i will miss my old friends but I'm scared i won't get new friends bc I'm kinda shy sometimes

So I'm a Californian living in Germany and then Northern Italy (the German speaking part) since about 3 years and within that time I have no made any friends. I made acquaintances here and there and I feel like a bubbly and outgoing person, but at the end of the day, I just don't have any friends to call or any friends I'd feel care if I left to go back to California. I'm happily married to a German and obviously him and I get along, but I just feel like I'm either offending people by doing things I think are kind (like standing up to a teacher, but then being told I should've asked first) or because I have a high value in marriage. I don't know if it's just because German-speakers tend to be colder and more direct and they can't deal with me, or it's just me being sensitive. I have acquaintances and people I think like me, but just not any close friends or people who call me to hangout or just people who don't like me at all. Is it me? Them? Am I just too anxiety-stricken and need thicker skin? 

Long story short, I was made to do things to my guy friend who was 3 years older than me (I was 10 he was 13). I always hear about men or older guys doing things to younger girls but never anyone being abused by someone their own age. It's hard for me to see it as "abuse" and not just him being a curious preteen. And it makes it more confusing b/c he was a good friend.  Anyone have a similar story? Thanks in advance.

Everyone where I go,  people always have me a bad feeling and would try to find an excuse to be mean or bad to me.  They are never friendly to me. Most of the time I just feel ignored like no-one sees me or cares I exist. 

I notice when I go anywhere people just don't care to talk to me or are just walking by me.  No-one even smiles or reaches out to me.  No-one is interested  in building special, meaningful relationships  with me and just don't care. 

Go to this bar frequently. Like we buds I chat with them and all they know me.  Asked if they needed another bartender. He said they're not really hiring rn but if something changes he won't hesitate to reach out to me and said I would be a great fit. Like he thinks I'm a people person like them. That's not bad a sign right. They probably just don't have the money or need to hire anyone new at the moment but if something changes they'll let me know right? 

Long story short this girl I was friends with began being rude and disrespectful to me out of nowhere-I tried everything to understand why this was the case- and tried to settle it out like adults. Months would go by and we would only communicate via group chat with her only talking to my friends and not directly to me. I tried to say hey and start basic convo and she called me high maintenance just for wanting conversation. My friends literally agree with my stance that what she was doing is wrong but want to remain neutral because they see her everyday. I was sick a tired of the cold shoulder and the attitude so I pretended like it didn't bother me and ignored her then she blocked me on everything and ignores me. One of my "friends" Baylee he goes back and fourth between us- basically telling each one of us what we said etc despite telling him I don't want to deal with it anymore he continues to do so. When she insults me he doesn't stick up for me and when they hang out he ignores me too. But he insists hes my friend when its just us. The last straw was that he called me a A word out of nowhere on groupchat and I told him were did that come from and that was so uncalled for. He didn't respond. Then he kept sending memes like nothing happened. He didn't apologize but keeps tagging me and her on fb even though we dont talk. I need advice what to do. Ive been friends with him for 2 years.

My so called bf is a total asshole and has weird thoughts about me, and is just abusive...what can I do? I have no one else who will even talk to me. Im a 31 year old female, and this has been going on for 14 years. Its gone way too far

Getting my new buddy soon and I want a t or c name! I like the alliteration of t for tortoise name but I'm also thinking C because I'm finally getting him due to corona lol (sorry my animals get names based on what they are/why I got them/what's going on with my life example: Attina the guinea pig I got her while playing attina in little mermaid lol) Any ideas?? I like some things but I'm open maybe even Greek because he's a Greek type? Idk have fun with it!  My ideas: ty or tyrant for short Tyrannosaurustortois for long (I think I'm funnier than I am) Or Theo or tucker.

I'm a 21 year old guy and a friend of mine is in town, a 21 year old girl. She is in town, but I can't think of anything good to do because coronavirus. Like everything is closed. Maybe a ride along the beach in my car?? I have nothing..... I could maybe play her a guitar song or two. I want to plan a day, but I want to make sure I have a good idea or she's gonna want to hang with other friends lol. She's coming home from college so I don't get to see her often.

