Lots of times she would hook up with her ex and then we'd get back together, and of course the problem wasn't fixed. There was lack of communication in our relationship, sometimes to the point I'd ask her if she even wanted to be with me and she'd say yea, stop being so insecure, but when she barely said much too me each time we hung out I kinda felt like she didn't want to be with me. She wouldn't answer my phone calls, ever! And she would always snap at me, over just about anything. She started becoming distant lately, and she safeguarded her phone a lot, and she did put me down as a man, by insulting certain aspects of my body, she also said to me a couple times when we were out drinking that I wasn't allowed to drink beer because I needed to lose a few pounds. Ultimately I broke up with her. I was feeling insecure about myself tho lately when she did this stuff to me and I'd ask her if she was cheating on me, or if she wanted another man, because the sex was getting fewer and far in between so I was starting to wonder if she had someone on the side. And when she insulted my manly hood and my weight I started to feel real insecure and started asking her questions and then she would roll her eyes everytime I asked her about the stuff she was doing so I broke up with her. Then one day when I finally talked to her, when I she stood up and turned to me, I realized her face was less pretty than I would have imagined (because I can see it at an angle when I'm behind her) and she get a bit wider at her hips and thighs. So, once again another day a few weeks later I thought the back view of her was pretty cute, but then I talked to her again and once again thought she seemed less cute. Here's the kicker: Once again after not talking to her in like 2 weeks , I actually properly introduced myself (we never knew eachothers names) and I thought "yeah, she's definitely not that cute." I had another converstaion with him two months later (we didn't get to talk very often) and he was also smiling the entire time and when I said hey he said hey! How are you? I also followed him on twitter and then instagram a week later and he followed back! Recently he asked to sit with me and my friend at a small lunch table when he had plenty of friends in the library. He knew me better than my friend. This is what started our firendship. We started talking at lunch about politics, social situations and school. Ever since then he always says hi to me in the halls and whenever he sees me he even says how are you? He even goes out of his way to say hi to me. Also he liked my latest instagram post of me and my friend (the one I was with at lunch) : he doesn't like posts often. He says hi to me even when he's with his guy friends and friends that are girls. He's a super nice and friendly person but he is not everybody's friend but super kind to everyone. I m a junior and hes a sophmore, but I have a summer birthday so I m younger than all the juniors anyway. I really like him. I think he respects me and thinks I m cool too because he always seems interested in my opinions and he always laughs at my jokes. Also, my best friend, who s friends with him and knows that I like him, has told me he s mentioned me a couple times. But, I don t know if he likes me back. The main reason is because, a couple weeks ago, a friend tagged him in a photo on instagram, so I followed him. He accepted my request and followed me back and he even liked one of my photos. But then, like a week later he deleted his whole instagram. Even pictures of him on other people s accounts are gone. I know this because I lightly stalked him on instagram, but like who hasn t:) The point is it s kinda weird. But I don t really know because he s one of those people who has like 5 photos and like 500 followers and never likes anything so maybe he just didn t like it that much. So I texted him and asked why and he read it and didn't respond and it's been a couple hours. I haven't said anything else and I'm not going to. I don't know what happened I know he has a temper but I didn't do anything wrong. Not that I know of. We aren't dating but last night he was being nicer than normal (not that he normally isn't) and ifk the way he was talking was different but good different and out of all the time I've known him the way he was acting made me think he liked me more not that he was going to block me. Breaking up was necessary, though... he hadn't given himself enough time to be alone after his last girlfriend before we got together, and she has a lot of personal problems that he has always helped her through, so they stayed in very close contact while we were dating. This made me really uncomfortable and I was always very paranoid that he was not over her, and my worries led to a lot of arguing that eventually made him confused and wonder if his feelings for her were back. He knows he never stopped loving me, but the stress between us made him look back on the good times with her and he feels so guilty for it. I want him to get through this confusion, so we amicably broke up, but it's been so hard on us. I still feel like I need him and whenever something upsets me, my first instinct is to turn to him like I always would, but I don't want to hurt him any more than I have already. I'm terrified that he will eventually go back to the old girl because he's never really let go of her, and she was so horrible to him. Even if I can't be with him, I want him to be happy, and that's not the case with her. Is there any way I can help him recover without making things worse? We've both been experiencing cycles of depression because of everything, and I've made an appointment with a counselor but he's not receptive to professional help. He doesn't open up to anyone except me and I don't want to make him internalize everything but I'm afraid my presence hurts him more. |
| Posted: 05 Mar 2016 06:31 PM PST On the school bus I asked a girl that I really like a lot if I can have her number. I said " excuse me Melissa my names James and I like you a lot and I was wondering I could have your number!?" Then she said yea sure and she seemed happy that I asked her when she said that and then she gave me her number and said nicely, "text me" then I said " okay is tonight okay (for me to text her) and she said yea sure, very nicely. Then later that night I texted her and said " hey this is James, is this Melissa?" And the next day which is today, she hasent gotten back to me yet. So I texted to her" Melissa, did you get my text last night? Now six hours later She still hasent gotten back to me. I caught this girl staring at me a couple times and by a few other Sighns I think she likes me back. And she checked my phone to make sure that I type her number in right. If you have any ideas on why she won t answer my back then PLEASE tell me. This really is killing me. I like this girl a lot. Thanks! |

I recently went on a couple dates with this girl and we both really like each other. We haven't been able to hang out the past couple days because we've both been so busy, but today I was thinking about her and I had this really weird feeling in my chest and I realized that I missed her. Even though we've only been on a few dates. We actually met a couple months ago before but we only talked briefly. I had a crush on her then and when we started talking again recently she told me that she also had a crush on me when we met before! We were just both too shy to approach each other. And it turns out we also have a lot in common. Anyways, as weird as it sounds do you ever miss someone that you're just starting to get to know? |
| Posted: 05 Mar 2016 06:24 PM PST So I know for her sake I should just stick it out and get through prom, but I'd also like to go with someone else (no clue who yet, but someone). The relationship is ending at or before graduation, and we both know that, but I just feel like that's wasting our time, when I could be having fun with other people instead. I just feel like a dick if I were to break up with her which would mean she probably wouldn't have a date. What should I do? |
