Question: How should i go about changing my social life? Posted: 16 Apr 2017 05:15 PM PDT i am kind of a shut-in but do talk to people a little in school. never had a girl friend before. |
Question: My friends worried that she will become homeless? Posted: 16 Apr 2017 05:07 PM PDT One of my friends is in a rough situation she's worried that she will become homeless she's nearly 18 and I heard she has a rocky relationship with her mum and her dads terminally ill and the council won't help and hasn't got anyone to turn to apart from me but there's no room in my house as im still living with parents and brothers and i really wanna help her what can be done to help her |
Question: Is it OK for me to initiate in this situation? Posted: 16 Apr 2017 04:24 PM PDT Whenever I start talking to someone new, I overthink everything. I don't want to look clingy or be annoying, so initiating conversations is often hard for me. The guy I've been talking to, who I just met a few weeks ago, goes to the same school as me. We've hung out twice and had a great time both times - just talking and getting to know each other. I was hoping to hang out with him at some point last week since we were both home this weekend for Easter, but it didn't happen because of our busy schedules. I did see him around campus though and we were texting for most of the week. Our last conversation was on Friday. We were going to hang out before I went home, but I ended up leaving before he was able to see me. The last words of the conversation were basically him saying that we should hang out soon and me saying yes, definitely! We then just sent a smiley face and that ended the convo. Should I wait until tomorrow and maybe just ask how his holiday was and mention seeing him sometime this week? This won't look too eager, will it? We've talked about intentions and his last relationship was bad, so I know he wants to take things slow. So, I definitely don't want to push him away, but I want him to know I am interested. |
Posted: 16 Apr 2017 04:10 PM PDT The lease is over in six months and the baby will be here in two. We both agreed to continue the lease till the end. The problem is we both want to renew the lease and have our boyfriends move in with us. One of us will have to leave. We both pay the same rent and utilities. She has a better job and a car. I work two blocks away and have no car and make less than her but can afford the Appartment with the help of my boyfriend. What should I do? I don t want to ruin the friendship and we both can t agree on something. Please some advice!!?! |
Question: How to tell someone you don't trust them without being rude? Posted: 16 Apr 2017 04:10 PM PDT I've came across certain folks..mainly my last job...actually all the jobs I've worked at. And I just can't trust them. I tried to be friendly and "fit in" but my heart and gut keeps telling me that I shouldn't hang around them anymore. Plus it's like their bad habits kinda rubs off on me. Luckily I could sense that before taking any huge action. How can I tell a certain individual or people that I can't put my full trust in them? And that they should just respect me as a coworker? PS. Sometimes I think maybe I'm just too nice and people mistake that as being naive. :( but I'm far from naive. |
Posted: 16 Apr 2017 03:46 PM PDT This is a friend of mine that I've kept in touch with over the years and saw eachother after a very long time recently. It was a lot of fun but after we got together she wasn't the same in keeping in touch. Very delayed responses and short. My husband says it doesn't seem like she is interested in keeping in touch based on what he can tell. She is also married and has kids. She and her husband are in the same field as my husband (and I am too, but a slightly different "category" you could say). She seems to like and comment on his things online and I think it's because she finds him useful since he's in their direct field of work. Do you really have to be useful to someone in order to be friends?? :-( |
Posted: 16 Apr 2017 03:38 PM PDT My best friend is getting married and he asked me to be his best man I m honored to do it but any time a problem comes up (such as they want me to wear a cowboy hat and I look like shite in 1 but I said I d do it ) the couple are always quick to say "do u need to step down from the plate" ,and he asked me 2 days after he proposed and I told. Him he might want to think about it cuz it s a big deal he said "you don t need to do it I can get someone else " I just don t think they really want me or aren t taking it serious enough, am I just being stupid or what |
Question: What can you tell about my friend? Posted: 16 Apr 2017 03:21 PM PDT So yesterday, I told my friend I had Epilepsy and that is why I am now homeschooled. He said, "oh man that really sucks". I asked him if he was freaked out and he said " not at all. Thanks Alexandria |
Posted: 16 Apr 2017 03:17 PM PDT I have a friend (P.S Not a Crush), and we have been close since last year, but recently, I feel she is uncomfortable around me. I think it all started with when I heard she didn't like me touching her, which is confusing because she didn't mind it before nor does sh mind it when her other friends do it. She seems to have closer friendships with some other kids my age and It is killing me and making me jealous, especially with some kid who seems to get everyone as a friend. I've been taking some space, but It every time I see her having a conversation with a friend, I feel left out and jealous now. I would like to talk to her about it, but I am afraid of making her uncomfortable, or having her change her opinion of me. I don't want to lose this friendship. I'm worried if its because I acted a little clingy last month. I don't want to take it step by step and wait because It'll probably be too late by then. What do I do? |

