I tried explaining the situation but she just walked away slightly laughing saying "never talk to me again" . I slightly held her and told her my side of the story because I didn't want her thinking I'm a liar. she eventually left but soon that night she sent me a message saying to never speak to her again because I made the biggest mistake by putting my hands on her, and because I prevented her from leaving. and also told me she was abused in the past. I wasn't trying to do anything bad ( obviously) so she blocked me, I decided to send her 2 long letters trying to explain and to apologize and I also sent her some roses. She told me if I don't leave her alone she will contact police " but honestly I thought she was bluffing since we were such good friends". she did contact police and the police told me to leave her alone because it can be considered harassment. She hasn't spoken to me since around the end of February and I just don't know what to think. any advice please. Could she talk to me down the road when she calms down?????? |

I don't even know why, I was always nice with them. they started making fun of my insecurities (which they knew really well I was insecure about) which got me really mad, whenever I would tell them to stop they said that they were just ''joking''. they would tell my secrets to others, and they would tell my crushes that I liked them. whenever one of them was being mean, I would defend myself by insulting them back, and they would get really bitchy about it and defend each other but never me. I made decent amount of friends in elementary school, but it had decreased once I was in middle school. I had trouble making friends in middle school. It really upset me, and when I confronted cindy, she just said I was too clingy, and she hated me and didn't want to be my friend anymore. I was so upset, and just unbearably lonely, losing my best friend of 7-ish years. Well, she asked me to meet for coffee last month, cause she apparently missed me, and like...she was a different person, if that makes sense? She was trying to act all cool, and was like "yeah, I smoke pot, I have like 20,000 boyfriends, you should come up to stay over in my house cause I know all the cool people in town..." Like she was gloating! I just wanted to talk to her like a person, but it turned into a bragging sesh. It was SUPER off putting cause she wasn't goofing with me like we used to, and it made me lose the hope of ever being her friend again. So why am I still sad about it? We always had friendship issues, but I won't delve deep as that could be a whole other question altogether. Basically, she made me feel pretty horrible and although I loved her as a friend, I was somewhat relieved to see her go. Thing is, I never told her about the issues I had with her so right up until now, she probably thinks nothing was ever wrong between us. I never told her because I knew we'd go our separate ways soon, anyways. However, she is CONSTANTLY calling me. She's gone down the wrong route (drugs, boyfriends x10 etc) but whenever she calls, she just brags about how much fun her life is. It makes me wonder then, why she seems so desperate to talk with me. She genuinely seems quite lonely. During the first few months, I would agree to meet up with her but she always acted coldly and invited her own friends without telling me. Eventually, I stopped meeting up and have been living a pretty good life. Recently, however, I picked up her call and I accidentally promised that we'd meet up during the holidays. I feel sorry for her, but she's been bad to me and to be honest, I don't exactly want her back in my life. It's been two weeks since the call and I haven't picked up any of her calls since. I feel bad?? I talked about it with my other friend and she said that my friend might be worried about losing me. Not in a conceited way, but as far as I know, her only current friend are drug buddies and delinquents. I don't know; maybe she really is enjoying her life, or maybe she knows that what she's doing isn't right. I've ALWAYS been there to listen to her problems and I've always tried to "ground" her to reality, in a sense. I wonder if she worries if I won't be there anymore. |

I m a 13 year old girl in eighth grade right now and sometimes I feel like I have no friends. I have maybe 3 friends I stick close to at school, 4 I guess. I walk the halls alone, sit on the bus alone and basically don t talk much. I m CONSTANTLY told how shy I am, not ONLY by people but by teachers as well. I m ugly too, like no joke I hate the way I look so much. People just treat me crappy a lot. I am always being ditched because other people s "better friends" come along then they just LEAVE! It makes me feel so upset. So today I got off the bus and my parents were so happy that I got high honors and straight a s last semester they were going to take me to my favorite restaurant. I was trying to be happy but couldn t because today I just felt so freaking alone and sad. When my parents asked me what was wrong I tried not to tell them, but I did anyways. I said "People are just jerks that s all." They both got so mad and were like "OH MY GOD YOUR ALWAYS UPSET! YOU HAVE THE BEST LIFE!" And I kept trying to calmly explain I was sorry but now I m not getting taken out to eat or the other fun plans they planned for tonight. I m SO upset and they are so mad at me. Yeah sure I have the best life ever (at home at least) I m spoiled at home but at school i feel left out. I m not depressed but do have anxiety which they don t believe in treatment for.. He was the one manuevering the m240 cal on the top of the humvee and was hit in the head while on patrol. While I'm sorry he's gone and he was my friend he was an average guy. I mean he was a nice guy but I wouldn't call him a hero. I remember working with him at Burger King,hanging out with other guys and girls in high school,I remember him being the classic american teen,I wasn't a hero either. But When they told us he had been KIA,everyone in town,and I mean EVERYONE called him hero and there were like 3,000 people for the service (more than the whole town).At his funeral there were Marines in dress blues,flags,taps and on his grave (at our local's cemetary) there is written " Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." I don't want to be disrepectful towards him or the Marines but aren't like doctors or firefighters or cops heroes too? His grave is in the center of the cemetary with 2 american flags on each side.It almost makes seem the others less important.What do you think? Again,I have nothing against the troops so if you're just gonna tell me that I'm anti American I'll report you.Thanks |

