Question: Divorce process for technically married but separate? Posted: 06 Mar 2016 09:11 PM PST My dad married my mom when I was about three years old. When I was about five years old, my mom kicked my dad out for certain reasons I m not going to go into, and that was that. I am almost 18 years old now, and my dad is still technically married to my mom even though they ve been separated all these years and now wants a formal divorce. I also have a younger sister that 15 years old (from my dad). Could my dad be facing any child support issues if he decides to go through a divorce? Any other fees or payments he needs to worry about even if my mom doesn t want anything from him? |

Question: Can I prevent my wife from renting out part of my house? Posted: 06 Mar 2016 08:37 PM PST My wife of 6 years has moved out of my house I owned before the marriage and have a prenuptial that states the house is to remain mine even if we divorced. I am very busy at work and don't wish to purse a divorce right now and can't afford the legal fees right now either as I have debts. My wife is trying to push me to divorce now as she has no money for a divorce either. I want to know if I can legally lock her out now that she is no longer living there? She claims she doesn't need my permission to rent out the part she use to live in. I just want to lock her out for now until I can come up with the money for a divorce. We are both 40+ and no kids involved. Any help appreciated! |

Posted: 06 Mar 2016 07:55 PM PST I am turning 26 and I am sill a virgin. People keep telling me its not a big deal and that I should just sit back and passively wait "for the special one". Of course these people know because they have or had relationships. Not hypocrites at all. If its true that sex is not a big deal then why is rape such a devastating crime? No big deal if it happens or not then I should go out and rape someone? Also why do married couples with kids get divorced over lack of sex and cheating if sex is not a big deal? I think its common knowledge kids do better in families with mother and father. If sex does not matter why don't those couples not undergo the drama, chaos, and financial ruin of divorce? |
Question: Considering abortion after unplanned pregnancy with man I'm having an affair with? Posted: 06 Mar 2016 06:39 PM PST I am in a terribly messed up situation that I take responsibility for. My husband has been cheating on my since the beginning of our marriage, so I pursued an affair with another guy. Having suspected that I was pregnant, I find out I am pregnant using a test strip at home. My spouse and I have not slept with each other since the beginning of my affair, which started just about two years ago. The problem is that I am still married to this man, and I don't know how to leave because I have a three year old child with this man. His incessant cheating led me to have an affair with another man, and I just wanted a partner whose love and relationship with me was genuine. Is there anyone who is pro-abortion on here? |

Posted: 06 Mar 2016 05:34 PM PST My husband is found out kissed another girl at work a month ago . He admitted to it and I know for a fact she is not in the picture. He has been doing everything to make it up to me . He even bought us to get matching get tatoos. Now this morning I found condoms in the car 2 of one brand and one of a different brand. I confronted him about it and he said he told me about them 2 yrs ago . He found them on the ground at work when someone stole them . .he put them in the survival pack as a alternate use . He swears he is just keeping them to make a fire or something. I admit the story sounds strange but two of the condoms aren't his size . Also as the two years ago I don't remember him saying anything about picking up condoms but I do remember the video he saw on YouTube that shows alternate uses. . Last detail is the condom expires in 2018 if that helps |

Question: Public Advice Needed...Divorce or not to Divorce!!? Posted: 06 Mar 2016 11:31 AM PST So I've been with my husband for 10+ years, since I was 17. Sadly, we have just grown different. Here are my issues with the relationship? His lack of "Hustle" and ambition. Its 2016 if you want to go places in life you gotta have this!!! his lack of spirituality, the fact that he is more than twice my age with no money or assets except the few we accrued together (which is not much), his arm long criminal record and his lack of education... (he's illiterate, I've tried classes...self teaching he just doesn't want to learn). I will soon have my masters in nursing and I value education to my core!! and the fact that my mom hates him. (It really complicates simple things like X-mas, vacations, and family dinners). Heres why I haven't left...we have a child together, he is overall a good person...doesn't cheat on me or beat me...we've been through a lot and I genuinely believe he loves me. The only reason I'm asking for public help is because I just turned 27, 30 is right around the corner, and after 10 years I'm still not truly happy and I believe there is better out there for me. But I don't want to set my self up to put into a worse situation. There are some really horrible people out there, I have a young child to think about, and I'm not exactly excited to join the whole black single mom parade...SO tell me, Do you think I should quit whining and find contentment with my relationship or should I take the plunge! |
Posted: 06 Mar 2016 11:07 AM PST I have a question for divorcees who have children with their exes. Is hanging out with and having family dinners with your ex misleading to your kids? Im asking this because my son keeps asking me if his father and I are going to get back together and my son is making it unceasing hard for me to date and move on with my life because of some of his behaviors. I have dinner and lunch with him and his father 2-3 times a week and we get along well. We divorced because after being together for over a decade my ex husband would not get help for his alcohol and pornography addiction and was very emotionally/verbally abusive towards me. Now that we are divorced we get along much better however I feel I am misleading my son. My ex also inquires about my dating life frequently and Id rather not discuss this with him. I am ready to move on with my life and have no desire to get back with my ex husband at all and never will. What do you recommend? |

Question: How can I forgive my husband? Posted: 06 Mar 2016 05:57 AM PST I am married to a man with 2 kids. He is a great father and has never been married until now. During my pregnancy I've been treated horribly though and he has refused to come to my most important appointment and that means a lot. He says sorry but he has canceled on so many of my appointments that I have my family coming Now. But the hard part is his other kids mom's had so much support from him. He didn't even know if one of his children was his for sure but was there for that woman even after she cheated on him. He never missed an appointment and she lives 4 hours away. I am overcome with feelings of rage every time i think about it. I need help getting over this because my husband is not there for me at all. And I regret marrying a man when I feel he loved someone else more to be with them even in their hard times. |

Question: How am I supposed to trust that my future husband wont cheat on me? Posted: 06 Mar 2016 03:51 AM PST I've had boyfriends cheat on me in the past. I've also had guy friends confide in me that they want to cheat on their girlfriends. I am really scared that my future husband will cheat on me, because it seems so common. How do people go into marriage with so much on the line? How do people just turn a blind eye to all the what ifs and potential hurt and take the plunge anyway? How do you trust your partner when you can't know everything? |
