After a couple of weeks he just started talking to me after class and walking with me to the parking, then he asked for my number bc he said he was going to miss class. He shows up to next class (even tho he said he was going to miss it), then texted me on the same day. he kept the convo going and asked me questions. We kept texting non-stop for a month. He asked me to hang out (i said no), he asked me to workout, and he asked to watch a movie. I did workout with him, and i did watch a movie but on the college campus. The bottom line we have so much fun together (and i really like him) and we started becoming closer and closer. but then he just started being cold with me thro texting, i asked him are you okay, he said that it was hectic for him and had so many things to do. then he went back normal to texting me, and stopped again like out of no where. we did not text for a whole week, then the next week I asked him where was he at. I met with him before class, i told him that "i am mad at you bc you dont ask about me and dont text me" he apologized and told me that he was going through family problems and hes sleeping out of his house bc he fought with his father. he also said that when hes mad he likes to be alone for a while. This guy really got me confused, why is he acting very weird, i know he has family problems but the semester is coming to an end, and i dont know what to do? |

No, it's not what's important but it's what initially attracts people. I'm told I look like Jessica Jones so I guess I'm not terrible looking, there are days I look beautiful but days I look like a greasy dude or an alien, I dress feminine but I'm not a girly-girl so can't do flawless makeup etc. I've been blinded by rose-tinted-goggles in the past, looks don't normally matter to me but I've had people mock me for my choices in men (with one guy people would laugh at us or ask if I was a prostitute), often once those glasses slip I realize I'm not attracted to this person as they're really not physically attractive. The last guy I dated was attractive, maybe a little out of my league based on looks and career (although I ended it as he was an abusive jerk). I've always been scared of dating attractive guys in case they realize I'm not attractive or in case they're using me for sex, this experience hasn't exactly filled me with confidence. I'm finding myself attracted to conventionally attractive guys more these days, and they show interest in me sometimes too, but I just want to reject them because I feel I'm not good enough - not only may I not be attractive enough but I've not much else going for me in terms of career etc. so why would they want me? Sure I can offer love, loyalty, intelligence, etc. but it doesn't seem like that's enough to guys. |