We used to be better friends but then I got a bit mad when he started ditching me quite often so I just stopped talking to him (without an argument or something like that). It went on for a month or two, we just said hello to each other when we met in school and nothing more. Two weeks ago I sent him a message and we started talking a bit and he said he is going to hit me up when he sorts everything out. Of course I asked him what does he have to sort out and he said "my life" and that it was a long story he would rather to tell me in person. I got a bit concerned and after a few days decided to ask our two mutual friends if everything is okay with him and they told me that something seems off (and I feel the same) but they know only as much as I do. The only thing they knew and I didn't was that he mentioned wanting to see a psychologist but they don't know why. The three of them went out this weekend but didn't learn anything more and we are getting more and more concerned. Should I try to contact and meet him or should I wait for him to hit me up? |

She's actively working on getting asylum, pays taxes and doesn't receive any benefits from the government, and she's also the sweetest person I've ever met in my life. Well, so she's here, and she had to leave her family behind so she could try and help them. She's only here with her father and a cousin she doesn't like. She misses her mom and little brother so much and she's not what she used to be. She's still sweet. But before, she would text me a lot more and we'd talk alot more. Now she has a bit of a short temper, and she talks considerably less. I listen to her long-winded conversations, however, about her issues in life just to let her vent. She's scared and alone, basically. All she does is work and hardly goes out because of lack of time. So I try to hang out with her as much asreasonably possivle. I invite even for the most mundane of things. I'll text her "hey, I need to buy deodorant, come help me choose one." And she usually laughs and comes with me and we do dumb stuff afterwards like watch movies, etc. All so she won't feel lonely. Is there anything else I can do. I know where she's coming from. In high school, I studied abroad in Europe for a year and a half and the first few months were terrible. |

Incluso en las ultimas citas al medico me han llamado la atención. Pero no se exactamente cual sea el problema. En prepa pesaba unos 54 kg y media 1.67m aprox con delgadez aceptable. Ahora unos terribles 75 kg y 1.70 m con sobrepeso. Jaja lo se. Solo crecí 3 cm para arriba, pero para los lados fue demasiado a tan grado que tengo mi ropa favorita en un baúl. Alguien me pueda explicar que me pasa? Tan solo sigo comiendo lo mismo que siempre. |

The one issue I have is their disease which makes them very irritable and they snapped at me yesterday and I didn't tell them this because I was afraid they would get mad at me. I know that if it were another person in this position I would tell them that they need to talk to this person about this (I have and they got mad again) or tell them they can't be friends. I got banned from driving after it. Banned from going out with my friends. Going to their houses. Going anywhere. It was to avoid being in danger. I haven't been out of my house for months. Last time I've been in the mall was last summer. Last time I've been with a friend was last October. To make it worse last year explosion got me so frustrated that i did bad on my finals and i chose to retake my final year. While all of my friends r now in college. We asked our parents to get us a dog so we can have some fun with them. They brought us two one month old puppies .. our life changed a bit they brought happiness to us again. But my mom didn't like them cuz they would pee inside the house. We tried training them for weeks but it didn't work.. We're also not allowed to swim IN OUR OWN SWIMMING POOL. And trust me I don't know why.. my mom left the house cuz she said it was either her or the puppies. And my dad is outside the country having fun. My finals r close and I can't study with all that's happening. Everybody keep telling me that I'm a failure and I won't pass this year too.. If i get seen anywhere other than my room and not studying everybody starts yelling and telling me how much of a careless failure i am. Even when I'm having a break. I get forced to stay in my room and i get so lonely.. Alot is also going on but yahoo won't make me write more |

We ve traveled everywhere together. We ve met each other s family. I ve helped take care of her nephews/nieces and she s helped take care of mine. Every heartbreak and disappointment we go through together... I could go on, but you get the point. Now each of us have gotten into our later 30s, and despite a number of attempts, neither of us can find that special someone. We always seem to end up back to each other, there seems to have been some hesitation on her part in the past to make our relationship formal. Given our extensive history, I m half way tempted to ask her if marry me if we get to 40 and still haven t found anyone. I wanted to just float this idea by her when we re in bed or something. Just say something to the effect of "If we get to 40, and we still haven t found someone, would you want to just marry me?" Would that queer our friendship? I know it's kind of a bold and brash thing to do... but I feel like we aren't getting any younger and I really can't think of a good reason not to wed her. Obviously it's up to the lady though... |

