I've noticed that everytime I show my sisters some of the hot girls I've been on dates with, they make rude comments about them or try to put them down in some way. But when I show them girls I went out with who I considered to be less attractive, they say things like "she's pretty", or "you should ask her out again." Could someone please explain what's going on? I am so confused

Ok so I want to make clear that I was a idiot when I first turned 18 and was sexting any random guy off tinder so I could feel validation and looking back I want to kick my teeth in. This particular incident took place no longer than 3 months after turning 18. I was sexting this one guy on snap he sent me a dick pic and (I have ocd so I worry about what I'm thinking or have been thinking all the time and so I don't remember what I was thinking obviously) and only knowing two guys and having seen there ***** I assumed that it was average size and thought nothing of it (my ocd is saying that I thought I was small and I didn't care which scares me) but the big surprise was that I found out while going through his snap story that HE WAS 14!!!!!!! Immediately I was like WTF (side note I also have pedophilia ocd which is when I fear that I could be a pedo so you can imagine how much writing this out and reliving it is making me shake and nauseous right now :,-) ) I blocked him and started worrying "did I see his age on his profile and not care? Did I forget? Did I sext a 14 year old on purpose?" I had to just take a break writing this to curb the nausea and shaking. I obviously regretted it then and I still do now and I tell myself the fact I'm always like this when I think about it means I didn't do it on purpose. I know though that's faulty logic. How can I just let it go. It's torturing me daily and I want to know if I should allow myself forgiveness or not. Please help me.

A few weeks ago, I went on a date with this chick I met on tinder. We grabbed drinks & talked for two hours. It seemed to go really well. We laughed, made great eye contact, & she told me multiple times that I looked even hotter in person. When the date was over, we hugged & she immediately asked if we could do it again. We've been texting since, but when I tried to set up a second date a few days ago, she ghosted me :( I don't know if I should blame myself or if this girl is just weird. Before we met up in person, she said that she's been single for like 5 years because she's really picky. She also said that she's been on like 60 dates with guys she met online, & that she kept a journal of all their names & information. I thought this was kinda weird at the time, but said what the heck & went on the date anyway.  Should I feel bad that she ghosted me, or should I not care because she maybe has mental problems? What do y'all think? 

My ex sort of recently broke up with me. We were together for roughly a year and a half. He wasn't the best boyfriend, but I did love having someone there to hold me and occasionally compliment me. I am a hopeless romantic. I want to get married and be with one person for the rest of my life. But here's my dilemma: I am just so unbearably lonely I am really considering doing drastic things. Even I don't know what I mean by this, I would never EVER consider taking my own life, but... I don't know. I have ZERO friends outside of work, the only people I have are my family. And I'm in a situation where it is extremely hard for me to meet people, even to make new friends. And I really hate my job so that's just another part of my life that I'm sick of. I'm only twenty years old—I really shouldn't be feeling this way, at least I don't think. What can I do to feel better? I'm overweight and so I am trying to have that stage where I "focus on me" by dieting and doing things I enjoy, but even that is starting to get tiring. Is there anything else I can do besides live my life until I meet the one? Sorry to sound so depressing, I just really could use some advice. Thank you very much.

