Posted: 25 Nov 2015 05:05 PM PST I'm staying on rent in a house, where the owner in her 30s lives, and four other tenants, for college. A few days ago, I told her that I'm going to go back home because I'm taking some courses elsewhere. Well, here was her response, but should she have said that?? She said she hopes I'm not uncomfortable and I said no, it's just that I'm changing courses and can do them from home, so obviously I'm not gonna continue staying on rent. She said that 'you don't have many friends here so I guess you would want to go home'. I'm like wth? Does she have a right to talk like that? I'm not 'close' to her, so why would she say that? How can she decide how many people I'm with or not? I've never brought a guest to her house is that why? Because I'm not a 'party student' and don't do stupid party crap when I'm so busy with studies? I just think it's strange of her to say that or think that. It's not her business and it's not even manners to say. It's strange that she decided she knew my relations. Just like one day she decided she knew what food I would use or not and told me which ones to keep in my room to save space and which to keep in the cabinet. |

I got up to do something today in class and we made eye contact and she started rolling her eyes at me. I haven't done anything to her for her not to like me. I was also wearing something new that time I thought was cute when she rolled her eyes at me. She even said something to her friend that was sitting next to her and her friend starred at my way as well. There is some girl in my class and we both have the same thing that I think makes her not like me but she gets along with her. I don't know why she would choose to hate on me out of everyone else because there are many people who have better things then I do. I'm in high school. Posted: 25 Nov 2015 04:17 PM PST So I'm a sophomore in highscool and like in 1 week my class is going to a field trip to a college that's like 2-3 hours away from our school. We won't be coming back home until later on at night time around 9pm cuz it's a long drive back and plus after we're finish with the campus tour we are going to this place where there's arcades and games and the whole class is going out for pizza. So the whole thing is gonna be all day. None of my friends are going to the field trip and I'm SO shy. It's mostly the popular kids with groups of friends so yeah..well maybe there's 2 kids I know that are nice but I'm still not sure. Plus we don't have to be in chaperone groups. Just roam around with any friend. What do I do? I'm supposed to get my menstrual cycle around the time I'm going to the field trip and I get horrible cramps and heavy flow. Can't wear tamponds Do I bring my school backpack (obviously with no books) to this field trip? Cuz I'm planning on bringing my iPad to use for the long drive and some water with snacks and money just incase. Or is that too weird to bring to this type of field trip? Also I have to go cuz my parents are making me go plus I already paid for it and there's no refunds. |

