Muchas gracias. Saludos. gracias. Saludos. |
Question: Should the boy always go to the girls home? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 02:10 PM PST How my mom was raised her parents always told that the boyfriend always had to come to the girls home, which is how she raised my brother and which is how she now raised me. My mom is a somewhat old dashed Hispanic parent and I respect that and I will carry on the tradition but the thing is, now that I am in a relationship and the way how society is now a days it doesn't seem as big as a deal. Well my boyfriends understands and obeys my moms rules but the only concern is, is that his mom has had a very hard understanding this. There is always an argument about him always coming to my home and me never going over too how selfish my mom is because of me not being able to go over. At times it gets to me and I want to go over but I know with timing it will be worth it. I have explained this to his mom many times and she just doesn't agree. I'm at the point where I don't know what to do anymore. I just need some good advise. I've talked to my moms about this and clearly it upsets her too because it's the way she and her family were raised. So what can I do? Thank you. |
Question: Can I marry my stepdad’s brother? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 02:05 PM PST I am a 22 yo gay man. My mom is 42 yo and she married a young man who is 17 yo younger than her. I am already out to my family and have been with a 27 yo man over five yrs, but I did not tell anyone about our relationship because he is my stepdad's older brother. He has not come out yet and I am afraid to tell my parents our real relationship. My boyfriend is ok with the current situation, I thought I would be as well but now I'm starting to doubt it, so should I say something or remain silent? |

Question: How do I overcome this? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 01:38 PM PST So, basically, I'm super insecure. I'm 21, and insecure. I think this is the elephant in the room when I'm with others. My mom straight up just told me this today!! I can be both super outgoing and crazy, but I'm pretty shy and introverted at first or if I don't click with you. My question is ... when people talk about me, which is what I get insecure, sensitive, and "butthurt" over, are seemingly about things that..they tell me I should care about. For example, some of my former coworkers thought I was crazy for always laughing with a newer coworker ALL THE TIME who became my close friend. Clearly they thought I should stop and focus on work more, etc. The thing is, as someone who is very shy at first, this seemed like an attack on me. They didn't like that I was shy, but they made fun of me when I was my crazy self!! Then, these are people who I know would say, "You need to be yourself and not care what others think", as they judge me and talk about me in a negative way. And this analysis is what caused my mom to say that about me. But if people are saying these things, apparently they want me to take a step back, think about my actions, and chill down and not be so insane. So which do I do? Either way I'm caring what they think... I'm so done with humans who tell you to be yourself, then comment on what you're doing with your life, and then say, "Ahh don't care about them..."If I'm not supposed to care, why'd they bother saying it, especially when I no longer work there!?! Ohh and the reason I still hear about things they say is because my brother works there still, and takes part in the mockery... This was one of the main reasons I quit and I still hear about it.. If I defend myself, I look pathetic. If I don't defend myself, I look pathetic. I'm sick and tired of people older than me calling me out for my immaturity while acting like preschoolers themselves. Is there a way to get them to stop while still having my dignity and maturity intact?!!??!?!? Also, if I love myself and am confident in myself, this can be seen as yet another face of pride.. How do I love myself without seeming stuck-up and snooty??? |
Question: Does the way my dad and I act seem very inappropriate? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 01:18 PM PST I live alone with my dad and my close friend was recently been kicked out by his parents and is staying with us. The thing is he thinks my dad acts inappropriate with me? First off he was weirded out that my dad has a habit of smacking my butt. Sometimes its when I'm bending over near him or sometimes it's to hurry me up when I'm walking out of the room and he's right behind. IVe always just seen it in a harmless playful way and I'm sure my dad does too. Sometimes I fall asleep on the couch and when I do my dad will carry me to bed and my friend finds that weird too for someone my age. One thing that I will acknowledge is strange for my age is that when I'm not feeling well (depressed or anxious) I sleep with my dad. I don't cuddle or spoon him or anything gross it's just comforting to know he's right there. Lastly on some occasions I'll sit in my dads lap usually just when we're watchibg television together. I never really thought this behaviour was all that strange until my friend pointed it out. My dad raised me all by himself, he made me, bathed me, changed me, and helped me through my first period so honestly he can touch me however he wants there's nothing sexual about it. I tried to explain to my friend but it seems that in his mind we are only one step below incest! I told my dad and he agreed to not act like that around ny friend though he slips from time to time. My friends huge negative reaction to it makes me wonder if it is inappropriate in the proper context? |

