Question: Friend or acquaintance? ? Posted: 15 Mar 2020 05:47 PM PDT This person always returns texts almost immediately in most cases, and sends long answers to my texts sometimes longer than my texts. When we get together have a strong personal connection. This person even commented that they feel very comfortable talking to me. Once was an acquaintance but I think becoming a friend. What do you think? |
Question: How would you feel if your best friend did this? Posted: 15 Mar 2020 03:08 PM PDT Okay so I've been friends with this girl for a longgg time like the best of friends we told each other everything we wouldn't go a day without talking. She got married 1 year ago and after that we weren't connected to each other as much. And we both respected that she was busy with married life and I was busy at work. But whenever we do connect it's almost as if we never stopped talking. So I still consider us close and best friends. So she had gotten a miscarriage as soon as she got married and was there for her when she went through that. But now I find out from social media that she's 4 months pregnant and she's having a gender reveal and I knew nothing of this. I feel mad that she didn't tell me cause we tell each other everything and when I say everything I mean EVERYTHING!!! So how would you feel if your best friend did that to you? Do you have a right to get mad? Should I say something to her about it? Or should I just let it go and just congratulate her ? I just feel like that's effed up what she did, that she didn't tell me, cause if it was me she would be one of the first people to know!! Also to add we consider each other SISTERSSSSSSS!!!! |
Question: Does it mean that she wants to be like someone who doesn't have any social media or no? Posted: 15 Mar 2020 01:07 PM PDT Okay so the other day I found my friend who I haven't seen in a long time and she wrote a post on her profile page saying Always in between wanting To post a lot on social media & wanting to delete all social & be like that person you went to school with that you think of randomly & hope they're doing well. |
Question: Was this guy a nut case? Posted: 15 Mar 2020 10:43 AM PDT I went to my high school reunion and a classmate Wanda introduced me to her husband Joe. Later Joe got me alone and asked me if I had dated Wanda. I told him yes when we were in high school. Then he asked me if I had screwed her. I truthfully told him NO and got away from him as fast as I could and avoided him the rest of the reunion. That guy is a psycho. Talking to my other male classmates, I found out Joe had asked them the same thing and they did what I did. They got away from him and avoided him as much as possible. None of us want to have anything to do with him EVER. We were discussing whether to tell Wanda what her husband was doing or not. Wanda is not a friend to any of us. She is just someone we went to high school with. I know if we told her, she would be very embarrassed and telling her might cause her marital problems so none of us said anything to her. Please tell me if you think we did the right thing about this situation. |
Question: Apparently my dad is attractive.? Posted: 15 Mar 2020 10:14 AM PDT My dad (who is in his fifties) is a personal trainer and thus has maintained an impressive physique. I have always been aware of this, but my friends make more and more comments about thirsting over my dad. It was all in good fun at first, but now I've become uncomfortable. How do either get my dad to stop walking around the house shirtless or get my friends to stop being so horny for him or both? |

Question: I lied to my online best friend about my age, she is traveling to see me tomorrow.? Posted: 15 Mar 2020 04:21 AM PDT I lied to my online best friend about my age, she is traveling to see me tomorrow, I told her I'm 21 when I'm only 15, I didn't think I'd be friends with her for very long. I can't bring up the courage to tell her. Do you think she would know about my fake age if we met? How can I seem older to avoid that? Please help I'm really nervous to meet her also I don't really look 15 I look older if anything |

Question: What am I supposed to do? Posted: 13 Mar 2020 07:37 PM PDT No school for 2 weeks and I can't really leave my neighborhood and my mom wont let me see friends |
Posted: 13 Mar 2020 01:11 PM PDT I want to make new friends. I am in my early 20s and I cut off old friends for toxic reasons. I want a new circle of friends, but don't know where to start.I don't go to school, and my work doesn't have the greatest of people to socialize with. |
Question: How to convince my parents let me stay home alone for a day ? Posted: 13 Mar 2020 07:11 AM PDT Hi so I'm 15 and I'm trying to get my parents to leave me alone for a day so I can chill with a girl and maybe a friend or 2. Both my parents know I smoke and don't allow it so that's one of the big reasons they don't really trust me alone. If anyone has any tips or some good input I'd really appreciate it because I want to sound responsible to them. Thanks Ok **** y'all I didn't ask for judgement I asked for help. Who said I'm not responsible just because I smoke? Y'all are the dumbasses fr Im referring to weed and not cigarettes |
Question: Does this person sound like a friend? Posted: 12 Mar 2020 05:05 PM PDT How much would you care about someone to arrange to meet with them (travelling 40 minutes on the Underground to get there) and spend six hours with them - firstly having lunch with them and then visiting a museum with them? Do you think that the person who did this and met with me is a friend? (I have Aspergers, so struggle to interpret things socially) |
Question: If someone cheats once will they do it again? Posted: 12 Mar 2020 03:37 PM PDT I understand people can change. But I was having this discussion with my friend and I just feel like they're going to do it again. I don't see the point of staying. But my friend thinks everyone cheats and we should just deal with it. Thoughts ? |
Posted: 12 Mar 2020 05:23 AM PDT I worked at a pool hall from '03 to '05 and had absolutely no problem with the co-owner. On my last day, I approached the front desk to say goodbye to him, but he was on the phone and therefore distracted. So I whispered my regards & shook his hand. 10 minutes later when I got home, he called to apologize for somewhat ignoring me, which I completely understood. Then he wished me well, as I had his undivided attention to do so. Next year, he called to ask if I want to fill in for an employee who called out. So even though I had a job, I gladly accepted and did my old job for one night while getting to see him & old friends/co-workers. Months ago, I requested him on Facebook. I know he remembered me, because we have a lot of mutual friends (employees from pool hall). But he deleted my request the other day. Is it possible someone spread bad rumors about me? I don't understand. I loved working there, but simply was ready to move on with my life. I'm not a Facebook addict by any means, but am just confused about why he didn't accept my request. FYI... - The pool hall went out of business about 4 years later. Does he feel that we didn't have much of a connection, since I was long gone by the time they shut down, thus not present for the bittersweet goodbye? - He has 325 friends, so it's obvious he doesn't just want CLOSE friends on FB. |
Question: How can I make friends online? Posted: 11 Mar 2020 03:29 PM PDT I really want someone to chat with online, but I don't know where to look. I tried Omegle, but that was a big mistake.... |
