Posted: 14 Nov 2015 09:22 PM PST I have a very strong feeling that the feeling is mutual. We just connected. He looked straight in my eye and I just want to melt in his arms... But I'm worried for him because I don't want to hurt him. But I don't know if I can stop flirting with him. He is really hot. |

Question: Husband sits on phone all night while I do everything? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 08:28 PM PST As stated before, my obgyn has said I need to go on bedrest 3x now. I have had abdominal cramping, fell several times, and injured my back and hips. Today, I have asked him 4x to clean the litter box. His mother has even called him to remind him that this is his responsibility while I am 7 months pregnant. His telephone rang and it was his friend from work, they talked for several hours while I worked myself sick cleaning the house. Litter box still not clean- dogs were fed by me- etc, etc. He even took his call out on the patio once and in the bedroom. I know it was a man he was talking to, because I spoke to the man as well. Does he have a right to go and talk on the phone for several hours while I am cleaning house and doing virtually everything against my dr's advice? Also- he got a new telephone tonight and has done nothing but play around on it all day since he got it. Sits on the couch, relaxing, playing on the phone or taking calls. Completely oblivious to the fact that I am in excruciating pain and going against medical advice. |

Question: Need help in getting rid of a narcisstic and abusive partner? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 07:24 PM PST Hi, I would like to seek everyone's advice about my current situation. I am living and in a relationship with a narc and she's the worst thing that ever happened to me, i don't really love her anymore and i tried for how many time to kick her out but she won't budge. she feels very entitled to whatever i have coz she's living a very comfortable life with me while i am already overworking myself just to pay our bills off, i recently discovered that she's been planning to take off somewhere far "to work" and leave me, then when i asked her to leave and dropped her at the parking lot, she won't leave, i already left her outside and made a threat that if she will get up, i am so ****** and i need to get out of my house,. i recorded everythin so that i could later on legally, but she's stil here and i don;t know how else i could get rid of her. please help. |
Question: Contempt of court question? please help single mother of 3 with crazy ex!!? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 07:17 PM PST my ex has visitation once a month, which i comply with. last night he came to my house unexpected with the cops at 9pm. i didnt answer the door because i was scared and do not trust the police. and my kids dont even want to go with him. i contacted him later that night to set up visitation for saturday which i got cussed and yelled at by him and his wife. he makes setting up arrangements very difficult. i blocked him and his families numbers due to the constant harrassment everyday. most of the time its not even about seeing the kids, its to put me down and insult me. hes very vindictive and bitter since the divorce. my kids do not want to go with him and have ask me to change there last names. my court order says from friday 6pm-sunday 6pm once a month. he said he documented this weekend nov. 13? november is not up and i plan on sending them later on this month. can i still get in trouble for contempt of court? thanks |
Question: How much should personal expense of husband and wife be? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 06:45 PM PST My husband makes about $5700 a month and we have three kids. Our mortgage is only $1000. He doesn t live with us currently and spends about $1500-1800 a month!! (He lives in a cost free housing with free utilities) Even when we all were living together he spends nearly $1000 and those are all food, drink (including alcohol), cigarettes and entertainment. I have suggested that he has his own account so he gets better idea of how much he spends and reconsider his spending, but he doesn t seem to want to realize that his spending is ridiculously high. I know it depends on how much other expenses are, but in general, how much should a husband and a wife spend ? I am a stay-at-home mom and spends about $50 -150 dollars for myself which I think too little. I d rather live in a better house and start to save college fund for kids. Your opinion is appreciated. |
Posted: 14 Nov 2015 06:36 PM PST Due to this reason I have not gone home for the last 4 years. I live in US and they are in India. They do not want me to marry a guy that I like because of religion difference. I dont want him to convert and neither do I want to lose my family. Now I am graduating college and my family did not help out any. They never sent me money or gave me any support. I really miss them since I do not have anyone else beside them. I really want to go home but then I am afraid that they will marry me off with someone I dont know. After graduation I am taking a break and just working for few months and then start my masters degree. I dont know if I should get married or not. I am 28 and everyone in my family tells me that no one will marry me if I wait longer because I will be too old to have any kids. But then they dont agree with what I want to do. I dont know what to do anymore. Cant go home, cant get married.... can someone please shine some light to my situation. Thank you so much. |
Question: Does every relationship have issues? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 06:27 PM PST |
Posted: 14 Nov 2015 06:17 PM PST Lately my husband comes home from work gets on his ipad, watch Netflix, or plays a video.game. The only time we spend time together is when we eat dinner, have bible study at home, or watch tv, or go to church. I feel like here physically, but not here with me sometimes. All he's says is tired from work to do anything just wants to relax. I tried talking with him, but he says & stressed. Then he complains about I get to sit down all day at work so I just let him rest. When I ask if he wants to go out the answer is always no. Our sex life has declined to once a week. I have phone password & Facebook. I have found no evidence of cheating. I'm hurt he won't spend time with me. I'm not ugly woman either. Next Sunday is our anniversary. We talk about it. He says has a surprise for me. I'm planning on making it special. We haven't the best year for newlyweds my husband has anger issues. Lately he sleeps a lot. I'm so sad. I tried talking with him. I fake a smile when people ask about the newlyweds life & fake laugh. When were out in public he treats me great. Then we get home he doesn't spend time with me. Please someone help. I'm scared losing interest. If I try to have sex he pushes me off, turns away, fake sleep. I mostly stopped asking for it. Sometimes he gladly makes love with me. Our sex life is good when we have it. Sometimes I touch him & he gets defensive or roll his eyes when ask for hug & kiss. I see it in his eyes he's unhappy, when I ask he's says e everything fine. |

