I feel I can talk to him about anything, he makes me feel so comfortable, and just the way he treats me as a friend makes me only imagine how good he would treat me if we were together. I told him I had feelings for him, but he said he just wanted to stay friends. We stayed friends, and while some days I am okay with it, other days I want him so bad. How do I accept that he will never change his mind? |

| Question: What should I do for my party? Posted: 15 Nov 2015 04:58 PM PST I'm turning 13 and having a a hotel party. Three of my friends are coming and they're polar opposites. One is really immature, one is downright nuts, and one is a goth, while I'm a total fangirl. I want to find something that's fun for everyone. My mom wants to do makeovers but me and two other people won't be into that at all, but if I want to have a movie marathon no one else will want to watch what I do. I know it's my party, but it won't be fun if no one likes what we're doing. Also, some of my friends can get really cranky and act like total jerks when they're tired, and one goes to sleep really early while the rest of us like to stay up late. I don't want that one girl to miss out because she falls asleep at 8 o clock sharp, but I also don't want to force my freinds into going to bed really really early. Even food is an issue- One has a dairy intolerance, so no pizza. One has a peanut allergy, so no Chinese food (most of it is cooked in peanut oil). One is gluten free. I have none of that. Also,one can be really sensitive and not get the others sarcastic jokes or whatever. I just want this to be a fun party and not exclude anyone, but we're all so different that's hard to do. Any advice? |

Posted: 15 Nov 2015 04:30 PM PST Recently, I went to my friend's house so we could ride around the neighborhood on our bikes or go to the park or something but he said no and did not respond to me 30 percent of the time I was trying to talk to him, because he was focusing intently on CSGO. I can't really say what I've done wrong here, except for the fact that I accidentally shut off his computer while it was installing windows (which I can't explain why he was reinstalling it in the first place), however after that happened I helped him fix it. I used to joke around with him a little by saying stuff like "I want my friend back" but now that I think of it that joke is kind of a reality. Clearly, I am not sure how to react to this, although I can say I am a little upset. If anyone has any advice on what to do in this type of situation that would be great. Keep in mind I didn't start any argument or fight before/after this happened, I just left his house calmly. Thanks |

She is the only one who I've told things about me that I had never told to anyone before. We talked almost every day for a year. I don't see her in that way, she is my closest friend. She is very important to me, but she disappeared from facebook and whatsapp, telling me that I would have to use a mobile application if I wanted to continue talking with her. The thing is, she didn't tell me how her username at that application was... I am really lost on clues now, and her facebook account is officially deleted. I know in what city she lives in (not really a big one), and it would not be hard to find what school she attends, but I wonder if there is some legal limitation to searching in that direction. I am 18, male, living in Spain, and she is 16, living in Egypt. The thing is that I am very well sure that I am not letting go of the only close friend I ever had, who very likely changed my life, and even less without even being able to say goodbye. What can I do? |

She also was placed in Honors Math, Science, and English, with a GPA of 4.0. Her average IQ is 135, give or take. She's really ambitious, and has wanted to be a vertebrate paleontologist for eleven years. She's spoken to many different paleontologists and, even though we're in our freshman year, is looking at, communicating with, and evaluating colleges and graduate programs. She's also really mature for her age, and one of her best friends is a senior, who is obviously a pure genius (her friend is slightly autistic, but it just makes her really smart). They'll ramble about genetics and poultry all the time, and memorize vast amounts of information, even analyzing dead embryos at sleepovers. But the thing is that my friend doesn't fit some of the genius characteristics. She doesn't have light eyes, they're a lighter brown, and I also read that women with larger breasts are more intelligent, but hers are average to smaller. She also never seems to gain weight, she's skinny and muscular, weighing about 100 pounds, and plays tennis and skis as well as doing heavy work in their country home, but she's not anorexic; I've seen her eat a lot of food: she says she has a high metabolism. I think she wants to get married and maybe have kids, but she's a teleiophile and never dated anyone, and really doesn't care that much, she really just wants to be a paleontologist. She also doesn't care about her appearance that much, I mean she looks nice, but doesn't wear make-up and just puts her hair back in a ponytail every day. Her choice in reading is kind of odd too. Instead of reading normal books, she sticks to classics, and even reads science textbooks. She often just stares into nothing, having super deep thoughts and stuff. She tends to not say anything about her feelings, internalizing everything, but she once said that she likes to sort everything out herself. If she's every stressed or anything, it never shows. |

