my dad said he can't but my brother gets way more than that for games and whatever else he likes Even when I was younger they didn't give me much but always made sure he had.

9 years ago when I missed a year of work due to an injury, I had to borrow money from my parents to be able to keep my house. My parents and I had a plan of how to repay. I made the mistake of telling my best friend who asked how I was keeping my house. Ever since she has brought it up repeatedly every time we see each other even in our texts she frequently reminds me that I get financial assistance from my parents. I may get checks from them sometimes but I work full time, live frugally and live within my budget. I can't live on what they give me it's just a thoughtful assistance. But my friend is obviously jealous of this and she really makes me feel bad about it. Kind of useless in fact. The last time is right before New Year I decided not to try to get any hours in my second job over my 2 week Christmas break since I had a terribly stressful November. And she sent me a text saying how she doesn't get any assistance from her family and works 60 plus hours per week to made ends meet and she would do all that I do for my elderly parents but hers would never pay her so she needs to keep working ........ Then she blew off our New Years Eve plans. How would you suggest I work with her jealously? FYI I've helped her financially in small amounts. She quit talking to her teen daughter 15 years ago and though she has tried to start a relationship with her again her daughter and grandkids want nothing to do with her. I mean heck, I have 2 friends I've known my whole life and their husbands are so rich they don't work but go to tennis lessons a few times a week to get out of the way of the maid. I would never hold that against them. I just love them for who they are. Why can't my friend just do that with me? Why is this even an issue?

Hello everybody! I have this problem: I really can't get along with my boyfriend family and if we were with the idea of merry now we are not anymore. This really hurts me! At the beginning everything was fine, I preannounce you that they are JEWISH and I'm CATHOLIC, but this never really mattered for my boyfriend who never asked me to convert and always agree with me that our family will be "with no religious" ; but the main problem between me and him is basically that I seriously hate his family and his family hate me. As said, at the beginning everything was fine, they were nice to me and I was to them..but as time passed, they started become rude to me: not saying hi as I entered their house, very judgy and sarcastic, in a few words, they made me think they didn't really like me much. As they did the last drop, I decided to unfriend from Facebook two of the member of his family. I didn't consult with my boyfriend about that, and it was wrong, but I honestly wanted to separate these two people from my life, because full of spite in my regards. The result? they started hating me even more. Now even my boyfriend doesn't want to merry me anymore. He started blaming me for everything and life became a hell with him. I tried to text these two to ask them to clarify what happened so we can talk and eventually fix all the problems we had during the whole time, but they didn't answer me back, they instead called my boyfriend saying if I was stupid or not to try to text them, because they would've never answer me anyways. I feel blamed from my boyfriend and sad now because I have done what I could, obtaining the opposite results. All my friends tell me to leave him, saying that he should be the KEY between me and them, so should make this work. But I don't know what to do!

I am OCD so I rate and judge important occasions like Christmas. My Dad is an alcoholic unfortunately but I would feel bad not seeing him. 5AM to 1PM were great. 1PM to 6PM were bad. The rest of the evening good except when I got home for 2 hours and felt depressed. So I counted 11 good hours and 6 bad hours. So since the majority was good did I have a good Christmas or is it wrecked? My OCD keeps telling me it is wrecked despite almost 2/3 being good. OCD is Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. I am 15 by the way, and Christmas Eve was also good.

Question: My aunt believes in learning disabilities (her son has them) but not emotional disabilities (her daughter has them). How do I teach her?

