Question: Does a fan blowing on your bed make it cooler than the rest of the room? Posted: 28 Nov 2015 09:11 PM PST My husband swears the sheets on his side are cooler than mine when we go to get in at night because the fan blows on his side (we never turn it off.) |
Question: I don't trust my boyfriend and I don't know what to do? Posted: 28 Nov 2015 09:10 PM PST I've been dating someone the last few months and I'm having problems trusting him. Sometimes he says something to me and I flat out don't believe him. It's just a feeling inside I have. Here's an example of many things he says. On our first date he wanted to have sex with me and was trying. He didn't mention anything about a condom. We didn't have sex but he wanted to badly. I made him get tested for hiv and stds before I slept with him and his results were good-he didn't have hiv. After about two months of sleeping together I decided I wanted us to use condoms and also asked him to get retested for hiv. He told me he'd have no problem using condoms and said that was totally fine. Before we had sex one night he got one ready by the bed. When he was getting close I told him to put it on and he kinda laughed and said "Are you serious? You really expect me wear it?" I said yes and suddenly he said, "Oh I'm not hard anymore. I guess we'll have to try again later." We talked about the condoms and he said he ALWAYS has used condoms when having sex in the past. I don't believe him at all. He never once offered to wear a condom and after I asked him to please wear one he wouldn't. If he was so against using condoms with me, it doesn't make sense that he always used them in the past with other women. I like him a lot and he's been good to me but I can't kick this feeling that he's lying to me about many things. I just don't trust him and don't know how to move forward. |

Question: Why won't my goldfish move? Posted: 28 Nov 2015 03:12 PM PST A few days ago I got 2 new goldfish. I introduced them to the water gradually and have ensured their water is always clean, treated (as its tap water) and well oxygenated. I dont over feed them and they have plenty of room. One of them is fine and swims around as expected. However the second one sits either under the filter or between the filter and the side of the tank! He has been like this for the last few days. At first I thought he was dead but every so often he will swim around for a few seconds like normal but always returns to his spot under the filter! Does anyone know why he might be doing this? |

Question: POLL: DO YOU EVER GET OVER IT WHEN SOMEONE EMOTIONALLY HURTS YOU??? Posted: 28 Nov 2015 09:06 AM PST I lost my virginity last year at 22 years old to the guy(who's26 now) but he didn't think I was good enough because I wasn't that smart to him, he went to private school plus Washington D.C. university in Washington D.C. he attended the Obamas inauguration in college. he dates women only from age 18-25 but anyway when I told him I told him I missed him after 3 months of not hearing from him he didn't respond back but before I told him he did respond and after that I left a few hours go by and then told he wasn't a real man and that a real man wouldn't have did something as horrible as he did. after that I never heard from him again and itsbbeen a year now. since then I found a guy who really loves me but I still think about my first because it still hurts me and not only that I've been emotionally hurt so many times before by a man including my father. but I can say that emotional heart break can really screaw you up. sometimes I wonder if he deleted my number I heard guys don't do it because they don't want to misd the opportunity sleeping with the woman again. but I know he's back with his girlfriend without a care in this world |

