Question: Is it wrong to give someone a birthday gift and then stop talking to them? Posted: 03 Jun 2019 05:21 PM PDT There is this guy I'm friends with he and I had sex once. His birthday is next week and I'm going to give him a gift. But after that I'm not going to talk to him anymore. He and I talk on Facebook but I'm going to cute off contact with him. *cut off contact* |
Question: Shared the same room with a friend. How would most others respond to this? Posted: 03 Jun 2019 05:16 PM PDT Went out of town to a meetup during Memorial Day weekend. The following night I drove back late with my friend Holly (I'm a guy btw). It was still miles from home and we were both dead tired. Ultimately we made the decision to pool what little money we could mine from our wallets and crash at the nearest hotel. We tried getting our own rooms, but the hotel was booked and only had a few rooms available. The cheapest room we could afford only had a single bed. I opted to sleep on the floor or in the car. Holly pretty much disagreed saying "**** that". So we ended up sleeping together face to face (because the room was stuffy and both of us would either be facing a wall or inhaling foot odor). That night wasn't awkward at all, just different. But Holly did admit that sharing a bed gave her that safe and warm feeling. Yes, we did cuddle, but only because of how comfortable Holly felt sleeping. We've hugged before, so it wasn't a big deal. When we explained to everyone why we were late the next morning is when the misunderstandings began. They seriously believe we left to find a room and have sex. Now everyone is trying to pair us up which gets annoying. Why is sex the only conclusion people concoct? Is it weird for friends, especially guy/girl friendships, to share a room? |

Question: Do you think this guy would have sex with me again? Posted: 03 Jun 2019 03:11 PM PDT I had sex with this guy once and I told this guy that I like how he touched me and that he was really gentle. And he said he's usually not but that he only did it because it was my first time. I also asked him if he liked it and he said he enjoyed it very much. |
Question: How do you handle people that are mean to you over the way you are? Posted: 03 Jun 2019 03:07 PM PDT Where I live everyone sticks together and dress talk act the same and physically look alike. They are typically mean to people that aren't like the way they are and or accuse them of being 'different' and withhold everything from them. Mostly they are mean to people that aren't like the way they are, and they and their ingroup so be hard on that person. You cannot talk to one person alone out here, everyone is in a clique or ingroup and they walk in an entourage. When they are nasty and mean to you just over the way you are what should you do? |
Question: Is this wrong to do and what should I do about the second thing? Posted: 03 Jun 2019 02:37 PM PDT So there is this girl who I am no longer friends with because she made me feel really uncomfortable around her and now we are no longer friends. I am actually happy about it though because I don't want to be friends with her if she is gonna make me uncomfortable being around her. I am now afraid my teacher is gonna force me or insist me to be friends with her again when I clearly don't want to because she is just gonna make me uncomfortable again and I really am afraid of being friends again with her. I clearly don't want to be friends with her because she is gonna make me uncomfortable and miserable being friends with her and I don't want my teacher making me or insisting I be friends with her so what should I do. |
Question: Am i a loner if i smoking alone? Posted: 03 Jun 2019 01:55 PM PDT I'm 14 and i smoke and none of my friends smoke so i just usually go to the park by myself and smoke so i usually feel like i'm a loner |
Posted: 03 Jun 2019 11:09 AM PDT I work for a company that ask for its workers to go to other buildings to help out from time to time. I've been with them for a little over two years now and in that time I got to be friends with a coworker that started six months before me. We're both in relationships so I don't know why she was always so adamant on getting me to join the travel team. |