How do I teach her so she can be compassionate on her daughter who has emotional disabilities (anxiety and depression) and not a bully to her for it? My Dad was a little like this but he still spent time with me, my aunt won't even do that much for the daughter. She has one son who is very learning disabled and autistic who she loves and two daughters. One she loves and spoils and the other she does not love and tries to get the family to see bad in her because the daughter has personality effects of the anxiety and depression and feeling rejected by her Dad (my aunt's 1st husband) who abandoned her. My little brother is five years old. I love him very much so he sleeps with me in my room but last week, he was forced to sleep in my parents room (he doesn't have his own room yet) but couldn't sleep because of restlessness so he snuck out of the room and the came to my room while the hallway was dark so I took advantage and just whispered Boo in his ear as a prank. But he screamed in fright and ended up wetting himself. So its been a week he's been avoiding me despite assuring him that we all have embarrassing accidents in life but its no use and its actually making the situation bad. He doesn't tell me happy birthday or merry Christmas and pretty sure he doesn't get me anything for Christmas and only my mom does. My mom won't let me move back in because he won't allow it and even tho I grew up in that house and him and her didn't get together till I was 15 and that's when he moved in , she allows him to not let me move back. It is my fault in ways I admit, I have went back to a toxic relationship over & over for a few years and it started when I was 16. Now that I'm 19 I regret everything and wish I would've listened but the grudge is still held against me. Sucks I don't have a home to go to now. I have friends who's parents would never not allow them to come home and their circumstances are much worse.. but not the point. My dad like hates me now. Lol. Idk what the point of this post was. I hate living here in this house. All the years in 2017 last year, my mom and Grandma hated each other so I felt much better but now my neighbor talked to Grandma and she changed into a kind person to my mom. So recently I was put in a scenario where I had to choose between my mom (my dad was sleeping) and my brother. So a couple moments later, my mom goes and unplugs the wifi. I tried to stop her (I understand how important the game is because I play it myself) but she pushed me away. Soon enough there was no wifi. My brother told me to plug it back in. My mom said to not. So I had to choose between them. My mom always freaks out when we're up late and keeps telling us to sleep (this happens a lot). My brother is off from college and flew back home. He has no work to do or anything so he can just relax and do anything, but my mom still wants him to study and sleep. I understand that she wants him to be the best, but personally, I think she should let him be since he is an adult now. Yet, I was there not sure what to do because I don't want to disobey my mom, but I understand what my brother deserves (he is a hard worker and is very smart who currently goes to UCLA). I ultimately ended up choosing my brother and quickly running to get the wifi back. Who's side would you choose?

I'm 16. The gals in my family (both sides) are small breasted women. I, however, am not. I've been a DDD since 8th grade. I struggle physically, & emotionally. For years, the women in my family have made comments about how big they are and they always say "I bet you attract a lot of attention from boys, don't you?" My mom, grandma, aunts, cousins, they makes jokes about it like "Can you even SEE your own feet?" I wore sweatshirts throughout middle school and baggy shirts to avoid receiving any attention from them. It makes uncomfortable and when I've asked them to stop they tell me I'm too sensitive. I want to feel positive about my body, not negatively

I met her in the hospital, it had been the second time I'd been there for attempted suicide. She was beautiful in an obvious sort of way. We never left each other's side. Always touching each other whenever the nurses or phyc techs weren't looking. Always so close to each other's faces. She would constantly tell me how beautiful I was and how she wanted us to move to LA together. And I would do the same promising her we'll travel the world and make a YouTube channel together. And for the first time I'm my 17 years everything was perfect. I found the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. She told me that her mom didn't want her anymore and gave her to DSS, she told me they'd take her away. So I told her I'd write her a letter and she told me she'd write me one to. In that letter I told her how I felt about her and about how perfect she was and put my contact info in there too. I couldn't sleep that night I finished it, I was so anxious to give it to her. But finally I did sleep. And when I woke to say good morning to the girl I thought I'd spend the rest of my life with, she was gone. They said they took her in the middle of the night, while I was sleep. I cried the whole day and left the next. I tried everything I could to find her. But nothing. There's so much more that happened so much more I wish I could tell the ones reading this about. Even though this is only a little bit of what happened I still would like to ask for some advice? I cry about it every night

Because he has emotionally abused me. Like telling me I am stupid,to shut up a lot. He yells at me because I have trouble understanding things because of my Aspergers. He left last Friday to go to his friends house for New Years instead of spending it with his family. Because of football. He didn't look at xmas lights with me,didn't have thanksgiving dinner and xmas dinner with his family. Instead he stayed home and watched football. Also he is going to watch the superbowl. He drives to his friend's house from idaho to oregon. I text him on how I felt and he said that he does a lot of me. Which is a big lie. He spends more time with his friend's way more than me. He is also really bossy even though I'm 24 and help pay the bills. My dad will never change because his sister tried getting him help but he refuses. I feel so much happier that he is gone and not here so he is not yelling at me. It's just been me and my mom. He comes home tomorrow. He says me things to me and my mom too. Like calls her a idiot and yells at her because she has trouble hearing. He stresses me out when he is here at home. I tell him but he denies that he does anything wrong. He also told his stepson merry xmas 2 or 3 times that day which he is also my half brother. I had to ask him to tell me happy xmas and he said it once and that was it that was because i had to tell him.