I mean, I get that they're in charge most of the time, but they're not always right! Like, for example, my friend was supposed to give my other friend a ride to a party, and then the first friend said that she couldn't give the second one a ride. When I asked why, she said it was because her parents were hosting a dinner party and that and that if they left then there would be no one hosting it. So I was like, so you're not going either? And they were like 'no i'm still going i just cant give her a ride because that would be an extra 2 minutes'. I facepalmed so hard when I read that. So then I was like 'what if one of your parents drives and the other stays at the party,' and she was like 'well my mom already said no so i don't wanna ask again.' It makes. No. Sense. |

Now, I'm not even really entirely sure what kind of a crush this is, because I don't find my friend's brother all that attractive. He's kind of lanky and average looking, but on the other hand, he's really funny and witty and sarcastic and clever— the type of people I seem to be drawn to in general, though I don't have all those traits myself. Sometimes (though not too often) I catch him looking at me. And he tosses quite a few jokes in my direction (since I'm the only black friend in the group, sometimes he'll say stuff like "and that's white people for you" or "yeah.. I can see why you're shaking your head at us" and just general stuff like that. Other times, he'll make fun of me for my lack of guitar hero skills and tease me about it. My friend, however, isn't really the dating type, and she sometimes's makes fun of people who do, no matter what age or gender or anything. how would she feel if I liked her brother? I was shocked. most of them were either unemployed, have DUI's or work at walmart. I never would have suspected any of them to turn out so bad. They were the geeks and nerds of the schools. They were all nice and none them did any drugs. We all grew apart and havent talked to each other in a long time. I have only checked out their FB pages and it made me sad....mostly for me. It made me believe I choose the wrong people. I mean 10 out of ten people and not one success stories makes me want to stay alone forever. I am in my mid 20's now going to school and i am no prize either. Was hoping to hear people who have a majority of their friends turn out to be failures? |

I did say no couple of times before because i felt like i was gonna feel awkward but we did hang out like 3 times. we would sit & talk. we got along very well. he would do things to make me laugh & was very smiley. he would tell me that he would rather hang out with me instead of his friends. We are related to the same person but different sides of the family. I would joke around & call him cousin . He says he really hopes we are not. He has told me before & thinks I don't like him . This one time he was waiting for me to text him first so he liked my TBH status & I made one. He told it was an excuse for me to msg him first. Last night we hung out until 3 am . he never texted me the next day. he would usually text me after hanging out before. I've seen him online. I know i could msg him first but i don't wanna sound too clingy or show that Im easy. Im always the one who goes to him to hang out out late in the night. |

We've done a lot together (liked bathed when were were really young, i think 7; we've chatted about really personal issues, and we've even compared over snapchat). I want to tell him, or more like ask him, that I want an open friendship with him, but the kind where we can literally both be naked in front of each other and we won't care, that we both understand, and can chill out like that. However, I don't know how to phrase it so that he isn't confused, or awkward and put off, because that's not what I'm intending. I just trust him the most, and he and I have shared a lot over the years and he's always willing to help. And just as a side note, I'm not gay, and I hate that I have to say that, because being naked shouldn't have connotations of sex or sexuality, being naked with a friend shouldn't be seen as homosexual, so please don't answer that. | Posted: 15 Nov 2015 12:19 PM PST I have a best friend and we don't get to meet very often so we communicate through Facebook but even tho he's o nline and i try to start the conversation he doesn't answer and i used to have a best friend but she gave up on me to be friends with another girl so we don't interact as we used to do. I have a lot of friends on real life but they're either in a relationship or already have friends so we are more like camarades so what do i do i feel lonely ?? |
| Posted: 15 Nov 2015 12:18 PM PST So on Friday I was on the bus sitting there then My friend's little cousin (In 2nd grade) was saying something to him and I mocked her and whatever(I was only playing with her). So, she said stop mocking me and stuff like that and I stopped. Then in couple minutes she started punching me in the arm and pinching me. So I told her to stop. But, she didn't. So, I grabbed both of her wrists and said are you gonna stop and she No. So I held it longer(Btw I didn't hold her wrist hard). She told my friend that I was hitting her. I told my friend I didn't even hit her. My friend said why are you hitting my cousin she's only in second Grade. I told him Again that I didn't hit her. Then his little cousin started fake crying and said she's gonna tell her mom what I did. So I let go of her wrist because I started getting annoyed. Was I wrong? I mean, I didn't want to hurt my friend's little cousin |

