Since November I've been working on getting healthier and I have, I'm nearly at my goal (30lbs down) but with my weighloss I seem to not be invited over to my friends get together's anymore and they barely contact me (via snap, text or Facebook - I still contact them but the conversations always fall flat) and the only difference I've changed in my availability is that I go to the gym Saturday mornings - which doesn't conflict with any of our old regular hangout times ... so I don't get it, I can't think of anything that I did or said, I've just been being left out more and more as my weights gone down. Should I contact them and bring it up or just let them go?

We were at the beach. I was with my friend and her bf. I have always found him attracted. well today we were at the beach and the waves were really strong. Hi In 2 days my class is Going on a field trip. The bus drive takes 3 hours. For months I thought I was Going to sit with my Best friend. But when I asked, she Said she is Going to sit with someone else. Since we are 21 people in the class, someone is Going to sit alone. And that person is me. I know it's silly, but last year I was bullied really hard, so now, the smallest thing Can bring me down. Please. Okay so a guy on tumblr started messaging me, and I don't have the heart to block him or ignore him because he has a lot of issues. The thing is, it feels like he's only using me to vent or talk about how much he hates himself, but when I need to vent he barely texts back. He keeps talking to me about his self harm problem, even though I've told him that self harm triggers me (I've been clean from self harm for 11 months). I don't know what to do. He obviously has issues and I'm afraid of making it worse if I ditch him, but I also can't deal with a person that doesn't talk to me about anything other than his depression. It drains energy from me and I'm in a bad place right now mentally so I feel like I need to focus on myself to let myself get better. (Don't get me wrong. I don't think it's annoying when my friends vent to me or when they need a shoulder to cry on once in a while, I want to help them. But this guy drains energy from me.)

Ok so basically my life is a bit of a mess at the moment. Firstly, I feel like at school i have no true friends. I do have a group that i hang around with and sit with but i feel like I'm not wanted as i never get invited out to any of their parties or anything. Also, its prom soon and everyone is having a pre-prom party and i feel as though i won't be invited and will have to turn up to prom by myself which would be so awful i wouldn't go. Also, i feel like a might have a bit of an issue with Social Anxiety/shyness so i find it difficult to make any friends in my school and i feel like everyone dislikes me. I think this all started from when I had a serious argument with my ex-friend ( who I'm still at school with), she told everyone and from then on I have always felt as though everyone hates me and turned against me for what happened. This resulting in having no friends and from going out every weekend to never going out. I am starting sixth form next year so hopefully, i will make some new friends but i am worried i won't because of my lack of confidence. Also, everyone from my old school, including the girl i had the argument with will be at this sixth form, but there will be loads of new people. PLEASE HELP, i dont know if its all in my head that no one likes me or if they actually don't. I used to be so popular and now i am the complete opposite.

I've recently realised my two closest freinds at school have a really negative impact on my feelings and they talk behind my back all the time and make me feel awkward. I have an old friend, who I grew up with but haven't seen in 2 years. I know pretty much everything about her past as she knows mine. My mom insisted that I reach out to her again and I did. We talked for about 6 months or so and today and she completely broke down on me, telling me what's been going on with her and how she misses my company. I'm graduating high school in less than three weeks and I'm a complete loner. My shyness has prevented me from making friends for all of high school and I honestly just want to get it over with. A guy at my school who is close to my best friend recently convinced me he was doing weed. I freaked out and asked my best friend if she knew about it and what the heck he was playing at. It turns out it was a harmless joke that she knew about. Apparently it was because he thought I would be a "snake" and try and hide it from her. She wasn t supposed to tell me it was a joke so she asked me to keep quiet and pretend to play along but minutes later he confessed to me that it was a joke. So, there were a few kids in my math class who teasing me. I recorded what they were saying on my phone, and I intended to blackmail them, but unfortunately they had nothing of value. I told them I would tell on them. However, now I think of it, I really don't care they were teasing me. Besides, I won't get anything out of telling a teacher, and I would lose a valuable ally. Me and my friend are both pregnant. Its also both our first time being pregnant. She just started I'm 4 1/2 months. Shes been sick a lot. There are many more small incidents. She thrives on drama and needs attention 24/7. She constantly says she is suicidal. As a person who has tried to commit suicide, I take this extremely serious. I feel as if my roommate and I might have gotten on her bad side after not inviting her out with us.