i live with my grandmother and she is very short-tempered. when i was younger, she gave me lots of attention. i was pretty much the favorite. i did well in school, unlike my brother, and behaved well. all of that changed. so we have been having this toilet in our house overflow randomly and in the middle of the night. well, im just laying in my bed (my room is the closest to said bathroom), and i hear water splashing. so i get up and run and i call for my brother. he said he couldnt turn the valve off (to turn off the water)so he goes get my grandmother who comes in screaming at me and telling me i cant do anything right and im a ***** and that she hates me. she basically called me everything that you can think of. i have been crying for the past hour and cant stop because she proved to me that she hates me and does not love me. and please dont say 'talk to her' because she will only yell at me and it will happen all over again

When my brother/sister/cousins ask me for anything I try my best to help because they re family and I m suppose to be there for them. But whenever I ask for anything, need help, etc.--it s a hastle. Someone is kissing their teeth, or telling me no, or saying how they don t want me to do this or that and I don t get it. Should I just stop doing anything for them?

We did this just as a joke it really was olive oil 5 mins later we posted that it was that olive oil on my story. But somebody had already screenshotted the original post! We asked and she left us on open. All u can see it the photo is a top of s bottle and we stated it was not alcoHol it was oil. Do u think we'll be in. Trouble. (Emotional for personal reason )- I was lying in bed and she was on the couch with my step-father. I was using my phone and was kinda serious. She assumed I fought with somebody because I was serious. She was watching television with him and randomly said "I love you." To me and I said "I love you too." Then, she and her husband wanted to go to bed to watch a show there instead of on the couch. The couch is directly in front of my room, so whenever she's watching television there I feel as if I'm not alone and have company. I asked her to stay because I didn't wanna be alone, and she said her back hurt on the couch. After a few minutes of trying , she left to the bed and I told her to "grow a spine." I prepared myself a sandwich in the kitchen and tried to explain to her why I wanted her to stay at the living room on the couch, and she kinda ignored me. I slammed the drawers where you find the plates and she began getting pissed off. After, without saying goodnight to me she turned off the lights and closed her room door. I yelled from my room "thank you for saying goodnight!", and my step-dad said she was in the restroom. I responded angrily "well tell her not to be a ***** and say goodnight" and slammed my room door. I know, the only ***** here is ME. But what should I do? What do I say to her? I KNOW for a fact tomorrow morning she's gonna give me attitude and perhaps a speech.

Question: I have a difficult relationship with my parents that others have described as abusive. But I don’t want to confront that. Advice?

I never thought of my childhood as especially unusual but it has caused me a lot of pain. My parents have selective hair-trigger tempers- if I say or do something wrong, however minor, it makes them furious. The same does not apply to my little sister, or anyone else. Most of the anger comes from my mom- she quickly turns irrational and hateful. Once she woke me up at 11 pm and ordered me to clean the bathroom- when I objected she told me I was a spoiled brat and screamed to get out of her house (which I did- i biked through a thunderstorm and hid for the whole next day). If you were 5 and didn't want to drink your milk, she would leave the milk out and make you drink it once it was rotten. She got angry while driving me to work when I was fifteen and dumped me by the side of the road out in the country. When I made my dad worry she told me that he could have a heart attack because of me and I would be responsible for his death. And so on, and so forth. I wouldn't often fight back simply because I didn't have the strength to fight a battle 24/7. Once I got to college my girlfriend was shocked at the things I told her and the things she witnessed. She kinda hates my parents now and is frustrated with me because I don't often get mad at them, I just feel miserable. She thinks I should cut ties with them as soon as I can afford to. But that would mean my parents would forever be out there, angry at me for one last transgression. I don't want that. Im tired of anger. Any advice?

To tell you a little background, my dad doesn't live with me (my mom, my sister and I live together) and he sends money for the house bills and whatnot since my parents are separated and for a while Ive hated and resented him because I thought he was a deadbeat dad and he didn't love me, although he would call me about 3 times a month to check on me I still resented him and was cold towards him when we spoke. But recently he texted me and I realize he really loves and cares for me and I feel hurt. I've resented him for so long for something he didn't even do! Should I talk to him? Also I'm 15 btw.

I am 17 and I live in California. My mom kicked me out May 30, 2017 because she could not handle my mental health issues. I was then put to live with my grandma who has been completely taking care of me since then. My mom knows all of this. My mom wanted to start the process of handing over custody as soon as the holidays were over but asked us to not bother her. My aunt had wanted me to visit for the holidays so my grandma agreed to let me go for two weeks. My mom found out and got mad and said she would have my grandma arrested. Could this happen because my mom no longer wanted me to be in her life ? Or is this just an empty threat to scare us? I just wanna know what could possibly be happening.

