I am married now and, ever since getting my engagement ring, I feel uncomfortable because of the whole blood diamonds issue and how it's so annoying that women go crazy about the ring stuff. I couldn't care less and my wedding ring is more special to me. Is it weird if my hubby and I sell it back and I either get a crystal replacement diamond ring or just stick with my wedding band?

I was supposed to go to a job interview in Fresno I live in oakdale. I haven't been able to find a job in like almost a year. I've tried everywhere but nothing. We are getting married next November, at least that's the plan. But today while taking my brother to school the car broke down on me. So I won't be able to make it to the interview I told my fiance and he just told me "oh ok, maybe something bad was going to happen?" But I feel like he sad it like he didn't like it. I don't know where else to put my feelings Long story short we are dating since 5 years.l am 20 to be 21 next march he is 22 He is Syrian and came to the US as a 6 yr old His family is quite religious and controlling Back in highshool his older sister who was 18 was getting married I was like why is she getting married so soon? Later I realised all 3 of his sisters have been married off to arranged guys chosen by his parents at 17-18. But since he's a guy he said its not gonna happen to him. Well back then I was really young So I didn't care. Anyway now he told me his mom is seeing girls for him to get married and will choose a bride soon I am totally shocked and didn't knew how to respond so I started to sob He assured we r going to get married asap and to start preparing. I was even more shocked at how he decided that without me knowing. We got into a huge fight over this and I don't know what to do.He has made it clear already either we marry before Dec or his parents will choose a bride for him to get married as its "high time"and he cant do anything then.he says if we already get married they cant do anything other than accept me into the family. I know The smart thing to do is leave him but I love him so much.We've been together 5 yrs and he had been a great bf and we r so much in love I would graduate in 2017 & work as a receptionist but don't make much He already makes 160000/yr and says he would support me until I graduate or in future.
