My ex who I'm still in love with got married to another woman. She's younger than me, she is more well-off financially than me, and she gets to be with him. I'm trying so hard to forget about it and move on, really wanting to just forget about him completely and get on with my own life. I feel such regret and jealousy. What can I do about this?

Everytime I start talking to a girl and we seem to have a connection I always seem to mess something up in some way. In the case that I do, I start to panic really bad about the girl leaving me and never talking to me again. Its an anxiety like I ve never felt before. I ll then start messaging the girl multiple times in a row and they will be novels long of "Im sorry" and "Please just say something". It ends up pushing the girl away so much they really do stop talking to me. Is this some kind of anxiety disorder? I ve thrown away some good potential relationships bc of this and I need to know what to do. P.s. It's been about 7 going on 8 months since we've been together and I do have to say that my life has been a lot less stressful since we've broken up (aside from having trouble to find a new job, but that over with) I'm gaining more weight, I don't have to deal with her accusing me of cheating for no reason, I'm in martial arts, and I can finally play video games without being nagged for attention. I feel extremely ashamed to be a virgin at my age. I don't know how it happened. Well, I sort of do. I'm facially unattractive and I also can't crack the code to getting girls attracted to me. I hold myself in confidence, I go the gym and even though I am facially unattractive, I make sure that I look the best I can. Relationships...come for everyone else but me. I don't foresee myself losing my virginity at 25 at the earliest and that's if I pay for it. Okay, so there's these two twin guys. You would think that men and women are compatible with each other by and large, and they should be, but it seems to me they are more and more becoming competition these days...like when I deal with girls Its like they're trying to always one up me of out compete me in an ignoring contest. Let me tell you a little more about the situation. I met her on tinder. The first time I met her was about 2 weeks ago. We ve met a total of five times now and we talk everyday. We haven t even had our first kiss. Last time we met we watched netflix, cuddled and we fell asleep together while she was in my arms. That s the most intimate we ve been. I'm a guy in high school and I don't talk to girls on a normal occasion. Like they only talk to me, unless I have a question for them. But I really like a few but I can never go into deep conversation with them, it's just awkward. Like when I do I can't ever keep constant eye contact with them, it makes me feel weird as if I'm a pervert. I don't look at them in bad ways, it's just looking them in the eyes is too much for me. We used to have classes. I was the first to initiate eye contact. Once I did it, she will always look straight to my eyes before I enter the classroom. She will be at the second lobby, and once I appear she will look at me for few seconds. She and a friend were sitting together and both giggle then ran. She will give me half smiles/smirks at times. So I met this girl at a restaurant in a hotel, ( we were both going to a military phyiscal evaluation the next day and we had to stay in a hotel). Fast forward a bit, I asked for her number the next day and she gave it to me. Sent her a text with my name so she knew who she was texting and wishing her well....no response, no big deal.....I guess....So I see her throughout the day and she would smile from time to time as I saw her intermittently. At the end of the day, we were sitting together and talked a bit, my mother was picking me up so I went home and said goodbye. Next day I text her a how everything went and again....no response. So I immediately deleted her number. she's 18, I'm 24 in a month. I'm getting too old for this nonsense.....tooooo old. If this is how dating goes, its nonsense, and I don't want to have any part of it.

I've been dating my boyfriend for almost 4 years now, and we started dating as strangers and we met through my close guy friend who was also his childhood friend. I was completely clueless about this but after a few months of dating he asked if we could exchange facebook passwords and we did, and I never logged onto his account, but he did log on to mine and blocked my ex who is now just an acquaintance. My bf got back after 11 days of being gone and he met David's friends and all and saw that they are nice, and he got along well with them. But ever since that experience, being with David and the big difference between them... I miss being with David or at least being with David made me realize how empty I feel with my boyfriend, how fake I have to act with him, how I lie about my sexual orientation just to avoid a very uncomfortable and insecure conversation.