Question: My husband works 18 hours per day and gets angry at me? Posted: 28 Nov 2015 07:35 AM PST We have a one year old daughter together. I basically care for her all day and all night, every day since she was a newborn. My husband usually works 16 hours per day but recently has 18 hour days a few days per week (he will literally sleep at work). I feel kind of sad because he's never really home...ever. He lives at his job. On weekends he's not home either and if he is he goes and hangs out with friends. He never ever bonds with our daughter. I feel like eventually this might cause me to want to have a divorce. I don't want it to come to that. I have suggested things in the past like having one day per week where we can spend time together. Or maybe an actual weekend where he can rest up one day and the next day I get a little break and get to go out for once. He will usually get angry and say "well, you're the one who wanted to keep the kid, so you deal with it!" ...it makes me sad to hear him say that :( I feel like I'm not even married. I can't really go out much because I am literally taking care of my daughter 24/7. I feel like he hates me and wants nothing to do with me and our daughter :( Is it hopeless? He works in the movie business with lighting. I realized taking care of a baby was 24/7, what I didn't realize was that my husband seems to not even exist in my life since having a baby. I love my daughter and this has nothing to do with her. I just feel like we are all so spread apart. I have asked him about working, and he said "oh so you are going to pay for a babysitter/daycare with your check!" He's always so bitter about any idea I have said. He won't ever switch jobs. He talks about it sometimes but he is pretty much...addicted to his work. I don't think he believes he can get another job. He will usually get mad if I bring it up...tbh there isn't much time to even bring it up because he is never at home. :( I am thankful for him providing, I just feel like he is a stranger. Sometimes I don't see him pretty much for half a month at a time, and when I do...it feels weird to be around him. Like, he lives a seperate life. Also, I don't get any of his money. I always have to ask his permission even to get groceries. He gets mad if I ask for any money..says "well there is a roof over your head". I don't know :( I just need advice it's really making me depressed. I don't even think my daughter knows he's her dad. They never see each other. This has caused lots of problems ...we don't have any sex life..ever. Also, because he doesn't allow me to have my own bank account/money it makes me feel isolated. Other problems as a result of this is basically he wasn't there for my daughter's birthday..wasn't there when I gave birth to her...wasn't there for christmas. He basically lives at work. What is the point of this relationship if there is none? Also when he does have time off...yes he does go and drink with his friends. I don't have that luxury..ever. I just feel like it's spiraling out of control. One day per week isn't asking much I don't think. I can't really think of anyway to fix it, I did like the exercising idea though, thanks :) |

Question: Marriage advice needed badly? Posted: 28 Nov 2015 06:23 AM PST My husband and I got married this april. We have been together 3 years. It s literally been hell. Everything I do is wrong. He s always been this way, but I m at a breaking point. This Monday he got so angry at me for not commenting on his new shirt he slept in the guest room. Tuesday if this week I neglected to tell him I puked in the middle of the night Monday and so since I have "major communication problems" he said I make him miss being single and I m a horrible wife. Thursday was thanksgiving and I escaped around family. Friday I turned our dining room light off and he asked if I turned it off, I was walking out and said yes without turning to face him. That got me a **** you, your a horrible communicator your cant even show me enough respect to turn around, if you don t want me here I ll leave. I m at my wits end. I m losing my mind. |

Question: Modern Marriage Trends? Posted: 28 Nov 2015 04:19 AM PST In modern day America you see a lot of young girls becoming pregnant in their mid to late teens and some of those being married by their junior year of high school or early years of college. Men getting married typically in their mid to late years of college (Ages 18-21 for girls and 21-25 for guys) What do you think of this emerging trend? Does the trend reflect a lower chance of marriage at a later age if dating is withheld until completion of post high school education or does it reflect a great divorce rate for those who do marry early due to either premarital child birth or simple young eagerness? What are your opinions on modern marriage trends? |