My best friend made me breakfast in bed with strawberry pancakes and nutella syrup with powdered sugar. Im a female over 35 and my few friends are all individuals, many people I know, ie at work have a "group of friends" my busy friends don't know each other (wouldn't get along too different) and I have never in my life had a group of friends, not since teen years.. Ok so obviously reveal means reveal the card. But i was in a game with a friend and he was suppose to reveal a card but he just flashed it for a quarter of a second to the point i couldn't even see the color. When i asked to see the card to see what it was he said no he already revealed it. I argued with him about it because he did not but then he said something about tournament rules say you can just flash it to reveal it. Is this true? I have a best friend. We used to be friends since elementary and we still are now. Everything stated going downhill after I became friends with another person, and I enjoy hanging out with her too, but there was one problem I've been trying to get rid of since 2 months ago. Over the past mo th I ve been studying for my final year exams. I ve been going to the library every day I m not at my part time job for the whole day. What has been happening is that my friend John who is in the same course as me, just won t leave me alone. He insists we sit together in the library, which I was okay with initially as we ve studied together in the past, but this time it s reached a new level. Every 10 minutes I get a tap on my shoulder when I m very obviously deep in concentration. Many times I ve given one word answers to his questions in the hopes that he ll understand I don t want to talk. But it never works. 10 minutes later there s another distraction. I ve tried to sneak into the library alone, only to be bombard with where are you messages . Sometimes he ll go looking for me in the library. He is very critical of how I study. I like to start with the basics and work my way to the hard stuff. When he sees me working on an easy problem, He says omg that s sooo easy or something similar. It makes me self consious when i study beside him and I find myself doing things I wouldn t do if I were alone. The other day I could feel him watching me do a problem and kept asking me if I d finished it yet because he d done it and got the right answer. It really annoyed me. The thing is, we have such a good friend ship and I want to keep it that way. But this is just way over the top and annoying and I can t take it anymore. What should I do?

During the confrontation which as I said was a brief message on whatsapp I confessed my feelings and I used some manipulation tactics to make them feel bad (for example: Atleast we had a great last year etc) I left the group without hearing their response

i don't have any one to talk or share or discuss the things. No friends at the moment. Circumstances in life made me hesitant to make friends. I like communicating, i cannot sit idle. I want to keep doing the things, talking, sharing opinions on different subjects. As i am quite open minded, love to talk on any subject. I've recently realised my two closest freinds at school have a really negative impact on my feelings and they talk behind my back all the time and make me feel awkward. Therefore I just want to get rid of them but even if I had the corouge to try and start hanging out with some of my other freinds I will still have to walk with one of them. And I can't even get a lift because I basically live 7 minuets away so she would know something's up. I really want to get out of this situation as quickly as possible but idk what to do. Please give suggestions x

why is it? its like all of a sudden when their in the comfort of their home, behind a computer screen they all of a sudden have this amazing courage(sarcasm) and talk ****.

Like for example you ask a friend: "who do you like in this room?" the friend responds: "no one in particular"

Im a 18 year old girl in college and i have 0 friends and i never go out. I recently went to a big university for one semester where i ended up making a few friends but my parents made me transfer to a small university that is 10 minutes from my house so now i live at home again. During my time here i have not made one single friend and im not over exaggerating. I honestly haven t even had one close acquaintance. I never go out because who am i going out with? Plus i have really strict parents who wouldnt let me out even if i did. I had a good amount pf friends in high school and everyone tells you that college will be so fun but it hasn t it feels worse and im always depressed. This is a lame question but how do i even make friends? Im tired of always being alone and im really starting to hate college.

I'm a guy and currently have a close friend who is a girl, we have known each other a few years And I'm always texting her. She tells me she's not gonna be texting me all the time and that I'm being clingy and even gets a bit mad. But at the end she start texting me all day as well and our conversations last all day.......why does she say that?? Even though we text all the time

Sorry if its long, thanks to everyone who answers :) So, me and my best friend do everything together. The problem is, she is too clingy! She doesn't want me to have other friends. What really bothers me is that she is doing everything I do the same next year! She said it would "be cool" to have the same electives.. So she copied mine. I don't want to change it because I really liked these classes, but I don't want to be the same as her! Also, there are after school activities at my school, and she knows what I did this year, and is now doing it next year. It bothers me a lot. I want to be friends with her, but I want to be my own person, and have other friends. She even planned a trip to Paris for when we are older! How do I talk to her, and tell her how I feel without her getting mad? Thanks in advance!

I get jealous when I see a group of friends hanging out

I have been friends with a lady at work I thought! She moved and my co-workers could not wait to tell me everything Holli has told me has been a lie. She was going to school to be a doctor,to how old she is to how she got her job all lies. It wasn't just me either. All our clients were told stories by Holli. I feel sick about this and as far as my co-workers they all knew she was telling me lies and they are just now coming to me to let me know how sorry they are that I was taken in by her.

I'm very introverted. I don't have any real friends in real life, but I do have several online. For some reason, I always feel uncomfortable talking to them, especially the closer ones.
