Im trying to make new ones, but its a very slow process for me (because Im shy). Im not even close to the friends I have, due to all my other friends going to another school. I have almost no snapchat friends or Facebook friends and it makes me feel like a loser compared to others my age when they have many snapchat friends or Facebook friends. Plus I've never had a boyfriend (Im not TERRIBLY ugly, not that pretty either tho). I can't even get a guys phone number. Some people hate me for no reason, even though I have never talked to them(and If I have, its was very little) I feel like a loser because I'm almost 14 and I've accomplished nothing a regular teen has and It feels like Im wasting my teen years! How do I change this in high school? Is it even possible for me to be popular at this point!? What should I do? There is this guy who sometimes creates fake Facebook accounts and he adds me. I don't know if this is him or not but I received a friend request from a Facebook account and I accepted. The person keeps inviting me to like pages that has sexual content. I also keep receiving pokes from the person I sent the person a message they didn't reply. Today I saw where the person made a post on their wall that said I love you and then they made another post saying I miss you. I wasn't tagged in the posts though. Then I received another friend request in the middle of the night. When I woke up this morning to accept the request the profile was gone. Then about an hour ago I received a friend request from someone with no profile picture. I accepted the request and I saw the page only had one post. He took off with my car seat and diaper bag, so we had nothing all night. I even called his mom for help but she said to let her son do whatever he wanted and she wasn't going to help me. The next day my friend came over and got me (she had a car seat) because she's pregnant and helped me go pack my stuff at my ex's house.. Before we finished packing my ex's mom tried to take my son from my friend but we said no and we said no politely. She then started yelling and cussing and throwing her fists and kicking her feet at my pregnant friend who was also holding my son, there was multiple times that she almost hit my baby and my friends belly, luckily she didn't. We left and didnt report it because I was still having mixed emotions about my ex but it's a week later and me nor my friend have been able to get over how she almost hurt her and the baby.& I realized I'm better off without them all.. But I'm now out of state staying with my sister. Yesterday I filed a CPS report on her over the Internet and today my friend said she wanted to file a police report. If she goes and files one.. Can she possibly get a child protection order against her for my son? Or would I need to fly back and do it myself? I really don't want her in my sons life after that, but idk how to go about it... |

They are talking about school and talk about me. The friend told my best friend that she and this other friend said it was embarrassing to be around me and I didn't fit in with them. My best friend has decided not to hang out with these people anymore and so have I. The problem is, everyone else at school thinks I'm weird or I just don't want to be friends with them bc they're the kind of people who sit on snapchat all day and talk about makeup and outfits... etc Which is really not the sort of person I want to have as a friend. I lie in bed all day, watch tv a bit and stay at home all day. Because I'm so sad and I think I'm depressed. I have a few friends but I tell myself I have no one. I can't bother to go out, there's no point now I've lost most my friends to someone I realy hate now. Yet I feel I can easily convince myself that by going out, I'm gathering info and connecting to people, I can use all this againdt the person I hate eventually. I can easily create a master manipulation plan to destroy everything my enemy has and that will be enough to have me socializing with everyone because at the end of the day I'm taking that person down. Whether these plans are realistic, is debatable but once I make them they sound realy convincing and almost foolproof to me. This all won't make me happy, but I will do everything to seem happy and charming. Should I use this hate, dreams of power and master schemes to kick my butt to no longer feel depressed and hopeless. At this point I have no goals or dreams, except destroying the person I hate. |

