Posted: 21 Apr 2017 01:19 PM PDT Someone, who once had a borderline neck fracture, whose neck was flaring up was playing with her husband and daughter. They were tickling , throwing paper, etc. Her daughter grabbed both arms behind her back and he kicked her in the but twice. Not a playful kick, but a mma kick. He is a trained jui jits sue or however u spell it. She has no trainibf. Then, he grabbed her in a move where she could not move and she was crying. He wouldn t let her go until she agreed to just walk away. |
Question: Moms would you have done this? Posted: 21 Apr 2017 12:54 PM PDT I just got home from picking up my daughter at school. Since it was hot out and I did not get out of the car and we came right back home I drove in my bare feet and left my shoes at home. |
Question: Mom not accepting of me dating a white guy? Posted: 21 Apr 2017 11:57 AM PDT I'm 17 and about to graduate. I turn 18 in September. My boyfriend is 19 and he's about to graduate also. We've been dating since November of 2016. I was waiting to tell my mom I date him until graduation because he's ... you guessed it white. She found out back in January and she was not happy simply because he was white. She didn't even care to ask me if he made me happy or how he treats me that's the only thing she saw. She wants me to date some black guy like my father. Now I don't discriminate I think all races are beautiful and can make me or anyone else happy. I just happen to fall in love with my boyfriend (first love) He's caring, funny, goofy, thoughtful and he just like me. I've dated 3 people before and I've all felt awkward with him but with him ... I was not awkward at all when I first had a crush on him. It was an instant connection and he just makes me the happiest... My mom said she doesn't want to meet him but when we graduate I'm pretty sure his dad will want to meet my mom and dad and all of that. We'll be 6 months on the 15th of May and we graduate the 24th of May so I don't know what to do. I'm moving out when I'm 18 but I just want my mom to be accepting of my boyfriend because he does make me really really happy. Oh I'm black. All my family members but my moms brother have dated black people. That I know of... I've met basically his whole family except 2 of his brothers and his mom. His mom and dad are separated. His little brothers, dogs, dad, his dads girlfriend, his brothers and sister, his dads brother. They all love me, they say I'm a good girl and they haven't seen my boyfriend this happy since his first love. |
Question: Was I wrong? Do I need to mind my own business? Posted: 21 Apr 2017 11:13 AM PDT My elderly mother and her older sister have had problems in the past. They went six years without speaking until about 2012. Then they talked all the time. Recently my aunt hasn't talked to my mother in almost a month. I suggested that maybe my mom said or did something to make my aunt mad and I encouraged my mom to text my aunt and ask her what she did or said that made her mad. Now my older sister is telling me that I was wrong to even say anything to our mother. That I need to mind my own business, that it doesn't concern me and that I probably made matters worse. And that I really need to move out of our mother's house and get a life of my own. I don't think I did anything wrong. |

Question: What do you think, am I overreacting? Posted: 21 Apr 2017 10:05 AM PDT Hello I need advice on what to do, I have never been in this situation before. So I have been at my current job for almost 2 years(warehouse), I like it except for one male coworker that works in my department that literally stares for what seems like a minute and creeps me out. Just three weeks ago I got very angry and I screamed "what!" At him but he doesn't seem to care. He sees that I see him staring at my legs and has no shame. I have been trying to wear looser fitting clothes lately but nothing works. At first I used to ignore it but now for the past few 3 months or so, i have noticed that he waits for me in the hall when we go on lunch break so I can pass by and he can walk right behind to check me out I'm guessing. I used to ignore this too but it is really bothering me now because another male coworker(his friend) is starting to do the same thing. Lately he's been saying to my friend things like "she is a pretty señorita" he knows very well I am married and have 2 children, I have been having mini panic attacks when he is nearby and I feel like crying, I feel frustrated and have thought about quitting but I really need this job. I think the biggest problem is that I am very timid and can't say anything to him i wish I was more assertive, he scares me. Only 2 people know about this and yesterday I talked to my husband about it, he did tell me to let a supervisor know about it but I just want your opinion is this harrassment? |
Question: Friend wants to move in? Posted: 21 Apr 2017 09:51 AM PDT She has a cat and isn't very tidy. I am a single 25 year old who enjoys living alone I plan on dating soon so I want my privacy! The thing is she is practically homeless and waited last minute to tell me. What if her animal bring fleas to my important what if I notice she isn't being very clean. |