Question: My husband doesn't want to celebrate Christmas!!!!!!? Posted: 27 Nov 2015 09:47 PM PST So my husband is really big on the bible which is completely fine with me because we are Catholic . But he's read it like twice and says that it mentions nothing about putting up a tree on December 25 so he tells me he doesn't want to celebrate it and doesn't want me or my one and a half year old daughter to either which completely breaks my heart because I love chrismtas it's my favorite holiday! His mom says I should just get a tree anyway because his family made an effort every year for them and he loved it. Then I said send me home then so I can celebrate with my family then he says that I don't respect his wishes or his decisions. I'm so sad idk what to do guys I need help:(( |
Question: My husband doesn't like when I wear tight clothes? Posted: 27 Nov 2015 07:14 PM PST He said that wearing certain kind of clothes will make other men look at me even if that's not my intention. And that make bring other problems such as adultery and etc. So he wants me to wear decent clothes, not tight, and that doesn't reveal (not even a bit). I told him that whether or not, men will still look at me and neither of us can control that. He is really getting on my nerves because of this. I don't want to do it in a harsh way, so please give me some advice. |
Question: Any military wives out there? ...please? Posted: 27 Nov 2015 02:23 PM PST I'm falling for this guy in the Navy. He is not currently deployed... But he will be. I was just wondering..... Question: How to talk to this lady who texted my husband? Posted: 27 Nov 2015 09:57 AM PST So about this women who texted something sexual to my husband. My husband told her to txt his government work phone. The one I can't see. But I got her number b4 he deleted the message. I want to talk to her but I don't know how to get the truth out of her without seeming offensive or rude. I just want to know what's going on and I don't know what kind of Person she is. What should I do ? |
Question: Is there more to his story? Posted: 27 Nov 2015 09:10 AM PST So my husband and I went out on a date and while we were driving to our destination I see a lady text his phone and it said she some sexual words. And he immediately deleted it thinking I didn't read it. When i confronted him the next day his reason for deleting it was that he didn't want to ruin our date. After deleting it he texted her " don't text this phone, my wife can see this text my work phone #### don't respond" his work is government property and so I cannot get his password.. I later see in his phone that he called her twice and he told me he didnt call her. He later tells me that hes trying to get two inside scoop basically, he works in law enforcement and that's how he know her. He later tells me that that was a lie and that she was a girl from the past but he said he never did anything with her. I later found out that her last name was where she was located and he was on that street right after work and then came home. I jus want someone to convince me that I'm overthinking this. Not to toot my own horn but I'm attractive I have assets but I'm just not as sexual of a person as him. We have 2 kids together...we re both 23.we re so young I know. |
Question: Can anyone shed some light on "open marriages"? Posted: 27 Nov 2015 07:37 AM PST I just found out a guy ive been sleeping with is married. I feel like a wh*re, We were seeing each other around 3 times each week for 5 months.I found out when he left his phone at my house and his wife rang,I had a conversation with her and she knew my name, where I lived etc,and said she knew we were sleeping together, and its fine as they have an "open marriage". Do you think the person should at least let this be known before having sex with someone? The wife said she's " fine with it" as they both do it. but I feel guilty as h*ll and disgusting I met him through my friend. He told her that he was single. |
Question: Very sad on holidays... I never truly have a family after the divorce? Posted: 26 Nov 2015 02:39 PM PST Met my current partner 8 years ago and thought he was a good fit. It ended up he wanted a prenup if we were to marry because he had inheritance plus a job. Its not my ideal of a marriage so I refused. Life had been quarrelsome at times due to the fact that he didn't want to commit. I went through therapy in order to stay peaceful with him. Then he lost his job 2 years ago but ironically my career excelled. I'm not sure if he just started to have time to give our relationship more thoughts or he is completely practical given his new financial situation. He mentioned marriage a couple of times but I ignored it. Practically speaking, marriage isn't at my advantage b'cuz my money will be new money that is made during marriage while his money is inheritance which, in CA, can't be divided at time of a divorce. I made up my mind marriage isn't for us anymore. However, the relationship isn't about love anymore either. Part of the reason we stay is because my 10 year old son and him are attached; and part of the reason is we're lazy to change. Holidays are sad days for me because I never truly feel I have a family. If I stay, we're doing daily things together; If I leave, nothing happens. If I die, he can't get my SS and likely my out of state family will have to take care of the aftermath; if he dies his family will have the right to do whatever. Not me. Everything seems setup for an easy split. This is not called a family. When holidays are celebrating being with family, I feel sad. . I'm not as practical as it sounds in the post (I had to cut out lot of text b'cuz ran of space). The way I'm today is the result of what he did the first place. I'm not sure if I'd been trained to be more practical or I'm revenging him. It is just like someone did bad things to you and you're all guard up against that person.I don't like what had been built in the relationship... thinking of going to counselor. Lots of resentment on my side that has to get past. |

