Do people do this? Has anyone ever heard of someone abducting a loved one and keeping them within a close proximity to where they live so that they can hear what is happening to their family member, but forcing the abducted to lie and say everything is okay when they are called by the concerned family member? To exact some sort of revenge and putting that person through extended mental torture?

Im 5 years older. Our dad wasnt really doing much for the family so I had to do his parts as in take her and bring her back from school, make her food, clean after her and more. The reason why im writing this is because ever since she became a teen she has become real disrespectful talk towards me without any respect, has a negative energy towards me for no reason. She's a grown woman now Almost 21 and im Almost 26, but she is still like this and I still have to help my mom by my own and her too even now that she's an adult. Why doesnt she appreciate what ive done? When i tell people about my situation with her they dont understand to why a little sister would be so rude to her big brother like wtf is her problem?

we were at the airport yesterday, and we had lunch at mcdonalds. during the meal, my dad stood up on his chair and sang, "old mcdonald had a farm, eieio!", and everybody turned and and saw him sing, wearing a pair of denim short shorts and a slutty white tanktop on the plane, when the flight attendants came by to serve snacks, my dad asked for a lot of beer. and one point, he had to use the bathroom, so he took off all his clothes, diarrhead on his way to the bathroom, and diarrhead and made a mess in the bathroom, and he didnt even bother to flush. then he return ed to his seat, put his clothes back on, and finished his beer. fortunately, my famiily did not sit together during the flight, so we didnt have to endure the disgust up close. anyways, about 20 minutes later, he took off all his clothes, propped his legs up on the seat in front of him, and began farting. he farted so loud, everyone heard him, and even the flight attendants were so horrified they didn't know what to do. when the plane landed, he rolled off his seat and rolled around naked, farting and diarrheaing the whole time. everyone laughed at him, spit on him, and kicked him. when we got to our hotel, my dad immediately began drinking beer he took from the minifridge (which we didnt even pay for), sat on one of the beds, continued farting and diarrheaing, and sat there watching tv for the rest of the day.

im a 14 year old girl. i have a 16 year old sister and 11 year old brother, and they get a lot more privacy than me. they're allowed to password-protect their devices, but my parents put parental controls on my devices and constantly snoop through them, but never do this to my siblings. my mom also goes through my trash and sniffs my laundry on a regular basis, but never does this to my siblings. my parents also search my room, and my room only. my parents dont let me stay home alone. if both of them go somewhere, i have to follow them or they hire me a babysitter. but my siblings get to stay home. also, im not allowed to close my bedroom door or even the bathroom door, not even when im showering or using the bathroom, but they let my siblings do it. once i was in the bathroom taking a shower, my brother and his friends came in and pulled back the curtains and laughed at me. i told my parents, and they grounded me for using the bathroom when they were in there. i dont see why my parents dont give me any privacy. i do much better than them in school, and im also more obedient and respectful to my parents and i help much more around the house, and ive never gotten in trouble. i asked my parents why they dont give me privacy, and they simply said im not allowed to question their ways. and when i told them i want to move out, they said i cant and that i must live with them forever, and when they die, i must die with them.

My parents encourage drugs, complain about their jobs, argue every day, are racist against anybody who is not white, leave on vacation for a week at a time without even letting me know, mother has abused dogs before but I saved them by getting them a new home, and they have no social skills. Do to their childhood and who they were raised by I am not surprised they grew into people like this and I have no idea how I found the sense to not become like them. However, I don't think this is a valid excuse for their behavior to be accepted. I'm 19 at the moment that i'm writing this and I don't have anywhere near the right income to live on my own. I'm about to be starting at a community college very close to home so I won't be living on campus for my first two years of college so thats kind of disappointing. However, i'm trying to get a transfer to the University of Florida once I get my associates degree in Mass Communication or Computer Science. Any advice on what I should do until then?