Question: Does anyone else not talk to coworkers for no apparent reason? Posted: 21 Apr 2017 09:02 AM PDT Do you show up to work and not say a word to any of your coworkers? Do your coworkers do this to you? The guy sitting beside me in the office would do this to me if I never spoke to him. Today, I did not say "good morning" to him (I usually do greet him). He didn't so much as look at me. By the way, we sit like four feet away from each other...all day long. There's not bad blood between us. This is just how he (and most of my coworkers, for that matter) acts. Why? |

Question: I got in trouble while house sitting for someone? Posted: 21 Apr 2017 04:22 AM PDT So I will try to make this short. I was asked to house/pet sit for this family I once summer nannied. It was only for a week and the dog was very old. Anyways, the mother is very strict. She actually fired my friend who use to be their babysitter. The kids are very very difficult as well. As strict as the mom was she told me that I was Mary Poppins and that they would never be able to find a nanny like me when I left (I had to go back to school). I mean, I am telling you, I went above and beyond for this family. So my tasks while house sitting were to let the dog out, feed dog, keep house locked, take out recyclables, and get mail everyday. I went out no more than 4 hours a day I would say. My boyfriend stayed over a couple nights because I was a little anxious staying there alone. If my boyfriend didn't stay I probably would have had my little sister stay. The house cleaner came about half way through the week and I picked up and left so she could have her space. I get a call 2 weeks later from the mom of the house I was sitting for. She started the conversation out with "who was at my house?" and I told her my boyfriend stayed there a couple times. She said that the house cleaner just reported to her that the house was trashed with food, dishes, and dog poop on the floor when she was there and the tub had stuff in it (I did take a bath and im assuming it was my epsom salts/soap scum). I was distraught. The dog poops ALL the time on the floor. It was raining and she didn't want to go out. I also remember picking up most if not all of my stuff and dishes! The lady said that she basically lost trust in me and I very much so apologized. I was very very upset. I do not recall leaving the house trashed for the cleaning lady! Not to mention, before the family came home I did ALL of their laundry and folded it and put it on their dressers. I washed and folded all of the sheets that were taken off every bed in the house. Not a dish in the sink when they came home. New sheets on the bed I slept in. Cleaned the bathroom I used. I even took them to the airport so that they didn't have to pay to leave their car there all week. I couldn't believe that she called to tell me this after everything I do for them and her kids. I would understand if I had done wrong multiple of times but gosh. I mean Im not kidding, I have had panic attacks from her conversation with me over the phone regarding this! What do I do?! |
Question: My dog passed away 3 days ago & i dont feel a thing.? Posted: 21 Apr 2017 03:52 AM PDT My dog was my life. Literally my life. The last 10 years he and i were barely apart. I made a mistake of leaving him once when he was 2 and i swore never to leave him again. Last month i found a lump on him which turned out to be cancer. The last 15 days i tried everything i could to save his life but he passed away. He stoped using his hind legs due to anemia. I d lift him up from the hind usung a bedsheet and help him walk. If anyone would ask what was wrong i wouldnt be able to hold my emotions in & cry my eyes out. I cried even while takin care of him at home. So its very weird to me why am i not feeling a thing since his death. My was my everything and im finding it very difficult to cry. I even tried to watch sad videos listen to sad music but nothing works. Why am i like this ? |

Question: Can i get out of my house if i call CPS? Posted: 20 Apr 2017 09:00 PM PDT I'm almost 17 and live my parents and sisters. My dad had a problem about 6 to 7 years ago and had to be in the hospital, he was in horrible condition and is still recovering, but hes probably good now, he wasn't able to walk or could only for limited times, now he seems fine, he has a ilestomy bag, and needs help with it sometimes. I always have to do stuff without a choice and its ridiculous. And he used to do this to everyone before he was ever even sick. I have to bring him drinks, make him food, empty his waste, always go to the store, clean stuff all the time, help him brush his teeth, and hes capable of doing this on his own. If i ever show that i dont want to do something for him i get yelled at and made to feel like i have everything in the world so i have to do it anyways or ill be grounded. My girlfriend has been here before and sees how it is because he acts this way infront of people. Every night, i have to bring him stuff he needs before i can even go to bed. All i do is stuff for him and some people know about this and think its wrong. If CPS was called, would i be able to get out of here and move in with my girlfriend. My mom thinks this way of life is somehow okay and doesn't think bad of it. I've never felt like a kid, so i always feel grown up and it sucks. I'm nervous because i'm afraid ill get in trouble if i cant leave and i just want to feel happy for once. There's a lot more to say, but limited typing space. |
