When I was still a young child, I befriended a young girl in Canada and kept in contact with her. In the pre-internet days, we wrote letters to each other. Nowadays, we communicate via Facebook and email. However, since she lives in the middle of nowhere in Canada, her internet access is very poor and she is rarely online. I feel like we are distancing ourselves from each other and we just chat about very general stuff around once every 2-3 months. However, we have the "routine" of mailing each other presents annually during birthdays and Christmases. The presents I mail in one occasion tend to cost around $20. It can sometimes even cost more. Mailing fees are expensive and I don't use a lot of the presents she sent me. Over time, this has become repetitive and we tend to send similar stuff each year - notebooks, bracelets, pens, key chains, etc. It is hard to break away from this pattern though. Someone has to start it and breaking away from this "routine" will be rude. Should I even keep in contact with her? I think it is natural for people to lose contact over time, but our pattern of mailing presents is preventing that.

There is this girl who I live with who is constantly putting me down. She clings to me and abuses me. My daughter reads so much. She reads in the car, she reads while she eats, she stays up very late reading when she should be going to bed. There was this person I knew who I thought was my friend, but now I'm not so sure. We were in the same classes one semester, and were close at the time. We always talked, and I felt like they apprechiated me just like I apprechiated them. Then after that we didn't have any more classes together, and we saw eachother around school. Hey guys so I moved about 2 months ago and honestly I am so depressed over it. I lived in a great area with great school but I had to leave all of that behind. The new area I live in sucks the schools suck in this area everything about the schools in my new area suck they were so bad that I just decided to do home school. Whats even worse is that I have to finish all my course work by december 11th and while I have done so much work the stress is getting to my head. Another bad thing is I just really miss my old house and my old neighborhood I had awesome friends and ever since I left them behind I have been suffering. I miss my old high school so much I miss my teachers and I miss how fun it was. I am currently a Junior and I well be the first to say that my years at my old school were some of the best years of my life. To make things worse my Aunt and Uncle past away right after we moved into our new house and that just made everything worse. I don't know if this is normal or not but it's affecting me so much my parents tried to help me by buying me video games and while that's nice I am still having such a hard time. what's even worse is that I have really good grades and my GPA is probably going to suffer because the best I can do is get a bunch of C's because of everything that has happened. So this is what happened. So my best friend stopped hanging out with me and started hanging out with another girl. Ever since I found out that my friend self harms I've been wanting to put graffiti with sharpie inside the bathroom stalls. Not cartoon penises like people put on the tables but things that are supportive to people with depression, and that urge people to be supportive of their friends who may need it. The school takes a terrible approach to mental health and I want to draw attention to the issue to the people who need it most, students. Nothing hurtful or rude. Just things like "stay strong", "hugs never hurt", and "you have so much to live for. I'd keep it a secret I'm just wondering if it's a little wrong. I'm only doing it to help those who need it.

Let's say I had only one close friend that I would actually hang out with in person, but he was a friend that was helpful and looked out for me when I was in the hospital with a kidney stone. Then when she sends me snapchats, and I don't reply to one of them. She'd get mad, and call me a liar for saying that I do care and then send a picture of the middle finger. Then she goes around telling everybody about my illness. Then she always posts on her snapchat about how she dislikes white people, and then she blocked all of them because she hated them when they weren't even doing anything. How do I just leave her? Because I can't just do it all of a sudden.

Last school year, my ex roommates bullied me out of my apartment. Recently, I ran into one of my ex roommate's fiance. I found out that two of them have now turned on her. According to him, she thinks that they manipulated her into being so nasty. He told me that she feels really bad about what happened and she wants to explain. He thinks that we should talk. I really don't have anything nice to say to her. In fact, I could tell her that she was almost in my position because they tried to get me to turn on her first, and switched gears when they realized I wasn't going to be manipulated. (I never told her that). Should I talk to her? Should I give her a chance to explain? Or should I not give her the satisfaction?

Where I come from, all of the girls in general barely are girly and feminine. They have an aggressive violent nature. They hang around with black people. If you get in a disagreement with them ove the phone, they will want you to meet them in a parking lot for a fight. If you get into a petty argument with them or confront them they will jump on you and start beating the daylights out of you. They always refer to their friends as sisters though they are white themselves. The 'nicer' girls turn me down saying that I wouldn't be able to survive in the family that they come from. My friend lives fairly close to me, not to far away, just a couple blocks. I really wouldn t have any problem giving him a ride home but whenever I can t he starts acting like a brat and starts complaining. I had to stay after school one day and he kept texting me saying plz plz plz and I said no and to stop asking. Then he says fine be a d***. He doesn t even help me with gas and he thinks he s entitled to me giving him a lift home everyday. In all honesty I am pretty sure the only reason he talks to me is so he can get rides home. He can take the bus but he says he hates taking the bus. He just annoys me to though when he is in the car as well because he always smokes and its annoying and wont stop even if I ask, he usually keeps his hand outside the window so the smoke doesn t get into my face but its still annoying.

I will be moving to Australia from HK next year for boarding in high school and I feel really unease about meeting friends and getting into groups. I really want to go to the state game but I asked two of my friend's and they didn't want to go. I have some friends but they are actually playing in the game. So I will probably have to sit there all alone, by myself, and quietly support my team. It's not like our team is ever going to go to state again in the foreseeable future. They well, probably never will actually. Should I go all alone or just stay home and miss the game?

I have an instagram dm with this group of people and my best friend added herself to it. She has her own group of internet friends and i don't know how to tell her i want to be able to have my own group of friends on the internet?

Here's the deal: Friends I've known for my entire life keep forcing me to go out every weekend. They did the same thing today (through mobile) and they keep insulting me JUST so I can accept to go out with them. They keep saying things like 'You never ever go out, you are like a house bug, how do you expect to meet people', 'OH COME ON, SERIOUSLY U WON'T COME WITH US AGAIN, go to hell' and stuff like that. And I really don't know how to answer any of these. I want to go out, I just don't want it to be with them. They drink, they smoke, they gossip.. and I'm not that kind of a person. What should I do, I can't blow them of AGAIN (like every saturday) as they will get mad at me and will spread some rumors about me aswell (the gossip thing I mentioned above). And I DON'T WANT TO GO OUT. To be exact, I'm actually scared of what they might do now. Help me, please.

So.. Okay, to start off, I'm 13. My friends are 13 and 12, and they're sisters. So this will most probably sound like kiddie problems, but I still need help. I always knew they were kind of childish, we used to have so much in common before but now almost all we have in common is our love for Ariana Grande. I would always do childish things with them just to keep them entertained, I felt like that was my job since we're actually related.. But this week, I've decided I just had enough. I've invited them 3 times this week, and weirdly enough I got tired of them real quick. I guess I just needed time to realize that we just don't click anymore. They've gotten so childish to the point where yesterday one of them CRIED because she was so bored at our house. Not only is that childish, but it's kind of rude too considering I was doing everything I can to keep them happy. They don't like any of my friends, and they're always bragging about their one "model" friend that has 10k on instagram (like I care) and since I don't go to their school they're always telling obviously fake stories and bragging about how "popular" they are at school cause they have 2k followers on instagram. (again, like I care. I don't even have an instagram anymore!) Basically, all I'm saying is I'm tired of hanging out with them but I can't just stop cause we're related and my mother is friends with their mother and I see them every other week at family gatherings. What should I do?