I need an outside opinion. When a man says, "I trust you, but not them," what does that say to you?  Backstory: me and my best friend are having a girls night with some friends this Saturday. My friend M insisted we go to the local bar, since it is her last weekend she'll be able to go out and have fun for awhile (due to financial reasons lol,) and my boyfriend is upset because he found out he wasn't invited... because it's a girls night. He feels uneasy because other men are going to be there, (though I've reassured him that I would never do anything to be unfaithful,) he keeps saying ^that above^ in regards to so.  I am personally insulted by that phrase. I don't feel like he trusts me. And even if he "does," I see it as an insult. I see that it's him implying my opinion, that my "no," my rejection is meaningless. I feel like he sees me as vulnerable and weak, when I'm anything but.  I don't want to be close minded on the issue, which is why I'm asking for other opinions. I really, really like this girl in my class. She seems really smart and sweet. I want to ask her out, but I have no idea what I should say. Sometimes I see her in the hallways. From time to time I'll see her stowing her books at her locker, hers isn't near mine, but I'll see her in passingby when I'm on my way to class. I wouldn't feel comfortable approaching her at her locker, and I'm not sure if she would feel comfortable with me approaching her while shes at her locker. I don't want to be too aggressive or too desperate but I do want to ask her out. I'm trying to find the perfect balance. I've also seen her waiting for her first period, but we only share third period together. But I should mention in the class we have together, when she enters the room its really tender and warm. I want to ask her out when shes waiting for her first period, but I still wouldn't know what to say. But I'd still feel more comfortable asking her out while shes waiting for class than when shes at her locker. What should I do? I find her really attractive.

Well for the most part I always try to treat everyone kind. Sometimes I might not want to do something but will do it anyway if it will help somebody out. So my thing is with the girls I like I do this too, and I tend to not joke around with them too much at the beginning even though I'm a joker/goofy at heart, but I'm told that I can be mean sometimes even though I'm joking. I should also say I'm a homebody, so I don't go out and party and whatever, but I do go to the movies, travel occasionally. It takes a lot for me to ask a girl out, but I do when the time comes. So when I'm pursuing a girl I kind of hold back certain things, I try to tell her about myself and ask about herself, and I joke a little. I should say that even though I try to make conversation, it's an area that I'm horrible with due to not really like talking much. Another thing I tend to do a lot for the girl I like, things I know well at least thought a girl would like from someone she would be interested in.  I might get a date here or there, but they ultimately go after other guys. Which is rough, especially when you see the girl and the guy she chose everyday. The reason I say it's rough, is that I always see them and wonder what did I do, or what's wrong with me why she didn't want me (all I do is just accept it and keep it moving). So I don't know what I am doing wrong and how to fix it. If someone can help me out.  I just feel like I am destined to be alone for the rest of my life.

So I'm buying an apartment with my roomate. Today we went to the apartment manager building and we were talking with her for a while. I hate everything about myself.. I hate who I am and aren't. I hate how ugly I look.. I am a girl and have too much fat, have never had a boyfriend, have never been kissed and guys NEVER find me attractive, no guys have approached me.. and I don't have any friends and idk why.. So there's this guy I like in class. I'm a teacher assistant intern (not real teacher at all) and he's a student. He's 20 and I'm 30. I know the age difference might be a problem, but after asking people on here, I figure why not. I think he likes me too. He always smiles at me in class and last week he sat with me at lunch and we talked a lot, and still do in class! :) There were other open seats (2 people can be seated at each table with 4 tables in all) but occupied with one other person each, and he chose mine! I was literally just told by a friend not to long ago that my feet were manly. I feel self conscious about something silly. I am taller than most girls my age so in a world where girls are pretty and seen attractive as " small " i do not fit in it feels like. I would really like honest opinions. It's like so many people still enjoy instantly painting out every scenario as man: horrible person, women: poor victim without reading into the situation. But with regard to regular conflicts involving a man and a woman, I've been in a handful of these in my lifetime where people not only have unnecessarily involved themselves but they've taken the woman's side and painted me out as the bad guy without taking time to listen to what actually occurred, or my side whatsoever and they weren't even friends/family members. Men and women do it. Why is this?

I dated him for almost 7 years and my ex is out of this country. Things ended very badly between us and he ended up quitting his job of 20 years and moving back with his parents with not much to his name. I am addicted to his emotional love he has for me at times, but usually it was him yelling at me about how I lacked certain characteristics or he found me too ambitious with my career or interests. Somehow we had fun at times but I still couldn't commit to him which was moving in together and saving our  incomes, but he wouldn't give me an official marriage because he thought traditional marriages are scams.   What's even  more pathetic is I met a great guy, everyone likes him unlike my ex. We hit it off from the start and we've been dating for a few months but we are in our 30s. He's perfect to me in so many ways, he treats me so well, I laugh all the time with him, he makes me feel happy but I still crave something about my ex. I am not sure if it's the drama and constant fighting every day but this peacefulness is different to me. I still talk to my ex almost every other day. I would be mortified if both parties knew but in particular this guy. He tell me 'I am the one' and he is able to give the family and dream I wanted, but I am still addicted my ex. I can't even tell my friends because they would be so disappointed with me as they think I have finally moved on. What do I do? I am always going to keep looping over in this thought process? 

