I have a friend, let's call her Kelly. She is very possessive and wants me to herself. Sometimes it feels like I am suffocating. She'll bug me all the time to hangout. I know she really likes me but her jealousy is over the top and often makes me uncomfortable. Another problem is that she is very demanding, I get overwhelmed. Further, she's stolen clothes twice before.  Recently, she had a birthday party and I met a friend of hers there (let's call her Mary). We got along fine. Later that year, I had a holiday party and invited both Kelly and Mary. Kelly got upset that I invited her friend Mary as well because Kelly is very jealous. She told me I was stealing her friend (I only contacted her friend once that's it, that's not stealing). I said that I didn't mean to upset her but it's not uncommon for friends of friends to talk to each other. Kelly apologized for using the word "stealing" but she still forbids me and Mary from talking since Mary is "her friend" (as if she owns Mary). I politely told her I disagree, but Kelly told me that I am the one with the problem not her (Kelly thinks she is NEVER wrong in any argument). I find her possessiveness and jealousy over the top and overwhelming. I am considering dropping the friendship. There have had several issues with her in the past (as I mention above) and things always have to be her way, she always thinks she's right and it's overwhelming. Any advice for me will be appreciated.  I'm also still bothered by when she stole my clothes from me twice. She stole a book from someone else before too. I was never able to retrieve my stolen clothes because she "lost" them. Is this friendship worth keeping with so many issues? 

Asked bartender I'm at a regular at if they have any spots available. He said they aren't hiring right now but if something opens up that he'll be sure to reach out to me and that he thought I was a right fit. Later he said if you're a people person you would do good. I asked him about me and he said he thinks I'm a people person. So I'm guessing he would like to hire me, they just don't have space currently right? 

My best friend of 4 years friend dumped me 9 months ago and I'm absolutely heartbroken and miss her so much, but I haven't cried like fully? I've cried 3 separate times about it but I really had to force it out of myself. This sucks I just want to breakdown completely and cry for hours, days, but I can't. It's not like you just get over being in love with someone for 4 ******* years and never being able to tell them how you felt. Sorry if this seems dumb, I'm just an idiot teenager.

I've known this friend for 15 years,since 5th grade. He's always done things like these. While he's single he calls you many times a day,always wants to hang out. Then now he's found a gf and when,after 3 months of not seeing each other I confronted him about it he said ' Yo man,we aren't kids anymore' and it wasn't just me. He stopped seeing all of his friends.I've always considered him a friend but now I think we (friends) were just a way to pass the time before something better came along. That is not friendship in my book. What do you think? What makes me angry is that he just stopped talking to me,not because we had a fight or something..just because now he's got other priorities

Would you still be friends with someone that tells you they have a secret but they won't be your friend anymore if you tell their secret? 

So last night I thought everything was ok with us and we only know each other on discord but anyway she seem to barely talk to me unless I said something she might have considered stupid or having nothing to do with what opinions she has . Also one friend I have with her also blocked me and I never found out why and only last night when I was willing to fix whatever happened. To add insult to injury another friends bf asked them what took them so long to block me. I dont know what to do anymore. Or maybe I should just leave the server all together

These people can hear, can talk, can walk...  I have a disability (deafness), with face deformity... I got a job as a Kmart cashier. I was making good money... and then got an apartment and a car.  It was soooo easy as 1 2 3. Even with Social Security Income SSI.... I can get an apartment....   I just don't understand how people can be homeless. Why are they saying we need to care about them???  Why are they saying we need to stop ignoring them or telling them to get a job? All they need to do is get a job....    If it was so easy for me to get a job, why can't they get a job? Yeah they must be on drugs...   then they need to stop complaining if people pick on them.

They say "oh I still wanna be friends" but then they keep every conversation they have as brief as possible and one person always tries to stay friends more than the other person, always trying to rekindle a friendship, with the other party always rebuffing any attempts at a conversation lasting more than 15 minutes, yet still pretending they are interesting in being friends

I work in a small department of a large company. There are 13 other women in my department. We have a great boss and good friend, Dave. He sees that we are well trained and well paid. Many of us are single moms and Dave will cover for us when we take our kids to school events or to the doctor. Dave has a great sense of humor and he loves it when we joke around with him. How many people reading this can say they enjoy going to work. We do. One day at a staff meeting Joyce ask Dave "would we get a bigger raise if we sleep with the boss"? Dave said I will take your suggestion up with the head of the HR department. I will let you know what SHE thinks of your idea. We ALL had a big laugh at that. Do we have the coolest boss ever?

