Posted: 01 Nov 2015 05:09 PM PST There's this stray cat that hangs out near my patio and it had kittens so this annoying little kid next door always comes into my patio (which is private property) like every hour and it's so damn annoying they come just to try to see the cats and when I tell them to get out she started pulling the race card saying you're only mean to me because I'm brown and why am I only mean to black people? That's not true I kick them out of my patio because they're annoying and won't leave. One time I yelled at them to get away from here and they start mocking my voice and start saying they're going to tell their mom and dad on me like disrespectful little brats. I put a lock on my gate but they still try to come into my patio. Why are some kids so ****** annoying |

I'm in 9th grade and in the marching band and she is an 8th grade marcher which means she marches in the Highschool marching band even though he is in middle school but she cusses me out, calls me names and stuff and I don't even know what to do. We are both girl tuba players so we have to spend time together and we both go to the same (small) church, which I have gone to all my life and he joined about a year ago. On the day of, my friend said she couldn't sleep over at my house because her mom hadn't met mine before, (my mom didn't know hers either) so the sleepover was moved to her house. My mom said that i couldn't sleep over there because she saw it as an insult, like there was something wrong with my house and parents, but not hers. while i couldn't sleep over, i could only go trick or treating. when my mom dropped me off i asked where she was going while my friends were next to me and she said "why do you care" and in a rude tone, asked the friend what time to pick me up. when we were done and i had gone back to her house, i called my mom to see one last time if i could sleep over. She started yelling through the phone, speaking rudely about my friends and her mother, while she could hear all of it. she picked me up 10 minutes later. basically, my halloween (my favorite holiday) was ruined, and that was probably the only opportunity to have a sleepover in the whole year, seeing as we don't have them often. i'm now embarrassed to even talk to my friend in school, and i now feel that i can't have her sleep over here ever again because of my mother, and i can't go there. what should i do? |

On one hand I'm like ugh I don't wanna go, I'd rather be at a concert but then I also want to have a date and feel pretty for once (I have really low confidence) and just have fun because I'll only ever have one junior prom. I go to a small school and am not interested in anyone romantically. The guy I was thining of asking (as a friend, of course) was asked by my other friend.. but here's the thing. She was asked by someone else and accepted and then asked this guy, so now they're going as like a 3 way group date? Idk, it seems really rude and unfair to me.. All of my friends have dates (except for one but she's thinking of asking someone) and I'm sick of being the odd one out and is it really so wrong I don't want to be alone for once? |

I only found out because of snapchat. They hadn't told me about any plans to go out and when i found out by watching their stories one of them quickly covered up by saying "oh we thought you were busy that's why we didn't invite you". When we go outside I wanted candy so some people like to leave the bowl outside so they don't ring to bell And I was going next door across the street after like 5 houses of checking this man was outside on the sidewalk. He said "what are you doing" I said "looking for candy"I said it so nervously, and he said "I ran out of candy at 7'o clock" but he said that so rudley. I ran back to the house and my friend n crush could hear him but not clearly. He probably thought I was ding dong dinching but I didn't tell them that. The first thing that I wanna share is that, when I'm working on making something, my friend will take it and start changing it. One time I was making a vase out of clay, and she took it from me and started bending it until a piece broke off. Then she tried fixing it, and it just looked worse. Also, everyday my friend will ask me to get her supplies. I'll be working on whatever I'm making, and my friend will say something like "Hey, go get a bag so I can put my extra clay in it." Or "Hey I need a sponge, a carving tool, and some water." By the time I get situated and start working on my project, the class is almost over. Another thing my friend always does is she'll say "Hey ask the teacher when this assignment is due" or "Ask him if he can share his clay" And when I say "Hold on, I'm trying to fix my project " she gets angry and says "Just go do it." She always wants me to do everything for her, and I just can't take it. I understand if I was already up and she asked me politely if I could bring something to her, but I'll be working on a project and she won't be doing anything, and she'll nag me until I do it. And I also would understand if her and I both had the same question and she wanted me to ask, but she'll want me to ask people something that isn't related to me. What should I do? I tried talking to her about it, but she just gets angry. |

Its been a month and i still can't get over her. On top of that, my friends are starting to mix with the wrong crowd, guys who drive drunk and have horrible moral values that are way lower than my standards. I honestly can't watch my ex become involved in these horrid activities as well as my friends. I can't jump ship either because the group consists of my closest friends, and I dedicated most of my time to them in the past. Help. I feel so lost, on top of that I'm a senior in HS so i don't have time to deal with finding new friends etc etc. |

| Posted: 01 Nov 2015 02:22 PM PST We're in our late 20's and we've been married for 4 years. Me and my wife love each other very much and we've never had any big problems until now. She got pregnant 6 months ago and it's been hell ever since. First off I didn't really want kids in the first place...I was like 50/50 on it but she wanted at least one so we tried and it happened. She's completely changed, I could write a book on the annoyances that are a part of my day because of her but I'll make this short. Here are some examples, she talks constantly about how sick she is or how excited she is or how the baby's kicking honestly that's like 80 percent of what she talks about. Then she has cravings, food wise and other things like back rubs and foot rubs. Like last night she said I can't hang out with my friends because she wanted a foot rub and cuddles. So I spent the night doing that instead of having fun, And one of the worst, she forces me to talk and sing to the baby and if it don't she gets mad. I've talked to her about everything and she says I'm being a dick and gets upset and cries saying I don't love her anymore. Another thing is she's really demanding about certain things now, like insisting that I clean the house and not letting me hangout with my friends like I said. I know she's pregnant but she's being ridiculous, I talked to a female friend of mine and she said I should be ashamed of the way I think. She said I'm immature and not ready to be a father, is this true? And will my wife's sweet attitude ever return? |

