Question: My son is 28 and has never had a girlfriend and isn't trying to look for one? Posted: 29 Jul 2017 02:21 PM PDT Need help from someone who has experienced this kind of situation and may have some good advice. It just doesn't seem right to me. I went snooping one time thru his phone and he does watch heterosexual porn. So what could be wrong? How would I approach him even about this? I am very concerned for his mental state of mind. Please some kind advice. |

Question: Are all parents so cheap when it comes to babysitting? Posted: 29 Jul 2017 10:55 AM PDT I was looking for a new job and found a listing where parents wanted a babysitter for 10$ and hour to watch five kids, two of whom are toddlers. That s two dollars per kid. The level of experience they wanted was more suited for a professional nanny. All the nannys I know charge at least 15$ an hour plus 5$ for every extra child. Some also charge more for toddlers. The minimum price these people would be looking at is 35$ an hour for their kids if they hired someone with all the requirements they want. The only people who will apply for them are either desperate or don t know they re being ripped off. I know parenting isn t easy, but if your kid is that special to you, shouldn t you want the best for them even in a babysitter? Also, before anyone rips my head off for suggesting that OMG BABBYSITTTERS ARE SO GREEDY XDXDXD these people basically want a live in nanny. |
Question: How to be more socially spontaneous? Posted: 29 Jul 2017 09:56 AM PDT I have this habit of not being able to have a longer conversation if I m not "warmed up". For example: I go and bring something to my friend and talk to him for a few minutes, then I go outside and meet my neighbour and have a normal, frindly conversation with him for a few minutes. Everything OK so far. However if I randomly meet my neighbour after I ve been alone for a few hours, the conversation feels awkward and it feels like its not me talking to him. Anything I can do against this? I do know how to have a good conversation, thats not the problem. |
Posted: 29 Jul 2017 03:54 AM PDT My daughter didn't graduate high school, in part due to failing a semester of classes due to surgery. She talked back some, in part because I encourage thinking for yourself and would explain why I made rules. She moved out at 18, which I talked about waiting being better but her decision. She has flourished. Pays her bills, never borrowed $, no debt, cooks mostly healthy meals from scratch, exercises. budgets well, shops wisely, respectful, kind, compassionate, plans for future schooling, good relationship with boyfriend. I see this as because I taught independence, responsibility, budgeting, good character, etc. Someone heavily implied she is doing better now that she's on her own because I'm a bad mom. |
Question: Teacher knows about eating disorder.. what now? Posted: 29 Jul 2017 02:09 AM PDT I need help on wether to try to fix a relationship broken by anorexia I was in 8th grade at the time and I was on a trip with scholol and and a teacher noticed that I wasn't eating a ton and that I always make negative remarks on my look While I was waiting in the air port to fly back home I noticed that She was sitting alone I decide to go and sit next to her We end up talking and such and then we get on the topic of food and she then expresses her concerns towards my relationship with it and then shares that she was anorexic and had to be admitted into a facility One year ahead I'm a freshman visiting her and she asks me how I really am and I totally go off and pretty much tell her everything stupid move on my part but i just wanted to confide in her because she also had the same struggles Well any way the next day she tells the councilor at my old middle school and then they call my parents and tell them everything I am beyond pissed and never wanting to visit again But 3 months later I go back with a friend and see her I say nothing to her and as we were leaving she pulled my friend aside and asked if I was mad at her and if she knew why Of course my friend didn't know so she left it at that. I really like this teacher and want to apologize for how I acted or is this be a bad idea? Should I lie to her and tell her that I'm better or mention that I'm in therapy so that she isn't worried? Do you think she still thinks about me and would even care to see me again? |
Question: No one in my family belives me ever? Posted: 29 Jul 2017 12:20 AM PDT They keep saying I keep lying and that they can not trust me. When I am not. I tell them I am not they say that is a lie. They keep saying "Even if you are telling the trust it is hard to belive you because how much you lie." Again I have not lied in a long time. Such as I am a furry. I have a crappy youtube channel. I am to outgoing. |
Question: Married guy at work is always sexually joking with me? Posted: 28 Jul 2017 10:24 PM PDT He is either sexually joking around or he touches me, anything from hugs to putting his hands on my lower back when he is sitting and I walk up to him. He is married but doesn't seem to be happily married, he says often times in marriages, sex goes out the window. I'm just not sure why he is still married to her if there is no sex or he is unhappy ? Why hit on other people if he is married ? I can't be for sure if he flirts with other women at our office, but he is definitely friendly with me. Also, am I blowing this out of proportion and he is just this way ( extroverted/ flirty type) and he means nothing by this ? I mean, he doesn't take things further by asking for my number or if we could meet up or anything. So am not sure if this is just who he is and he isn't aware that this could be misinterpreted as him wanting to cheat on his wife. He just gets really crude with the things he says at times, but I don't know how much of that is just " a guy being a guy" |
