Question: Sister in law is making me feel unwanted at thier house? Posted: 05 Jul 2017 12:07 AM PDT Hey everyone!! So, I am having this problem and hope that some of y'all would be able to help me.. Well I am from an arabic country.. and i am engaged to this guy and his parents visit us at our house and met my parents.. and then he was supposed to travel , but it took him 6 months now.. Well his sister is treating me poorly..She was to get engaged and i helped her pick the dress and stuff, but the surprise was ((I WAS NOT INVITED TO THE ENGAGEMENT PARTY))..and then while I was at their house she left me and entered her room with her sister in law and her mother in law and left me alone in the guest room...and after that she ruined my fiance's birthday party..... when I complained about not inviting me to her engagement party, her mother told me (your mother said we dont want anybody to know about yall relationship and engagement)) which is a lie :) well what am i supposed to do??? my fiance is on my side but i cant tolerate her stupid action,.... plus she is the only girl in a house full of boys.. help please |
Question: Should I attend this ceremony? Posted: 05 Jul 2017 12:06 AM PDT We are in our late 30s / early 40s. A guy who I consider one of my better friends just had his 2nd marriage a month ago, and now they are doing a celebration party in a few weeks. He invited me and about 30 other people to the party. It's going to cost me $900 for flight / rental car / hotel. I can afford it but that seems so steep for a 3 hour thing. What bugs me too is I was just out there and the marriage was the day after I left. I barely even spend this much to visit family or go on vacation. ughgh |
Question: Tips for being a maid of honor? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 07:43 PM PDT I'm only 19 and i've never been a maid of honor before (or even a regular bridesmaid actually) but i'm amount to be one twice in the next year, because both my sister and my best friend are getting married, and they asked me to do the honors. does anyone have helpful tips on how to be a great maid of honor? i want to go above and beyond for both of them! also, should i throw a shower, and am i in charge of organizing the bachelorette party? my sister is getting married to another woman if that makes any difference, because i'm not sure if she will want a bachelorette party necessarily and a lot of the others in her bridal party are men. PS i read a lot of yahoo answers and the weddings section particularly seems to attract a lot of salty responses. i already mentioned I'm 19 so there's really no need to be condescending- i'm already aware that i'm a dumb teenager who doesn't know anything also and my best friend getting married is several years older than me so no need to comment on that either thank you in advance! |
Question: I'm in need of desperate help!!!? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 06:55 PM PDT It's kind of an embarrassing question but I cant control it and I'm sure I'm not alone. So I'm a nervous person and my hands are sweaty most of the time, even when I'm not nervous. I'm getting married in one month and I would REALLY appreciate it if someone could give me remedies to help me stop this problem (At least on my wedding day). I dread the moment when my fiancée and I have to hold hands at the courthouse and my hands are sweaty. |

Question: August wedding in Northern Virginia? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 10:55 AM PDT I don't know if I should have my wedding in late may or mid august. If I have it in August, more people will be able to come, but I think it may be too hot because we are having it outside at a cabin campground. It is heavily wooded so the sun wouldn't be beating down on us, but it does get pretty humid in Virginia and that can make things miserable. I know late May is probably the way to go, but my colors go better with August and more people will be able to come. What should I do??!! people who live in Virginia and understand the weather here please answer! |