Posted: 03 Jun 2019 08:54 AM PDT Pros: It will likely prevent them from getting raped or harassed Men don't have to worry about some other guy eyeing up their wife or girlfriend Cons: On a hot day it could be uncomfortable A man would have to wait until he gets home if he wanted to admire the looks of his wife/girlfriend d |
Question: What should i do about this “friend” situation ? Posted: 03 Jun 2019 06:26 AM PDT I'm always helping these people out with advice, texting first, helping them with their school/homework, doing this and that for them, but if i wanna hang out or something, i either get a "well I'm busy" (they're not) or i don't get invited. I feel so irritated and helpless because i feel so left out because I'm 16 and i have absolutely no one who comes to me first. I resent social media now because i see all of my "friends" together, but i didn't even get an invite. It's given me a lack of self confidence and anxiety and I'm not sure i can deal with this much longer. I'm also having trouble looking for other friends too because everyone is like this now. |
Question: How could I make each of my 13th birthday wishes come true? Posted: 03 Jun 2019 05:44 AM PDT It's my 13th birthday and I am making 13 wishes that I would like to have come true, how do I get them granted ? 1: I wish i could ride in the basket of a balloon I've always wanted to 2: I wish I could Visit the Caribbean I've seen it in movies 3: I wish my pet bunny would come back to life I miss the bunny 4: I wish I had a time machine To see Ella Fitzgerald, Freddie mercury and Elvis and the andrews sisters 5: I wish I could sing better To impress my crush 6: I wish I had a diamond I really want one 7: I wish I had a Prada purse My parents only got me guess 8: I wish I had a Rolex I saw it in a magazine ad 9: I wish I had a moon rock I saw it in a museum 10: I wish I could dance like Cinderella at the next school dance I want a happily ever after with my crush 11: I wish I had a Tiffany necklace My friend only got me something from JCP on Valentine's Day 12: I wish I had a treasure chest decorated with ornate seashell designs I admired one in a museum and want one 13: I wish i had a super car So I didn't have to ride the cheese wagon bus |
Posted: 03 Jun 2019 03:51 AM PDT So we're a group of 5 friends (including me), but 1 is currently studying in another country and 1 is out of town, so it leaves the 3 of us. 2 of this 3 are secretly dating each other and I found out 2 months ago since they started acting differently. Now, they still ask me to hang out with them but I always feel like they only do it out of courtesy since I'm a mutual friend and they don't actually care if I join or not because the times that I refuse, they don't insist me joining like they usually do, and the times that I do join they keep talking with themselves and make me feel like a complete third wheel even though the 3 of us have been friends for the same time. And I'm not just making this feeling of third-wheeling myself because all our mutual friends agree that they feel like a third wheel to when they join. Now, I want to hang out with them since they're my friends, but I hate this feeling. I tried hinting to them that I know they're flirting/dating each other but they either not reply me or just change the conversation. I also don't support their relationship because both of them just broke up from a long distance relationship with different people (all mutual friends of ours) so I know that they're just finding a new easy relationship with each other. I feel like I'm taken for granted and that they're just asking me to join so that others don't realise that actually just want to hang out the 2 of them. |
Question: How to meet people without work or study? Posted: 03 Jun 2019 03:19 AM PDT Due to circumstances out of my control I am unable to work or study, and am currently living with my grandparents away from the country I grew up in. I have come from Australia and am currently in the UK and have been for just over a year, I am about to turn 19. I have a girlfriend whom I met on a dating site, however I have no way to meet other people (that I can think of). Before I moved I had a very active social life and I would go out 2 to 3 times a week with friends, and I really do miss that. As much as I love my girlfriend, I still need to meet other people my age as she is about an hour's drive away from me, and has a lot of work/college commitments. I have discussed with her about me meeting her friends, but they all live even further away and are quite different from myself. Many thanks in advance for any help! |
Posted: 02 Jun 2019 10:35 PM PDT I was in love with a woman (who is my best friend), but she didn't feel the same way about me. It was very painful for me when she said that. We are still friends, but she has a boyfriend now, and we barely see or talk to each other anymore. |
Question: What would happen if I said this to a former coworker? Posted: 02 Jun 2019 09:10 PM PDT My former coworker used to bully me when we worked together 20 years ago. She approached me and said hello and asked me how I'm doing. I said hello and had to leave. What would have happened if I said this to her? "I'm not envious of you at all! I've got a better life and better career than you do! Plus, I'm a 100 times prettier than you!" |

Question: Why is being too nice a bad thing? Posted: 02 Jun 2019 07:25 PM PDT Multiple people my entire life have told me that I'm a very nice person. They'll say, "You're extremely nice" or "You're one of the sweetest guys I ever met." However, many people have told me that I'm too nice like it's a bad thing. They'll say, "I like you, but you're way too nice." "You're too nice." Why is it a bad thing? |
Posted: 02 Jun 2019 07:21 PM PDT So I have a really complicated situation. A guy I like sat across from me once after a few minutes he tapped me on my arm and when I looked at him he waved. He sits by me quite often and once he sat across from the table and when I looked at him he waved. He also always offers me a ride and will say "are you sure" if I say no. One time he got tape on his hand and said "(my name) I'm stuck. He told me once thank you for being awe some. He'll tease me and say "sorry I'm being sassy" however he won't ask me out: why? |
Question: Should I find new friends? Posted: 02 Jun 2019 07:02 PM PDT Hi, I have only 2 friends and one friend who is a guy. People till me to not associate with him as he has a big family who are always arguing and their family house is like a hoarders house I'm not been kidding. The coffee table is filled with junk, junk under the couches etc, The kitchen worktop is filed with box food and cans of stuff and dishes everywhere. I feel bad for them as they live rough but that cant be good for mental health with a house like that. My friend doesn't really want me as a friend is the point of this, He does not appreciate me, he says things like "women cant be friends with guys unless they is sex involved" as if he is a sick of me, he jokes about it about i think he is serious. I don't like him like that. He also gets involved with fights as a lot of people in our streets because people do not like his family as they all take drugs and his mum and sisters sleep about. My life is not like this and people and my mum say to me that they're not your kind of people you want in your life, they sound like complete degenerates and junkies" should I find new friends? thank u. I am 27 peeps |