Question: I am really worried about my future (which could be a dull and boring life)? Posted: 28 Jul 2017 09:22 PM PDT I am a 16 year old female. Im introverted, a little socially awkward, self conscious, and asexual. Im also good in school, I have good grades, I like to learn, and I'm fairly smart (I know everyone on this site says that, but I'm being legit here). I have quite a few hobbies, but I wouldn't want to do any of them as a career. I have 4 close friends, and very few other friends. So here's my big problem: I can't find something I would enjoy doing as my career, so work wouldn't be something to look forward to I the future. So maybe I could look forward to coming home to someone who loves me. But, how will I ever find someone who would want a quiet, asexual girl who doesn't want kids? It takes me a while to warm up to people, so even if i did get a date, I don't think they would want a 2nd, since I can get so socially awkward.(I'm not pretty, so that doesn't help.) Okay, so I don't have a fun job, and I can't find a significant other. So I can look forward to my hobbies! I feel like I would get lonely playing music and creating art and such, with no human presence around. So maybe I could hang out with friends. I might make a few friends in college, but they would be too busy with their own lives to hang out with me, the socially awkward friend who can't even get a boyfriend. So I could possibly end up with a dull life: no enjoyable job, no significant other, no friends to hang out with to keep me company. It would be me, my cats, and my cockatiel. So what's the point of life? |
Question: Really Bad Sister drama! Please Help! I Really Need Your Help!? Posted: 28 Jul 2017 08:58 PM PDT First of all my sis is a spoiled brat! She LITERLY gets everything she wants! Since we live with our grandma she always tired. I've been asking for her to throw me a birthday party for years. But she doesn't care she tells my little sis right in front of my face she's having the birthday party! I acted like I wasn't crying but I was. When I got home I went to my room and started crying. But I shouldn't have been surprised. Everyone thinks she's the special one:( Sometimes I wish I was her. She lies about me all the time and puts fake blood on her self, and now I'm grounded for 3 months for things I didn't do. She's 18 months younger than me and gets to go to the store and get anything she wants. My grandma always says I'll get to pick something out next time but I never do. she throws one tantrum and gets presents. after my sis lied about me she got to pick my punishment and said she wanted something from my room.....she got my bed! And now I have to seep on the floor for her big lie. And now she gets to have my birthday this year! Should I do revenge? If I should please give me really, really good revenge ideas. |
Question: Is it dumb that I'm giving up partying and drinking at the age of 22...?!? Posted: 28 Jul 2017 08:52 PM PDT So for the past like 4 weeks ? I've literally have no desire to drink or party anymore ,like I just don't want it anymore and for a lot of reasons. So on my Saturday nights I've been staying in and then the next day I go hang with my family .. kinda boring i know. But I do have a career .I just feel like I wanna do positive things with myself ..the other hand my friend LOVES to party, drink every weekend I always wake up with a hangover and throw up the next day.I get drunk pretty easily and I keep going and going till I'm numb My friend Wants to go out tommrow and I told him I don't want to drink anymore and he's like "you're too young to not have fun anymore !" And saying how I always love drinking Why Stop it now .. basically I feel kinda guilty and I don't know why like a part of me is saying I'm crazy ? Because I'm young and suppose to have "fun" I just need other insight on this .. like tonight I'm just laying here in bed and I'm content with that |

Question: Why did my ex ignore what I said? Posted: 28 Jul 2017 04:36 PM PDT He has been talking to me since we broke up, normally just asking how I am & that's it, but recently he has been updating me on his life & said I can talk to him anytime. Last Friday he said good night & speak to you whenever you like. I messaged him on Monday that the fact remains we still want different things, so I am a bit confused why he wants to talk. My message didn't go through until today, for whatever reason (turned off his whatsapp) & he replied, "just got your message from Monday. You ok?xx" Why did he avoid talking about what I said? I haven't replied. If he doesn't want to talk about things, then why talk to me at all? |
Question: How much risk is there for making out in public restroom? Posted: 28 Jul 2017 04:28 PM PDT So there's this restroom at a park, and it's one of those single person ones with a lock. The door is next to the main trail, which is next to the street. The park is in a nice area, but police still go by. I know it's not the best place, but it seems like a good place to make out with my gf, or maybe even more after strolling around a bit at the park. Really nice weather, I might add. I wanted to know how much trouble we could get if we were to get caught or anything, thank you |
