He is impatient, rude, and just plain idiotic. Nowadays, he is always yelling at me over small things. Constantly micromanaging me, and always freaks out. For example, today I was taking care of our puppy and she had an accident. I cleaned it up and went back to what I was doing, and when he came home from work the bottle of disinfectant I used was on the floor knocked over. I didn't notice this until he mentioned it. But he completely flipped out over it, thinking I had just left it there on purpose. I told him that I didn't notice it, but it took a solid 3 minutes to convince him, he was literally PRAYING, saying that he wished he'd die if I was lying. He mocked me actually believing I was that lazy. But eventually he left and I told him he was overreacting. Another story, a couple of days ago, he told me to do the dishes. I did so, but he insisted on nitpicking everything. Making me restart from the very beginning, normally this would take 5 minutes but for this it took me 20 because we were constantly arguing over how the dishes should be placed. And he seems to be throwing the words "stupid" and "idiot" around me and about me constantly. If this seems bizarre to you, this isn't. This is normal. The kind of thing I'm expecting when he comes home each day. It is beyond annoying and I am starting to honestly hate my family. My mom is also incredibly annoying and constantly argues with me but I just had to talk about my dad because it's clear he is stupid.

My sister is 68, I'm 57. She's the oldest, I'm the youngest of 4. She was like a 2nd mother to me growing up. She helped my mom raise me. I try to keep in contact with her because she's a widow, and other than work she never goes out and doesn't have any friends. I call her every month or so. The last two times I called her she didn't answer, so I left messages. It's been over three months since my first call and she has not called me back. I know she's still alive because someone would have contacted me if she was not ok. I can understand being busy and forgetting, but after a while it just feels like an abusive relationship when it's so one-way. If I say anything to her, she'll make it seem like I'm the problem, or make excuses such as that she didn't get the message (she's used that one before). Do I say anything or just pull back and be satisfied with talking to her once or twice a year? Right now the situation is very painful.

My roommate won't pay for ANYTHING. She used my salsa never bought a new jar, she used all my pepto bismal never bought me any. She's used my plastic spoons, plates, etc and when I asked her to buy some she has an excuse of she has no money to buy them. My cousin had a baby 3 months ago. Our entire family is over the top because she had been trying to have a baby for ten years. We could not be happier that they are both doing ok after the very difficult pregnancy and the long stay at the hospital. All the time I've constantly checked on her since we had all been so worried. I even made a social media account since she lives in a different state so that I can see the baby grow even when I'm not a big fan of social media. Yesterday we had been talking and she always teases me about how much I take care of my little furry pet and asked teasingly if I'd watch the baby when I visit and I teasingly told her sure we can watch each others kids. She got so mad and it threw me off since she is always referring to my pet as my child and when I joined in her jocke she was offended. She accused me of being jeolous of the fact that she has a baby. My husband and I are on birth control and have always taken extreme caution as not to get pregnant since I'm almost done with school and we would like too wait 3 or more years until we have children. Why would she say something like that when I'm over the moon for the baby that I was even wishing on being the good mother and as a gift opening up a college fund for him.

Everyone says that it's bad and weird that I don't want my crush meeting my mom. But we leathery have no relationship yet but all he does is stalk me and "impose himself" into my life and business. As long as I can think my parents have been divorced and I always grew up with my mother alone. When I was about 8 or 9 my father visited me regularly every two weeks but that only lasted for half a year. He came to one of my birthdays (I don't remember which one) and treated every guest like **** only because he was there, I also tended to treat my mother badly when he was around. Then, for a couple of years we somewhat ignored each other and barely had any contact so I somewhat grew to dislike him for ignoring me and making me feel like an unwanted piece of trash. On my last birthday, he contacted me and sent me money as a present, since then I always try to let him give me money for different occasions because why not, pocket money is nice. Instead of starting to try to build up a relationship with him, I found someone else to admire as a rolemodel; one of my teachers. Simply because we share the same interests and he helps me with my stuff and sometimes praises and criticizes my work in a nice manner. I think I am being verbally and emotionally abused by my mom here is some of the accounts: as a teenager she would not believe me so she had to watch me take a bath even though I did it on my own, she would hold me down every night and force face cream on me. as an adult she called me retarded to my face. she always yells at me , she has a bad day she takes it out on me. Update: I will come out of room at night and try and talk to her and she will say my show is on be quiet and go back to ur room. other times I will try and talk to her and she will be like is it time for dinner more or less impying that I am annoying her. she tells me to shut up all the time. is any of this considered abuse I say yes but friends say no. I need to get out of here fast and I need to know if it abuse before I go and say it is my friend said that if I cry abuse and get to court and they find it not true then they get mad at me for crying it. so idk what to do it. We've seeing each other on and off for two years. We talk every other day but I do most the calling and texting. We spent New Years together but he won't call me his girlfriend. My parents, every day, complain about and insult everything I do. Whether it be doing the dishes slightly wrong, rather than showing me my error, they get irritated and somewhat mad and angrily show me how. I wiped god damn bread crumbs up wrong this morning and my dad nearly flipped. And it isn't just this minor. They trash me for things I didn't do, and whenever I forget to do something, they make me feel like the stupidest person alive with what they say. They make me feel awful. I look for good things in everything they say to me, and barely anything can be found. The occasional "good job in school" or "love you" is all that can be found, and the latter is bullcrap. I just want to know if I can confront them about this and somehow make them stop trashing on me without any arguments or anything. Just a calm talk.

