Question: My mom is upset we are going to rent an apartment and not live with her? Posted: 05 Mar 2016 12:57 PM PST So, my husband and I just sold our house. We were going to stay at my parents house for a year and save a big down payment on another house. We decided today we would rather rent an apartment and not buy another house for 3 to 4 years and would like our own space and to be completely on our own still. My mom is all upset because I told her we aren't going to be staying at her house anymore. She is literally having a mental breakdown. How do I handle this? |
Question: How do I tell my boyfriend that I cheated on him with his sister? Posted: 05 Mar 2016 12:56 PM PST I am a young woman, 22 years old, I am with my boyfriend for three years, we love each other, and we plan to get married soon, but recently something happened and now everything is confused in my head. I am very close to his sister, we get along very well, (by the way she is 20 years old) Well, in one evening when my boyfriend was out of town with his work, we were alone at home, we drank something, we have fun, that between us girls, well, at one point, she proposed me that we try something new, then she kissed me, I kissed her back, and then, slowly, easy, we remained naked, and that was our night, the problem is that I liked and now I do not know what to do... |
Question: Why is this guy acting like this to me ? Posted: 05 Mar 2016 12:40 PM PST So this guy I used to see a lot used to be really nice to me. he also used to try and hug me , & when he did he would hug me really tight. He would tell me I looked nice a lot & wanted to pick me up a lot (which is weird). The last thing he did was give me a special nickname. I was always polite & nice in return. He once then told a girl sitting by me that he tried being friends but SOME people just aren't very friendly & just aren't worth it& then he turned bright red. after that day he has turned extremely nasty towards me constantly insulting me, (thing like ugly & dumb) & he called me an arrogent ***** & that nobody likes me. he gets worse everytime I see him & has been going on for a month now. I have never been mean to him what happened ???! We are 18 if that helps. |
Question: My fiance was talking to another woman but stopped. What should I do? Posted: 05 Mar 2016 10:28 AM PST My fiance had been texting on his phone a lot more and taking more photos of himself last week so I got a little suspicious... right or wrong, I went through his phone while he was showering this morning. I saw a bunch of messages between him and this woman he works with. He initiated things by asking her to get coffee with him and then texts her and says he wanted to see if she was interested in him like he is in her. She reciprocated the interest via text and said "should I turn a blind eye?" (she must know about me) and he said he was looking for casual fun. They texted for a week straight, sending each other raunchy pictures, sexting a bit, and talking about having sex. Apparently they kissed too after going out to lunch. But then... he blew her off last weekend. Apparently they were going to get together but him and I went to a cake tasting for our wedding. Two days later, she texted asking if they were still pursuing each other and he replied "Starting to have second thoughts after this weekend (**when we went to the cake tasting & had a great time**) to be honest. I think I want to step back and analyze for a bit." I have no idea what to make of all this. Do you think he still has feelings for her or no? The last message between them was last Tuesday, almost a week ago. |
Question: Embarrassing problem? Posted: 05 Mar 2016 09:37 AM PST So at work I bought a lot of candy and my manager said something to me about it and it was very embarrassing. But then a week later one of my coworkers told me that she told everyone about it and they were even reenacting it I feel so humiliated what do I do?? |
Question: My dad is cheating, what should I do? Posted: 05 Mar 2016 09:34 AM PST I discovered my dad is cheating on my mom with a woman he met on facebbok, they've never met in person but I heard them trying to set up a date and I want to make it stop before it's too late. These are options I'm considering, which would you choose if you were in my position? - Pretend I never heard anything and let happen what has to happen. - Confront my dad, and force him to stop before they actually meet, without hurting my mother. - Tell my mother - this will hurt my mother and will probably end up in a divorce, which I don't want to happen. What would you do? I think I'm going for ther 2nd option but I would like other people's opinions. Thank you |

