Question: They laughed so it is not creepy? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 05:25 PM PDT I am not giving any real names here incase someone knows my girlfriend or such. They had friends over that were looking at photos. My girlfriend seem to always be wearing short dresses which in a few photos her white underpants showed underneath. I thought that part was adorable cause it is my girlfriend! I heard the friend comment on my girlfriend looking mischeivious in a few photos which she asked if Dad got good use of his belt? Her Mother say that" not a belt but those satin white panties got spanked plenty of times across Dad's lap when she was in 3rd and 4th grade. Yeah wow! The female friend laughed so maybe this is just cute? Is this creepy to talk like that? It sounds like incest |
Posted: 04 Jul 2017 04:50 PM PDT I'm your standard teenager, my hormones are off the scale! But I'm in a tough situation. I recently decided to cut my best friend out of my life. She went from literally spending all her time with me to completely ignoring me. She was walking all over me, and I wasn't going to be the doormat any more. So I've been trying to limit our time when possible (it's hard when you sit next to her in some lessons), as I dong know why I should waste my time on her if she can't give me any of hers. So there's a fair amount of raw emotion (anger I guess) on my side. But at the same time, I do miss her. I can't listen to the songs we both liked, eat the foods we would share, watch the films we both enjoyed. She was such a large part of my life, and now she's nothing, it's hard. I suppose it's like a romantic breakup lol. I got a mutual friend to subtly talk to her, and she made it very clear this wasn't the case for her, and that she didn't miss me at all. But she's been talking to me as if nothing is wrong, so I'm confused. I don't want to let myself get treated badly anymore, but I'm a very emotional person and it hurts me majorly. What do you think I should do? Fully cut the ties with her, or try and solve our problems? Thanks in advance. |

