I'm definitely in love and sometimes I just wish we were in bed together nothing sexual but just holding her and letting her know everything's alright. She's the love of my life, my everything. I know it's not very masculine but we've told each other how highly we feel about each other. She's just so amazing & she said the same about me. I live for her emojis. I wanna just cuddle and nurture her which I guess it's weird. Am I weird? I know I am but ****. She makes me smile, she's been my high. He ended up marrying the girl he cheated on me with instead and they are still married. It took me a long time to recover from that, I even had to go into therapy. I have been single for 2 years (since then) now and its not because I haven't tried to find someone else, I truly have been trying. I signed up on a dating website and everything months ago, went on a handful of dates. I didn't feel chemistry with anyone. Now I'm terrified that I will never find another man who I love. I worry that I will end up alone and broken. I am 24 years old and the woman my ex-fiancé married was only 20. Its not fair. I am losing hope. I know I'm young but I haven't connected with anyone in two years and its scaring me. Can you give me any advice or words of wisdom? |

He'll yell at me or do something abusive and then turn around the next day and do something sweet. As we speak he's out at the bar. I have no friends. The one friend I had ditched me after I told her my husband was abusing me. Haven't heard from her in months. I have a big family, but they're all overseas. I have a lot of interns laws, that I've never met because my husband doesn't want to speak to them. Our child is 6 and has never met relatives on his dad's side. He's only close to those on my side. I look on Facebook and see all these happy couples with their inlaws and friends and I feel terrible. I feel like I'm invisible. I wake up feeling sad everyday. I sometimes even break down and cry. I work, but have trouble there too because the girls smile in my face and talk behind my back. They say I dress too nice and everybody likes me. They're upset with my outer appearance, but don't know how sad I am. I feel hopeless. My mum is the only person that calls me. How do I stop feeling so sad? |

I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old. My husband has hit me and I have hit him back we equally have fought with each other. Last night my husband choked me in the kitchen and I tried so hard get away from him. He did it in front of my children. He followed me upstairs and when he pushed me I bit him then he punched me in the face. When the police came they arrested my husband and part of me feels like there were times I should have been arrested too. Now he is in jail on bond. I don't have any family or close friends. I know together were not good together but I feel like maybe the police didn't arrest me because I'm female and my babies kept hugging me and my husband was cooperative. The victims advocate is making me think of all the times I hit my husband first and he never pressed charges so now I don't know what to do because everyone wants me to get a protection order. But I don't deserve to be free either. I may have to give up my babies. |

She hates talking to other people, and has me do all the errands that involve going out in public, or calling people on the phone. The only way she communicated is through email and text. She has even started to be that way with me. She doesnt greet me when I come home, and doesn't like to look at me, but has no problem sending me texts from the other room. She even texts me when we're in bed next to each other!! We broke up very amicably about a year ago and have spoke about me changing my last name for a very long time. So I know it sounds crazy but its something we have discussed at length. |

My girlfriend had been depressed and stressed for a few weeks now, I tried everything to support her, but it wasn't like she just didn't care anymore. When I practically forced myself in, a huge argument erupted between me, my girl, her co-workers, her boss, etc..Blaming me of being the reason why she was feeling so depressed. Then she flatly states that sh's been married for 2 years back home and that she never loved me, it was all an act, a game. I started sending her emails and all of a sudden some other email starts mailing me, asking what my problem was with "my" gf. It was her husband who didn't know she had been seeing someone else. They are going to divorce now. In the meantime I am heartbroken because we (gf & I) had started making plans to go on vacation and began talking about our future. And now she tells me she is married and never loved me. I'd say I was heartbroken but I actually feel numb and dead inside. Like I went into some kind of trauma. I feel like I'm losing it, I miss her intensely and want things back to how they were. But she never loved me she said. I feel like I will never recover from this. Before my husband and I got married, he lived 4 hours away from me on a military base, so we had a long distance relationship. During that time, he was on a bunch of dating sites, talking to his exes, and just sexting random people. He claimed the reason he was like that then was because he was lonely. Fast forward 2 years and he isn't doing anything like that anymore. I had a crappy full time job and just finished college, he got out of the army and is now a stay at home dad which he loves. Anyway, I was offered a job in Antarctica that requires me leaving in a month and I'll be gone for 6 months. He's very excited for me, but I'm very scared that he'll become lonely again and start to cheat on me. He gets very offended any time I bring up my fears because he's changed, and says he's not that person anymore. Anyway, I just don't know what to do and I'm looking for advice. While I'm gone I'll still be able to call him everyday and talk to him and my baby girl on voice chat and posts pictures and videos on Facebook for them, but there's no Skype because of limited wifi there. I'm just so scared I'll lose him but I know he'll be very upset at me if I don't take this job since it is my dream job. How do I get over this fear and trust that he won't hurt me again like before? He followed me upstairs I remember falling trying to get away from him fighting for my life then he punched me in my face. My friend called the police because I had my phone on upstairs and she heard me crying for help. I had a panic attack and began screaming for my life. My husband mocked me while I layer on the floor screaming and told my children not to go to me. I have 2 boys. He was arrested. I am a stay at home mother and my husband is in the Navy reserves after 7 years of navy. I don't know what to do next and I can't go to family because I don't have any family. No exaggeration I was abused by my mother and I don't know my father and my siblings are scattered across the US. |