Question: How do I deal with feeling bad about ageing? Posted: 20 Apr 2017 08:46 PM PDT I'm not old, I'm about to turn 34, but being a woman it's a bigger deal due to how our value is judged by our looks and due to our biological clocks ticking (I don't have kids, I wish I didn't have to think about it just yet). Most of my late teens/early twenties I was homeless. The past decade I've been unemployed due to disability. It just feels like I missed out on my best years - not just not being able to go to music festivals and partying but also not being able to go into higher education and missing out on building a career. I lost a lot all of my friends due to unemployment. Romantically, relationships haven't been terrible but I feel I settled too much and stayed in relationships longer than I should have, thus resent time wasted when now I feel like I'm having to rush to find someone in order to have kids and while the options are getting fewer. I feel like I'm being pressured into settling down when I still want to live like I'm in my twenties. I see new generations coming up, doing the things I wish I were doing, and I feel sad about my life. |
Question: Is it weird that I am best friends with my finance's sister? She's 19 im 29.? Posted: 20 Apr 2017 08:16 PM PDT She looks older than me first off so it's not like i look like a young woman and she looks like a kid. She's tall 5'11 and 250 pounds im short 5'2 110 pounds. We get mistaken for sisters often , sometimes im mistaken for a younger sister and my family and her family never think it's weird that we clicked so well and I just met her last year. The reason I'm asking is because I have a grandma complex (or whatever you'd like to call it). Despite no one ever saying or acting like it's weird how she's 19 and im 29, I feel like I am ancient and she's just a kid. She's definitely mature for her age but the number haunts me. I feel like if strangers knew i was hanging out with a 19 year old, they'd think i was some crazy old lady lol I know how silly it must sound but we are 10 years apart and i know 10 years isnt that bad considering im not even old enough to be her mother but i cant help but feel like im a weirdo. What do you think? |
Question: Should i text her? What will you do if you were in my position? Posted: 20 Apr 2017 07:16 PM PDT I met a girl at a party. We talked for a while and I ask for for if she has snapchat she said yes I told to put my number in her phone and add her on snap she said no numbers because I hate texting but we should get each others snap. Is still a possibility I can get her through snap and why won't she exchange numbers but will give me her snap thanks |
Question: Why are males so mean ? Posted: 20 Apr 2017 07:12 PM PDT I have a prosethic eye due to cancer and have been bullied my whole life because of it. As i get older I want an significant other just like everyone else does. However the moment I start talking to go rather its at work or at a college campus (I'm 23) people start basically making one of him questioning why would you talk to someone with an messed up or you could do better. Then as soon as that happens they just completely shut me out. That's not just with guys my age but those in there 30s and 40s as well aren't you suppose to become more mature as you age? However my main question is why are guys so mean and why do you guys care so much about impressing other people if you like someone that should me that. Right ? |

Question: How can I protect myself from stalkers? Posted: 20 Apr 2017 06:30 PM PDT I never want to be a victim of a stalker but I probably am a victim of an Instagram stalker though. But that seems like something that just happens and cannot be prevented. What I am talking about is an actual physical human stalker. You can never be sure that somebody is not watching you. They could be so sly about it. It could be that person you just "coincidentally" see in the same place. That may be the only time that you see them but not the only time they see you. They might just show up a few times so that you think that they are a normal passerby. Meanwhile they know exactly where you live and know what you do. They could even be watching you right now. I am not paranoid, I just think a lot |
Question: Messed up but not sure if I should apologize? Posted: 19 Apr 2017 09:52 AM PDT I've had a friends with benefits relationship with a girl for about 3 months. She's really great, smart and beautiful, but we've only been "friend". I really don't like this whole arrangement but I'm scared of pushing it. We still just hang out with mutual friends who have no idea of what's going on. Anyway, last Saturday all of our friends had a house party since everyone was home from college. A mutual friends boyfriend brought one of his friends along. My fwb and him hung out were touchy feely. He was all on her and she was just letting him. She's never done any of this infront of me and at that moment I just got so mad and went home. I didn't say goodbye to anyone and just got in my truck before I did something stupid. On Sunday she called me and asked why I went home and I went off on her. We started arguing and she said that I was overreacting so I just hung up on her. She's called and texted me a few times since but I don't know what to say. All this time I've been crazy about her and she's denied me and then she goes and does that infront of my face. But given our relationship, was I out of line? |