Question: Why should he be allowed to get away with this? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 11:34 AM PST He lied to me about being divorced from his wife, starting a friendship with me and leading me to believe their would be more. He disappeared two weeks ago and after all that time of trying to figure out what happened, his WIFE texted me through his phone telling me to stop talking to her husband along with a threat that if she had to talk to me again things would get ugly. I needed to hear this from him. I tried contacting him but she intercepted each text calling me a whore and saying he was married each time. She called me through his phone and told me he lied to me about everything, that they had been messing around the entire time they were separated and that they hadn't gotten divorced at all. She mentioned some texts I had sent him in the past (she read them all) and I was naturally embarrassed because along with that she claimed she could take me to court for all of this because I was talking to a married man. I didn't know about this is the issue, along with the fact that he suddenly decided to disappear rather than tell me what he was doing, especially after I told him about the only other sexual interest in my life and how badly he had hurt me only weeks before he contacted me on facebook claiming he had had a crush on me in highschool. I kept trying to talk to HIM instead of his wife, but when she finally had enough and handed him the phone he refused to talk to me and hung up. My question; why does he get away with hurting me and still get a happy family? |

Posted: 14 Nov 2015 09:25 AM PST My (ex) fiance and I started dating at 18. We are now 24, which I know is still very young. We've only ever dated each other and the majority of our relationship was spent long distance so the connection between us faded. Over the past year, we've broken up temporarily (all initiated by me) at least 3 or 4 times which is absurd. But we always got back together right away because we both really wanted to try again to make it work. It would work for a while and then we'd go a month without seeing each other because of our work schedules, and we'd rarely talk on the phone. So, one month ago I ended things (we were still in the beginning stage of planning the wedding so nothing was booked but this is irrelevant, really). Anyway, he is devastated of course and at first I wasn't but now I miss him so much, it physically hurts. I think I made the wrong decision but I doubt he'll take me back after I've done this to him numerous times now. I feel so awful and sad. I miss my best friend, my lover. We had no contact for the first three weeks but we have been in contact for the last few days. We have both told each other that we miss each other very much and I know he still cares for me, however I can tell that he is (understandably) very, very hurt and guarded. He is not communicating with me the way he usually would, again, understandably. I'm so terrified that he'll reject me, which is why I'm hesitant to ask for another chance - I know that's ignorant. :( So with that, I honestly don't even know how I would approach bringing it up. I don't even know what to say. |
Question: What does the word 'different' mean? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 09:01 AM PST At my last job, the associates were either snubbing me, making fun of me or bullying me. They kept telling everyone that i was 'different'. I ended up quitting over this reason after i got retailated documenting this stuff to hr. Apart from this, what did they mean when they called me 'different'? |
Question: Couple in a house share and electricity bill? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 08:42 AM PST If there is a couple in a house share, should they pay one share of the electricity bill each, or a share between them? They also spend the most time in the house, as they don't go home at weekends like most of us do. There are 7 in the house. All renting. The owner doesn't know that a couple lives there, she thinks only the girl does. |