Question: My dad is cheating on my mom, should I tell him I know about it? Posted: 05 Mar 2016 08:22 AM PST I heard my dad setting up a date with a woman he met on facebook to "talk and maybe something more". Should I tell him I know what he's doing or should I pretend I don't know about anything? If I talk with him and I start crying I think he'll stop, but things will be weird between us. If I don't, I fear he might fall for this woman (for now, it's only for sex. He loves my mother and treats us very well, he also told her that my mother is too afraid of trying new things in the bedroom). Please help me, what should I do? Thank you in advance Also, telling my mother is not an option because I don't want them to get a divorce |
Question: Is it cheating to make sexual comments on the Chive? Posted: 05 Mar 2016 06:59 AM PST My SO has made comments of a sexual nature on Chive with out my knowledge. I'm not sure how I feel about it, just looking for advice. I keep myself looking amazing and have even purchased new bed room items to spice up our long lasting relationship. I didn't mean the stumble on them but when I did I was up front about it. I tried not to judge, but it hurt that my SO would hide something like this. I kind of feel betrayed, yet I kind of understand that it's just porn. However some comments were very graphic in nature. |
Question: How do you handle people like this? Posted: 05 Mar 2016 05:57 AM PST There are a lot of people in my area that suppresses themselves so they give you this false impression that they're stupid, uneducated, and uncultured. And then suddenly you'd find them to do bad things, but done in a way that could only be achieved by a expert. Also they would sometimes just suddenly turn around and talk to me in lingo only used by a doctor or lawyer. They seem to do things that would just flip you over and ask them 'why didn't they go to college to get a degree?' It's like why are they playing dumb and living the low life when they could be ritch? However it seems that all of the intellectual things they do are only for evil intent, Girls in this area could have a person hung and have their hands clean, so could the guys i honestly am laying low, but why are these people like this? |
Posted: 05 Mar 2016 05:40 AM PST I mean seriously more and more jobs are just becoming cruddy part time jobs and both US guys and ladies are for the most part so shallow and bad and narcissistic that dating or marrying is stupid when you've gotta get more money and pay off your debts and penny pinch every time. Pets cost more and more and are getting unaffordable, even something like fish require big money and time commitment which we don't have now. And most pets are so badly bred that you'll just pay through the nose to keep them OK like going to the vet or even just constantly having to give them meds and clean their cage or tank And now it's basically impossible to raise kids and live OK unless you're from rich or upper middle class families. This question belongs in this section since it's a very real question about marriage and divorce |
Question: Where does your strength come from!? Posted: 05 Mar 2016 05:14 AM PST Where do you get your strength and motivation for life? What do you build it upon when everything is so temporary?... |
Question: I'm not happy with my boyfriend but he's going through a tough time? Posted: 05 Mar 2016 03:19 AM PST We've been dating for 8 months & he's 32. He does tiring manual work & prefers to go home & stop off at his friends for half an hour before going home to sleep, rather than stay at mine, which is close to where he works atm. He says he needs a routine in the week, but it's not because he doesn't want to see me. So now we see each other on weekends, but for 3weekends now he's working to save money to move. He gets up at 6:30 & I don't see him in the day. This is the 3rd time he'll be moving since we met. He is thinking about staying at his friend's who is an old lazy man, rather than stay a mine while he looks for a place. He says if i want to stay with him, I'm going to have to bare with him, because it will be a tough time. He has no family around him. He seem paranoid I'm cheating & jokes about it. It's like he expects me to leave him. He's so affectionate & sweet, but we ahrdly go out & make memories like couples should. I care about him a lot, but it shouldn't be like this at 8months. I look at all my other friends going out and having fun. He suggested we go cinema & dinner recently, because he knows things are not going in the right direction. He says he needs a holiday. Is it best to break up? Last night he asked what was wrong, because I was not being my usual self. |
Question: Should I go to Germany? Posted: 05 Mar 2016 03:13 AM PST So I have the option to go to Germany for 3 days in April, but I'm not sure if I should go, because the plane ticket is really expensive and I'd be leaving for London the day after I get back home. Also, it's a work trip for my mom so I'd spend most of the day alone and the evening most likely stuck with her friends, so I'm not sure how much of the city I'll be able to enjoy. I have to pay for the plane ticket and I already paid for my ticket to London, which was already pushing my budget. But I'd really like to see a new country. What should I do? |

Question: Why do people assume that dad is around? Posted: 04 Mar 2016 10:22 PM PST People often ask me something like "why didn't your dad teach you..." Or something along those lines. Do they expect him to visit me as a ghost to teach me things? I say that, and they just say "oh" and don't even bother to apologize. |

