So, im going to school in NYC and ive talked to a few people about possibly rooming together. Id rather know who i room with before i get their yknow. but anywhos i feel like the convo always gets carried away and i need to a way to just ask again if someone wants to be my roomie im so lonley lmao.

I've happy for him but C'mon. there's more to life than that! I feel like he just uses me add content to his videos (I'm not flattering myself, just saying he uses me to film and do parkour). I hope this isn't tru tho. I'm still his friend and I hope this is just a phase...  Like I'm happy for him. He's been on youtube for 6+ years and we have stayed genuine friends and he has genuine other friends. But now he's on "the road to 1 million" and all he says when we hangout is "let's grind boys" It's all about HIM. His grades were dropping b4 school ended. how can I show him there's more to life than youtube???  Is he worth staying friends with? It takes a lot of my time to film his videos?? Yeah it's kind of fun sometimes...but seriously, sometimes it's annoying.

Since this whole covid-19 thing has started most of the family in my house have gotten sick expect me and this other roommate i have. I haven t really felt anything or had any symptoms of the virus and it s been that way for most of the quarantine. I do smoke marijuana pretty occasional. so maybe I just can t feel it if that makes any sense? or should i just have nothing to worry about

Ok for years I've been extremely shy and I have a hard time talking to people and making friends. I talk to my 2 good friends on PSN like every single day. I never liked hanging out with people in school my friends would ask me to hang out with them after school and to just chill etc do things kids do. I always made an excuse to not hang out. It's not that I didn't want to it's some weird thing I can't explain like I was to nervous to be around people and friends alone?? If that makes any sense. Im thinking about moving away to downstate with my 2 good friends they invited me to live with them in there apartment. I've known them for years I play COD and games with them like every night. My mom is saying to stay home I want to go but I feel like I need to grow up. But I feel safe being close to my mom and when ever I feel stressed I go see her. She doesn't know it but like whenever I go visit her like it calms me or something just even talking with her for awhile makes me feel good. Hard to explain. My dad Im not to close to he is not there in my life. I still visit him and talk to him. But he doesn't have a job and lives with my grandma basically leaching off her ... This Corona virus stuff has me wanting to quit work I'm young. But I'm extremely scared. Sorry for the long *** post. One time I had to go to the E.R. because I thought I was having a heart attack just panic they said. My mom said she wants me to stay because she knows how my nerves get me super sick. 

Okay so what is happening is two of my closest friends and my roomates tried cocaine about 6 months ago... it scared me I'm and EMT my dad is a private investigator ive heard and seen enough drug stories for it to scare me to death! I tried to talk to them about it and say things I've known to get them to stop and they've said it's only while at parties, on some weekends, rare occasions and ya know you can only argue so much so I was like okay but if this gets worse and you get addicted I'm going crazy on you guys now to today they have kept there word they only do it every once and a while but they still do it and they used to just do it when other people were doing it just use others but then one of them bought some and they still used it slowly but I'm starting to get really worried last night one of them went to a friends house and almost over dosed she told us they were making these huge lines and she just wouldn't say no she hasn't gone to sleep and now she's starting to feel like ahit and my other friend who only did a small line last night just complains about the pain she's in today (mostly stomach aches but I feel like it's related) I just feel bad and worry so much for my friends I want them to stop and my other roomate and I smoke pot but I feel like it's different idk I want blunt answers don't sugar coat it what do I do

I've had this happen a couple of times already. Recently another person told my friend that I've been talking **** about her. (which I haven't). The rumors are never anything "bad" about me, but that I either said something mean/nasty about another person. Why do these people keep trying to get other people against me?

There's this girl that I've been friends with for 4 hrs, were in HS. Last yr she had her first relationship, but the guy broke up with her in september. And he was quiet a jerk about it. She got sad and came to me for advice. I told her to move on and that he was a bad influence, since he's been to juvie before. Since she didn't have many friends, I tried to include her with me and my other friend. Both of us were nice to her and felt sympathetic towards her to help her get over the breakup, we even told her we would avoid him from now on. But, me and my other friend got along well with her ex when they were still together, so I figured we could still talk with him once in a while. A week later me and my friend were talking to him, and my other friend found out about it and got pissed off at us. She said it was because at first we were sympathetic and told her that we would try and avoid him, and that now we were talking to her ex. She still wasn't over the breakup. She also said that we were being awful friends for doing that. Another week later she saw my other friend sitting with him on the bus and she came to me to tell me about it. At this point I was getting fed up with her that I told her to suck it up and that I didn't want to hear it. I noticed she got a bit sad. And whenever she tried to talk to me again I gave her rude responses. Well, now I feel horrible and I miss having her as a close friend. Who was in the wrong? What should I say to her to be friends again?

