Question: How do I incorporate my faith into my wedding? Posted: 18 Mar 2020 05:53 PM PDT I was raised in a Lutheran Christian household. I am now a firm believer in the Advaita philosophy, most commonly associated with classic hinduism. I want to incorporate my faith into my wedding. I have studied the ways in which traditional hindu weddings are carried out. I want to do a 'fusion' using aspects of a traditional American wedding and that of a hindu ceremony. Would this be odd (or even appropriation?) as I was not born into a hindu household and I am not Indian nor is my fiance? |
Posted: 18 Mar 2020 10:48 AM PDT I am devastated. We have 77 guests coming. It is in St. Michaels, Maryland. Do I have hope? Will this likely be passing after 8 weeks and I will be okay even if not all 77 come? Honeymoon in Colorado. Will travel still be shut down in 3 and a half months? I have heard everything from this lasting 4-6 weeks to this lasting until end of next year 2021. |
