Question: Wedding postponed should we wait till then to get married too ? Posted: 19 Mar 2020 11:57 AM PDT Our wedding was supposed to be this Saturday, but due to this coronavirus it's been postponed almost a year since this venue is fully booked till then. We couldn't cancel as we'd lose our deposits so postponing was the only option. We were contemplating whether it makes more sense to wait till the wedding next year to get officially married, or get married this Saturday in the court house and just have a reception on the date next year. We're leaning a bit toward doing everything next year as it keeps everything together and isn't so awkwardly spread apart, plus some guests don't like going to vow renewals as much as real weddings. But we're really not sure it's hard to make these decisions since we're so heartbroken and sad at the moment |
Question: Should I cancel my wedding in July due to the ongoing virus ? Posted: 19 Mar 2020 07:05 AM PDT Experts are saying this corona virus will continue for 18 months now, and seeing my wedding is in July less than 4 months away, there's a good chance that I'll have to cancel my wedding as it falls well before those 18 months are up. I need advice as I just don't know what to do at this point, I've been waiting 2 years for this and I'm heartbroken |