Question: 20 years old and lost? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 03:21 PM PDT I have no boyfriend, never did. I have one good friend, that lives over seas. I messed up, unforgivably by my other friends. I'm in college, however I don't know what i will be when I graduate in a year. I don't know who I am and I don't know can I become the person I want to be. I'm not depressed, I'm just lost. It is like time isn't moving forward. I have a sh*ty part-time job, which comes with even sh*tier pay. I don't even know do I want friends. Yet, it seems like friends makes the world go around. I just don't know. Plus, I don't know what the question is. Just advice. A book recommendations that guides a lost gal like myself or a story where you felt like this and now all is right in the world again because of X Y and Z etc. Thank you in advance. |
Question: How to get over someone from years ago? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 03:09 PM PDT Okay, I'm 21 years old and female. I am currently in a serious relationship with my fiancé of 7years and honestly can't imagine being with anyone else but him. However all of a sudden I got flash backs of the fourth grade and I thought of my old crush who I used to be friends with. I remember he was super nice and would stand up for against bullies. I still remember his soft voice and smile. I was 10 and he was 9 and I Thought we'd be good friends for along time. However I had to move schools and didn't know how to tell him. He also didn't know I liked him, I think he might've liked me back too, but I don't know. This was of course before cellphones and social media. I felt bad that I didn't tell him I was moving schools till the last day of summer school. Why didn't I at least give him my adress? I don't know. I was naive. But now I can't stop thinking about it all. I saw his Facebook (we're not connected) and he seems to have a girlfriend and has kids and I am very happy for him and that we both found someone, but I still feel regret. Regret for not saying my feelings or telling him about moving schools sooner. I was also super shy around him despite us being friends. However I don't feel romantically into him anymore, but Feel I want to be friends again. I feel I should thank him, for being a good friend and for defending me against bullies and sorry that I told him that I was moving schools till the last minute. Please help I just don't want to think about it anymore. Some more info, my fiancé does know about this very old crush I had on the friend years ago and I'm not jealous of him finding a girlfriend and having kids. Right now my feelings are platonic and I miss the friendship we had. I know I should let it go, but I'm having trouble. I honestly haven't thought about him in years and like three days ago he came to mind and this happened. I just want to know how to get over it. Please don't just say things like "let it go" or "get over it" I wish it was that easy. I've tried to do other things to get my mind off it, but the thoughts keep coming back. I just want it all to stop. |
Posted: 04 Jul 2017 02:47 PM PDT I went to a new place with a friend and he would always walk a few steps in front of me. Even if I catched him, he would walk faster and still be in front. |
Question: Is this creepy or am I just paranoid due to my guilt? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 02:41 PM PDT I admit I cheated on my current gf w my best woman friend a few times WAY back when I first started dating her ! I have since been clear w my friend no more and she agreed. However they work in the same building and occasionally my friend will mention how they ran into each other in the break room..ir today she asked if my gf now drives a red car cuz she sees she parks just two spots away from her now as they left work at the same time yesterday. Umm i td my friend it's creepy she notices these things about my gf. And frankly since I cheated w her I'd just assume they stay away from each other. My friend got defensive and said ' I'm not going around HER I just noticed her suddenly showing up in MY areas ..if anything she can stay on her side of the building ' I just asked my friend not to tell me these stories but she thinks I'm being dramatic. |
Question: Just using this as a "journal". Feel free to read though! Part One? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 02:26 PM PDT Okay so this happened two weeks ago. It was amazing. My friend, Zach, and I, are both lifeguards at the same pool. The pool was free that day, and so there were a lot of people whom we don't usually see there. This boy named Roger showed up. He's a year older than me. Zach said he was cute, and so he and I then attempted to have some teenage fun and "hook them up". We didn't expect any results. It was just fun. I was on my break, and Roger's cousin, Reice, was trying to take some goggles with me. I swam away from him to one side of the pool and then got out and walked to the other side to cause him to have to either swim back or get out and follow me. When I got to the other side, Roger said, " Hey, I have a question for you." I was like okay, and waited. "Does Reice like you?" I actually hadn't ever talked to Reice until that day, so of course thats what I answered. "I don't know, I've never talked to him before". He nodded and I went off to continue playing with Reice. After the pool was open, there was a showing of Beauty and the Beast in the park that was just across from the pool. I invited Zach to hang out with me, and he did. However, Roger showed up! |
Question: What do you thibk about his behaviour? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 02:01 PM PDT I am a young woman and there is a man who makes me confusing signals ... he greeted me once very affectionately, he kissed me on both cheeks holding my head from behind. The other day he approached me from behind and gently grasped my shoulders, squeezing them lightly. I tensed my body because I did not expect it. He is always very gentle and sweet with his touch. Usually he winks at me and smiles a lot when he sees me. And sometimes he comments as if regretting that he does not go to see me for a few days. What do you think ?? |
Question: Why do I always feel nervous taking my 15 year old friend to concerts at night? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 02:00 PM PDT Her parents don't mind her going to concerts at night, but it still worries me a bit every time I go with her. I also get this weird feeling in the gut whenever I let her ride the subway home after (inner cities tend to have lots of those). The concerts are always crowded and wild, and there's tons of twenty-somethings like me who will do stupid things. Summer is here, and there's always tons of events in the city. People from the US come all the way here to Canada just to attend some concerts that happen every year. I know she gets annoyed sometimes when I get nervous about leaving her alone for even a few minutes at a night concert - but I always get scared something just might happen, and since I'm five years older than her I might be expected to make sure she's safe while her parents aren't around. I'd rather stay with her than leave her with a bunch of wild, possibly drunken people she doesn't know. However, I don't feel nervous when I go with a friend my age. I feel more comfortable leaving them, but not with her. |
Question: He blocked me but the next day texted me to know my reaction why? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 01:34 PM PDT He knows I was broken because I begged him... he blocked me on fb but when I saw it I did not say a word, noticed he did not block me on watsapp but then 12hr after he blocked me he sent me a message replying to my previous message which said peace.. why did he do that n then told me not to reach for him ever again? He likes someone else so I let him go... kept quiet.. |

