I always enjoy family events so my parents say it is unhealthy. I used to get like obsessed on them but don't anymore. My folks still keep me in the dark if the extended family asks us over even when they sometimes go. There used to be bad blood in my mother's heart towards them but not anymore, yet they still keep me in the dark. I am an adult and don't feel they can hold me back but I am not told by my parents when we are invited places. They do the same to my siblings but my siblings don't care. I do.

My new gf has a kid and no it's not my kid. She just lost her job and well I do like this girl she treats me good. However She can no longer afford rent so she was forced to move into her friends. My daughter brought up about a week ago that her dad and his wife have left her home alone. I asked her if they leave her with a babysitter or friend or just completely by herself and she said "Sometimes they leave me completely alone and take my sisters and sometimes they leave me with my sisters!" ( she has 1.5 year old twin sisters with her dad and his wife) so then I asked if they just walk outside or go to the neighbors or if they actually get in the car and leave. My dad has full custody of me but he disagrees with my decision. I dont live with either of my parents at the moment, so I live with my sisters parents who adopted her(long story). I'm moving back in with my dad next year but I do not feel comfortable living with him. He mentally and physically abuses me, he tries to control my life yet he says he loves me. I am just feeling very sad, I feel tied down in life I'm 25. I have a stable job and have been working since I graduated from college. It has a been 5 years of full time work and i am getting sick of it and I want to quit my job. But I feel like i cannot do it. tied down for 2 reasons and mainly my family 1) my family is not well to do. my dad is working but my mum is not. they don't really ask me for money but it makes me feel insecure if I were to quit my job. what are we supposed to do if an emergency pops up? I am the eldest child and I only have 1 younger sibling who is not earning ok but I earn more. 2) I am going to get promoted soon. I hate it. My acne is nowhere near severe; some spots here and there, but even just putting on light matte powder blocks most of it out. My mom has a bunch of friends who live in Hong Kong and of course skincare is a big deal over there. They are constantly talking skincare. Before she really started chatting with them, she never cared about my spots. But now, she's trying to encourage me to get laser surgery to remove the natural mole on my face. She's bought tons of acne products from Hong Kong that she makes me use. She tells me that I'm "destroying my face." She is absolutely convinced that I eat 20 bars of chocolate on a daily basis and that's why I have spots, even though I hardly eat one every few days. Hey so I'm 16 and I have my exams in May (5 Scottish higher exams) and I've been really stressed lately and trying to study. But the problem is that my mums boyfriends kids who are 3 and 5 come here 3 days a week which is usually Friday, Saturday and Sunday. That's the only time I really have to study as though the week I have boxing classes, swimming and chores to do. They are always yelling and fighting with each other and running around the house playing tag and even come into my room sometimes even though they have a room for them and a play room downstairs. Let me give you some background info on myself. I'm 17 and do online school and I kept up with my work, until my brother came home. My brother is a bad kid, so bad that he was sent to the Philippines because my mom has cancer and couldn't handle him anymore. Anyway, my brother came home to visit and he DELETED all my work. He reformatted the hard drive to make room for his stupid video game. I lost all my notes and assignments. Today my monthly progress report for school was sent out and I received a Probation in all my classes because I couldn't catch up after my brother deleted everything. My mom, who was initially letting me go to NY, is now saying I can't go!! I'm not going alone, my aunt and cousin (25) are coming. I already have a ticket, but my mom says she doesn't care if she wastes the money. It isn't a matter of trust because she's going to the Philippines with my dad and letting me stay home by myself. She also keeps asking to go to California, the Grand Canyon, and a cruise. I don't know why she isn't letting me go to NY if she is letting me go to those places. I honestly don't think me getting Academic Probation was my fault and I even told her that I would catch up in all my classes before I left, just not math because Math was the bulk of stuff he deleted and there's no way I can catch up because I'm behind by 3 units, but she won't budge. Long story short. I'm 20 and I have this cousin who's a sociopath(danger to society). She's living at dad's house and I had to move out bc of her. My dad wasn't defending me. So every time I'd visit. I'd see her stare at me out if the corner of my eye. She listens to all my convos with my dad (she's an ear hustler). Whenever I talk to her dad she huffs and puffs (she's very possessive of him; doesn't have friends really). I hate my mom a lot. I literally despise her existence. She steals from me, she hates my dads family just because I like to be around them, she is a drug addict, she barely even cares about me half the time, she doesn't even try to support me and my sister. Hey . Now I am in class 11 and I am 15 years old . When I was in class 5 I was sexually abused by my elder brother he is in collage 3rd year now. At that time only I told my mother about it she told my father and everyone . Then a few days back I got the guts and asked my mother that what did you do? My mom's mom,my great aunt,and my mom all had epilepsy. my grandma died from a seizure though and so did my great aunt. my mom outgrew epilepsy. I got epilepsy when I was 14 and I am now 18. I'm not planning on having a daughter one day,but if I did,would she get epilepsy too?

