So we are both 20 years old I work about 25 hours a week and I'm a full time college student enrolled in 6 classes which is 18 credit hours and my girlfriend works about 25 hours as well and isn't currently in school. But long story short I am exhausted a lot and I have very long days and my girlfriend does this thing where she Uhhhh. Likes to talk and complain about her day or her job for hours without stopping. Sometimes I don't know how to handle it because she wants me to be engaged but she doesn't want me to EVER EVER give advice or try to " tell her what to do" but she goes on for hours and just complains and sometimes it's over such simple stuff at her job and I know it bothers her but if I input she gets mad but if I respond in a broad way such as " oh wow" or " that's crazy" she gets mad but today she went on without stopping talking for an hour and 5 minutes. I went to school at 8 Am this morning and then went to school until 2 and then went to work and got off at 8pm and it's hard because I'm so tired and she never ever asks me how my day is ever she never even acknowledges that I'm busy and have my own stuff going on I'm suppose to just 24/7 be her venting "punching bag" and sometimes it's really exhausting. I'm a supportive boyfriend and I love her but I just wish sometimes we could talk about other things and a more open conversation. |

We're gonna call him Rob. That's not his real name but I don't use real names. We were friends since the first day we met. And that was when we were 4-5 years old. We've stuck by one another for all of those years, fights, and all sorts. I'm going to admit that I was deemed attractive in high school, while he was in some other alternative scene I guess and we drifted apart for a few months. And I don't know, just this one day, I found myself sitting near him at lunch, so I thought I'd go over and talk to him and catch up because I missed him. Well, we got started hanging out for about two weeks, and all of a sudden, he starts talking to this girl, and I just got incredibly jealous. So jealous that I came to school angry, and I was getting angry at Rob a lot and I knew he didn't understand what was going on, but I just couldn't hold it in. So many days of going into the bathroom, and crying my eyes out just thinking about him, and I still to this day haven't told him how much I love him. Nowadays, we're graduated now btw, I write love letters to him in my notepad. I see him on a regular basis, and I think I'm pushing him away because I act so awkward around him. I'm scared he won't love me. This is why people b***h at me when I say I have a male best friend. But I want him to be my husband in the future. I'm just stuck. I don't know what to do. He then told me how the lady had been flirting with the last few weeks (he's a friendly guy so some people can think he's flirting when in reality he's just a decent human being). Well as soon as she saw me with him, she visibly didn't seem to be as happy. Fast forward a week, I am back home and I asked him about her behavior. He told me that she still didn't seem back to how she was prior to meeting me. I JOKINGLY texted him "hahaha maybe if we invite her into a threesome she won't be mad" to which he responded "OMG really?! You would be down for that?". I had actually never considered doing one as I actively struggle with low confidence and can be insecure. Prior to this, I had started to see a therapist which was really helping me. Our sex life had never been better and I was feeling more confident. But now, I feel like all he wants is a threesome and while he made it clear that its totally up to me about if, when, and how it would be done, I can't stop picturing him with other girls. From my perspective, even if its up to me whether he even touches another girl, that means he still would want to if I allowed it. I have no desire to be with anyone but him and am really struggling with this. At this point, all of the confidence I started to build is completely shot. Any suggestions? |

I think his usual type looks different to me and that's fine but he should have just gone for someone who was his type then? I just think it's a very mean thing to do. Another guy from an app had been pursuing me for years, I had posted unfiltered videos and photos everyday and videos of me with no makeup which he saw and people tell me I'm prettier in person, I'm not even photogenic. I've met up with 10 guys from dating apps in the past and all asked to see me again. Well when I met up with him he was looking at me like I was repulsive and I don't mean to sound arrogant sorry but I'm considered a good looking girl, obviously not everyone will think I'm good looking and again that's fine but why pursue me for all that time and then when we meet up you're looking at me like I'm hideous?
