She can't tell the difference between sass and plain rudeness, she tells me she hates me and she always reply with either "whatever" or "screw you". Recently, I asked everyone when they can make the filming days because I have a camera so I could do it and only about 3 people could, so I cancelled it. I've had to cancel about 3 times already because people couldn't make it and their part was important. I was really mad. About only 3 people were actually being helpful and the other 3 were not responsive. So, I decided to send EVERYONE a text saying that if they could not make the day we filmed and their character is needed, we'll get someone else to play the part. One of the girls texted me another one and said I was being too harsh on it. But, honestly, this is my grade. So what? I'm the director and the editor and editing takes a tremendous amount of time and effort. I just want to know what you guys think about this. Am I being mean or too harsh or am I doing what's right? |

We came up with a plan to burn the practice books (not textbooks) in a fire pit to like officially say that our studying is finally over, then after we celebrate with smores. I told my mom about this so i could go, but she was so mortified how can you burn something that gives you knowledge - all it has is just questions you can find them on the internet too so its not a big deal. Posted: 10 May 2015 04:21 PM PDT I have just overheard that two of what I thought were my close friends have said behind my back that I "have no life" and "am heading towards a midlife crisis", I am "stale", "miserable" and "need to wake up to reality". They were heard by someone I know saying that my opinions don't count because my life is so rubbish. I had no idea they felt this way. I thought we were really close. We weren't best friends that's for sure, but we were far from this. I don't think my life is excellent at the moment, I am doing a job which I don't love and do complain a bit but i'm not completely depressed and I do enjoy life. The fact they see me as so insignificant has betrayed me. Apparently they said they were concerned about me but I have never once heard any of them confront me about their "worries"! I don't know whether to assess if my life really is as crap as they make out, or if they're just being back-stabbing horrible people. Surely decent people would have the guts to tell you to your face. What do people think? I feel really betrayed, sad and down from this. :( We've also been friends for about 10 years now, which makes it even harder to justify what they've said. |

But if you say that Annette called you dumb and Annette is so stupid and mean and start talking about her behind her back (not that you weren't doing that in the first place) but if you start saying gall sorts of rude things behind her back I know that's bad. They call my hair a rat's nest, say my skin is pasty, and say my clothes are grandma's clothes. I'm not very witty, so I ignore them. Her parents force her to do things she doesn't want to do. She's so bad, she sells drugs and even does them, she's planning to run away and be a drug dealer forever. She hates kids and men. She use to love kids back in grade 7, she was always talking about how she wanted to have a nice family with nice kids, but now, she hates everything including herself. She's an alcoholic, she brings alcohol everywhere, she carries it in her purse and puts it in her soda when we are out in a restaurant. I brought up the show supernatural once, and she was like "omg I'm obsessed with it" and she made up characters and bought its merch. She doesn't even know any of the characters. She does makes up this nonsense. Then, she claims that she knows everything about bands. (MCR, FOB, SWS etc) she buys all the band merch and she can't even name at least 2 songs. She's always answering with "oh I love them all" "I love all their songs" "I don't have a least fav" etc. She pretends to like these bands when she's around me and when she's around other people, she's like "oh 1D is great and MCR, FOB etc…sucks ***." Their parents have saved money for when they turn 18 and my mom can't do that. My dad left us when I was very young) I even introduced them to the rest of my friends and they seem to be closer now. Posted: 10 May 2015 01:57 PM PDT i get jealous when she hangs out with other people- not in the 'you can't have other friends way', more like 'you told me you hated her and now you're shrugging me off and going for ice cream with her -.-' idk, she's going out of the country for the summer holidays after we made plans to do stuff together and i didn't want to tell her how that hurt me so i to have fun (very sarcastically, i might add) i dont know whats wrong; she's been mad at me since i dropped one of the only classes we had together and left her with people she hates, and i feel bad about that, but i hated that class and now i love my new one and i dont know what i'm even gonig on about right now, can someone just tell me what is not right in this relationship because i hate feeling the jealousy when she starts talking about things she did with her other friends, or when she won't shut up about some dude that's hot. ugsadjkFJKGGho THAnk you |