Question: Wife spends money but has quit trying to be attractive.? Posted: 26 Nov 2015 10:55 AM PST Same old story, wife always blowing tons of money but more & more doesn't try & be attractive or place any emphasis on our marriage, I'm so ready to move on! Eager to meet someone that's actually interested in me in any way. |
Posted: 26 Nov 2015 06:18 AM PST I'm a 21 year old I'm 35 weeks and my soon to be ex husband it's 28 . We have 4 yrs together . I'll make this as fast as I can. He didn't have a good job I did and I would pay all the bills on top of that I will do the house chores. He always talked to other girls(cheated) and I was a very good wife to him . I would let him borrow my truck to go to work. I was always the one putting all the effort into us . After I even suffer from domestic violence from him. Honestly I was a GREAT WOMEN! I press charges on him and he will go for assault . This is my question . Will he ever look back and see everything he lost ? Just been curious ! I will never go back to him but I just want to know if he will ever realize what he lost ?! Ps. He has not look for me or ask if I need anything . On top of that he chocked me and I black out at 29 weeks pregnant. And the abused has been going on since I meet him . |
Question: How do i learn to trust my husband after he had an affair with my best friend? Posted: 26 Nov 2015 03:10 AM PST |
Question: How do I let people know I want to get married ? Posted: 26 Nov 2015 02:02 AM PST I really seriously want to get married . I don't think you can have a good marriage unless you really want to get married and you're willing to work at it . Any woman I get with has to believe that you can't have a good marriage unless you really want to get married and you're willing to work at it . At one point, my friend Tom said "We have to get Mike a girlfriend !" . Tom's girlfriend, Barbara, said "Why ? He seems all right all by himself !" . I should have said "Fine thing calling me a homosexual, Barbara !" in an angry tone of voice . I can't have women thinking "I can't marry Mike because he doesn't want a woman in his life !" . By the same token, I can't fit the stereotype of "Mr . Single Forever" who doesn't want a girlfriend, a wife, or a marriage . My number one rule is that people have to have an accurate picture of what I want and what I believe . How do I let people know I want to get married ? Thank you in advance for your answers . |
Question: What would you do if your wife says they feel guilty having sex? Posted: 25 Nov 2015 11:16 PM PST So I found myself in a strange predicament. I've been married 7 years and until about a month ago I thought my marriage was doing pretty well and was chugging right along. That's when my wife hit me with a bombshell. She started by asking if I'd be okay with an open relationship. While we had entertained the idea a year before neither of us seemed comfortable with it when it so it was my impression we decided it was out of the question. But still my first instinct at such a question is to ask her who she has in mind. She claimed she had nobody in mind. So I told her no, I don't think it would be a good idea and explained that I thought that question had already been answered. That's when it got weirder. She claimed the reason she asked was because she was hoping that I would find someone else and move on. I didn't know what to say other than "Why would you want that?". She claimed it was because she didn't feel the same way about me anymore. That the romance had gone. I rationalized and told her that's normal. I explained that nobody is as passionate in their marriage after a couple of years. In fact there's thousands of psychology programs aimed at helping people cope with that it's so common. She answered by saying she doesn't want to be with a man anymore, she wants to be with a woman. I've known since long before our marriage that she was bisexual. She also said that she feels guilty every time we have sex (which is rare at this point). I'm not sure how to process this I know that she has been watching a lot of Greys Anatomy and Orange is the New Black religiously. To the point where if she runs out of new episodes she watches reruns, it's pretty obsessive how much she watches that. She has mentioned that she is very invested in some of the lesbian relationships and will cry for an hour or more if they break up in the shows. I brushed it off as a weird thing she does with soap opera's but now I think I should have been paying closer attention. The thing that took me by surprise is that a day earlier she had been talking about how she can't wait to buy a house and we can each have our own rooms. And to this day she still talks in terms that we'll be together in the future. I've asked her from time to time if she wants a divorce and she's said no, not right now. But for the last month it really feels like we've just been biding our time. The thing that makes me afraid is I have two wonderful children with her. And I know how seldom divorcee dads usually get to see their kids. Plus I'm in massive amounts of student debt still and the thought of paying for a divorce on top of that is a little daunting. But like I said it really feels like we are biding our time until it's more convenient. Especially since she doesn't have a job at the moment. She also said that she feels like we are really good friends, but not lovers. Damn Yahoo for their ridiculous character limits. There is a lot of relevant information to get down here. |
Question: Will I ever find a husband if I don't want kids? Posted: 25 Nov 2015 11:08 PM PST I personally don't like kids at all, and I have no intentions of ever having any. But lately I wonder, will anyone ever want to marry the girl who doesn't want a family? I feel like a lot of guys probably want to be dads someday but what if I date someone and I can't give that to them? Are there people out there who are like me and don't want kids? Or am I hopeless? |