I'm 17 going on 18 and my mom apparently found my dildo under my bed while I was gone on a week long vacation. When I got back she had told me that my dog had peed on my bed while I was gone and she needed to clean my sheets. It was a hard relationship with everyone in the household seeing that my mom has M.S and is titled as disabled meaning she cant work. My brother abuses me when my mum isn't home. My parents broke up because my dad was hitting my mum. My brother takes after my dad, hitting and abusing me every chance he gets. He moved across the country from me when I was five and I usually see him once a year. The visit is getting more annoying as I get older. (I ll be nineteen next month) I love him, but he keeps trying to fit a year of parenting into five days. I have parents who raised me, so I have gotten most of the advice already. Ok so today I went to my local comic book store I go to every week to get latest issues. And today I found one comic book, even though I didn't really find what I was looking for in particular but I still like giving them business because the guy who works there is really nice and gives me great service and today when he rung me up I gave him my debit card but the system was down and he was trying to run it through. So after trying he pulled out his wallet and took cash out and paid for it for me and I walked out. I kinda feel guilty because I don't feel right getting something I didn't worked for. I feel like going back the next time and giving him the amount because it wasn't much and two he is really nice plus I felt like he was struggling with the system down. But I feel like if I do he'll refuse to take it but I want him to or I can't live with myself being a person who just takes and doesn't give. What do you think?

Hello, ever since I was around age 13-14 I'm gonna say, my mom would always borrow money from me for bills or her bfs bills. She has always paid it back, although she doesn't pay it back for a while after. I've been doing this for her since then and I'm 20 now. She currently owes me about $1600 and that's being nice, I've let a lot of "borrowed" money just slide so if I were to count everything she probably owes me around $2K. She is needing another $1500-1700 for us to move into our apartment which I will be living in with her. I don't know how much more I can do I don't even have money anymore to give her but I don't know if I'm being selfish or do most 20yr olds help their parents this way? She never helps me out until now by letting me live in the apartment with her. I've never borrowed or been given money by her other than maybe like $50 on bday or Christmas. She has kept a roof over my head and always fed me, I'm grateful for that I just don't know if I'm being a selfish brat or not. My dad had a lot of rules which i thought were pretty sexist , he would make me wear only long skirts, no tank tops, no jeans/leggings. and i had to wear hats everywhere to cover my head, i wasnt aloud to go out without one. I was treated so much different from my brothers, even in the summers i needed to be coveted while i was hot and sweaty and my brothers were perfectly fine wearing shorts, etc. as i got older i began distancing myself from him. he would constantly yell at me. and i just started ignoring him more (i stayed with my mother most of the time) i would still check up on him , but now he has stopped contacting me completely. i feel this is my fault , i still love him and i want him in my life but i didn't like the way he acted i regret this so much and i miss him. im 14

My grandpa is getting sick, and now he doesn't want to wake up and sit. He been doing this for weeks. I, 17 years old, is his favorite grandchild. He doesn't seem to talk to me no more. My uncle/aunt and mom and dad told him, if he wants to go to the hospital, but he declined and said, "going there, means they can't even save me." Should we just forced him or let his wish come upon?

