Even when girls in middle and high school were getting attention even just friendships from boys, I was one of the girls who was totally ignored with very rare exceptions. I was pursued once in HS by a guy who liked that I was goth and thought I would be a easy lay which i wasnt. Long story short....i was at a friends house, and one of my friends (chris) said a comment against me which everyone knew i was sensitive too. Then everyone made fun of me non stop for adleast 10 minutes. They made fun of me by saying rumors Chris spread around my school. Chris would never say those things to my face but he spread rumors around my school which made it hard for me. Rumors like, "He could beat me up", "Hes better than me at sports", "im stupid". Kids in school and on my sports team made fun of me and others in school. but that night in my friends house i lost it when they said that Chris beat me up. So I got some bad family news and heard that my godfather is dying from cancer that progressed quickly. Please read and post if you have advice. My girlfriend s cat came to live with us a few days ago. I have an 8y/o beagle/hound (47 lbs) and my roommate has some kind of shepherd mix (60lbs), 2 y/o. The cat was with us two days when the dogs got into the cat room, and I found the cat dead with the shepherd mix on top. It was traumatic, we raced to save her but it was too late. This was the family cat rescued of 13 years. It s not smart to move because she will be leaving in the near future for school, but not quite that soon. She s convinced the larger dog killed her and not mine due to how he was acting before, and it seems the most plausible. What do I do? Other than being sensitive to what she might need to grieve her own way, what should and can I do practically to help the situation if at all? I offered to put my dog down but she doesn t seem to want that.

I know that the typical parent would not let a girlfriend sleep over her boyfriend's house or vice versa. Some do, but they must be very lenient (i say this because my mom would never let my boyfriend sleep over). But what if it was two gay guys? or two girls? do you think the situation would be different and the parents would accept it more since they are both of the same gender? just curious

The first time I saw this phone was on the way to school about a month or two ago. It was different from the phone he had and different from the phone any of my family had for that matter. I asked him what it was and he quickly put it away. He said it was my sisters phone he had grabbed off the counter which clearly made no sense and clearly was not her phone. How do I deal with my verbally abusive mother in a Christian way. I want to keep the peace and not get into arguments with her.