Backstory: My dad gets mad over the dumbest things. He yells and hits my mom about her ex boyfriends, claims she doesn't do anything and just things that are irrelevant. So today, like 2 hours ago my dad was yelling at my mom because the order for mc donalds was too complicated, its dumb I know. When he came home he started to yell at her saying she doesnt do anything. She works for 10 hours a day, cooks, cleans, buys me and my brother everything. My dad doesnt have a job and gambles for money. I usually just cry myself to sleep as I hear them hitting / yelling because when I was smaller my brother told me to ignore it. I tried standing up for her when I was 6 but he locked me in a closet for a few hours. I was scared too ever since. Today it did it again after so many years and he grabbed me and locked me in my room and heard him hitting my mother. I was scared so I told my friends to call cops- long story short my mom told me to lie, I did. She doesnt want him in jail as she loves him alot and dont want us to live without a father. Please help, Im sick and tired of hearing my mom getting abused. It doesn't happen often but he is always mad that you can actually sense his negative vibe. Other days hes like a dad you could wish for. Im not sure what to do. Im scared if I tell the cops the truth and hes somehow gets out or turns out innocent he will abuse or hurt me. Also my dad borrowed over 1M dollars from my mother throughout the years and never payed back. He struggles to get money, even steals from my grandmas credit card. Its annoys me so much, life could be so much better without him but my mom refuses to let him go. When she asks for him to pay back, its back to abusive yelling. Im only 15 years old and experienced so much violence. I have had depression and suicidal thoughts in the past as well and my dad claims my life is perfect. I cant talk back or tell him how i feel without him yelling and getting mad at me. I have to act ok all the time and get perfect grades. People make fun of me last year for being depress all the time as well so its hard on me at home to not cry in front of them and not tell anybody about my family

i really thought he stopped, until i saw him sneaking around a cigar store and going outside for a 'coffee' break. im actually really mad that he didnt tell us and lied about it to the point where if he does get cancer or a disease, ill blame him for not listening and go on with my life. im actually scared i wont care bc its all his fault that he dies. he always says, "i just smoked one" and i hate having to tell him to stop bc he either ignores me or gets mad at me or just says "i will soon". help me pls

Hello guys I'm 14 and we live in our grandma's house. And it's really horrible in here. I always feel anxiety, angry, sad mixed up inside me like always. My mom and dad both work and my mom go home every week or 4 days. She knew whats happening to here In us. Yesterday my step family moved in with me.y dad went to work and my step family hates me. I havs my step mom and my step sis who is 14 too. A reminder: I m 14. Recently my dad has been walking around the house with no underwear (or shorts, absolutely nothing) on, and it makes me extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately my parents keep their bedroom door open 24/7 unless they re, well, you know, and my bedroom is directly across from theirs. I'm 16 years old and I'm in 11th grade. My parents stalk me. First they started with my older sister; my mom would make fake accounts on instagram and twitter to follow my sister's private accounts so she could see what she was posting. A little while ago, my mom found out I was smoking hookah and I had no idea how until I realized she was following me on snapchat under someone else's name. Aside from catfishing us, my parents also made us all download a location tracker on our phones so they can see where we are at all times. Then came the security cameras around our house. I can't tell you how many times I've seen my parents sitting in their car following me and my friends just so they can see what we're doing even though I already told them we were just hanging out. Every time I ask to go out, my parents want to know exactly who's going to be there, where we're going, what we plan on doing, and if their parents know. They don't even let anyone drive me places because they want to be the ones to drive me to make sure I'm not lying about where we're going. A few months back I got caught sneaking out (I told them I just went for a walk to the park right down the street from our house) and now every night they turn on the alarm so that it will go off if any doors or windows open. None of my friends parents are this obsessive. What do I do? My anxiety is through the roof and my friends dont even want to hang out with me outside of school anymore. My grades also aren't the best due to severe anxiety, depression, and attention issues so they often use that as a reason to not let me go out at all. I feel like I'm on house arrest.

So, It was family movie night and I was finishing an episode of my show in my room on my laptop. My little sister kept coming in to bug me and yell in my face about how i have to go out to the living room. My show had about 4 minutes left and I was going to go watch the movie in a couple of minutes. After a little bit, she picked up one of my favorite books and ripped a few pages out because I wasn't listening. I immediately got up. I was so pissed actually I was going to teach her a lesson (cause thats what older siblings are for) I was frustrated, upset and mad. I chased her out there and she ran right past my mom. My mom just pushed it off that she just ruined my favorite book that I payed 25$ for. Not thinking before I spoke I told my mom to get off of me and I told her that the last movie she picked sucked. She must have taken it like I told her that all of her choices suck. I feel horrible because she does so much for me. I apologized but I dont think it's enough.

My grandma recently came to visit us. She gave mom a new bathrobe as a gift. Mom was very happy, she threw her old robe and now wears grandma's gift. However, I have noticed that, under certain lighting, you can tell that mom is nude under the robe. You can see the crack between her cheeks, you can see the outline of the nipples. So my mom thinks I don't care about her. She keeps repeating herself everyday about how I don't communicate to her and that we're going to loose connection. I keep telling her that I do but when she's busy watching tv, she just ignores me. When I do the same, she'll call me out and say my personality will never change. My 12 year old brother somehow found a way to hack people in a video game and steal all their items. Also, he somehow doubles fake in-game currency and uses that glitch to buy people's things so they can get permanently banned for having glitched currency or whatever. I'm 15 and I know very little about video games. Lots of people are complaining about him and they're threatening him too. Can he legally get in trouble for doing this if it does not involve real money? (Like if he's just making the game unfair and upsetting for everyone else but isn't stealing actual money).