Question: Why would a mature girl be attracted to immature guys? Posted: 16 Apr 2017 02:19 PM PDT She's mature for her age but falls for immature guys even if they're older than her. |
Question: Expects me to know already?? Posted: 16 Apr 2017 01:59 PM PDT My best friend texted me today. He sent me a screenshot of text his text messages between a friend of his and him. Here was what I remember of the convo: HIS FRIEND:"wowowow I wouldn't even consider her a best friend." MY FRIEND:"Ok Thank you" HIS FRIEND:"Best friends are there for you whether you're happy or sad" (He said a few more things but I can't remember) Then my friend texted me saying, "Just reminding you" I asked him what it was all about. And what was wrong. But he only responded with that, "if you don't even know what I'm talking about just don't ask. It's fine." He just expects me to know! I responded with okay because I didn't wanna start drama. But wtf?? Literally it's so rude for him to do that, make me wonder and feel bad, then just leave me hanging. What's wrong with him? |
Posted: 16 Apr 2017 01:52 PM PDT Well I'm part of this small gaming app. And there's an owner. That I dm sometimes that I tell about my problems. I tried to create a friendship. And get ignored but the person talks to other people. I already told the person to check dms and stuff, and to notice me. But since I saw I got ignored I deleted those messages. Maybe I was annoying but it kind of makes me upset that this person is ignoring me. Since I look up to them smh. |

Question: Can somebody find your name from your phone number even if you are under 18? Posted: 16 Apr 2017 01:46 PM PDT This is a long story but it has me pretty shaken up. So first things first I am 15 and this all started 2 days ago, a person on instagram leaked their own phone number and urged their followers to call them. I did and jokingly breathed heavily into the phone for about 30 seconds and hung up, I repeated this process a few times and that was the end of that. Now the next day I give the number to my friend and he calls it and then he gives it to his friend who texts the number. Then they get a response that says "tell (my name) to go lick an egg and **** off". My friend sent me a screenshot of this and I freaked out I told him to ask said person to tell him how he got my name and the person responds with "zip". I have no ******* clue if they meant zipcode or something but if they did idk how the **** they gpt it and how they found my name with it since I am underaged and haven't had a job yet, thus I have not done any taxes. I'm really spoiled by this and I need answers. Help would be greatly appreciated! |

Question: She thinks he lied about everything? Posted: 16 Apr 2017 11:20 AM PDT My friend doesn't want to talk to me, I'm a guy and I'm really into fitness, so last year I was able to do a lot of Fitness competitions. plus I was able to do a lot of photo shoot around the states. The problem was I was only 20 years old and the company was looking for people 25 and older so my contract was part-time . So when I turn 25 I will be doing modelling again. so I told my close friend about it and she was really excited for me. But since my contract was part time and I needed a real job to support myself and I began working as a dishwasher in a restaurant. So now she thinks I lied to her and she doesn't want to talk to me anymore, like I feel like garbage because she left and now she thinks I'm the biggest liar when I'm not !!!!!!!!! It's making me angry, any anvice |
Question: I like my half brother ? Posted: 16 Apr 2017 10:09 AM PDT I kind of like my half brother. He's hot, very friendly and smart... We are 14 years old. I really want to see him naked. When we were camping with our families, I tried very hard to sleep with him in one tent, but our parents didn't allow us... I have even tried to spy on him while he was in shower. Am I normal ? (I don't want to have a relationship with him... I just want that) We know each other for a week. I'm a girl I mean my step brother... Our parents divorced about a month ago and my dad found a new girlfriend, who has a family of her own. |