I'm about to start the second semester of my freshman year and I've been playing the saxophone for about four years now. I've been in band all that time but it really doesn't seem that fun to me anymore. Playing isn't as fun as it was when I was starting, especially since we moved to a district that didn't have as good a music program as my old school did. My parents always say that I have a real talent in music and that I should keep doing it, but if I'm not enjoying or getting anything out of it, it's really hard for me to put any commitment into band. I also want to focus on other things like school, art, and writing. Sure going to games and marching is fun, and my band friends also want me to stay, but I've been going through some really rough times dealing with stress and anxiety, and I just don't know if I can do this anymore. My parents and I made a deal that I'd do one year and decide if I wanted to continue, but now I'm telling them I'm probably not going to do it anymore and they get mad at me. They tell me I need to have more commitment (like four years isn't enough for them) and that I need to move out of my comfort zone and suck it up. On top of that, they're also trying to passive-aggressively force me to audition for jazz band and the sax ensemble, but I just don't think I can deal with doing this anymore. It's not something I want to invest in anymore, but I don't know how I can get them to see that. (Sorry this is so ludicrously long)

I've been raising my boys ( now14&15) on my own since they were 4&5 their dad is uninvolved, the boys are defiant and controlling it's been ongoing for years despite therapy and school meetings... last year for the first time in nine years since my divorce I dated someone and moved too fast moving in with him I thought but would be good fir the boys to have a male role model ... wrong! He turned into a controlling weirdo who hated the kids. We moved out after three months. The boys saw that we shared a room and they hated him they were uprooted etc ... it was difficult to say the least for them. It's been over a year since that and they still mock him in front of me and call me "pig" ! I've apologized I've dgine above and beyond to make up for the lapse of judgment on my behalf but they are relentless! Hey started smoking pot I feel so ashamed and guilty I was totally out of character doing that but I reached a stress threshold and cracked. How can I get them back?

So my dad work in another country, and come home about every months and stay for about two months. So I see him about 5 months a year. My mom have told me she hated my dad s family and say they are all selfish people and she regret marrying him. Since I don t see dad often, I am very close to and support mom. Whenever my dad come s home, they get into big fights about every day. Over small things and then they start talking about how hard their life is and how they are suffering and basically compete over who have the worst and hardest life and then start fighting and bring back all kinds of distant memories. Mom don t work but takes care of me and my 2 yr brother in a foreign country. What do I do, sometimes I wish they would just divorce, and each finds a better life for themselves.I m 13 by the way.

I'm the youngest of 4 daughters born to a British American family. I'm 18 years old and I have 3 older sisters, two of which who are twins, and one who is a mother. The oldest and first-born daughter, who is the mother, is 29 years old and a very proud mommy of triplet boys. When she wasn't at work or at home with her baby boys, she would come over to my house, hug me, stroke my chin constantly and kiss me. She loved stroking and tickling my chin for some reason...... I honestly felt very shy when she did that. Maybe I wasn't used to that kind of physical contact, but I couldn't help but feel shy when she did that. Why does she do that? What does she want? Wanting no further involvement with her, I decided to cut all contacts with her completely. I wouldn't see or hear from my sister for 9 months until she finally visited my house and asked me why I refused to have anything to do with her. I then told her that I didn't want a relationship with her anymore and that I want to remain estranged from her. She then decided to accept my decision and said with a hint of sadness in her voice, "Okay. If that's what you want.....I'll respect that." And before leaving the house, I could hear her breaking down in tears, crying uncontrollably, as if somebody died. What was she crying for? What's her issue?

My birthday is the day before Christmas Eve. We went to his relatives to celebrate on Christmas Eve. His grandma's birthday is the beginning of December. His mother never said happy birthday to me, never showed up to brunch or dinner on my birthday. Then when we arrive on Christmas Eve, she tells my brother in law to play on the guitar while everyone sings happy birthday to the grandma. (How hard was it to include me?). She does a lot of hurtful things too. Like step on my wedding dress twice on my wedding day.

I cut her off completely and went as far as getting a restraining order because she always sides with her husband who once tried to kill me a few years ago (he only got a few months of jail) but he's usually normal. I know it hurts her when I don't speak to her and when I tell her how wrong she is. I don't want to hurt my mom because I know she loves him but I'm sick of being "at fault", am I being too cruel to her? (I'm 17)
