Question: Do I have to go to this wedding tomorrow? Posted: 15 Apr 2017 02:13 AM PDT My friend has invited me to his wedding. He was a high school friend whom we do hang out on a regular basis until last summer. He moved to St Louis to do his residency last year. Since then we kept in touch occasionally. His parents and my parents are also friends but I do not really talk to his parents so my friend is not a family friend. Anyway, three months ago, my friends mom came over and invited my parents to his wedding and also invited me on behalf of him. His mom said that he will soon call me to personally invite me but as the date came closer and closer, he never called me. Anyway, the wedding is tomorrow and I have yet to receive an invitation from my friend. I do not care about the invitation from his mom since I do not know her well. Do I have to go to this wedding? Am I overreacting or is it legit if I skip this wedding? PS: I also called him twice in the past month to bring up the fact that his mom has invited me to his wedding on his behalf....just to see if he will invite me. He never picked up the phone nor returned my calls. |
Question: Who could a princess marry, if she can't marry a prince? Posted: 12 Apr 2017 09:08 PM PDT Like say she couldn't marry a prince for whatever reason, who would be the next best option? Dukes, lords, prominent military leaders? Not in a modern day sense, but like middle ages to the 19th century? |
