Im 24 years old and have been a housekeeper for this older guy for about 3 years. This is non sexual -_- i have my own room. He doesnt pay me but lets me live rent free. He use to give me gas money to go out but he has completely stopped giving me money. He expects me to watch his house all day and clean and cook for him. I believe he purposely stopped giving me gas money so I would stop going out. I would do my job but Id leave for the weekends while he was home and don t think he liked that. I m not allowed to make any money myself. I told him that I had an interview and he said well you need to move if you work.. I feel like I m going crazy because I have no money and never go out. If I live rent free, should I expect to not make any money? What about personal hygiene products I need or my phone bill? Am I being treated unfairly?

I started falling for my guy friend the first night we slept on his bed together but kept to myself and played it cool for months and just recently we got into this really stupid small argument about nothing really and haven't gotten along since. Someone has an outpatient procedure performed on him, so he is lying in his private bedroom with his door shut. Why would another person who is not the doctor, nurse, spouse, parent, or anyone else who is waiting on him have such undue worry that they really want to view him? It is not like he is in the hospital with something life-threatening. No, he is in his leisurely sanctum all tranquil and the procedure was a success.

That's how this abuse works, she has a list of punishments and games in her head that she can use to "make me think" or "learn my lesson" (basically so she can get her way), especially when she doesn't like my behavior. Her psychological abuse plays like this: Trash not promptly taken outside, "are you trying to win a world record to see how long it can stay full before I get mad". Her emotional abuse is like this: After telling her my feelings, "I don't agree with anything you just said, it's all in your head. You're the one hurting me" which twists it back ontobme and my feelings are INVALIDATED and now I am on the defensive. What advice do you havs for me?

I had to cancel an important dentist appointment this morning due to no sleep and excessive anxiety. I'm 18. My dad basically lost his ****, threatened to kick me out, and took my phone and computer. He does pay for them so fair enough I guess, but reasoning is a bit off. Keep in mind that I'm a good kid, only time I lose the phone is from anxiety-related events (so the punishment doesn't really match the action, IMO). Get good grades, don't drink/smoke/do drugs/act up/etc. I leave for college tomorrow morning and I'm totally freaking out. I had my packing list and to do list on my phone, and I calmly and politely asked my dad if I could see it real quick just to copy down my list, and he told me to go away and not to ask him about my phone or computer and that I had some nerve. My mom kind of understands but has no power over him. I'm getting so stressed that I'm forgetting things, and I know that I definitely am because I don't have that list. I'm very OCD this way and like to have all my ducks in a row. I'm actually sweating from stress/anxiety. This is not how I pictured packing/moving to go and it's adding so much anxiety on top of what I was already experiencing. I also normally like to wind down with my phone after a stressful day like today but that's secondary to the whole list thing. Just having it back would alleviate a lot of stress though. Any good tips on how to try and get my phone back so I can pack stress-free?? :(

Before you jump down throat. Please, here me out. I am 21 years old. I ve been in a relationship since December 2014 with my 24 year old boyfriend/son s Father. At first, when I met him he had a good job. His car had put him down weeks prior to meeting. I was still a full time student in college(18 at the time) he would give me anything I wanted and needed back then. Fast forward to 2015, he ran thru almost 8 jobs. It came out that he was receiving disability benefits since he was 13 years old ! He swears to this day that he had no idea that he was receiving those benefits. He claims his Mom was spending the money.( Yeah right) In 2015 I was pregnant. I worked for Bank of America. 40+ hours a week to provide for our son. He did not have job. He barely contributed to anything back then but was receiving that money and not saying anything. 2016, he barely worked he ran thru 3 cars. He lied to me every day about working. He even called me pretending he was on break ECT but the whole time he was at home. The money he was giving me for our son, I guess came from him borrowing money from people. Fast forward to 2017, I am in my own place, FT Student, and I volunteer to gain work experience. He s helping with his Son with his disability money. Which, I don t understand why he s getting it. There s nothing wrong with him. He s had the best of the best jobs. He just doesn t like to work. Sometimes I care too much and want to help him. What should I do?

My mom is sick and doesnt work, she is on disability. She should be on anti-depression meds but doesnt take it. I am basically the parent. I work and my boyfriend works. We both want to move out but we cannot afford much, maybe a basement apartment. If he moves in with me and my mom where we live now, there will be enough room because we live in a 3 bedroom. I feel completely isolated and the job is not the position I accepted. I am not even working for the same manager or department. Work paid me 10K sign on bonus my main motivation for the job was money and nothing else. If I don't stay a year I have to pay that back. Now I feel like money is not everything I can afford to pay it back but I won't have much left. Also it won't look great on my resume my previous job I only stayed a year and 1 month. I had to threaten to sue my old employer to get everything he owed me so I don't think going back is an option.

My brother is always trying to tell me what to do and trying to control me. Like, if I'm at home just watching TV or texting my friends, he'll tell me to stop, and do my homework instead. And he's always trying to control when I come home. My girlfriend has been very sad lately. Her uncle died a few weeks ago. It's been hard for her he wasn't around much he lived 3 hours away she saw him maybe every other 5 years. It's a family she's close to but doesn't see much. She feels bad because she didn't get to go see him or say goodbye to him. She's usually not one to cry but she was in tears at his funeral. She's also scared of doctors even more right now he was supposed to have surgery but some rare disease got into his heart the doctors couldn't get it in time she thinks the doctors had killed him. She's just scared and upset right now she doesn't know what to think. She's reading his obituary right now she hasn't read it yet she's mad because they listed her in it and spelled her name wrong. Also it was sad because he died on his daughters birthday . We got to go see them I never met him I heard he was a good guy also his family is nice. It's the first time Mt girlfriend saw her cousin and aunt in a long time. Like her grandma she felt strange being in her uncles house when he wasn't there. That's how she felt when her grandma passed too. It was even more strange because she hadn't been there in years. How can I comfort her ? What should I say to her ?