Question: Are a lot of preteens more sensible than younger children and teens? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 01:18 PM PDT I notice that a lot of tweens wouldn't do some of the things that older teens would find cool (or at least, some say they don't). Those things are such as drinking underage, sneaking out, doing drugs, unprotected sex, etc. they also are usually a lot more mature than younger kids and have more opinions than them. They're less exposed to a lot of horrible things that are in the "real world", but are often more sophisticated than young children. One article stated that preteens are the "more sensible stage of childhood". |
Question: Why is my best friend acting like this all of a sudden? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 01:08 PM PDT My best friend just came out to me as bi sexual last week. I told him how I care for him, how I'm always going to support him, and how I still see him as the same person I saw before he told me his sexuality. We are both 17 in high school and we've been best friends for three years. I am the first person he told and ever since he told me we have barely spoken. I tried reaching out to him the next day by calling him like I usually would and we spoke for a few seconds and he said he's going to watch TV and hung up the phone. A few days after I'd call him again and every time he'd say "can't talk right now" or "in the shower". We have a group chat with one of my other friends and he'll talk to me there, but not separately. Idk what to do because it's bothering me that he's acting like this and I don't want him to think I'm overreacting if I bring this up to him. What should I do? |
Question: Why does my friend tell me hurtful things that guys have said about me? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 12:57 PM PDT I'm a girl and there is this girl who has been in my year and from the start she always acted shady and standoffish towards me. At the beginning of the year she used to make hurtful 'jokes' about the way I look and the clothes I wore she would always say 'I bet you got that from an expensive shop like you always do. Other times she would take a bad picture of me in class and show it round the table to everyone. When I stood up and did a presentation she was sniggering and whispering to this guy and when I sat back down she turned round in her seat and glared at me for ages. Sometimes she would be really nice to be and would compliment my appearance saying I look like celebrity and then saying 'it's a compliment because she's gorgeous' but then other times she would put me down and make fun of the way I looked. One time she splashed me with water and then said 'it's because your dirty' I went to a party the other day and this same girl who was there told me that a boy spread a rumour about me that I never shaved and I was hairy I don't know why she felt the need to bring this up when I was having a good time. I was upset and started crying then the girl who told me the rumour was being really nice to me all of a sudden and looking after me and kept hugging me and telling me that she was my close friend. Then when I left home she said 'by the way you look great today' Why did she tell me a really horrible thing that someone else said about me a year ago? |
Posted: 04 Jul 2017 12:45 PM PDT I was supposed to work today at Wendy's, but my manager just called and said that I didn't need to come in today and to enjoy my 4th of July. I was half dressed for work and I was thinking about having to leave at 3pm all day. So I texted my parents that I'm not working. My whole family went a state away to be at my aunt's house to celebrate the 4th there. So I texted my boyfriend asking if he wanted to hang out, and he said that he already made plans with his friend Josh and that he is already at the movies with him. For some reason I automatically started crying. I guess I'm just lonely(?) I don't know. I don't want to be upset, and I don't even really know why I'm upset. I didn't even want to work today. I guess I just feel like I have no one I can't stop crying. What do I do to feel better? |
Question: How do I get my friends to stop talking about my mom? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 11:53 AM PDT I'll admit that I'm proud to have a beautiful mom, but when it comes to my friends, it's not something to be happy about. So recently I brought a few friends to my house so we can hang out there, and they all met my mom, nothing really happened when we were there but when we left they started talking about how they would love to have sex with my mom and BS like that. I told them to stop and ignored them for the rest of the day. Then when we went back to school they started to brag everyone about how hot my mom is and it annoyed the crap out of me. I can't even bring them into my house anymore because it's just gonna get worse. Does anyone know how I can get them to stop talking about my mom? I know this may sound silly but it's a serious problem to me. |
Question: FB friend request from a serial blocker? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 11:05 AM PDT I met someone on a FB group that was constantly asking advice regarding her family members. She was always asking advice and not heeding it, having dramatic fights with her family and ovesharing the details then blocking them for a while until she wanted another argument. One day I noticed she'd unfriended me out of the blue, no explanation initially but she posted something in our group about wanting to be forgiven for unfriending members so it wasn't an error. So today I get a new friend request from her. Uhhh... should I ignore that completely or should I respond in some way? |
Question: I met this stranger which really caught my attention but idk how to find him? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 10:57 AM PDT Basically I was on holiday with my friend and we went to a small theme park thingy and a cross the road were other things that weren t apart of it. So we went on on of them which was the waltzers and one of the staff on it caught my attention, he was absolutely gorgeous. After the ride me and my friend walked around and realised that they were waving at us and kept smiling at us. Both me and my friend wanted his number or Facebook but we re both too scared. Later on we came back to go on it just to see them but my friend didn t come on this time, when I got on someone else was spinning me and was asking me questions about myself. That day was out last day there and had to travel home for four hours we both now regret not getting any of his social media or his name. I really don t know what to do bc I can t stop thinking about him and there s no way of finding any of his social media. |

Posted: 04 Jul 2017 10:43 AM PDT Hi! Ok so I really like my guy friend! We are friends but haven't seen each other in almost a year. We still text and Snapchat though he just works like crazy! Anyways I'm kind of odd and want to get him as messy as can be. I need ideas to make him dirty she a life size mess. Some of my ideas were: Bring him to a spa just for the heck of it and once He comes close to the mud bath give him a big shove face first into the muddy slop (: Another idea was being him to a farm and shove him face first into a muddy pig pen Hire a clown to shove 3 custard pies up in his face Abt more ideas?! Thanks!! |