A friend sold their business - sale is pending- (bed and breakfast inn) and moved out of state. Another friend offered to help pack up things to have shipped to her new home. That was 2 weeks ago. Since then this friend is still going and basically just hanging out , swimming in the pool , spending the night etc. plus inviting other people over to swim. I'm pretty sure the friend that is selling the property did not intend for her to be doing all this. Should I tell her?

My friend and I live on campus at our university, but due to this pandemic, everyone had to move out, except for the students who were approved to stay on campus. (In order to get approved, students had to fill out a form). I got approved to stay on campus, but my friend never filled out the form, so when our housing staff came by to make sure that the "approved" people were the only ones on campus, she got in trouble and was told that she had 24 hours to vacate. Our university is on the east coast, and she lives on the west coast, she plays the harp (which is pretty big. She's a music major), and she has nowhere to go. So I told her to email the housing staff and wait until they give her an approval or denial, before she decides to move out all of her stuff. She ended up moving all of her stuff (including harp) into her truck, and then came crying to me because she had nowhere to go. So I let her stay in my dorm, but she's stressing me out! I understand that this is a stressful time for all college students, but she can't do anything until the housing staff emails her back. She's been at my place for the last two days, and I haven't been able to do anything, because all she wants to do is cry about how she has nowhere to go. I'm also a music major, and taking music classes online is very difficult/stressful, and I'm very behind in my work right now. So, am I a bad friend?

I have this really toxic friend that is so clingy and annoying. We are good friends though and get along well. I don't want to let her go because she said she has no friends and would be lonely. like she is trying to manipulate me or something to stay? She could easily make friends but decides not to. She doesn't even listen to me and when i ignore her she pretends i dont have feelings. Like for example I said, "I need to be alone for awhile." and the next day she says "Can I play with you now?" that makes me very annoyed, and she makes me feel bad. I don't want to have her end up lonely, or damage her. help?

I'm a 14yr old female and I've been very tired and emotional lately. I have been stressed out with school and with my friends. I decided it would be a good idea to take a break from social media so that's what I did but it made me feel worse. I didn't know who to ask for help because I'm too embarrassed to share my problems with my friends/family. Since the outbreak my school is closed so we're doing optional online classes. I haven't participated in any of the discussions but I've done all the work. My friend told me I should do the one for this Monday (March 29) and I told her I would. About 30 minutes ago I tried to download the app but I had a billing problem, she told me it was funny and ironic that I was having issues with it now and made me feel like I was lying about something and that I was a bad friend so I told her I was sorry for not doing it sooner. I also said that I didn't understand how it affected her if I did the online thing. She said it didn't and that she was just looking out for me, the way she messages me makes me feel like she's being sarcastic and that I'm the one in the wrong. I know it sounds stupid but I feel like I needed to include what made me feel upset there are many more things that have happened. I'm sorry for making this so long but I don't really have many friends and my best friend doesn't feel like a friend anymore. This sounds like some dumb teenager stuff and I guess it is but I don't know what to do with my feelings anymore

My best friend is super pretty and she was a gymnast so she has a lot of muscle (she's skinny though) With the muscle though, she gets self-conscious about her weight. I've noticed her starting to eat super healthy at school and has been pretty open about that. My concern started when she was only bringing half a protein bar for lunch everyday, and sometimes she wouldn't even eat that. On Snapchat, she would post things on her private story like this one time , and I quote , " I literally haven't eaten at all today and I'm kinda proud" that made me and some other of her friends very worried.i talked to her about it numerous times both in person and through text but she always tells me she's fine and that I'm thinking to deep into it. Lately, she's been posting pictures of herself after she ran 3 miles on the tread mill. Without school in session anymore, I'm very worried about if she's eating or not and if she's okay. I want to talk to her about it but I'm scared of driving her away or being to persistent. And if there isn't anything wrong at all, I don't want to be looking to far into things. Can anyone help me at all on what to do from here. Do I tell my parents? Do I consult her about it again? I'm at a loss.

Me and my roommate are two males in 20's that are in quarantine in this horrible virus.  He got alot of hand santizers he shared with me . Now I know hands is a must to keep clean but did anyone ever hear of feet santization?  He said since we are barefoot in apt alot we should  after we santize our own hands . I apply foot sanitizer on him then he does to my feet.
