My mom has had an array of problems thrown at her during life, as she is an immigrant and a single widowed mom. But, she has helped me grow up to be the best I possibly can. But, she has a mean, dark side to her. Half of the time I am only allowed to sit at home and study, I'm never allowed to go to friends houses (God forbid I ask to go to a sleepover), and she yells at me all the time. Recently we got into this fight about how I really didn't want to take this online course but she forced me, and then she proceeded to yell at me, saying things like she wishes I was never born, and the day I was born was the worst day in her life and she wished she had just killed me right then and there. She's also really protective, so I'm only allowed to be at school, home or sports (and even then she comes and watches me practice). These days she has been forcing me to do things that I have spoken against, but she says that I'm only a child (I'm 17) and I am a worthless, good for nothing waste of air. Please, please help. Also, because of these things said to me, I've been feeling suicidal and I can't talk to anyone, because my mom monitors all of my conversations. Thank you!

She's 78 years old. I do have a disability, but she acts like I can't take care of myself. She treats me like I am 12 years old...   I do know how to handle money. She thinks after I died...   I will sell the house and live somewhere else.  And she thinks I will spend the $100,000 inheritance on a film...  and waste some money on making film...   She thinks that I am that stupid. Yeah I made a $20,000 short film and it didn't go anywhere... But I got that money from McDonald's lawsuit. I am on Social Security Income...  and I can get Section 8...  and I will do fine in life. So I am taken care of... by the government. I don't know why she thinks I should just stay in one place forever... and not live in another state. I ever hardly see the cousins and other family members anyway. I'll be alone anyway. Is there some way to reassure her or to get her to trust me that I will be fine after she died?

The one aunt says this is very real and we haven't seen this kind of danger in our whole lives the other aunt is from the other side my family but knows her says this is all mass hysteria by the media and all it is is a flu that the elderly have to be careful of. Which aunt should I take sides with? My parents require me to take sides in family feuds?

Please dont judge😕 .I am 17 . So I have a 16 month old daughter. I had gotten pregnant by a one night stand 😔 I regret it till this day. I was at a party , drunk , didnt even meet the guy just slept with him. We never exchanged words or anything. Unfortunately i had a baby. I dont want anything to do with him but i understand i have to deal with him seeing my daughter being in her life etc. i dont know him, dont know who he hangs around with , dont know where he lives , nothing.  i really dont  trust him. He seen my daughter a couple of times but not as much. He wants do be in her life and i get that😞 its only right i let it be. Only for my daughter because she deserves to be in his life. He wants to take her and spend time with her on weekends. I fear letting go of my baby to him w/out knowing what will happen😭 I am afraid. I dont want to share my baby guys💔 im not used to letting her go to no "Man" but this is her father. He shows he has good intentions but its just im having a hard time getting used to her being with her other parent😔💔 I know its the best for her but I am heartbroken and this process is so hard to deal with right now. I cant keep him from seeing her cause it is not right. I know what it is to not have a father growing up and i would never want my baby to go through something similar especially it being my fault .🥺what can i do to remain calm ?💔💔💔

My older sister is very rude and so is my little sister. 

She bullies me and I think her and her two friends that are here because of the flu virus stole my clothes as a prank but now I have nothing to wear but underwear. I'm 16 so too embarrassed to walk downstairs in my underwear. Their downstairs as well as my mom and aunt and cousin. Her friends are all here because of this flu pandemic at schools are closed for a week

I live in one and I feel a bit ashamed when someone asks about my family

We have our own one and use ut once a week and we are all naked. Is this odd? I'm 15M and they are 36F and my dad is 37M.

She smothers me one minute and is super nice, cooks for me, then if anything bad happens she gets all dramatic if I dont want to hear her venting on me. We are both poor, but a team together. We have wild dogs rescued that are hard to train, and the place is such a mess. I feel like we get along better with time apart. Right now I'm injured though and its reduced our income. Theres drama sometimes, but mainly jealousy in my opinion from people on facebook and around here? It's hard to explain.  She tells me to stfu all the time when shes mad, and I feel like that's verbal abuse. Like my fiance is kind of a screw up and has really bad adhd. I live her though. 

When I was younger my dad would yell at me and tell me I didnt deserve things, and would scream at me, while cussing me out. I get anxious when people use profanity. My dad would also tell me he would make me cry. The list could go on forever. My mom would leave us. While my dad would be screaming at me my mom wouldn't stop it, just watch, and then tell me it would make it worse if she stopped it. She also would leave us at a relative's and not tell us she wouldn't be back until the next day. She stole our money and would lie saying that we spent it, when we didnt. I have trust issues now. Was I emotionally neglected when I was a child?