But we went to jr.high together. And she's nice and all but she's a girl who loves luxury things. When ever we were in jr high we made bracelets together in school and she would always try and one up me saying her mother always bought her the best of the best and that she only used real gold and silver. (which I know it was not true) She always had designer hand bags like Louis Vuitton, Prada, coach etc. And for someone in jr that's really odd. And I remember my mom buying me a jean jacket and it was 75$ and she had one also again she tried explaining how hers was more expensive. Now yes this was so long ago but i have her on facebook and she has a good bf and I'm happy for her but yet she still the same way as she was years ago. Were both 24 and I'm about to turn 25. Reason I point all these out is because I've never been a girl to use named brands my aunts have bought me name brand purses and stuff and i won't use them i prefer my jean bag about for a buck at a garage sale. I have 2 acres land with a mobile home and a nice small or tiny lofted cabin. I'm just afraid that if I invite her it wont be up to her standards. I'm having my birthday in the back yard and cabin with lights a dance floor lots of drinks and food. I'd love if she could be there but she's used to something I'm not and I get scared she might judge me or think less of me. I'm not sure what I should do any advice would help. I really am not that bothered by the fact that they're all in it and I'm not, but more like how they've been treating it. They have "theater" group chats and "theater" Skype calls and even parties, none of which I'm invited to. It seems to be all they can ever talk about, too. My best friends are both in the class, too, which makes it worse, because it used to be the 3 of us but now they only hang out with each other. There was a play they wanted me to audition for with them. I agreed and ended up as my friend's understudy. I quit the play, because I didn't want to have to sit around at the rehearsals and watch them have fun while I sat on the sidelines and memorized lines for a part I won't ever perform. So now on top of talking about theater, they're going to have all these rehearsals to talk about and cast parties to go to and everything. They've even started planning their parties and theater outings right in front of me, like I'm not even there.I feel really lonely and left out. Should I tell them how left out I feel or just let it go? |

At first, I thought that illogical response was an indication that alcohol poisoning has affected his brain cells. But then I realized he's just using the Jedi mind trick on me: I say I'm tired, so he brainwashes me into thinking I don't want to go drinking because I'm broke. Therefore, I think he's taking advantage of me by appointing me his escort for when he gets totally wasted. Keep in mind that we both live in the same borough, and therefore take the same train to get home. So I feel as if he's usIng me as a pawn so that he can get as wasted as he wants and not worry about muggers approaching him while he's unconscious, as I'll be sitting next to him on the train. FYI - I never drink as much as him, so it's obvious he invites me for his benefit. It's getting very annoying, and I feel like a pushover. In his defense, he never disrespects me at work. So I don't have a problem with him professionally. Matter of fact, he always pays for my drinks, which most likely is out of appreciation for me being there for him when we're riding the subway and he's knocked out. But still, it's getting very repetitive and irritating, especially since I end up having to walk slowly because he's staggering, thus he and I missing the train, as well as the bus I have to transfer to afterward. I hate the fact that he makes me unable to relax after work, therefore sleeping as soon as I get home. |

But as time goes on Im starting to care less about certain things. I had a friend yesterday who showed me a picture of her daughter who broke her arm from falling off the monkey bars. She was saying how bad she felt for her daughter and saying she hates seeing her like that. My first reaction was "she'll be alright" but of course I didn't say that to my friend. But even seeing things on the news about people who have been hurt doesn't phase me. It's like I'm emotionless now even if I try to truly care. Trust me I don't mean to be this careless in any way because I know how it feels to go through horrible things. I just don't know what's wrong with me now. |

I'm 25 years old and my 20s and halfway done. As of now I: - Am still a virgin. I went to an all boys' high school, had no game with girls in college, and it expanded to no game afterwards. - Still live with my parents. I work in a low paying job. No reason to quit and find another job because I am attempting to start another business on the side. - Have limited travel experience. I've only been out of the country twice. - Don't have a lot of friends. The friends I did have in college moved away or my social circle disintegrated. I feel as if I'm drowning. I know I can't stay in my home state any longer. I'm saving up to move out and go towards another state. I'm also I'm saving up to get this business going. My friends are getting engaged and married, travelling, moving to other places... I just feel as if I'm slowly dying. I just want to...be free from all of this anxiety, all of this apprehension. It just seems like it's too heavy of a weight to bear. I just want to know...am I too late? To travel? To have those fun experiences? To experience young love? I just don't what to feel I ****** up my youth.... Can anyone offer me some advice? Please. |