Question: Guys please help me? Posted: 04 Mar 2016 08:01 PM PST I really love my boyfriend and want him to forgive me, so I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I have an idea where I would get people from all over the world to write something about love on a sign, with #giveheranotherchance written on the bottom and Then, I'd need you guys to send the pictures so that I can combine them and hopefully send them to him. Thanks a lot, I appreciate any help |
Question: Am I wrong for not moving out of town to be with my BF? Posted: 04 Mar 2016 07:59 PM PST First off, I've only been with my BF for 5 months, so I don't want to move in AT ALL yet even though he wants me to. But it's getting to the point where he wants to build a house on his parents land. This is where his 2 sisters and parents live, in a big open field, and our front yard would be his parents backyard. I don't live near him. We are 1 hour and 20 minutes apart. I told him numerous times I don't have great gas mileage. Right now I have too many commitments here. Work, college, fire dept. He really has nothing holding him down, and doesn't even live near his job. He told me last night he wants to build on that land and have his family there eventually. I told him I'm wiling to leave, but not that far. I mentioned meeting in the middle, and I'd even buy the land if he's concerned about it being free. But he didn't say much more about it. I'd have to leave my job, my friends (because a majority wouldn't drive that far to hang out), my family, and find a school closer. I don't want to be unhappy out there, and if it didn't work out I'd be stuck working a job that far and lost everything. I'm not sure what else to say to him? |
Question: Easy question! 10 points!? Posted: 04 Mar 2016 07:59 PM PST This guy I talk to talks about making me pregnant. He says he will make me a mother and talks about spreading his seed. He also asked me if I'm on the pill once. Do you think that's weird? |

Posted: 04 Mar 2016 07:07 PM PST how can i stop it? she already needs to get away from her family but i don't know what i can do from here. she lives in las vegas and i live in wisconsin... her mom is emotionally abusive, and has kept her from going to the hospital even when she was in excruciating pain, so much so that she couldn't move. she is emotionally and physically damaging her--even if not in a standard way... please, is there anything i can do for her? i'm 17, and she's 16. my parents are almost as emotionally abusive as hers, and i also need to get away... so her moving in with us is not an option. my parents aren't the most LGBT+ accepting. please, can i call CPS or someone to help her? i can't stand to see her suffering, and i can't let her move to the philippines. she's so unhappy and depressed, please... |

Question: Is my boyfriend & his sister too close? Not comfortable with their relationship..? Posted: 04 Mar 2016 05:20 PM PST I ve been with my boyfriend for almost 3 years. We have a child together. I m honestly not comfortable with his relationship with his sister. He s 18 & she s 25 & I feel like they re too close. He can not go a day without talking to her. He always pops up at her house & she ll open the door when she s half naked. They have 5 other brothers & she doesn t talk to any of them, just my boyfriend. She also has 3 kids & my boyfriend gives her kids so much attention & always talks about them with her but barely shows the same attention to his own child. She takes videos of him & posts statuses about him trying to be funny CONSTANTLY, you wouldn t know she had 5 other brothers. She invites him over with all her OLDER friends to drink allllll the time. They go to stores together, every where. One time the power was out & she invited him to a hotel with her and her kids but didn t invite any of her other brothers. & I actually flipped out about this & accused them both of being incest. They didn t deny it they just argued back with me. I m totally over this ****. I need answers or something. ALSO one time when he was in jail she always posted things about him & would say "Free MY GUY" & she would capitalize just like that. & that would REALLY piss me off! I would never call my brother "my guy". i think it's fishy tbh. |
Question: Is this married man acting strangely or is it my imagination? Posted: 04 Mar 2016 05:19 PM PST This married guy I've been working with (he's a client of our co.) often talks about his friends, his daughter but... he only mentioned his wife once. He'll say things like 'I was out in my best friend's place for dinner last night' or 'I went away on vacation with my friends'.Today I left the company I'm with and he called my boss telling her that he's going to move the account to continue dealing with me. I found it strange as my boss is v good friends with a colleague of his. Ok, maybe he really likes my work...but considering the way he never mentions his wife? Well, I am a very upright person...would never encourage a married guy..but, do you think he likes me? |