Question: Is it OK to use teeth in a fight? Posted: 16 Apr 2017 08:54 AM PDT Yesterday when me and a friend went out, some drunk guy attacked us. He started wailing on my friend and put him in a headlock. So my friend tore a huge chunk out of the drunk guys forearm. I don't blame him as this drunk guy was ripped and he was really beating down, but is that acceptable under normal circumstances to do that? |
Question: Why do people say to not date your ex's best friend? Posted: 16 Apr 2017 08:26 AM PDT That can't be true for everyone..... so why do others feel they need to push their own experiences onto other people when everyone's situation is different? |

Question: I need to not be quiet!? Posted: 16 Apr 2017 07:40 AM PDT Recently, I realized how quiet I actually am at school. I am fun and happy at home, but when I get to school, my brain shuts off and I get tired. Everyone in school has their group, and don't like the outside of their group. My friends barely talk to me and it's hard to start comversation when no one is listening to me. Whenever I talk no one seems to care. I want to be positive, fun, and happy at school, like I am at home. But how? |
Question: How to deal with being around someone you don't like? Posted: 16 Apr 2017 07:36 AM PDT A lot of the time, I without choice have to be around certain people I really dislike. Whether I'm in school or out, it's a regular thing that I can't stand. And it's not only people I dislike, it's also people that do annoying selfish things I dislike. I don't know what to do anymore. Please don't say "get to like them" because it's almost impossible. |
Question: How can I stop being friends with someone? Question: Looking for tips when it comes to talking to someone new? Posted: 16 Apr 2017 06:04 AM PDT I have the worst luck with guys and have never been in a relationship (I'm 20) so whenever I meet someone who seems decent, I overthink everything. I met someone at college a few weeks ago and we hit it off really well. Right away, I could tell he was different because he actually wanted to get to know me rather than ask me to show up at his place. We hung out for a few hours and talked about all sorts of things. It went really well. Later that week, we met up to grab food and then hung out again and just talked more. He asked my intentions and I told him that I'm sick of games and want something real. He told me he's not currently looking because of how bad his last relationship was, but he wants to see where things go. I've been hurt by every guy I've talked to, so taking things slow is totally fine with me. Everything has been fine lately, we've been keeping in touch and I've seen him a couple times. I'm just not sure how these beginning stages should be going. Not sure how much I should initiate contact, see him, etc. He told me he's very cautious with the girls he talks to at our school and that I give him a good vibe. He's probably the most mature and respectful guy I've ever found and I really want to keep him in my life - whether it's just as friends for right now or it progresses. I just need some tips, especially since the semester is coming to an end next month. People make getting the guy they want look so easy, but I never seem to have luck. |
Posted: 16 Apr 2017 06:02 AM PDT I haven't seen him since and don't want to. I have to add that his wife and kids will also be present, so I don't want to ruin anything for them. I told his wife that we don't see each other anymore - but not why. And she didn't ask - although she's asked me several times if I know if he's seeing other girls. |
Question: My friend doesn't treat me well? Posted: 16 Apr 2017 05:16 AM PDT So I met this guy online several years ago and we met last year when I was having issues with my now ex boyfriend, who just treated me horribly and made life unbearable. Well he said if I needed help with anything that he'd come and visit me and help me out. Well he disappeared on me and then we started talking again. I treat him like I'd treat any other friend I have, so I come to him with my problems (like if I have issues with a guy or something) or if I'm upset about my ex he will basically tell me to get over it. My other friends seem to react better when I come to them about things, a lot better than he does. They don't understand why I bother with him. I wanted to see if we could take things to the next level, so I'd flirt with him all the way and he would flirt back but would say he's not interested, so since then I've just let it go. But he's not really nice to me. He tells me I'm boring sexually because I'm not open to certain things. Last week we had a fight because I tried to "follow" him on Instagram and I noticed he flat out blocked me for no reason. I got upset and asked why he did that and he still hasn't told me and said I was crazy for being upset about it. Well I have my friends on social media so I don't see what's the issue with me trying to follow him on Instagram. He was the same way about Facebook when I said I wanted to add him. So all we do is text and use Snapchat and it feels like he's kinda just trying to hide me or is just ashamed. |