Earlier today, I discovered that my best friend is still friends with both of my exes that cheated on me. My first ex (who I was with for just over 2 years) cheated on me with someone who went to my old secondary school. And that happened multiple times. My second ex, who I was with for 4 years, cheated on me with multiple women when he went on nights out with his friends. I'm 26, and both of my exes are 28 years old. So today, I discovered that my best friend (or so-called best friend) has been friends both of my exes behind my back ever since I broke up with them. That means she would've been talking with my first ex for nearly 5 years, and my second ex for 6 months. I discovered all this from one of my other friends messaging me. Because of us being in quarantine due to the coronavirus, I couldn't confront her physically. So I Facetimed her and I was angry as hell. She said that she could be friends with anyone that she wants - but I said that people should NEVER be friends with someone's ex who cheated on them, especially those who cheated multiple times. After an argument that lasted about 5 minutes, she ended the call. I haven't spoken to her since, and I don't feel like speaking to her anymore. Am I right to be angry at her?

My little brother's friend is watching Fgeetv ChadWildClay and all that B.S. He also believes Project Zorgo. I tried telling him that they are clickbaiting but he says that they are fun so he doesn't care and continues to watch and like their videos. I also tried telling him that youtube has a lot of servers so it is virtually impossible for them to hack it, but he doesn't understand me and says who cares. HELP!

Someone told one my "friend" (not that close yet) that I told them I though they were stupid. I never said this, but now the guy is upset. Do i try to clear things up? Or just let him decide for himself? Someone told my friend that i said they were stupid***

I angered a close friend of mine by being sarcastic when I should have been genuine, and wish to apologize. I have a bracelet from Disneyland I bought her (she is a huge Star Wars fan and it is from the Starwars land) would that wise or not? This happened today and I also don't know how much time to give her. 

So I have a friend named Chloe, who I just know online, and recently she tried to commit suicide. She shot her self in the neck, but luckily she was brought to a hospital and they saved her. When she got home, she called me and we were talking when I realized that she couldn't remember anything, at all. She cant remember her own name, she can't even remember her family. I have no way to contact her family at all, so I can't just tell them. For some reason she just remembers me, not my name, she just remembers that I am a person. I want to know if there is anything I can do to help. If you need additional information, I will gladly share if it will help. Update: After a day she started to remember things again. Now she has most, if not all, of her memories back.

So me and my friends have been good since 7th grade now it's just awkward between us I'm kinda annoying and loud and pushy. We don't even talk after school. They all hang out without me on PlayStation. I can join but it's awkward for me to talk. They just push over everything I say and I just sit there quietly. They talk over me and I want to be able to hang out with them but it's getting more and more difficult.

i have about 5 real friends and really only talk to them. the other day a "friend" blocked me and unadded me on snapchat because "i said he was obsessed with me" this lead his friend to text me and make fun of me about my insecurities. i pretty much ignored both of them and said i wasn't getting involved plus i didn't really feel the need to save this friendship. i'm getting fed up with constantly dealing with this petty dumb drama when i don't do anything to get involved in it or for it to even be a problem. how do i get it to stop? i'm in 8th grade and done with all the people in my middle school, will highschool be any better? or the same? i'm hoping i can make more real friends. thank you for your time:)

My friends and I have sleepovers every Friday and they're all great it's just this one thing. My friend who will remain nameless does this thing where he licks everyone's but mostly my feet when we're asleep. Even in my sleeping bag he manages to get to my toes. I'm worried he might have a problem but we don't want to hurt his feelings. Any advice on how to approach this?  

Friend of mine messaged me saying she was experiencing fomo from a group I was a part of. Told her she wasn't missing out as it is a small group effort and not anything fun and pointed out something she does with some people that doesn't involve anyone. She then proceeded to call me a smart *** and say she didn't need a point made about fomo and just needed information. Do I respond to this, or is it best just to ignore? Wasn't trying to be a jerk, but apparently I was one. 

My best friend has a female friend(not a romantic partner) who's also his other best friend and they keep getting in fights and arguments and are constantly on and off with each other. I used to have a female best friend to and it was the same exact drama. I'm not trying to be sexist but what I'm wondering is if it's because female friendships are more on and off or have arguments(are they? do they?) that this keeps happening and because the female friend almost considered unfriending him does that mean male female friendships are unhealthy because of their differences?