My Mom is a painter. My friend likes her work and asked would she paint his mother (who was sick and dying). As it turned out my mother did the painting just before she died so my friend's Mom say the picture on her deathbed. My mother went to the funeral of my friend's mother (as I live overseas). Apparently, my friend said he would frame the picture and give my Mom the money for the picture (which is a nominal figure for costs). Now it's nearly two months later. My mother is asking what has happened so I've asked my friend did he frame the picture. He replied that the framers is closed due to coronvirus but never mentioned the payment.  I'm getting annoyed as he should have paid ASAP and hasn't made any effort despite my mother bending over backwards to get the painting ready for him.  He mentioned to "tell your Mom" he could collect shopping for her during corenavirus (she's 77) but he never reached out himself - he has her number.  What should I do? I've known this guy for 20 years and none of this surprises me. Despite this I'm annoyed and frustrated. I always make allowance for his bad manners but does he get a pass due his Mom's death and corenavirus? Or is he just a terrible friend and its my fault for putting up with it?

I got a call from my step mother's sister asking for help getting her email. She was a very nice person and I had installed her computer 2 years ago. I readily agreed to help her. I went to her house and found out that her computer had a virus. I loaded an anti virus program on her computer and got rid of the virus. She was VERY happy to get to read her emails again. She wanted to pay me for fixing her computer but I told her I don't charge friends for my help. She said "I REALLY want to pay you for what you did for me". "What can I do for you that you will really enjoy". Every guy reading this knows what thought went through my head when a world class beautiful woman ask you that". However I didn't have the balls to say my thoughts? Guys, should I have? I just told her lets have dinner some time. She said "I don't do sex on the first date". We both had a laugh at that. Then she said "However the second date is a different story". Can I do something that kinky with my step mom's sister?

i've been friends with her since freshman year and now we're juniors, and she used to be so kind to everybody and hug random people in the halls and was affectionate. now, i don't know what's wrong with her.  OUR friends kinda gave her a hard time as a JOKE throughout freshman year & she wasn't having anymore during sophomore year & started causing scenes in class & getting into trouble to the point of even getting expelled. now we're almost done with our junior year & when she came back at the beginning of the year she seemed a little better. she started talking to me again a little more but still wouldn't take a joke ever and now we don't talk hardly at all, & i was her closest friend. she's constantly alone in the halls but when anyone tries to talk to her she says she wants to be alone. i just miss her because i depended on her with my problems because she used to be so helpful but now when i tell her anything she's short with me when she used to go into detail and make a ton of effort to help. she says she's sorry for being short and that she cares and is trying but she can't put any effort in. like why? what changed? i've never really been that mean to her she just got sensitive to every joke, she's short with me, she constantly wants to be left alone, & she always looks mad. i cant tell if there's something wrong with me that makes her short and not want to talk to me or if there's something wrong with her and i feel bad. she's blunt and unenthusiastic to everyone now

(Oopsie I accidently liked a pic of a friend I'm not suppose to contact or have any interaction with on facebook for a couple more weeks on her Facebook athletic page) I unliked it real quick but I know she'll still see it, so now scared she'll be mad at me or think I'm weird for liking that pic (workout clothes). And scared that I just ruined the last 4 months with that 1 like. Well 2, my mom had me like and unlike another pic of her so it didnt seem too weird. I guess I'll find out Monday if she looks at me weird. Maybe she'll forget by then? Think I'll get in trouble with her? Was just about to go to sleep but now I'm too scared about what I did to be able to sleep. Main question is do you think she'll think I'm weird or be mad at me for accidently liking the pic or for liking 2 pics?