So last night I went to bed around 2 am and as I came up the stairs I heard a noise coming from my sisters room. I went into her room and her fan which usually rotates was stuck so I turned it off and left. Apparently according to my sister after I went to bed I actually went and slept walked into her room and was moving stuff around. So today I got bit by something and went to get the itch spray from my sisters room and when she saw me go into her room she called my mom over to get me out and then claimed that I was watching her sleep and stuff at night. So I denied it because I don't remember doing any of that and just asked her again where the itch spray I gave her was and she just smiled as my mom yelled at me for apparently watching my sister at night so I grabbed my sister by the arm and called her retarded and at that point my mom grabbed me so I shoved her off of me. Later in the day my dad told me to not be up late because I was "sleep walking" and watching my sister sleep and stuff then I go upstairs later and he says to me "I heard you thing you're badass roughing on your mom" and I told him I didn't hardly touch her and he said "I know because if you did I would have whipped you" and I said "I know" semi sarcastically and then he charged at me fists up and said "Dont give me any of that i know bullshit" and was basically ready to fight me. Okay.. I know this questions sounds REALLY weird. But hear me out. So I live primarily with my dad. He lives in a small trailer along with his girlfriend, his girlfriends son, and his homeless friend. My dad is the only one with a job, so he can t afford much. I dont have health insurance, and I havent been to the doctor for a "check up" in years. Im 14. Everyone in the trailer smokes weed and cigarettes inside. All of my clothes smell like it. I have easy access to cigarettes or marijuana if I wanted some. Our trailer is also completely filthy. There is trash all over the floors and counters. It smells like garbage. We don t have trash service either so we burn our trash or put it behind the shed. I dont live with my mom because she doesnt talk to me when I do go there. Anyway, heres why I want to be taken away from them. I am very academically inclined. I usually do well in school, so I signed up for extremely difficult classes for my first year of high school. Im also doing marching band(which is pretty difficult). I dont know how I can handle all of this stress with my current living conditions. I have a grandparent that has a stable home. Okay I am 13 a 13 year old boy. I have a problem with my parents, I haven't been going to my dads in a few years. The first weekend I went back a few months ago, my moms sister (and her two daughters, keep in mind I was the ONLY boy in the house) were living with us, I hated it. The first weekend I went to my dads house he asked my if I wanted to move over there, he kept on asking everyday. I said yes giving circumstances at my moms house, when school ended they moved out so I was much happier. Then we had to go to court for custody, since they moved out of my moms house, I told the judge I wanted to live at my moms house. But the damn judge went ahead and make it one week at my dads, and one keep at my moms. I am at my dads house right now. I have been staying my friends houses for a few days, tonight I was super exited to stay at my other friends house but my dad has to shut it down by making me come home. When I get there he doesn't ask what did, if I had fun or not. He just makes me sit on the couch and just rants on about how my bitchy *** sister does all of this stuff and I forget to do what he asks, I said I'm at my friends house having fun etc. So I did forget but he calls that bullshit and rants on about he never forgets things when he always does. When I was at my friends he literally said "Be home by 8PM so we can go the grocery store". I was home by 8, but at around 8:08 he tells me that I was supposed to be home by 8:00 and says that is 8:08. So I say that I was home by 8 and we have been talking for 10 minutes, then he calls me a smart ***. Long-story short I (The day before he said he would go to the grocery store himself, and he "forgot" to) go to the fridge to get something to drink, theres nothing there but his ******* beer. So I go to get food, (he always buys shitty off-brand food that always expire in 3 ******* days) and there is nothing there. He says there are hot dogs in the fridge so I go to get a bun and they expired June 23rd, it is now July 24th. There was no mold but they were hard. So he cooks some in the microwave and always makes me eat the expired ****. Everytime I am home and he wants to go to the grocery store he always puts it off until the next day, then the next, then the next. Then we never go and I have to go back to my moms. I have had enough of this bullshit. He always does this. At the time of this update, he cooked both of them and ate them leaving me nothing to eat, my mouth dry and stomach hurting. People are going to say drink tap water, but everytime I get tap water it comes out ******* white. He said before that he was going to get sprite at the store but I wasn't there to go. Bullshit, there is nothing for me to drink and your lazy *** couldn't have gotten anything for me. I ******* hate going over there.

i really think my mom is cursed or something i really dont know. she is very rude s he dont care about her family what so ever none of her sisters even talk to her but the weird thing is that whenevr she does talk to her sisters her sisters get sick they either end up in the hospital or get sick. a few years ago my mom talked to one of her sisters and that night her house burned to the ground my parents went out for two days and it was relaxing without them but as soon as she got home i just got so angry and stressed i could feel the negative energy i really dont know if this has anything to do with it but when my mom was 18 she got pregnant and had an obortion but she still blames my dad for her decision i really think she is cursed i really dont know

My dad also punched me when I got a bit too loud. He can just start yelling at me if I do the slightest thing. Do other dads do that too or is it just mine? I don't really want to go to his house anymore. I allways come home getting hurt.
