Posted: 07 Mar 2020 01:49 PM PST I am scared all of Alexandria, VA might be quarentined (however that is spelled).
Question: Why does my step dad do all these obnoxious things? Posted: 07 Mar 2020 01:17 PM PST I honestly think he just tries to be obnoxious. I live with my mom because college is close and living situation is cheaper. She married a man who doesn't work but I mean if she loves him more power to her I guess(I work so I have the right to say that). Anyways when I'm hanging around with some guys all he does is do house construction which is fairly odd,but gives him justification to notleave the house. He's a mouth breather and walks up and down the stairs consistently about 12 times every 2 hours so you definitely are aware every time this is happening. Just to add to that he's 6'4 and 220 lbs. It's a nuisance for studying. My girlfriend ended up begging to leave because that made her uncomfortable and now hates coming over. He slurps his coffee(which he drinks a lot) to which you can hear throughout the universe. He also hums hymns almost always which don't exist because they follow no pattern or musical consistency(something I find not only uncultured, but blatantly obnoxious) - (And yes he's capable of conversing with me but when I'm alone at home this is mostly all he does). Yes, I am being judgmental here but besides all that, he makes the most obnoxious jokes, and tries to be the financial moderator which is funny because none of it is technically his profit. My mom dogs on me for saying any of this is bad in any way whatsoever and at this point I just want moral justification here to tell me I'm ungrateful for being annoyed. I really want to move out at this point. Not ungrateful****

