| Question: I am very rude now. How can I fix this? Posted: 04 May 2018 05:42 PM PDT Not long ago, I have been much ruder to family and friends. If my brother pisses me of, I have an explosion of anger and usually hurt. When I look back on these things, I feel really bad. My life now consists of constant regret. I hate this "new me." Also I've been ruder and ruder to friends than I usually am. They don't really care but I always feel bad. I am just worried that all this will get worse and worse. I hate this. Please help me. | Question: I still feel like a loser???? Posted: 04 May 2018 05:37 PM PDT When I was In high school I was a big loser, and I didn't really have any friends. But now I'm 22 and when I see people from high school around I feel intimidated, and I feel like the same loser from high school. I'm fit, I have more friends, I own a Mercedes but the thoughts from high school always come back and I feel insecure. Any help please?????? |
Posted: 04 May 2018 04:47 PM PDT Theres one girl in my grade. I really dont like her - she was an asshole to a majority of my friends last year, she was an asshole my girlfriend two years ago, but she was sorta on good terms with me for a little while before I remembered what she did and she went back to doing it again. During the time we were on good terms, she got my phone number. We ride the same bus, so she knows where I live. Sometimes, she would ask me if I wanted to hangout during the summer. I would mostly say that Im busy with stuff, because I would be, with work and sports and marching band and camps and ****. But the girl would randomly show up at my house even when I denied her. Eventually, I blocked her number. Then school started again, and she was an asshole to my bestfriend. My best friend used to be friends with her, but after her being an ***, she stopped that. My now exgirlfriend, who has been on good terms with me after our breakup, told me that she saw the girl riding her bike past my house every time that I was at work over the summer. So now, I basically refuse to talk to her. If I have to work with her on somthing, Ill do it, but not to happily. Another thing - the majority of the school hates this girl. Shes a rich asshole that buys her clothing from the toddler section at target because she doesnt know what fasion is. Me and like 3 other people were her only friends untill she was an ***. She makes 1 of my friends very uncomfortable Is it bullying to not want to hangout w her?
Question: My parents make a big deal over a B+? Posted: 04 May 2018 04:21 PM PDT So my parents are very strict when it comes to grades, and they only accept A's it's beyond annoying and embarassing. Everyone says my parents are doing too much and their expectations are too high. For example if I get a B+ on a test I'm grounded, yelled at and called names (stupid, worthless, etc.) as for my friends if they were to get a C they get rewards! I continuously tell my parents that their expectations are embarassing, stupid, and that nobody else has their expectations but then I get beaten. My mom just took my phone away for getting 1 point below an A but I am tired of arguing. My friends are lucky that they can get all the B+'s they want and not face their parents making a big deal over it, it's really embarrassing and makes me have more hatred towards my parents who act like a B+ is the average grade for someone who cleans toilets. Even teachers congradulate me when I get B+'s because last year and the year before my average was a F-C, but my parents are never proud of my improvement. How can I get my parents to become normal? I'm tired of arguing with them.

Question: Handeling cybefbullies and rumors?? PLEASE HELP? Posted: 04 May 2018 03:05 PM PDT I have an "ex best friend," whom two months ago I tried slowly backing away from her drama in which backfired to non stop talking behind my back and cyber bullying. Although I never talk to them, about them, or look at them, they keep spreading lies about situations that never happened which leads to people whom I don't know spamming my phone messages with really hurtful things. I've confronted them twice, once in person and over the phone. Both times I made sure not to attack her personality or call her any names but say she needs to stop. Afterwards, both times she said I pushed her and bullied her. I can't confront her or she will call abuse. I can not ignore the situation because new lies and text messages keep coming almost every day (eventually I learned not to respond, but it still hurts.) I went to my school about the situation and they said they'll talk to her, but I'm afraid she will pull the same cards of crying and making up situations that never happened. I can not beat the **** out of her either because I know she will call the police and press charges, although we are both legal adults. She also has been skipping school quite often lately, to the point where people are afraid she won't graduate highschool this year. Her lying and spreading rumors has gotten very personal, its embarrassing, and I don't know what to do. Please help.
Question: I can’t tell if someone is joking or not? Posted: 04 May 2018 01:55 PM PDT My stuff was on a boy's desk and he said "EW! Why is [my name]'s stuff on my desk? Gross!" He jokes around cruelly all the time, but still, I wonder if he meant it? Also I was passing him and he called me an "emo" and said that I'm slow in track, but I know that's not true because my times are fast. I *think* he considers me as a friend, because he talks to me nicely enough, it's just sometimes he makes comments. Why? Am I really gross?
Question: Will I end up regretting being a loner? Posted: 04 May 2018 01:50 PM PDT Never really been that socially active. My social skills aren't bad, I know how to interact with others and I can be quite polite to strangers. I'm only 18 and i've been able to work 6 jobs. so this is not about shyness or social anxiety. I simply don't feel like it. Befriending people is so tiring, first you have to go through the whole polite phase where you don't really know each other and where you fake lots of behaviours, im also bad with sharing personal stuff with others which i know is crucial to a good friendship. I simply don't want to go through all that when im perfectly okay with me being a loner and enjoying my solitude. though lately i've been feeling... guilty? my childhood friend for example, is starting a new school and she's all like "i can't wait to make new friends" etc when all i did was keep to myself when i started my current school (i've been able to come closer to some this past year, wouldn't call them friends but i do sometimes enjoy talking to them at times) I'm kind of starting to be embarrassed of the fact that I am a loner, like i myself enjoy it but i feel like people would judge me if id tell them how little i actually interact with people on a daily basis. So my question is then, will i regret being a loner in the future? i mean i do enjoy having friends, just not lots of them. right now i only have one but i figured ill get more in the future, but should i really rely on the future just magically giving me friends?
| Question: I feel insecure!! Help???? Posted: 04 May 2018 01:10 PM PDT I'm 22 years old, and there's are 2 girls that I'm really interested in. | Question: How do I fix things? Posted: 04 May 2018 01:10 PM PDT So me and my friend got to this place where we didn't really talk for a while and then a week ago we decided we were gonna fix things, so we decided we were just going to basically restart our friendship and now all we do really is say hi in the hallway, but I don't really know if this was the best thing to do. How do we fix things if it wasn't the right thing to do and how do we move to the next step if it was? |
Question: How to make friends? Posted: 04 May 2018 01:06 PM PDT I just got out of high school a couple of years ago and I m finding it really hard to make and keep friends. The only friend i have is my high school best friend, who has the same technical interests as I do. Everyone I meet just wants to party and do drugs, and I want to build stuff. I ve thought about asking to make friends from local facebook clubs but then I would come across as desperate.

