Question: I guess I insulted my friend ? Posted: 02 Mar 2020 01:11 PM PST I guess I somehow insulted my friend. I honestly think she took what I said completely out of context. I apologized to her at least 7-8 times during our one conversation and she just won't drop the subject. She told me she does not want me in her wedding any longer after I spent a TON of money on a bridesmaid dress and just purchased gifts for her shower. I'm not sure what more I can do?! I've apologized what more can I do!? Honestly all I told her was she should consider getting a masters degree because she was very talented at her work and she'd be able to move up. She took that as me trying to tell her what to do with my life.
Question: Wedding guest list help! ? Posted: 01 Mar 2020 07:09 AM PST My husband to be and I have sorted our guest list. Unfortunately our venue only holds 80 people during the day and up to 120 in the evening - this is completely fine as we have 115 guests altogether however my partner tells me that he doesn't want his fathers side of the family during the day for the ceremony or meal and would rather have them at night and I'm unsure about this as this will cause an argument with his family. He keeps telling me he would rather have his friends all day rather than this side of the family. Also, one of my partners best friends is getting married in a few months and we both really dislike his wife to be, she is incredibly miserable when the spotlight is not on her and causes drama for no reason - a lot of our family and friends have noticed this on different occasions ie friends birthdays, our engagement party, etc and I told him that I would rather this woman come in the evening however he is adamant she should come during the day with the friend. He doesn't want this friend to come at the evening. Can you please tell me your suggestions and how you worked your guest list! Thanks!
Question: Should I be sensible when choosing bridesmaids or by height/weight pretty vs ugly? Posted: 15 Feb 2020 06:16 PM PST I am short and most of the women who I know are short. My groom's groomsmen are all tall there are fifteen. With his influence I only wanted to choose tall bridesmaids but I just can't come up with hardly enough...so my groom had the idea to use all his exes who still want him chosen as bridesmaids they are all tall and pretty. I was very insulted when he first brought it up saying the pictures will look good because I'm short and the tall and short bridesmaids I chose are all family to me. Should I go with his idea or do the sensible thing and choose out of Love.

Question: Bell tower on Houston? Posted: 01 Feb 2020 01:44 PM PST Hi! I am interested in the bell tower venue in Houston. They will not send anyone pricing through email and i don't wanna waste my time driving over there or leaving work early if it's not in my budget! I'm looking for reception for 100 people. Also do you have a bridal suite? Grooms quarters? I know they have multiple weddings a day so I'm guessing no? Does anyone know the pricing? THEY DO NOT LIST PRICES ON THEIR WEBSITE
Question: Planning a bachelorette party and I am the maid of honor... I NEED HELP!? Posted: 28 Jan 2020 07:59 PM PST So I am planning a bachelorette party for my best friend and I am the maid of honor. She wants a relaxing weekend and doesn't want anything crazy. I have found a private lake house with a private dock to rent for the weekend. It's a bit pricey but I offered to chip in half of the overall price and letting the other 5 bridesmaids split the other half. The bride doesn't want anything sexual or off colored at her party. I am not sure what to do because we will be out in the middle of nowhere at a lake. What games could we play? What do I serve to eat and drink? and am I supposed to get her a gift as well? I love my best friend but this is breaking the bank already. Please people give me ideas, I have NEVER done this before...