Today my mom and I got in an argument over the coronavirus because she was saying that bill gates created it and I told her he didn't and she pulled out her tablet and was like I'm going to look for the article i read several years ago that he funded it and she kept blabbering about it and never showed me what she was reading. And I told her he didn't create this and she contradicted herself saying he didn't make this one but he funded an old one some years ago and said she was looking at it on her tablet.  And she was like you need to work on your study more, then told me not to use an authoritative voice with her.  And I told her that she uses it with me a lot in conversations and she said "yes I do" "and I am authoritative as well" and she started grinning and laughing. Then she was like you all ways have yourself fixed on what you think is correct. And I mean she's been treating me like this since I was a child. And I checked for myself online he funded and institution that worked on an unrelated coronavirus some years ago but not this one. And he is helping now by trying to find a cure for what's happening. My mom always read old things and think it's always related to what's happening now.   And also after I was walking away from her she said "when all of this is still happening months from now and I only have things to eat remember who was correct about Bill Gates and the virus"

Ok so i live with a couple. A man & his lover (girl). They are both 67 & they took me into their home for me to have a better life. I help him with his yard & help with his woman as she has scoliosis & he has told me he needed to talk to me & said he contracted prostate cancer but got rid of it. He told me he wanted me to be apart of his family as he doesn't associate with his family. So his girl (which is 67 also) is retired from being a "nurse anesthetist" & he is a successful car salesman. He talked to me the other day & we got to talking & he said "where do you think all my assets will go when i die" & i said "to your family"? He said "no they have plenty of money" & said "me & my girl have no kids & money in the bank & assets" so he was implying that I would inherit it? Is that possible as I'm not related to either of them? His woman isnt his wife just his girl. So anyway is this possible? Wouldnt assets go to their families & not me? How does this work? Thanks!

This lady that came to the door this morning looking for my dad, I told her he wasn't here she go on accuse me that he is here. I never seen her before and she treated me like crap. when I worked at that job 8 months ago most of them treated me like crap. When my sister worked at that hospital as a lunch surver everyone liked her. My little sister that's still in school is popular. My mom told me she had a lot of friends and all the boys liked her. Everyone respects my dad so why I gotta be the only hated person.

My fiance won't give me our daughters social security number, I have to ask multiple times and she acts like she's always busy to stop and give me her social security number, I do take care of my daughter since she was born financially and physically but she takes care of her more being that she lives with her right now because we don't got our own place yet, at my old job when I needed it for paperwork she gave it to me but she added along "oh you just want to claim her" When that wasn't the case I needed it to fill out paperwork at my job even if I wanted to claim her what's the problem I'm her dad and note I never claimed her yet since she's been born my fiance claimed her this year and last year my fiance's mother claimed her I never claimed her ...... also which father doesn't have their child's social security unless the baby mother doesn't want him to...but anyways everytime I ask she said she will give it to me but I have to keep asking when I go over to see them I left one night and she's said I'll text you it when you get home and she hasn't she acts like she's always busy with something any input? 

I was supposed to move into a spare bedroom at my aunts house as soon as I could legally move out at 18 due to never ending family issues and very limited space at my parents house. I tried moving out against my parents wishes at 17 but they called the police and made it impossible every time. Now that I'm of legal age, I can't move in because my younger brother who is 14 is planning on moving in. He is 14.... I'm 18. pls tell me how that makes sense :\. He made suicide threats but he was only doing it for attention and to get his way. This hurts me because I was the one who was actually suicidal under wraps. Now I don't know what to do... I can't stay here for much longer, I'm concerned about my well being, mentally. I just need some reassurance or advice idk anything will help.

Part of me wants to get a group pic of all my step kids with my husband, their mom and her husband at the kids tball. Part of me doesn't. We all 4 get along and I asked my husband twice about it and he says I'm obsessing about it. Now I'm not so sure I want to. I asked him if it was okay with him and not sure if I need to text the mom and ask her. What should I do? Should I forget about the picture or ask about it? We will also have matching parent shirts as well. A part of me also feels weird about it and thinks I shouldn't even do the picture.

I took her in for just a normal check-up, was very upset to hear that she's in her 230s now, at only 14. My husband and I never really told her " no", a huge huge mistake on our part, so, she's always been able to just eat whatever. This was eye-opening for us both. Our daughter believes nothing is wrong and that my husband & I trying to help is annoying and useless. We've tried warning her of what could be her future, but, she doesn't care and claims to feel okay. Why is she not worried?

My parents never went out of their way to explain how to pay bills,   rent an apartment or asked me   about potential career-paths. Then,   they wonder why I never know how   to do anything.   I thought parents are supposed to give life-lessons, every step of   the way.   Your thoughts?