I have a few classes with this guy, and I noticed him always staring at me, so I thought he was interested. I asked his friend if he was interested in anyone, and his friend told me, "he's not too sure, but he definitely thinks you're cool and nice. He's very reserved, so you'll have to hangout with him more." A few minutes later, he asked me to lunch. Before this pandemic, we were supposed to hangout, but we had to cancel due to circumstances out of our control. So I asked him if he wanted to meet up after spring break, and he said, "possibly, everything's up in the air." *We can't meet up now because we had to go back to our home states* We still message each other, and he hasn't mentioned anything sexual (we've been texting for a month. This is the longest I've ever been talking to a guy w/o him mentioning anything sexual). He's starting to open up and initiate conversations a little more. Last night my roommate (who moved out a month ago), decided to come in and move some stuff around at 1am (I still don't know why) and it scared the crap out of me, because I was home alone, and all I heard was footsteps in my living room. So, I texted him (while this was happening) and he stayed up (through texting) until I felt better/safe. I probably won't be able to see him in person until the fall semester (August). He knows I'm interested, and we used to see each other on campus, he'd always smile and say hi to me, but since we can't see each other physically, I can't tell if he's interested.

It sucks. She did her part and actually tried, but what she wrote is garbage. It's like she hasn't even read the instructions. She takes school very seriously, but she's less of a perfectionist than me, she thinks I obsess over things the teacher won't care about. She'll notice if I change her part, and she's very sensitive, knows she academically sucks but still gives her best. We already fight a lot, I don't want to hurt her feelings, but I also don't want to get a bad grade. What should I do?

I added someone on there, and it used to say "Friends with **** since November 30,  2019" and now it says we've been friends since Feb 1?? Their name still comes up when I type it in under "Friends & Groups", but they're no longer on my custom story? And I can see their Snap score, but it doesn't give show the box that says "Friendships are private" and tells you if you screenshot this page, they'll see it. It just shows their snap score and how long we've been Snap friends. Did they unadd and then re-add me at one point? Or did they unadd me, but I just have them added at this point? 

Whenever I like someone and she knows, I don't know what she says to them but she says something to make them never speak to me again. She then gets together with them behind my back.  I've cut her out my life because I've realised she is no friend. But I can't understand why she would do that? 

I really hate the fact she is copying me, this girl has copied my degree, what car I drive, where I have worked in the past and I'm so sick of it. Now she is copying the course I'm doing. I feel like she has to copy everything I do. I really want to change my course now. Should I, I don't want to be doing the same as her.but I do love my course. I just wish I kept my mouth shut in the first place and not tell her. I'm really gutted.

So i've literally tried everything .To give context to how thin the walls are in my apartment .I can turn on a youtube video at 20 volume and leave my room with my door shut and can still hear the video in the kitchen clearly . I've talked to my roommates about this , they surley know how thin these walls are , I've invested money into nice sleeping ear plugs .And yet I still can't get sleep due to how loud they are .' and my god do they have to have friends over to part everynight especially now with a pandemic going on? It used to be on the weekends , but since our college has  close on-campus classes its just gotten worse, like i have work in the morning and a life to live ...... I feel bad telling them to turn down the volume when they have friends over but like I need to get some sleep , i'm not down to party every night thats just not me .....I feel they should at least respect that .

I'm a 21 year old guy and I recently became online friends with a girl in my town, we have never met in person. We have each other on Instagram and Snapchat. I found out recently she is 17. We are only friends and I truthfully don't have romantic prospect on her, but she wants to meet up with me and hang out. And I don't feel like getting locked up. Am I legally allowed to be friends with this girl who is still in high school?? What are the repercussions for this or should I. Just back out??

I have a female friend i guess she's my friend.  My love ones told me to leave her alone and how she influenced me to become a bad person lying, fighting etc. And in school i would get in trouble a lot and the teachers would always say to my parents please get your daughter away from that young lady she's a bad influence but they didn't notice that in her. Since we met i heard her speaking about me behind my back one day from another female I didn't know and i didn't believe it so i forgave my friend and every since that day i always forgave her up till now we are young adults in college. i haven't posted since February and every time i post something a photo or a video of myself she messages or calls me and my heart races i overthink and I hesitate to answer her i wait it out and think about "what next she has for me to hear or what next she's bringing to the table?"

I ended a very toxic relationship last year, after about 7 years of dealing with it... However increasingly more lately i have been thinking about them daily usually hoping he's suffer or having a bad time. But all i want is to move on and i can't seem to. We do have common friends and occassionally hear about one another. But i have heard he's trying to get a hold of me. Not sure i want to talk to him but at the same time im not forgetting bout them and im not sure what to do... Any suggestions?