Well he smiled and said OK. He unzipped his pants and I seen something that I will not complain about. I freaked out and took off for the bathroom. I didn t expect him to do that ever to me. We are very flirty friends and have a great time with each other when we can spend some time alone together. |

I move around a lot and to keep it short my best friend offered for me to live with her and her family so I can stay in Washington state. Washington state's running start program for college would save me lots of money in the future. Opinions? |

All really am is just a burden to this horrible world, a waste of money and time. Im too ugly for anyone to like, and only have a few friends. My only best friends ended up being fakes. Im horrible at everything I do. I tried to be a good happy person, but look where thats gotten me. "everyone has a purpose in life" thats a lie. Do the staving kids in Africa have a purpose? Unfortunately they dont. Theres 7 billion people in the world, all Im going to be is just another number on the death count. So just tell me, whats the point in living if you're just going to be tormented by your own existence? |
| Question: I want to runaway or kill myself....? Posted: 15 Nov 2015 12:00 PM PST Okay so I know many people will judge but I didn't post this so people could judge! Anyways I was THINKING about running away because I can't deal with it anymore. I'm having panic attacks because I used to be abused by my step-mom and I just stared remembering it. I told my dad about my panic attacks but he just told me to calm down and that I should stop lying. I have been cutting for about a year and people have been spreading rumors at school how everyone should keep an eye out for me because I'm suicidal. I promised my friend I wouldn't run away because she said se needs me and I'm the only one she can truly relate to, but her girlfriend will be there for her along with all her other friends. Plus my best friend has been banned from having any contact with me because her mom thinks I the reason she's depressed. And apparently my friend and my best friend's ex, bot have a huge crush on me! I'm just so tired of everything! I have to grow up fast so my siblings don't have to, I take the blame for everything, I'm going to end up like a slutty ***** who drops out of school, and I'm the reason my friends are depressed! I probably sound totally selfish and childish but still, I'm asking for help, because I don't want to run away or kill myself, I just want it all to stop... |
| Posted: 15 Nov 2015 11:58 AM PST I got my best friend a lot of bday gifts. It's her 13th birthday and she's my best friend so I decided to spoil her a little bit. I got her a personalized photo book, personalized bag, I gave her a bday letter, and I ordered photo prints of us and was planning on making a heart out of them while she was preoccupied with getting ready for her bday party. I gave her the letter already, but I didn't want to give her all of her presents in front of her other friends because I didn't want to make them feel bad. I planned on giving her the bag at her party, making the heart of photos while she's cleaning up or prepping for the party, and setting her photo book on her bed when I leave. Does that sound like a good plan, any suggestions, and do you think that she will like her gifts? |

Posted: 15 Nov 2015 11:39 AM PST hope someone will help me with advices.So, i am a 17 year old girl in high school. at the first 2 years i had two friends in my class but i never really felt that I was their friend, they would hang out in school with me but thats all. Then, rule to my school is that after the two years we have to choose social or science class. i chose social. At this class I knew none.now its been two months in this class and i have no friends. I sit with a girl but theres no click we have nothing in common to talk and im also a quiet person with people im nt close. Its very hard to make friends in this class because they have known each other for 2 years and the groups are formed.Plus they dont want me. I feel so onely there, I have none to go for lunch so i usually buy food before i go to school..pathetic yeah and i stay mostly on my phone.In school i have a few friends. I have a close friend but she is in another school we do hang out sometimes Ive known her since middle school. But other than her i dont feel like i have friends. I feel like my whole life i have been lonely. And since i dont have friends in high school where you mostly make friends i feel like i will be lonely for the rest of my life and it makes me so sad. I dont know why i ended up like this.. I dont know if i can survive anymore. Help |

Since then I ve been obsessing over her life wishing and praying for her to die! I can t stop she has taken me to court twice and the judge told her there wasn t enough evidence! | Question: Friend says I looked nervous? Posted: 15 Nov 2015 10:59 AM PST Alright, im 17, male. Yesterday my friend and I went house to house around my neighborhood asking to sign some partition. I did most of the talking, after a few houses, my friends told me that I looked nervous while talking to these home owners. And if im going to be honest, I did not feel nervous at all! I made lots eye contact, maybe I talked ever so slightly too fast now that I think of it, and just all around tried to act as friendly and like-able as possible. Anyone know why my friend might have sad this? Has anyone else had a similar issue? And how can i fix this for the next time? |