Question: GUYSSS is he nottttt interested ?????? Any ideas ????? Posted: 16 Apr 2017 03:35 AM PDT There is a guy I know who I feel behaves quite inconsistent around me sometimes he's quiet when he sits or stands around me sometimes he avoids me and it's completely obvious and sometimes he comes to me on his own and smiles /tries to start a conversation. Well I messaged this guy to ask something and he replied back to my messages within 15-20 min and used hahah a lot. Well to end off the conversation I basically congratulated him on his graduation and hintrd we should hang out and celebrate in a joking way by saying "we'll have to celebrate when you are feeling better" (because when we talked about celebrating before he said he's been going out for the last few weeks and is trying to stay away from partying ) and he replied back with a "thanks!" So is he not interested? I can't tell if he's shy because he seems talkative with other girls and likes girls pics on social media |

Posted: 16 Apr 2017 12:13 AM PDT My friend did not hang her phone up correctly and her sister over heard everything my friend said, it was a good conversation it wasn t no secret, nothing wrong that was said but it just she's very embarrassed because her sister said to her "oh I was listening to you and you really was going to town on what you said" she was tell my friend how she really knows how to speak to be to people. My friend was so embarrassed the more her sister told her this repeatedly and the things my friend was talking about was very personal to her that only the other person needed to know. My friend is so embarrassed. How dose she get over this and what should she do if her sister reminds her this again? Please don t tell me it s her fault her phone was on she knows that very well but how dose she over the embarrassment so she could feel comfortable again to speak about the same thing again is the question? |

Posted: 16 Apr 2017 12:10 AM PDT So every time I try talking to my stepbrother or one of my friends they always reply with just a few words or sometimes one when texting. I have social anxiety so I might be boring to others since I get really anxious and stuff. Every time they reply like that I just feel down even though it's probably how normal people text so I don't know are these true friends or? |

Question: I don t want to be around my grieving friend? Posted: 15 Apr 2017 10:03 PM PDT My friend s family member died and I know that grieving people need all the support they can get but I am dreading seeing them. We are supposed to meet up Tuesday. I have already gone through something similar when someone else whom I know lost a smiley member and it was awkward. I didn t know what to do and I hated being there. I felt so bad for them that it made me feel bad for days. I don t want to see my friend at all and be in that atmosphere of grief. Is it normal to not want anything to do with someone who is grieving even if you care about them as a friend? |
Question: Why is he soooo inconsistent any ideas ???????? Posted: 15 Apr 2017 09:42 PM PDT There is a guy I know who I feel behaves quite inconsistent around me sometimes he's quiet when he sits or stands around me sometimes he avoids me and it's completely obvious and sometimes he comes to me on his own and smiles /tries to start a conversation.

Question: Why does my friend always get mad at me for little things? Posted: 15 Apr 2017 08:23 PM PDT So I have this friend in school and we're not best friends but we're kind of close. She is prettier and sexier than me, she always gets a lot of compliments and she has a lot of proud. I am always there for her when she needs to tell me something. But I never tell her nothin that happens to me because I think she would not care or she would laugh at me. (I don't have a life, tbh). We're on vacations and I did not text her for like 3 days and now she does not answer my texts. She does not talk to me at all. And I though something bad happened to her but then I saw pictures of her and I saw that she was ok. Also, she talks to our friend but not me. I feel so sad right now. I feel so lonely and I can't take the fact that she might be mad at me, out of my head. Please tell me what to do to. (Please don't be mean) Thanks. |
Posted: 15 Apr 2017 08:08 PM PDT The connect is in his field and you don't know him but you reached out on his behalf. Would you be upset he didn't email him right away or realize that it's not a big deal and he did in fact email him after all just two months later when his podcast was perfected and you should be grateful for that. That he wasn't REQUIRED to email him at all. This is purely hypothetical of course. This person didn't have to email anybody at all no matter how desperate he was for work. Do you think that's a big deal? |