I decided to go back home for the holidays (college is 6 hours away), i had to get my wisdom teeth extracted and I wanted to go back for my 21st birthday. So today my birthday my best friend planned to go out today.. Because of wisdom teeth extraction I m unable to eat any solid food so I suggested we go grab coffee. I told her if we could meet at 1 but move it to 2:30 pm because my family wanted to spend time with me. Of course I told her this hours in advance. So she told me meet me at the coffee shop at 2:30. I get their 5 mins before and waited for her ..its 3:05 - 40 minutes later than the time we were suppose to meet and still no show. When I message her at 2:30 said she was on her way from work which i was confuse because she told me she wasn t even working. I then message her back saying " guess, i m gonna go home I been waiting for 40 mins and you haven t reply with an update." Its 3:10 and she says "where are you?" What worst is that she didn t apologized. She said well if you were late I would have waited for you..thats so dumb. Why make a friend wait alone on their birthday..I was like long gone with my coffee and I wasn t feeling well because I had my wisdom teeth extracted. The guy that she was with is becoming a really close friend to me and he told me today that he was going to talk to her and say that he wanted to end things. The thing is I feel like he flirts with me a bit: he always sits next to me at lunch, always messages me and tickles me a lot. He's quite touchy feely but I think I'm starting to like him a bit. I don't wanna ruin our friendship. We met each other when I was in 6th grade because he was in my orchestra class, but we barely talked. Now since I'm in the high school with him, we talk A LOT. Before, it was just a conversation that any normal teens would have, but now, it's like really different. Anyways, I think Bob has been getting the wrong message because of the way I talk to him. I guess I led him on, but it's just the way I talk. Like, I talk to all my friends like that, honestly. Everyone ships us together, and it's annoying because I feel like I'm kind of forced to like Bob now. BTW, before all of this happened, he asked me to this dance, and I already said yes. Right now, it's pretty obvious that he likes me, but to be honest, I like this other guy. Also, when I'm talking to Bob, I try my best to stop myself when I catch myself "leading him on". Everyone's saying that Bob's going to definitely ask me out before this dance, and I feel like that will happen too. I only just see him as a friend, and I don't want to say no to him (if he does ask me out), but I also don't want to say yes. She said yes, and that she did not have time to reply back. It upsets me that she always pushes me off to the side, as if she can't make time for to talk to me every now and then, but can make time to do things with other people. In june he always came down to my directed study in the cafeteria to fill up his water bottle. One time I went to his directed study to fill up my water bottle and he walked up to fill up his water bottle at the same fountain even though there was another fountain there. He was also tapping his fingers on the fountain while I was filling it up. He looked at me sometimes in the hall as well. Two times this year as soon as i passed him in the hallways he turned his head completely in my direction. Also this year I was glancing around the room and he was too and as soon as he saw me looking around he quickly looked away and down at his desk this happened two times in a row. Does he like me? Not to be funny but he makes Neapolitan dynamite look like a jock. We are both 20 years old. Even though he's weird he can be fun to hang with once in a while but sometimes it gets annoying. He's socially awkward but not antisocial. He doesn't shut up and just rambles about pointless things and on top of that he sometimes will talk over you. The other day he stopped by my house when I wasn't home. He was talking to my parents for a half hour. He was telling them stories about when I used to smoke pot and get drunk at high school parties. I'm not good at going out and making friends with strangers, however if someone came to talk to me I'm good at conversating. I use to be out going when I was 14-15. What changed around that time was I dated an older guy who cheated on me for 3 years. He ended up giving me clamydia I found out a few days after my graduation. So he might be why I don't trust people but I never let him and what he did make me think other people are like that. I also get angry very easily and fast and when Im mad i go on auto pilot and burn down anyone in my path. I wan to be happy and energetic and caring and loving and enjoy life again. I want to go to a club that 45 minutes away to see my favorite drag queen ever and do dance and party. I was going to go alone and that was my plan for about 2 weeks. I know going alone is awkward but I just wanted to enjoy my time and meet new people. But my best friend from high school just texted me to hang out at her place. I really want to see her and i offered to take her up but its too far for her. But we would have a great time and i want to see her. what should I do? |

He works in the department next to me, and we ve become pretty good work friends. Last Thursday he friend requested me on Facebook and I accepted. So he Facebook messaged me and we were laughing and talking. And he messaged me the next day, everything was fine, because like I said we re pretty good friends. The next day I worked with him, and we talked and laughed as usual. We sometimes tell dirty jokes and stuff, but I never thought anything of it, because he has a steady girlfriend, and he always starts the jokes. Well, we went on break together, and he added me on snapchat. After break when we were working he said. "Get ahold of me if you come in to work early. I m off tomorrow and running errands and I hate doing them by myself." I just laughed and told him I wouldn t be coming in early. Well, our shifts ended, and everything was good. Today, I was on Facebook, and I was searching for someone that has the same first name as him. He came up in my search bar, and his name had the plus sign by it, so I clicked on his name, and we re not friends anymore. So I got on snapchat, and it looks like he s unfriended me on there too. My question is why? He s the one that added me on both sites, and started messaging me first. So why all of a sudden did he unfriend me? I m not attracted to him or anything, we re just friends. So why would he add me, then delete me not even a week later? |

