We had a nice friend group, and since 4th grade I've crushed on him. In sixth grade, we danced together at the school dance, kissed, held hands, and went on "dates." People would comment how cute we were and how perfect we were for each other. Anyways, his dad got a new job in Boston area and he left the west coast. We still kept in touch (either just the two of us and our friends chat). We texted a lot. He came back to visit in grade 7 and we hung out and held hands on a walk to the beach. He was so cute (even cuter with braces idk). Then, after 2 weeks, he headed back home. My mom talked to me about how long distance relationships don't always work out, and that it is important to stay friends but maybe I should try dating other guys at my school (if I wanted to). I was also sort of having a crush on this other guy. It is hard not seeing my first crush, except on FaceTime. so I figured I should get to know this other guy. couldn't hurt. he asked me out and idk we dated. I often times do not go out of my way to say hi to him and he gets really mad when I don't. For example he came to say hi to me at a work conference once and he said he couldn't believe I didn't say hi to him yet , so I said sorry i didn't see you. and he sighed really loud and was like "come on!!!" and he looked reallyyyy mad and offended. The last time he was here he ran over to my desk and was hiding behind the wall so I couldn't see who it was and then he jumped out and went in for a hug so i got up and hugged him. when we pulled away he looked down at me and smiled. we talked for a few minutes very casually, nothing flirty about the conversation, but when he was walking away it was like a scene out of a movie. He locked eyes with me and smiled as he very slowly and hesitantly walked away as if he was expecting me to say something else. I just locked eyes back and smiled back. Idk it just felt really intense and flirty. our conversations aren't flirty, it's mainly the way he looks at me. a lot of staring and prolonged eye contact and he also touches me a lot. Not in a sexual way. He usually touches my upper back when trying to get my attention or when trying to make a point. I can't tell if he's doing all of this because he is using me at work since he relies on me a lot for his commission or if he is actually into me |