Posted: 10 May 2015 01:37 PM PDT (You don t have to read this long paragraph just please read the bottom one) So about 6 months ago I switched schools to one about half an hour away. Almost everyone that was my "friend" stopped talking to me except for 2 of my closest friends. Then Madison(my second closest best friend) got all these inside jokes with my "friends" including my other best friend Emily. Before all this happened, my two friends hardly knew each other and I was kinda the glue of the thing. But since I left Madison has been growing closer and closer to Emily and even finding the same things funny and stuff. Madison also pretends like I never exist anymore but Emily still texts me and we try to hang out but it never works because of our schedules. I feel like Emily has grown closer to Madison and I m gone and there s nothing I can do about it. I know I m being clingy and jealous wrapped in slight anger but I don t want to drag Emily down. If she wants to be best friends with her it s fine. She s already been there for me more than you can ask for. But now it hurts because I m so dependent on my friends for my happiness and it feels like a stab in the heart to let her go. I m kinda best friendless now and just want to crawl into a corner and wish everything was the same again. So the question is. How can I get over a past best friend and cope with third wheel syndrome and loneliness? |

| Question: Help with my client? Posted: 10 May 2015 12:59 PM PDT Hi I'm 25, a personal trainer and live in the UK. I have a 16 year old client and in January her mum made me aware of something that had happened to her (it was really horrific) let's just say it knocked everything down; her weightloss, her mood and her exercise. It affected everything. Over the last month she has made really good progress and has lost weight and things were starting to look up. However yesterday, I was in the middle of training her and this guy who's a regular at the gym and about the same age as me comes over and starts giving her abuse because they slept together and i obviously tell him to leave and to back off and he's there being so horrible to her and she's cowering behind me. So I thought that's it I've had enough and I got one of the other trainers to remove him from the premises. She was really upset and started crying then said, "I'm not even safe at the gym either..." That broke my heart because I've been training her since she was 13 so I care for her. I just gave her a big hug, calmed her down and texted her mum about it. But honestly she's probably not gonna want to be left at the gym alone so what do I do? |

We came up with a plan to burn the practice books (not textbooks) in a fire pit to like officially say that our studying is finally over, then after we celebrate with smores. I told my mom about this so i could go, but she was so mortified how can you burn something that gives you knowledge - all it has is just questions you can find them on the internet too so its not a big deal. Anyways she says no way i'm letting you go, and i'm going to be the only one not participating in this. I've been crying my eyes out that i'm going to miss this. I'll do anything to go to this, what do I do!!!! We're in 9th grade and i'm not a reckless teenager i've never done anything bad, like failing classes, ditch school, drugs, run away from home, the most i've ever do is just when i get upset i run to my room slam the door and ignore my parents, but its nothing extreme. |

| Question: Friend Betrayed Me and Wants to Be my Friend again? Posted: 10 May 2015 12:37 PM PDT So one of my friends is SUPER annoying, always looking for attention, breaching conversations and doesn't exactly follow personal space rules (he tends to get very close). He's also really creepy like he's always staring at me and my other friends, no one likes him actually and he is very boring. So one day one of my friends wants a picture with me and two others because we're his closest, but this friend wants to get in. The other friend offers to tag him as photographer but the friend refuses so I asked him politely to sit this one out because the other friend just wants me and two others. The friend storms to the bathroom, texts his mom and some girls that I am continuously bullying him and excluding him (Legit like idk what the heck). The girls talk to me and I get pretty sad and my friends, popular guys, those girls and other girls comfort me. That friend notices that and comes to me when I'm alone to apologize. I tell him to stay away from me from now on. Honestly he's always talking trash about me and my best friends (I heard from the girls). Now he's trying to get himself back in to put group but my friends don't want him to and neither do I. What can I do to make sure he stays away, I could beat him up easily (I'm pretty strong and he's pretty boney) but I wanna see if there is any other solution to make him permanently get away because physical action may be a more last resort in this situation in my opinion. Any ideas? |