So I always end up feeling like crap and hating myself that bit more because of reasons like this. An example would be that I had a nice day today with them and apparently I had been the one in the wrong for "picking out little things". I stated I was tired and ill but my sister was too and they acknowledged her talking in a manner of "Oh she was ill today but she still went" completely ignoring the fact I was aswell. When I'm actually not I just don't answer and they assume I'm annoyed, or I'll just nod my head or say okay. I hardly can ever state how I feel because of this and its getting toxic. Ways the deal with this please? I know I'm not the most perfect person but it really brings me down.

I d like to start by saying the reason I am asking is because my mom this morning before she went to work she yelled she was gonna put me up for adoption; and then she slammed the door shut. I wouldn t mind being put up for adoption too at this point and i m only 14 and my mom has hit me a large numerous of time from getting punches to the back of my head, to having a home-aide cast because my mom almost sprained my wrist, and limping because my left knee is messed up so it can get injured more easily to just not being able to run as fast as I use to. Growing up with foreign parents has changed my life. Theirs definitely things I'm grateful for things i wish were different. I was born and raised in New York City but traveled overseas and lived their for 3 years .My family wanted me to learn Arabic because they wouldn't allow me to forget our heritage and where they came from. But what it did was made me struggle a'lot ,I came back to New York three years later Went to school and had a hard time catching up with school and my classmates.I was very embarrassed I struggled to be on the same level as the other students. My parents would always put me down and call me dumb and just hurtful things. Eventually I dropped out of high school because I just lost interest.

My brother's son is currently 30 years old and a cripple. He's paralyzed from the waist down and requires the use of a wheel chair. He became that way after a car wreck five years a go. When he was able-bodied, he always trained in MMA and his amazing genes, as well as dedication to the sport meant he had a lot of great potential. My family exaggerated it, claiming he would soon become the best welterweight cage fighter of anyone. After the accident then, his confidence took a tremendous shot and he's depressed about being in a wheel chair. Him and his father got into an argument and then my brother's son started self-deprecating, about how his potential of becoming a fighter at all was wasted due to his injuries and his own shortcomings. My brother claimed that the obstruction which kept him from reaching his athletic potential was a psychological one rather than a physical one. He keeps telling him that he'll never reach his potential as a fighter because of his mental state, but is he forgetting that his son is a cripple or is he just crazy?

My cousin is picking up on inappropriate habits (vaping, swearing, not listening to parents anymore). Her parents think it's okay to let her hang out with them just because they're all girls. My mother had me when she was 17.. She never took responsibility for me. She was never there. My mawmaw was the one that raised me and was always there for me. I have 2 step kids and the older one of the two does not like me because his mother tells him to hate me and not speak to me the younger one is fine with me and talks to me and loves being around me. Hello, My wife and I are flying to a neighboring country in Europe to a city about 3 hours from where my childhood friend lives. He agreed to come see me where I will be staying, but two weeks prior to that he is expecting a child with his wife. I don't want to ask him certain things at the risk of sounding inconsiderate. Is offering for him to spend the day with my wife and I and then spend the night (at my expense) ok? How about offering for him and his wife to come up with a baby and spend the day or again night at my expense? Asking him to maybe consider to get a baby sitter for a day? Which offers are out of line as suggestions.

For no real reason, my mother doesn t allow me to go outside so I m always stuck inside my house not even really allowed to have friends over or do anything that a normal kid would be able to do, how can I change her mind and attitude about the situation for the better and have her let me go outside so I can have a normal life for once?

My mum tells my sis that she only feels comfortable with them hanging out at school where its really supervised, but those rules don't apply to my sister hanging out with other friends. Its just this one kid that my mum is cautious of. Since its summer break, they can talk on the phone but cant physically hang out. The thing is,she lets my sister see all her other friends who have "normal" parents. My mum encourages her to make other friends who don't end up in care. She says she'd allow them to see each other more if the foster kid were younger than my sister, so it'd be unlikely for her to be influenced by her in any way (since kids usually look up to same aged or older people, not younger ones).