Question: Should i stop talking to my online friends? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 07:48 AM PDT So I have this group that contains over 40 members. They're all my friends. Recently I've been dealing with lots of stress in real life. It started to influence my mood slowly. My real life friends and family started to notice this. Anyway, when things started to get worse and when cops and ambulance came into my house for some reasons I decided to tell my online friends that I'd be leaving for a while. Didn't tell them why because I didn't want to make them feel worried. Weeks have passed and things have been a bit better, but my mood is still as bad as it was. I was thinking of returning back to my online friends but my brain says that I shouldn't be. I love my online friends but then again I can get really tired of them because of their drama. It's just like I'm having drama's in real life and internet is adding more drama into my life. Sometimes arguments on the internet could create a huge impact in my life.. and I don't need this. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. :) |

Question: Ex-boyfriend made a fake account? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 06:10 AM PDT My ex-boyfriend broke up with me in January of this year, because he was mad at me over something that was a HUGE misunderstanding. He told me he never wanted to speak to me again and blocked me on everything. Fast forward to about two weeks ago, an account followed me that was following only verified accounts of movies/video games and (yes) porn stars he seemed to like while we were together that I knew about but never brought up. We weren t that far into our relationship but had been friends for a while and I really liked him. There s a four digit number in the username and a made up first name (this person has no last name) and the date he born the last two digits of this year. The also posted pictures you would be able to find on the internet to make it seem like it was a normal account, and I don t think he thought I would figure it out. But that isn t the point. Why would he make this account to see my stuff when he made it very clear that he didn t want anything to do with me ever again? |

Question: Is pretending to be dead a crime? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 04:23 AM PDT Okay, so a girl and I got into a fight at one of her best-friends parties. This girl and I have been enemies for a very long time and we've always known how we both hated each other. On the night of the party, her and I got into a physical fight outside where no one was. She got on top of me and threw me to the ground and started choking me. I pretended to be dead. She thought I passed out so she left me outside and went back to the party. I stayed there lying on the ground outside playing on my phone. Later on, she got her friend outside and I heard them plotting to drown me while I was unconscious. They put me in her friend's spa and then went inside back to the party. After the party finished they came back outside to check if I was alive (Responsive or moving). They both started quietly panicking when I wouldn't respond to them poking me. They dragged me out the spa and dragged me all the way in her friends closet. As they fell asleep I left the house and went home. What should I do? |
Posted: 04 Jul 2017 04:21 AM PDT Okay so here s the thing, I have this friend on facebook, we re practically best friends for 2 years now, We can t meet each other often because of some distance problems, but we chat everyday, but lately, I started noticing that she s not interested in talking to me like usual, I figured maybe because she has a boyfriend now, last night, I was talking to her about my birthday party plans, which crosses out the fact that she forgot my birthday, today I woke up expecting a message but never got one, she didn t wish me a happy birthday, didn t come to my birthday party for some reasons, and didn t even get me a gift, I always made sure to wish her a happy bday and get her a gift, on top of this? she actually bothers to get other people gifts and wish them a happy bday, even though i don t care about gifts but a gesture would be nice... should i be upset? Is this how a bestfriend acts? what should I do? |
Question: My friend wants to runaway and and I don t know how to help her be safe? Posted: 04 Jul 2017 12:57 AM PDT My friend has been depressed for a while now and her parents constantly abuse her (both mentally and physically), and she s planning on reporting this to her specialist tomorrow. And she often asks me if she can come stay with my family, but I already know that with my family (there s four kids and we live in a small apartment where my parents work two jobs to support us and my father is close to absent as well as being religious, while my friend isn t. My parents are loving to us, but they contantly argue with eachother but that s another story, and we re going through financial struggles) wouldn t be the best for her since she needs to be in a family where there will be more attention to her and more love and more support (and she s met my dad once and that s it and it was at a church where they barely exchanged any words). And she hates most of her other family (and they hate her too) and I just don t know what to do. There s also teachers and I ve given her their emails and phone numbers (because some give those out so they can contact people better) but its summer break ugh. I don t know what to, because I m only a teenager and I do want to find a safe place for my friend to be. |