The quick run down of my last year or so: i started to make friends last year after being homeschooled until my junior year but our main hobby was smoking weed and driving around. I got a boyfriend who's really nice and also smokes a lot of weed. My parents found out & i was grounded pretty much the whole year because they didnt like my friends, i was having sex, and my grades were dropping (low As instead of high As). finally it got to the point where we were fighting so much i just stopped hanging out with my friends to avoid being grounded all the time and just had my bf. i had a falling out w my dad over the sex thing after i turned 18 and he said if i ever saw my bf again id be kicked out and disowned. we fake broke up but i got caught sneaking around and was kicked out for about a day. during that time both of my brothers texted me & told me to go **** myself and that they hated me for getting kicked out. when i got home i told my mom that they both smoke weed among other drugs and they mildly got in trouble but it completely broke our relationship. months later my mom made them promise to act like a family and its been kind of better but i still feel disconnected from my family except my mom. I never go out, dont see any of my friends, still secretly dating my bf because he's all i have outside of my mom even though the whole situation made me not want to be w him anymore. I'm taking a gap next year so i feel like i ruined any chance i have of making friends in life

I know this guy who stabbed someone multiple times over a women. He went to prison and is now released. He was a decent friend but seemed like he had a jealousy anger problem. Mental issues like depression. I have decided to move on from old friends. This guy had 2 kids and about 2 years later after he got out the mother commuted suicide. She was only 33 and he is 34. He goes to prison for stabbing someone then she commits suicide. Yet I still see old friends hang out him. I had to move on

My friend is 23 years old, and is currently going through some money trouble. He said he can't afford rent so me and my roommate kindly suggested that he can move in with us when our lease is up in a couple months so rent will be cheaper for all of us. My problem is that he is extremely lazy, complains about everything, is horrible with his money and smokes weed all day.  Would I be a bad person if I told him I don't want to live with him unless he gets his sh*t together? I know some people can function while on marajuana but he is not one of them. He's in collage right now but has been for 4 years getting a "general studies" degree and when I ask him what his plan is he alway say "I don't know"  I want to have a talk with him before we move in together because I'm a big believer in that we are who we surround ourselves with. I feel like he would just be dragging me down with him if I see him with his bong chillin on the couch consistently.  Should I tell him to grow up or is that not my place? 

I hang at home with my roommate and I worry I sometimes drive her crazy because I'm so bored. What can I do to avoid this? 

He takes conference calls on a speaker phone at 7 in the morning disturbing my sleep. His justification is that it's not during quiet hours. But he loiters and talks to other roommates during quiet hours disturbing my sleep as well. He eats other people's food (He doesn't dare to eat mine because I yell at him and insult the crap out of him) He doesn't do the dishes(Again, I insult him and yell at him) He leaves clothes in the washer and dryer (I yell at him for that too) He's told me that I've said things that are harsh but I he's a sleazy idiot so I do not feel bad. I feel bad that I think about him when I am so much more ahead in career and education wise. Because it's more lucrative for me because I have a lot of good things going on in my life. He likes to push and step into other people boundaries and test patience because he's a loser who does sales while I study engineering. When I insult him such as when I called him that he's a fkn a**hole and a sleazy scumbag that society does not need and worst roommate I ever had, does he feel bad? I hope he does. No mercy to lazy and sleazy unethical people. I don't insult him for a reason, he's sleazy and lazy, tries to get other people to take care of his responsibilities and it's not even asking for a favor. He tries to look like taking his responsibilities as a huge favor then makes ridiculous demands. He makes sales people look bad because he's a sleazy unethical loser salesman himself.

If she wasn't so damn far away I'd break that shitttt in half and set the damn packs of cigarettes on fire!!!! I know she's going through a lot but she's not old enough to die she's been abused most of her life she doesn't know what its like to be treated right by a man and I'd date her if I wasn't a gay man.

My employer says I have comprehension problems, they get on my case about this, they get on my case about that, I can never win. My boyfriend dumped me, I don't have a car or a cat, etc.  Like, if I'm so stupid, why did my employer hire me? What does that say about them? Why do I have a side job working for the government? Talk is so cheap!!! How do I deal?

when they get mad at you they would express a violent outburst to getting physically violent at worst. If they get mad they would viciously yell and get in your face and personal space and start moving their head towards your face shouting in your head and telling you off. If you try to say something back they would shout "SHUT THE H E L L UP!" right in your face. Roll their head and tell you where to go and how fast to get their not giving room for reason or rationalizing. I mean they don't know normal or casual mad attitudes?