I think I am pretty even though I don't always feel pretty. I get compliments sometimes a girl last week called me pretty and a couple weeks before that a lady said I should model.  im a freshman in college so I compare myself a lot. I'm skinny and I have a friend and she's overweight. Now I don't think she's ugly but I don't think she's the prettiest either  she has an awesome personality and it's annoying because sometimes things will happen for her and it'll make me a little jealous. Plus today she ordered a Starbucks drink and the guy drew a heart at the end of her name but that could have been nothing. and we were talking to our apartment manager and she showed her her id and said how ugly it was and the manager was like "still pretty though"  like I said I'm not a hater and the girls not ugly but she's not beautiful either and she's overweight. I honestly don't understand how all this happens. I get more physical compliments from people and more real life attention from guys but still  how is all this happening? Am I overthinking? And if it is because of her "looks" why dosent this happen to me because I'm pretty too

Ive been seeing this guy for about a month casually. We met in early January, had one date then he ghosted me. a month later he contacted me and we went out for dinner on valentines day and then hung out the following weekend. We had made plans to see each other the last week of February but he went on a trip for work. I offered to get him from the airport and he said he'd let me know. (he never did) upon doing so he never "opened" my message that was from four days ago. he works in the same building as a friend of mine, and he was able to tell me this guy was back at work today. I let my friend know the guy im interested in hasn't even open the message. My friend was able to let me know that when he walks into the guy's Im interested in department, he's always on his phone. I haven't reached out to this guy and at this point Im not sure if I should. Im afraid he's going to ghost me again. Even after he had asked me to create a painting for him- which I stupidly completed.  Thoughts? A burning question I have aside from all this, why would he restart this only to end up ghosting me again, after I told him I didn't appreciate  it the first time. :c I also forgot to add, he constantly looks at my snapchat story. He's usually one of the first people to view it.

So, I love my long distance GF, and we ve been together for a couple months, but she clearly doesn t trust me. I am a very transparent man. I told her I was texting a female classmate the previous night, so she got mad. I then sent her screenshots of the whole convo and was still mad. I broke up with my gf and out of spite she posted on social media how she wish she chose this one girl over me,"the one whom shattered her heart". She tried to get our relationship back and she said she posted it out of spite and that girl will always be in her life because they made a connection..  They've kissed in the past..  I'm not a lot to be friends with anyone I've liked or dated in the past.. but she is... 

So, my boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years and we live together now. He was super clingy and protective over me during the early stages of our relationship and of course as time goes on you get more comfortable etc. we have been in a very serious and loving relationship for 3 years now, and I have NEVER had any reason to not trust him. The other night, I found a message on Snapchat (on his phone) where he was talking to this old friend of his from middle school (which he "dated" in middle school). He was asking her if she remembers why they broke up and having like normal conversation, and then he told her that she's "been looking good." And that really surprised me to see. She asked him "don't you have a girlfriend?" And he said "yes i was just complimenting you" and the conversation pretty much ended at that. I freaked out at him and told him I was very hurt. He said he felt terrible and that he really meant nothing by it... and I believe in my heart that he didn't mean anything by it. I'm just shocked that he said that in the first place... when we first started dating he would get jealous if a guy commented on any of my Instagram posts and now he felt the need to compliment this girl on Snapchat? It felt wrong for me to read that. He apologized and said he will not do anything like that again and I forgave him, but I'm not going to lie I'm still hurt. Am I over reacting?