I mean it's just so frequent, and annoys the hell out of my friends, they are nice pretend it doesn't but it's just obvious it does. There are so varied examples but I need to keep it as short as I can so people don't just skim this detail Just two nights ago we were all talking about throwing a surprise party for this other friend today, we'd buy him gifts take him to the strip club, chill at his place throw a big party and then today I was called and asked if I'm still coming tonight I was like "to what" and they said the party I was like "who's party?" blah blah blah "who's birthday is it?" blah... took me 5 mins to remember the conversation last week my friends and I went to a gas station and since he bought my gas last time I said I'd pay for his this time. I go in the station with another friend while the other was pumping gas outside. the friend in the store with me went to the bathroom after we were walking around the store talking for a little while, Igrabbed a soda and some candy I go back out and then when we were about to take off the manager comes out and says we need to pay for the gas because I totally forgot that quick! in school a while ago I asked the teacher if I can go get my book from my locker (that's not a biggy, every once in a while other students forget theirs in their locker too) she said sure and she wont count me tardy for it if I picked up something she printed... (cont.) (cont.) and I came back and not only did I forget to grab her papers, but I got a drink from the drinking fountain and totally forgot my mission and left the book in my locker as well and sat down and she makes a teasing joke (not mean but just a little poke fun at me) "I'm not sure, should I count you tardy then?" or something like that. even worse? I just shrugged it off and didn't take in what she just said but when I thought back about it after class I just then got the joke... |

She makes me do whatever she wants with her, but when I ask her to do something with me, she doesn't. we ALWAYS do whatever she says and it's frustrating as hell. She forced me to join cheerleading with her and when I asked her to join art club with me, she doesn't for example. Everything is what she wants. I tried to talk to her about this, she apologized, but this keeps happening and it won't stop |

| Question: Co-Ed camping sleepover? Posted: 01 Nov 2015 12:58 PM PST So my friend invited me to sleep in her yard yard with tents with a few friends, 2 boys and 5 girls, I trust the two boys and they're sleeping in other tents. I am fine with going but I'm scared to ask my mom. she doesn't trust me with anything if I come home a minute late she assumes I'm doing something with a boy. The mom of the friend is okay with it. I'm not going to have sex or anything with them in only 15. can I have your input before I ask my mom? |
| Posted: 01 Nov 2015 12:52 PM PST This is the second time my housemate has got pissed when i asked to have friends over, the thing is both times we wernt planning on partying , the firts time we left as he made us feel uncomfortable, the second time was an emergency, and he still got weird about it, even tough my friends would stay in my room and were just wanting literally a place to sleep. He has met them too. Sometimes he makes "jokes" at me which are pretty much insults about my appearance, then brag about girls infront of me which is fine but we arent even close friends. He gets weird if i go out without inviting him. He gave e a free gym pass but after the first time going he deliberately made sure he went with his friend and not me. He always acts like I leave him out of things, sometimes I feel like he cares/worries about me but then he can also be a douchbag to me. Whats the issue? I hate feeling awkward in my own house and not being able to have friends around... |

| Question: Am I wrong to be mad at her? Posted: 01 Nov 2015 12:33 PM PST Me and this girl in my friends group started becoming better and closer friends over the last couple of months. Starting to hang out alone and such. Last night a bunch of us went out dancing and drinking and the like. Near the end of the night around 4AM only me, her and one of her friends were left. These two strangers(guys) came dancing with us. Not long her and her friend were making out with these guys leaving me stranded. Forgot I was there completely. She was my lift home too. So I just went about for 40 minutes finding something to do and waited outside until they came out. She noticed I was sitting there and came up and I told her I think she wasn't being very friendly. She said she was worried about me and did look for me inside and that she's sorry and she's really not usually that bad a person. She left the guy there and took me home. Had a bit of a fight on the way. This morning she messaged me saying she ll give me a lift to pick up my bicycle from a friend s house. Which is strange in and of itself. Didn t talk about it in the car but she mentioned she s glad she didn t run into the guy(his dorm is close to the cafeteria) and how awkward it would be. I don t know what to make of the situation. I m still mad. It feels weird between us now and I don t know how to resolve it. |

In the past, I've always been known as the girl who is always positive and never stops smiling, people always saw me as a super bubbly person. The last year and a half, my life has fallen apart, and I'm frequently tired and grumpy and I'm still extremely kind to others, but I'm not afraid to call people out, and I think it's pushing people away. I'm part of ASB and everyone I sit with is part of the "it crowd" one of which is my best friend, but none of them ever invite me to join their group for activities.. But they invite others. I feel like I annoy them, but I don't know what I'm doing. My own friend group isn't including me either and I feel like I used to have everyone, now I have no one. How do I become someone that everyone likes again? |