Posted: 03 Jul 2017 11:34 PM PDT Ever since I started online school for my sophomore (hs) year, I became socially awkward around people. This year during school it took me months to be able to get comfortable being around people again. I used to be so outgoing and so daring, I'd be the person who's the loudest in the room and laughs out loud at my own jokes that I tell others but it all stoped when I switched to online school. I was doing alright until this summer too. I have been staying inside the house with my parents and siblings for more than a month and I haven't talked to any people besides my household the entire time. I have family situations that keep me from being able to go out and do something with friends or successfully get a job. When I went to my cousins house yesterday (first time I've visited someone who's not my parents or siblings this summer) I just froze.. I was out of my comfort zone (home) so I just sat there faking a smile whenever they'd talk to me and I couldn't think of anything at all. Usually I'd be thinking of a lot of things but when I was with them, it's like my mind just froze up and I couldn't think of what to do/say nor how to act. I just sat there and pretended to do something on my phone so they wouldn't talk to me. When they did talk to me, I couldn't even think of what to say back so I just faked another smile and looked away. It's like I'm a lost little girl who can't speak for myself and needs directions. This is horrible.. and this has been my biggest challenge |

Question: Why is it not normal for a person not to want friends? Posted: 03 Jul 2017 09:29 PM PDT I have a close friend that I still talk to but to me more friends=more drama. I use to define myself by my romantic relationships and friendships but I enjoy my company now. I have no problem cutting off bad friendships. I think about myself more now. I no longer have the need for friendships. I'm not sure if my age marters but I'm in my 20s. My idea of a great night is me myself and I. I would rather end a friendship than stay in a bad one. |

Question: Why do I grow to dislike all of my friends? Posted: 03 Jul 2017 07:34 PM PDT I don't understand how people can just have friends and not eventually become so annoyed at them. Every friend I've ever had I've just eventually grew to hate and wanted them to leave me alone completely. Friends seems to be more trouble that their worth. I don't want to be like this. I want to enjoy people and having close relationships. Has anyone else experienced this? |
Question: Is this girl really a friend? Posted: 03 Jul 2017 06:58 PM PDT My so-called "friend" has been treating me poorly for the past 3 months or so. She constantly eggs me on (even though she knows that I hate confrontation), doesn't seem to care about my feelings hardly at all, sometimes completely bashes and ignores my interests, and acts like the queen-bee of our friend group. It doesn't help that my other friend seems to encourage the behavior, either. Sometimes she can be nice, funny, and sarcastic in a non-hurtful way (and that's how she used to be)--but it seems like she cares less and less about other people's feelings each day. She's just not very good at being nice or spreading positive thoughts; the pessimistic behavior is driving me nuts! I really want to think that this is just some weird phase of being a teenager. But, at the same time, I don't know how much I can handle her acting like this. Sometimes it makes me feel depressed and it definitely worsens my self esteem and my anxiety. Thoughts? |
Question: Why is a nosy neighbor so concerned about a change in my work schedule? Posted: 03 Jul 2017 05:56 PM PDT I do not talk to this person. She is a busybody and doesn't work. she peeks out of her window and watches everything I do. She tries to copy everything I put on my door. I change decorations during every holiday. |
Question: Close friends never wish me happy birthday? Posted: 03 Jul 2017 05:42 PM PDT So I didn't receive a single happy birthday wish from a about 5 of my closest friends, this year. Normally, I wouldn't think twice about giving people a pass for forgetting a bday or a couple. It's no big deal, people forget with the immediate priorities in their lives, same goes for me. However, since I have been friends with these people (been through high school and college together), I've only received a bday msg once from two of them, which was last year. This was only because we were discussing our old friends and I mentioned that they still wish me happy bday every year and come to think of it they're the only ones that ever really did from our group of friends. I always wish them happy birthday. I have a general idea of when they are and make a point to give myself a reminder closer to the date. If i forget, then i msg them a day or two after. This year, I didn't have any expectations because I knew they'd most likely forget. However I slept over at a friends place with another friend and the next morning was my bday. Still no wish the next morning. I began to think it was kind of weird that this happens every single year. We've travelled together, gone through high school and university together. I don't necessarily know what this means. Maybe I'm making too much out of it. But, after a while I think I should expect people I've been friends with for about 7 years and at least closer friends with in the last couple of years, to make it a point to wish me??? How should I approach this? I'm not big on making huge deals of little things. So I don't want to make it seem as if Im upset bc they don't acknowledge my bday, but I'm more curious to know what it says about me as a person, in their life? Because I know for a fact they remember each others bdays and wish each other. Thanks in advance :) Sorry for the long read, hope i explained it well! |