Question: Is "getting laid" a bad word? Posted: 07 Mar 2020 12:01 PM PST I'm asking for my mom. I explained to her in front of my 8 year old brother the reason I wanted to go to college is because "I wanted to get laid." She reminded me to "watch my language" because my brother "can't hear stuff like that." I explained to her in front of my brother that it means sleeping together, and that I just wanted a date.
Question: What do you think? ? Posted: 07 Mar 2020 11:47 AM PST A lot of times when my husband and I go to his daughter's events, we don't all get pictures together, just pictures of her by herself. Is this bad? We have pictures all together, but we don't take pictures every time we do something.
Question: Why does my 19 year old sister behave this way? Posted: 07 Mar 2020 11:03 AM PST She was ugly from ages 12-16 and now on Facebook, she brags about how she is pretty now and that she isn't the ugly duckling anymore. She lost 50 pounds, got her braces off, had her teeth professionally whitened, had breast reduction surgery, and now uses self-tanners such as Jergens to give her a glow. She won't talk about college or her job at Buffalo Wild wings but she recently made a post that said this " I am not that ugly 16 year old from 2016-early 2017. I look better and just hope people notice that. It is amazing what life will do and those guys that were mean to me back in like the 10th grade are the ones calling me hot today." why is she so obsessed with her physical appearance? My aunt did tell her that she was ugly around 16 and forced her to smile in photos with the braces on even when she was self conscious.
Question: Is it normal that I got my mom’s surname instead of my dad? Posted: 07 Mar 2020 09:12 AM PST They obviously weren't married and I got my mom's surname instead of my dad's
Posted: 07 Mar 2020 08:15 AM PST As a Pick Selector, who is an associate who puts items in shipping containers called totes to be distributed to pharmacies throughout New York State, about a year ago, I would always keep pushing this woman's totes along with mine to get done faster. Eventually, after telling me about it numerous times, when I once again tried to push my totes with hers, she asked "What are you doing?" And I said "I'm trying to get all of these totes done and finished." And with a confused look on her face she said bluntly, "......yeah...….don't push my totes." And defensively I said "okay!" The two of us never spoke to each other again for the rest of the day. Later that week, I once again fooled around, waiting until the last minute to get ready for work and so didn't prepare my breakfast. He gave me permission to do so once. So I ate in my father's car again and again until one day, when I once again brought food to his car, I could hear him mumbling and cursing underneath his breath saying "Don't eat in the f***ing car....." And I'm like, he hasn't said anything about it before and he KNOWS I haven't eaten yet. But he didn't care. So I said "Can we go now?!" And he then said unapologetically "Don't eat in the car! Respect the rules of the car!" As we got in the car, he then complains and says "Yeah, I gotta pick up your s***!"(every morning he drops me off at work) He then said, "You don't see anyone else eating in the car. I'm "whining". You've got nerve."
Question: Is it normal that my dad moans loudly while climaxing? Posted: 07 Mar 2020 08:14 AM PST I hear creaking for some time and then really loud moaning like 'aaaaaahhhh' and then my mom hushing him. Is this normal?
Posted: 07 Mar 2020 07:27 AM PST My sister wants me to lay in bed and cuddle with her she's had a really rough week. Is that wrong ?
Question: My safety on the internet? Posted: 07 Mar 2020 04:01 AM PST Hello. So yes I am concerned about my safety. There are people with a bunch of money and connections who might be a massive problem for me. Its all happening on discord. So my questions: How do I hide my location. IP, home address, my computer and mobile devices ip. The accounts they know of: Discord, Instagram, Facebook, Telegram. They also know where my school is (its far from my home.) I can be away from home for 4-5 days a week and could possibly have a job on the weekends. Im going to another country for summer job so I can fund me moving out my house. I am 18 so I can do anything. I'll be working on getting a gun to my posession after summer. I don't think I'll have my driver's license before next year. So basically how can I be safe from someone tracking me down. I have time till atleast the end of this year, Im going to only visit family but not stay the night. There's always potential that they could send out a hitman so I gotta be careful with what I do and what trace I leave behind. Can you tell me how to maximize my safety? After next schoolyear I can spend a year in the millitary.
Question: How do I get my Mom's boyfriend out of the picture? Posted: 07 Mar 2020 03:22 AM PST I don't like him and I want my Dad back.
Question: What does it mean when my Mom warned me a relative of hers is kind of a con-artist? Posted: 07 Mar 2020 03:22 AM PST This is not a close relative of hers but a cousin of hers from a part of her family she seldom sees. The man contacted me with a get rich quick scheme. I have only met the man once.
Question: How do I get extended family to want to see me on Easter? Posted: 07 Mar 2020 03:21 AM PST I am scared, it is in a month, I am scared. Christmas was hard also.
Question: Was this the right parent-ing move? Posted: 07 Mar 2020 01:10 AM PST I took away my son's phone because he was talking to his girls 24 /7 so I started looking in his phone and what I found was just too much sex talk and I told him he needs to focus on his grades and made him promise me and gave him the phone back.
Question: Was what I did wrong? Posted: 07 Mar 2020 12:30 AM PST We had a party at our house last night. I was sitting on one end of the couch while my sister ate her dinner on the opposite end; a guest was sitting between us. My sister got up to throw away her paperplate & plastic fork/knife. She emerged from the kitchen a minute later. When she was between the kitchen doorway and her original seat, another guest quickly hopped into it. When he realized he sat in my sister's seat, he offered to get up and sit somewhere else. Altho all the furniture was filled, I told him *no*. When my sister looked at me, I had her get a chair from the kitchen. We don't have a dining room. Everyone at the party needed to be seated in the living room in order to play the game together after dinner. Well, he was company. That's why I wouldn't let him give my sister her seat back.
| Question: Pls help me!! brother issues? | Question: My fiancé doesn’t stick up for me when his sister terribly disrespects me? Posted: 06 Mar 2020 09:02 PM PST She's 20 and the only girl. I'm 26. My fiancé has always told me to ignore her actions but it's just too hard. She sends me horrible texts about myself, telling me I'm a hoe, stupid, *****.. she hates when I try to get close or talk to my soon to be mother in law. She makes it obvious at family gatherings she tries to exclude me. It's so hurtful. From the beginning I've always been open as a person for her to come too. Given her many gifts and have "tried" to create a sister/family bond. I tell my fiancé about this and again he tells me to ignore and block whatever contact with her. Meanwhile, when we go over to his moms he's acting like nothings been happening and chatting it up with her, and he he ha. I get that's his sister but for how low she has disrespected me I would expect for him to stand up for me and make a statement to her it's not okay. I know a man doesn't want to pick between family and a wife, but I'm feeling she's entitled to do this because her and her brothers relationship remains the same. I no longer want to come to family gatherings she's around, her nasty words and behavior have ruined my experience with the rest of his family. Very uncomfortable and not a loving space for me. What should I do? |
Question: My kid hasn't figured out he's adopted, should I tell him? Posted: 06 Mar 2020 08:36 PM PST My son Kyle is 8 and he's black. Me and my wife are not. I think it's funny that he still hasn't figured it out and I kinda wanna see how long he'll believe it for.
Posted: 06 Mar 2020 07:54 PM PST She won't let me visit to say hello without her being home with my biological dad home. She doesn't want me present without her. Should I cut her off it's mentally exhausting dealing with her.
Posted: 06 Mar 2020 07:37 PM PST Meaning he's not turning volume down, not quiet whispering, no low talking no light door closing and music will be played at level before the Baby came home or born. My Dad did this with me my mom said I know it true cause loud sounds never brother me

Posted: 06 Mar 2020 07:27 PM PST My parents tend to control everything that I do from how I dress, eat, sleep. It's hell and I don't know how to get out of the house without a good paying job. I just quit my job in retail store because I was miserable and depressed. I was ready to make a drastic change in my life so that I could move out but my plan is being ruined because I can't be a security especially one with a firearm because they hate guns even if I don't bring it in the house.