He gave me a job when no one else would and I just adore him. He is always available to help me when I need help. He is giving me training so I can improve my skills and get a higher wage. He is very generous with raises. All the guys I work with are my friends and I enjoy working with them. They are just great people and I enjoy coming to work each day. I found out my boss called a meeting soon after I was hired of all the guys and told them "We now have a beautiful woman working here and I do not want any problems with sexual harassment". "Anyone that is going to hit on her will be fired immediately". "I know having a beautiful woman working here is new for you guys, but she is a very valuable member of our team and I don't want to loose her". "It is my moral and legal obligation to see that she does not feel the slightest pressure of sexual harassment". I think my boss paying me a compliment. So basically my friend sam and his older brother Kevin's house is a hang out place. Me and my friend Steven always go there to chill. | Question: What's up with my stepmom? Posted: 02 Sep 2016 12:01 PM PDT I'm a 15 y.o. girl. I recently, at my request, moved to Mississippi to live with my dad and stepmom because my biological mom has drug problems and has been a very inconsistent mom (to say the least). I love her, but my dad and stepmom have always been there for me. and I needed stability. Before I made the decision to move here, my dad and stepmom warned me that they still believed in spanking as a last resort even at my age. I was kind of shocked, but really wanted to move in here, and (since I rarely get in any trouble) wasn't all that concerned. This morning I got in big trouble for something that I, in all fairness, deserved to be in trouble for. But I was still flabbergasted when dad had my stepmom take me out back and bust my behind. She didn't leave any bruises or "hurt" me or anything like that, but she did light me up something good and the pain was/is very intense. I'm just kind of shocked. I know that they love me, I'm NOT looking to turn them in or get them in any trouble (regardless of the answer to this question), but this is so far from my cultural norms that I have to ask, are they even legally allowed to do this? Is it fair at all? I just never really saw this happening at my age, and it all went down so suddenly.... Is this legal? Common? Fair? Typical? I lied about where I was going, and yes it is a 2nd offense (I got grounded the 1st time), and lying is their #1 rule (understandably). I'm usually very honest but I was really stupid this time. The lie was about where Id been. I said I went to a friends house but I really went to a different friend's house to swim alone. I had permission (from the friend) to use the pool, but I knew my stepmom wouldn't let me swim alone and couldn't go with me today, so I went by myself and made up a cover Kathy---in fairness, I asked for it to be my stepmom because she was the same gender and also because in many ways im closer to her than my dad. |
| Question: Why are people this way where I live? Posted: 02 Sep 2016 11:56 AM PDT Where I live two people would be friends with each other and then suddenly they would start a skirmish with each other and be enemies for a whole two weeks, then flip the script and be each other's friend again. These people would be friends with each other though when they're away from each other they talk about their friends in a demeaning way. The people I've seen to try to hang around with out here would hang around me and act as though as we are best buddies but when I would try to get involved with them their attitude would change into a hostile rude one and then Become nasty with me, and then when I back off they shape back up. Other people would be my friends for a while, when they have friends that are my enemies, they would turn on me and do something malaicious to me to help their friends out and turn around and act like me and them are still pals. What is wrong with these people? |

There is this guy who sometimes creates fake Facebook accounts and he adds me. I don't know if this is him or not but I received a friend request from a Facebook account and I accepted. The person keeps inviting me to like pages that has sexual content. I also keep receiving pokes from the person I sent the person a message they didn't reply. Today I saw where the person made a post on their wall that said I love you and then they made another post saying I miss you. I wasn't tagged in the posts though. Then I received another friend request in the middle of the night. When I woke up this morning to accept the request the profile was gone. Then about an hour ago I received a friend request from someone with no profile picture. I accepted the request and I saw the page only had one post. Then when I went back to look at the profile it was gone. |
| Question: How can I avoid going to my best friends wedding? Posted: 02 Sep 2016 11:33 AM PDT We've been friends for 14 years and he asked me to be his best man. I have social anxiety and I hate parties and pretty much any social event with a lot of people. I just know I'm going to have a terrible time just like I did at the last wedding I went to. If I just tell my friend I don't want to go it could damage our friendship or possibly end it so I need a good excuse. The wedding is soon and he's already asking me who I'm bringing or if I want to do a speech and I don't know what to do. How can I get out of this? |
| Question: Why won't my school budge even a little bit? Posted: 02 Sep 2016 11:31 AM PDT I'm a freshman in high school in Texas. I'm like NEVER in trouble at school at all (I'm actually an honors student and head cheerleader) but today I let my friends peer pressure me into joining them in bullying a girl in the locker room during PE class, and we totally got caught. I felt bad about it as soon as I did it and I HAVE apologized. The saddest, worst part is that this is a girl that I usually go out of my way to be nice to because of how others treat her. I know it was horribly wrong and I make no excuses for my behavior I also realize I DESERVE to be in trouble. But the school isn't cutting me ANY slack even though I have a great track record. I got sent home with a form informing my mom what I did (totally fair) and that I will be getting swats Monday. I just think this is a gross overreaction. I've never even had detention but once! I haven't given my mom the letter yet, though I know I need to when she gets off work today. I just don't know why I can't get a little slack? I deserve to be in trouble but swats just seem soooo extreme, and I'm a total wimp about pain. Any other penalty would be fair and deserved, but they won't compromise at all! |

Posted: 02 Sep 2016 10:56 AM PDT His grandma told my mom that he and I should talk, help eachother out since we're on the same career path. HE comes to her apts like 3x a week(I live in the same complex as her). I'm assuming he's talked to her about it otherwise she wouldn't say anything cause she's not that type and hasn't said anything all these years until now. Today when I was getting out the door he got out of his grandma's and I was expecting him to wave or say hi but he just fumbled with his phone and called someone or pretended to not sure. We texted like 2 weeks ago, so if he has no feelings for me why wouldn't he just wave right? So he's shy?? we're both 26 |

| Question: How to stop thinking about my old sister? Posted: 02 Sep 2016 10:31 AM PDT I am 19 years old and my sister is 26 I never really had any friends but my sister was my best friend 6 years ago until she started to change. You see 6 years ago my sister would invite me to her house on the weekends to play board games, and basically have fun. So me and my sister started to become really close and became best friends (I guess you can say) but about 3 or 4 years ago she started to change and she started spending less time around me and started to even be a little meaner to me. I also notice that every time I do go to her house she never cares to play any games with me or have fun like she use too instead she just ignores me. I don't tell her anything but deep down it does kind of hurt me that she has changed. And i know i can't change her her back to the nice sister she use to be to me because lets face it no one can change another person. That person has got to want to change for themselves. So my question is how do I deal with this situation to where it stops bothering me? |