Posted: 14 Nov 2015 05:23 AM PST I'm 16 I'm a junior in high school and I have questions that bother me. When I was younger my family has been through things like. Homeless, woman shelter, Abusive father, etc. I feel empty, worthless, and like nothing. It's hard for me to be happy, I remember one day when my family and friends were sitting in my house having fun laughing I just got done laughing and I looked around seeing everyone laugh it just made me feel disgusted I hated it, So I immediately ****** the vibe up and I started being mean and not listening to people. I don't know why I do it. It's when I try to be happy something takes over me and makes me angry, sad, and confused. I hate myself I look in the mirror every day and I cry voices in my head calls me ugly, fat, dumb. I just hate what I see I hate people looking at me because I know they thinking I'm ugly. I can't love. not even my family. I don't know what it is, what it feels like, how it works I just hate everyone I feel empty like there is really no purpose for me. I like being alone in the dark and I like pain. I think I deserve to be hurt and angry it's my fault for everything. I don't know Why I feel like this, but its starting to bother me. I feel like I'm slowly dying not physically but emotionally. |

Question: How do I keep my ex boyfriend's mother out if my life? Posted: 13 Nov 2015 10:47 PM PST I broke up with my ex almost four years ago because he and his mother are melodramatic, pathological, compulsive liars. Ever since then, the family doesn't like me and after months of harassment and discrimination they finally avoid, ignore and stay away from me--except one: the mother. For some reason, this forty seven year old women is extremely invested with my twelve year old sister. She spoils her rotten, comments on every one of her facebook posts and pictures and refers to herself as my little sisters "BFF." My family moved out of the state of Illinois a couple months ago to Florida and this women drove all the way to Florida by car just to take my sister tricker treating, dress up and play with her in her room for one day. I find the whole situation inappropriate. My parents have grown keen of her and consider her a family friend since she spoils my sister so much but this women is passive aggressive. Outside of the house she avoids me. And still causes drama in my life and secretly disrespects me behind my parents back. She misconstrued things that I say and then tells them to everyone, thus causing fights and arguments between my family, boyfriend and I. (She hasn't changed) she literally accused me of sleeping with her husband. I play along as if were all friends out of respect for my family But in the end it's always the same: I am accused of things I didn't do and she spreads lies like wild fire and causes fights between all of us! I am so exhausted of her. |

Question: Why is my exboyfriends mom so invested with my little sister? Posted: 13 Nov 2015 08:08 PM PST My x and I broke up almost four years ago and his mother won t seem to shake off. For some reason, she is extremely invested with my 12 year old sister. This women is in her late fourties and she calls herself my little sisters BFF. She spoils her rotton, instant messages her EVERYDAY (almost all day) and comments on every post and picture of hers on Facebook. My family recently moved to Florida a couple months ago from Illinois (where she lives) and she drove by car all the way from illinois to florida just to take my little sister tricker treating, dress up with her and play with her in her room for one day. She acts like my little sisters mother and I find it somewhat innapropriate. On the contrary, she lies about me to everybody and is passive aggressive to me descretely behind my families back. She accused me of ******* her husband and makes up stories! The reason I broke up with my x is mainly because of his lieing, melodramatic mother in the first place. (Hes a cocktail of all his family). I dont understand why a 47 year old women wouldnt have any friends her own age and why she is so invested with my little sister while simultaneously manipulating everybody around her while disrespecting me secretly. |
Question: Does this count as play-fighting with my older sister? Posted: 13 Nov 2015 07:35 PM PST A few days before Christmas 2014, my younger brother, my older sister and I were bored in the living room just listening to anime and show/movie songs-like Dragon Ball Z and Fairy Tail and Avatar:The Last Airbender and The Hunger Games and How To Train Your Dragon and Big Hero 6. So my older sister, Jasmine, was saying some **** to me while she was on her headphones listening to music on her phone. So I got up from my seat and went to "attack" her. Question: Is it normal to hope you're pregnant after a breakup? Posted: 13 Nov 2015 05:06 PM PST I do this after any serious relationship, regardless of who broke up with who. I love him, and I want things to work out, but they're not and I know the best thing to do is to move on. So I hope I am pregnant as an excuse to try and keep working on things. Luckily, I never have been, but I am right back in this situation again, and wondering if this is normal or if there is something wrong with me. |