Posted: 04 May 2018 11:44 AM PDT I don't know who to invite, because I cant just invite the friends that like each other, but if I invite everyone, It definitely won't be fun.
Posted: 04 May 2018 11:21 AM PDT We both liked each other and talked for close to a year but never made it official and she gave head to another guy...
Question: Why was my friend so inconsiderate? Posted: 04 May 2018 10:32 AM PDT I just wanna hear feedback from others on this, although I know the answer prolly. The first year Joe and I were friends, there were no probs. And to this day, we both get a long fine when we ARE together, and have lots in common. But this past year or so, he'd start inviting me out at the LAST MINUTE, constantly. Obviously, he wasn't prioritizing me well. When I'd call him out on it, he'd have lame excuses. I finally weened him off of this, with a very direct "Pleast Give me more heads up!". He never did. He stopped inviting me out ALTOGETHER. Why is it so hard for him to prioritize me? It baffles me, cuz we both DO enjoy each other's company and have lots in common. He must see something in me he doesn't like?
Question: Why did my best friend say that? Posted: 04 May 2018 09:15 AM PDT I told my best friend that I sometimes care for people way too much. She got scared and said, are you dumping me!? Why did she say that
Question: My “friend” is so spoiled and she doesn’t think she is. Do u think she’s spoiled? Posted: 04 May 2018 07:58 AM PDT When she was younger she took so many activities like piano lessons, dancing lessons, swimming lessons, karate lessons, ukulele lessons and etc. She goes on great vacations like Disney cruises and she's been to both the dream and the magic in the same year + she went to Canada. She has been to Disneyland, Florida, Castaway Cay and Disney Cruise twice. And she has been to Nassau, Bahamas, Canada, and Disney World. And she told me she's going to Europe this summer + Disneyland Paris. And for this Christmas she's going to another Disney cruise. She also gets everything she wants. She gets a ton of Christmas presents. She has nice clothes like from VS Pink, Forever 21, Hollister and Lulu Lemon. She has designer purses and wallet. She has the iPhone X, a MacBook, and a Camera (and it's only hers). And she also has a Wii U and Xbox 360 (she lets her friends play on it when they visit their house) She has braces and eats mostly organic fruits and veggies cause she's "vegetarian". And the veggie lifestyle is so expensive. She also makes YouTube videos on her YouTube channel. She went to the museum of ice cream for her bday. So do u thinks she's spoiled or not. Btw she hates it when I call her spoiled.
Posted: 04 May 2018 04:42 AM PDT Should I tell my husband? I feel like I should talk to someone about this but I promised I wouldn't say anything.
Question: Why do transients/long distance movers bartend or waitress? Posted: 04 May 2018 12:32 AM PDT As a resident of Southwest Florida, I am losing four friends this year alone to long distance moves, 3 of them are bartenders. They are moving to the mountains. And it really hurts exactly like death because they cherished me as their best customer, and one of them even took me out for a couple of late night eat-outs upon getting off of work. It's one thing when a bartender gets a different kind of job and the only way to see them is to get together with them, go out for lunch or to a movie, or what not. It's another when they are moving long distance, and not even in 80 years or less will they ever be able to make time, money, and energy to travel that huge long endless distance just to take a former favorite customer out for lunch or dinner. And as I said before, long distance moves are exactly like death, aka long distance moving friends never, ever see each other for life as if the long distance moving friend had already died. So why do transients and future long distance movers even bartend/work as bartenders and/or work as waitresses? Especially knowing they will leave all the more broken, grieving hearts when they move long distance? Why can't they work as receptionists (hotels, schools, doctor's offices, etc) or as crew on ferry boats or for municipal transit systems where they have little to no contact with the same people over and over?
Question: What should I do in this bad situation? Posted: 03 May 2018 10:00 PM PDT At school, we have community laptops (macs) that everyone shares. But sometimes people don't log out of there email account and it is still open the next time someone uses it. So I noticed my friends email was open and decided to play a little prank - have her send an email to herself saying "I love mold and need to sign out of my account." So then my friend sees what I said and sees an account open on her computer. Basically says the same thing. So we (STUPIDLY) get into it, and now people are reporting getting weird emails, etc. can they track me if it's a community computer that is not linked to me? My friend found out and she didn't report me - but if she tells others the rumor may spread. All the teacher said was "we're having a problem with kids not signing out. I have the tech team on it to narrow it down." What does he mean? Does he think it's a loging our issue? Why would he send tech on it? Can I get caught? WHAT should I do? P. S. I know I'm stupid, I don't need you scolding me, I need advice!

Posted: 03 May 2018 06:17 PM PDT I went to her house several times and her kids is always glue to the tv screen. I want to say something to her but can't. So what should I tell her next time or now? Currently, I'm at Australia and she's at New York. What should I write to her without being forward and mean? |