Question: I am writing a story and I need help with a perspective? Posted: 06 Mar 2020 06:37 PM PST A young man ( 21 ) is buying food for his crush (17) who is hospitalized and unable to eat because of PTSD related incident ( she was poisoned so she too scared to eat ) He is asked by her mother (45) who doesn't know her too well, (mother -daughter live apart since she was 6) to get her food that is easy to eat, prepared by some her daughter trusts and something she likes He and the mother agree that they should get her food from the restaurant the daughter works in part time and live's with owners To be respectful, he asks the mother if she wants food from there too, and she said yes, thank you, but this time, I will pay How should he respond ?! ( he doesn't mind paying since he is loaded)
Question: My Dad butt dialed me when talking about me. Should I tell him I heard him? Posted: 06 Mar 2020 06:16 PM PST My name is Adam and he was saying to my step-mother "if I didn't have to keep Adam happy I could enjoy life but I am stuck having to entertain him. I wish he could keep himself occupied like his sisters". Later he said "again if I weren't stuck having to see Adam I would. I am sick of Adam". It hurt me terribly. I am 15 and male. My sisters have more friends and don't have to be around as much. I am pretending to have homework this weekend so I won't have to see him. It hurts a lot. I live with my Mom and have to see my father and step-mother and her family once every 2 or 3 weeks. My parents divorced when I was a toddler. My mother has always said he doesn't love us cause he can't love anyone but I just assumed she was making that up since he left her.
Question: Does anyone have any sympathy for me having to serve a harsh school punishment ? Posted: 06 Mar 2020 06:09 PM PST this morning i sat at the breakfast table in my school uniform crying because i had a 4 hour saturday detention, my mum was angry with me and drove me to school and escorted me to the detention room, we all had to write essays on why we wre being punished my offence, our school has a strict detention policy that says if you get 3 detentions in a term you automaticaly go into a saturday detention, i had already got 2 detentions this term, on wednesday i kept messing around in class my teacher gave me 3 warnings saying that unless i behaved i would be punished with a detention i carried on messing about so she put me into detention, i had forgotten about the 3 detention rule and my head of year gave me a 4 hour saturday detention i pleaded saying i had forgot about the rule and could i please be given another chance, she refused saying the punishment stands and i will have to serve a saturday detention, i have got back from detention and it was MISREABLE the detention room has isolation booths which means there are wooden panels that seperate the students so we cant see or speak to each other, both my mum and sister said i got what i deserved what do you think ?
Question: Should I get counciling for my daughter ? Posted: 06 Mar 2020 06:05 PM PST My daughter is always in her room and seems to be fighting with her friends quite a bit and seems to be sad every now and then she doesn't open up to me and is always on her phone she is 13 and I have no idea what to do She also snaps at me when I try to start conversation with her

Question: How can I get my elderly mom to not hate her house? Posted: 06 Mar 2020 05:21 PM PST My mother is 78 and has been having health issues for the past few years due to her diabetes. My dad is in his 80's and is very stubborn and cheap. He refuses to flush his toilet in his own bathroom because it's wasting water and money. He won't let anyone use the exhaust fan in the other bathroom because it's wasting money. He has even started taking a soft drink cup from a restaurant into the kitchen and peeing in it and leaving the cup sitting on the floor next to the kitchen cabinet(which is nasty). We have told him about it and he finally removed the cup and stopped peeing in the kitchen(thank God). However, my mother now refuses to eat anything I cook ever again because of my dad. I have cleaned and sanitized the kitchen with bleach and nothing is changing her mind. She says the house is forever ruined and that she will starve herself to death if she has to. Last year my dad wanted to sell the house and get a one bedroom apartment someplace. And my mother and I fought long and hard to keep him from doing that. Now I'm thinking she is giving up on the house she has forever loved. It's my childhood home so I don't want them to sell it. I can't bare to think of another family living here. It's my home too as I can't afford a place of my own. So I would end up living in my car. What can I do to change my mom's opinion of this house? IS there anything I can do? Or should I just give up trying? She says there is nothing I can do to change her mind and opinion. I refuse to believe or accept that. There HAS to be something.

Question: Problems with my brother in law ? Posted: 06 Mar 2020 04:40 PM PST My sister recently started to date this guy, (he doesn't have legal documents to live in this country) She broke up with her ex and the day after she was already dating this new guy. At the beginning I supported her cuz I want her to be happy I meet this guy and after a while I got a very uncomfortable feeling. I discovered him looking at my breast multiple times, Once we went to have coffee and when my sister went to the toilet he wanted to hold my hand Still I thought it was my imagination, but then once he stayed at our place, I woke up and my sister had to go to school and I stayed at home with him, he woke up, so I made breakfast for him, and he came and hugged me.... To make the situation worse my sister told me like a week ago that she might get married with him so he gets the nationality.... (they are 3 months together...I feel my sister had lost her head since she met him. The problem is that this is really dividing me and my sister. I told her that I get a weird feeling from him but she just ignored me. And this morning she came up with helping him to start working in our company. I told her to please don't do it, cuz I might have shifts with him and I don't feel comfortable, Still I told her that I could help him getting an other job. she left the room.later on I discovered she had thrown away a gift I gave her few days ago for her birthday... I'm destroyed, I don't know what to do, what's your opinion about this? I need some advice urgently
Posted: 06 Mar 2020 04:14 PM PST Does it make me seem like a bad step mother if I don't take pictures with my step kids unless they want me to or my husband does? I don't mind taking pictures if they want me to, I just don't like making the first step. Is that bad?