She threw a drink on him and even ripped up a shirt he left at her place and left it hanging on his front gate. He told me had her blocked on fb and in his phone. While we were lying in bed last night I noticed his phone vibrating and her name popped up. I said, I thought you told me you had her blocked? He looked stunned and said you need to understand that I need to talk to her in order to square the situation away. I called her phone number and handed him the phone. He then got upset and was going to leave my place because I called her. I couldn't understand why he was so upset if he wasn't seeing her anymore. Then she text me her call log showing me that he had called her 4 times before he got to my place. He ended up staying the night. When I got work the next morning she text me saying, "Please keep this door away from my door". What kind of person stalks their so called stalker? How should I feel? What should I do at this point? I told him I knew he had contacted her again...I need advice please!! |
| Question: No friends at school? Embarrassed? Posted: 02 Sep 2016 10:04 AM PDT I m really embarrassed to admit this. I have 2 friends at school, both of whom prefer other people over me (which is why I said no friends in my title, it feels the same). I eat lunch alone in a chair outside the library, I have nobody to work with during classes. If I sit on one side of the desks my classmates sit on the other side and leave me alone. I know my teachers pity me and my dad knows, he keeps asking me why I don t have any friends. I m okay with being alone because Im very introverted but it s so embarrassing to be the only one left without a partner because nobody wants to sit with me or work with me. I don t know what to do. How do I survive this? I thought it was because I looked different (I had colored hair and wore all black and everyone else in my school is kinda rich and wears designer stuff) so I changed my hair color and cut it and started wearing nice clothes but still everybody ignores me. I just started my junior year, it s only the first day and it already seems hopeless. Please don t tell me to make new friends, my school is very small and we ve all known each other for years, they genuinely want nothing to do with me. It s humiliating |

Between my job, marriage, chores, and other projects/obligations, I have little time and energy. She is upset with me for not having the time to hang out w/ her & constantly txts me making me feel bad that I don't get to see her often. With other friends I catch-up over the phone or coffee once in a while. She only wants to physically hang out for long hrs & gets upset when we do & I have to leave by 9 /10pm bcuz I have work the next day & haven't been home since 8am when I left for work.I explained to her that my life is different now but she still makes me feel bad about it. She is sill college (taking 3 classes/sem max) & has no responsibilities. She is living with her parents who have live-in help. They are well off & well connected so she never has to work for anything - no job, no chores, no errands - everything is delivered to her. I tried telling her that but she gets defensive & tells me she is handling the family business & is always working (none of it is true - I call her out on it & she denies) I know she cares about me & really loves me, but she is guilt tripping me & making me feel bad by her constant texts asking when is she going to see me.Is it our age/lifestyle differences? Her constant texts are emotionally draining & I'm always feeling both guilty & angry. How do I make her understand? Am I a bad friend? |

I only have two friends in the school because I chose not to be popular. I've been popular before but I couldn't accept hurting the feelings of other people...ever since we stopped being friends she became friends with my haters but she has always given me hints that she wants to be my friend like observing me smiling at me and complimenting me, she has always supported me if something bad happened although she was mean sometimes she always spoke to me and even secretly returned my phone to me...I wanna be friends with her and laugh like we used to but a part of me just won't accept it...I was the one who ended the friendship...I hurt her feelings and I won't ever be able to forgive myself for it...I was suicidal and emotional that I had lost the things that meant the most to me... besides when I wanted to apologize to her I never made it to school...I had health issues and almost died and when I wanted to apologize to her she was already bff's with my haters... Anyway it's been 2 years and school started recently started those two days I've been depressed and all alone because my friends have not returned to school yet because they are older than me and in other classes. Today my former friend approached me and asked me how I was doing afterwards she asked me if I was going anywhere outside of school.. I lost my phone yesterday and I found it laying at my usual hangout spot...I lost it yesterday and when I looked for it at my spot I didn't find it but I found it after looking for it a second time. I think my former friend found it and secretly left it for me there without saying a word.... why does she go all this for someone like me? |

There is a misunderstanding between my ex-friend and me now. Now we doubt because of the misunderstanding between my ex-friend and myself, the laptop technician might have been convinced by my ex-friend to dump junk spares into our laptop and return to ourselves? as my ex-friend is an expert in manipulating people including myself.