Yesterday, they went to visit a relative in another state, and I thought nothing of it because they always go there during summer break, Christmas break, thanksgiving break, ect. But then she texted me today and told me her grandma wants to move in with the relative. My friend doesn't want to. She has so many friends where we live. We've been best friends since we were nine, and now we're thirteen. The state is about 10 hours away so there's no way that we'll see each other but maybe once a year! Her grandma says that if she doesn't want to move. Then she'll have to move in with someone else, so it won't be a big deal for her grandma. But how do I ask my parents? |
| Question: How can I prove to my parents that I'm not a bad daughter? Posted: 25 Nov 2015 10:34 AM PST They're both EXTREMELY strict, like military type strict. Everything in our house has to be perfect and clean, and all of us kids have ridiculously high expectations. I'm not very school smart, I apply myself and do the best that I can but my grades are mostly B's. I'm even doing tutoring!? I'm the oldest and I'm like the "test kid" and they just treat me really rude. I was diagnosed by a doctor with major depression, panic disorder, and mild OCD but my parents both think that I'm using these as an excuse to get pity and that I'm just faking them. I rarely ever get in trouble, but the one major time I did was when my friend & her boyfriend got caught with weed by a police officer and I was there so according to the cop I'm "guilty by association and they have no proof that I was not smoking as well" I offered to take a drug test and everything but neither the officer nor my parents even cared to listen to me, they just kept saying that I was irresponsible for being high!? I've never done drugs or anything and they don't trust me at all now (they barely did before) and I have no idea how I can prove to them that I'm not a s***** daughter... Help!? Also, I'm 17 if that helps.. |

I am really concerned about this because no normal friendship goes on like that. He gets mad over Minecraft most of the time, I tell him to chill, he asks me why do I care if I get mad. I say because we are friends. He is selfish sometimes and rarely contributes while I sacrafice many things for him. What really gets me confused is that it all happened when he turned 13. He just changed. Since then, he rarely listens to me. I decided to talk about him about this issue and assumes I'm getting mad over minecraft. I give him many friendship speeches. | Question: Creeped one of my neighbors out and want to make it right.What are my options? Posted: 25 Nov 2015 10:08 AM PST I parked my car and was walking back to my house. While walking back to my house I had to pass my neighbors house. I made this mistake of glancing at my neighbor through her door window while walking past her house. We made eye contact for about 3 seconds. The next day I see that they literally tapped a carpet up where the door window should be. I now have earned the status of creeper in the area I just moved into a new area this not what I want. How can I make this right? It's not like I was peeping and souly trying to look into their window just to creep on people I was literally just walking back to my house. Backstory about me . I'm 22 years old I work for a fortune 500 company and just bought a new house but so far am off to a bad start making friends in the new area that I live in. Should I go over and try to talk to her and make things right? Or would that make me even more creepy? Am I better off just ignoring my next door neighbor and just not worrying about it? Unfortunately I do care what people think of me and I do not want to be thought of as a creeper for making eye contact with someone through a window while walking past their house. About the area - I live in a gated Community - 10 minutes away from the River and Downtown. Most of my neighbor are successful individuals and I would hate to have a have my imaged tarnished from the incident I described. I really need to find a way to make this right. |

She sometime back met my bro and sent me her number insisting I call her. When I called her she didn t have much to say to me but set up a meeting in which she stood me up. Later she meets my mum and still insists I call her. This time I called her out on it and had a nasty arguement. We resolved It 3days later but I haven t called her since. She tried calling me but I ignored and never responded which is about 7months. I admit, I still love her but I can t get over the fact that she could be such a bigot and that I was attracted to that. |

Posted: 25 Nov 2015 08:40 AM PST This guy was talking a lot of crap for a long time & I got sick and tired of it & he wanted to fight me. I was under peer pressure by people so today we went in the bathroom & he took off his shirt & before I could throw a punch, he started hitting me bad. He hit me on the side of the head & in the back causing 2 huge bumps, punched me in my mouth causing me to fall down & hit the sink & I started bleeding. Now I have 2 holes on the side of my mouth. I don't want to even go to school anymore because I know for a fact that everyone is going to make fun of me saying that I got beat up. I don't want to tell any faculty or the principal because I would be known as a snitch. I was embarrassed on top of that because a lot of people in the bathroom saw me get beat up & they started recording it. Nobody helped break up the fight & just left me there. I'm a senior in high school (12th grade). I don't know what to do. I feel as if I need stitches on my lip. Any feedback at this point would be greatly appreciated! |
