He tells me things like im perfect, that we were made for each other, and he told me once that I was the best thing in his life. We aren't dating because he is in the military and i live 5 hours away going to college, we both agreed that it better for us to just not date right now. I know what it seems, like its a waste of time and we might as well but we just dont want to. Its a complicated situation. But recently we got into a argument, I basically got upset because he doesnt seem to put in the effort to keep me around and that he was willing to let me go. He says that theres no point in continuing this and that its just gonna hurt me, that im just gonna move on and he is used to people leaving. Then he asked me why I was trying so hard to stay when theres no point. I told him he doesnt know the future and to take it one day at a time. He told me that he wanted to be alone, that he likes spending time with me but doesnt feel like talking to anyone or do anything, he is really depressed because of the navy and feels hopeless. I got into their car and maybe 2 mins later at the corner of my eye I saw him walk 30feet in front of the car while making eye contact and then he just left. Because leading up to my finals (in college btw) I didnt really say much to her for 2 weeks and she felt as if she wasnt a priority in my life, even though she is a priority and I simply was just studying all day everyday going into finals week. I thought she was being a little crazy and insecure because I let her know I wouldnt be talking much for those two weeks because finals, but that things would be back to normal right after. But she felt really hurt at that time and felt like I put school WAY above her. I do value school more than her rn and she has always known that since we started dating in highschool (it's my decisive, guaranteed future career vs her who could possibly leave me one day). But I still value her and she is a priority to me and I love her. But she didnt like how I treated her and we broke up and gave each other space, but she reached out saying she really misses me and loves me, and still sees a future with me. But she said she just doesnt feel ready to date me because she is scared to trust me in fear that I might make her feel that way again like our first time through. I understand the where communication could be better, and I will be better by taking time out of my constant studying to talk to her, because school isnt my whole life. We never really talked much till about three weeks ago. We ran into each other on a weekend when we were out, he was drinking but I was not because I had practice the next morning. I had to leave early so nothing happened, we didn't kiss and weren't really handsy, but he was definitely shy and flirty. I didn't get his snap or number either. But since then we have seen each other around campus a lot and have waved, smiled, and talked a decent amount. My roommate confirmed that he has a crush on me, but the kicker is that he has a girlfriend of 3 years. They both go to different colleges though and are in a long distance relationship. I am starting to really like this guy, but I know that is wrong because he has a girlfriend. Apparently, he cheats on his girlfriend and hooks up with other girls a decent amount, so he doesn't seem to be really loyal to her. I keep thinking that maybe I am just another person he wants to hook up with, but he is actually really sweet to me and remembers the little details of things that I tell him. Posted: 03 Mar 2020 05:46 PM PST I asked a guy that I have been talking to for over a month for some clarity because he doesn t show his emotions or feelings much, and this was his response: "As far as this is concerned, I don t know what s "between us" I can t say it s x, y or z just for the sake of it, but I like talking to you that s why I text you all day." It was hard to read him, he seems very well reserved. He is out of the country currently for work and travels a lot because he is a consultant, so we haven t had the chance to meet up yet. I really like this guy as he is very different and laid back vs the other guys that I have talked to in the past. I am a huge over thinker and I can t exactly tell if he has feelings or not. On the 27th, I apologized if I had said anything wrong because I could tell something was off by the way he was texting. He told me "it's not you... just give me some time" I replied with a simple "sure". It's been 4 days and I haven't heard back from him. He's in the group chat between our friends and is active on there. I have a feeling I might just never hear from him again. I don't understand why guys do stuff like this tbh |

Today we were talking and I told her about this other girl I like, but she said that girl is not my type and I should forget about her. She then tapped my leg with her foot, and asked me when I to get dinner tonight. Afterwards she asked if I wanted to get a haircut with her next week and is always making plans with me. This has been going on since she friend zoned me and gets mad if I don't pay attention to her. |

| Question: Can’t tell if he’s afraid of me or likes me? Posted: 03 Mar 2020 05:39 PM PST So here's what happened. What had happened was that in one of my classes we have this thing called "affirmation Friday" where we anonymously send compliments to our classmates. Naturally thinking this guy was cute and being a gay man its not that simple to just flirt with someone so this made sense as an anonymous option. I tell him several times things like "you're so cute" and "nice lips". He thought it was a girl sending him these despite the sloppy handwriting. I was eventually gonna tell him it was me but I think he overheard me talking to my girl besties about him. One day I walked over to him group table and I quietly heard him say to his friend "i'm a little uncomfortable now." Before I got a chance to say anything, I just left before I made things worse. Every since then, when I come up to his table to talk to the other people, he'll have his eyes wide open and sort of stare at me. Its hard to tell if thats fear in his eyes or arousal. What do y'all think? Is he afraid that a gay man is attracted to him or is possibly into me as well but on the DL |