Question: Said "I love you" and she didn't say it back? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 05:19 PM PST feel stupid for saying it now. Yesterday night I told my girlfriend "I love you" for the first time. We were cuddling and talking after sex and I just felt like it was the right time so I just told her. I honestly thought she was going to say it back but she just smiled and kissed me. She didn't say anything about it when I left either so now I don't know what to say when I see her. We've been together for 5 months so does she not love me or did I say it too soon??? |

Question: Wife is fighting and being ridiculous over nothing? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 03:51 PM PST My wife and I are happily married and have been for the past 5 years, but my wife is angry at me and it's over something so stupid and I can't get her to forgive me. We were at a restaurant and a woman I knew in college saw me and waved I waved back and my wife and I sat down. This girl kept looking my way so I got up and went to the bar where she was standing with some friends. Now I had a "fling" with this girl in college but I don't have the feelings for her anymore. We caught up on each other's lives and I pointed out my wife and they waved and after about 20 minutes i started to walk away and she said she wants a hug goodbye so I hugged her and she kissed my cheek. My wife was watching all of this like a frickin hawk and she was stone silent the whole dinner and the way home. When we got home she called me a manwhore and started a huge fight about how I went up and talked to her and how we hugged and "kissed" I told her I didn't know she was gonna kiss me but she won't listen. She started crying and was really upset and she hasn't talked to me since. At first I thought my wife was joking around about being mad but boy was I wrong she's more angry at me that I've ever seen her. I feel the whole thing is ridiculous and I told her that and that made her even more angry. She honestly will not talk or look at me and it's really stupid but I wanna make up and forget about it, what do I say to get through to her. Word to the wise, guys don't get up and talk to your old gf's! |

Question: Do my parents getting divorced mean my mother loves me more then my father? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 03:20 PM PST My mother says she loves us more then my father because she tried harder in the marriage then he did. Also, she has stepped up her attacks because he got remarried last spring. They divorced 9 years ago but she has long told us it was him, not her, and that had he loved us as much as she did he would have fixed the marriage. I recently learned my mother was actually the one to file for divorce, not my father. So does this mean my mother loves me more and thus I should love her more? |
Question: Is it normal to not want a girlfriend after thirty? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 03:07 PM PST I just turned 35 and I keep on wondering why I do not want a girlfriend at all anymore. When I was younger I did, and I even got married to a woman, and we made a child together. Now, every time I think about a woman I get this anxiety feeling deep down, and a voice in my mind says, "don't trust her". Consequently and despite the fact that I do feel lonely, I never actually have any desire to pursuit a relationship. Is this normal for an older man? |

Question: I honestly don t know what to do anymore? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 02:07 PM PST My husband was a wonderful, affectionate, and cuddle type. Then we got married and had a baby. I know his work schedule but he never comes home. And I know he s taken up smoking again. I had to give up my job because he never comes home on time, therefore I had to call out to watch the baby. He doesn t even sleep in bed with me anymore. I don t know what to do or how to fix this, but I feel my life is falling apart. I m only insecure because my ex-boyfriend that I was going to marry after 3 years did the same thing. Turned out he was cheating and he kicked me out. Question: Why should he be allowed to get away with this? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 11:34 AM PST He lied to me about being divorced from his wife, starting a friendship with me and leading me to believe their would be more. He disappeared two weeks ago and after all that time of trying to figure out what happened, his WIFE texted me through his phone telling me to stop talking to her husband along with a threat that if she had to talk to me again things would get ugly. I needed to hear this from him. I tried contacting him but she intercepted each text calling me a whore and saying he was married each time. She called me through his phone and told me he lied to me about everything, that they had been messing around the entire time they were separated and that they hadn't gotten divorced at all. She mentioned some texts I had sent him in the past (she read them all) and I was naturally embarrassed because along with that she claimed she could take me to court for all of this because I was talking to a married man. I didn't know about this is the issue, along with the fact that he suddenly decided to disappear rather than tell me what he was doing, especially after I told him about the only other sexual interest in my life and how badly he had hurt me only weeks before he contacted me on facebook claiming he had had a crush on me in highschool. I kept trying to talk to HIM instead of his wife, but when she finally had enough and handed him the phone he refused to talk to me and hung up. My question; why does he get away with hurting me and still get a happy family? |

Question: New wife doesn't listen to me? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 10:41 AM PST I think we got married too young ( we're 21, 7 months into it. IDK when we dated it was really cool, but, now when I come home we never talk about my day or anything, everything is how her day was, what she did, news about her friends, etc. Why? If I try talking about something I wanna talk about, she checks out and goes on her phone. Why? we dated like 6 years before marriage |

Posted: 14 Nov 2015 10:10 AM PST What if you find a picture of your female best friend in lingerie on your husband's computer? Is there possibly a good explanation for this? Question: Husband spends my money...? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 09:33 AM PST My husband and I have a shared checking account. He spends our money, and leaves me with so little that I struggle to buy food, gas and other necessities. We both have jobs, and he makes slightly more. We have no savings, and joint debt. When I spend any money, I am automatically questioned and yelled at. I am an extremely frugal person, and often buy items at a deep discount or with coupons. When my family visited recently, they were shocked by the holes in my shoes, socks and clothing. I don't think I have bought clothes for over a year. My husbands pays his "baby mama" approximately $900-$1000 each paycheck and supports her while in college. My mother is pissed, and thinks he is using and controlling me. When I didn't have enough food to eat, and he bounced our account several times this past week I finally realized she might be right. He does not show concern for me, drinks often (likely alcoholic), disappears overnight every weekend, does crazy stuff when he drinks, and only talks to me when necessary. Those conversations don't go well, because he does not listen to me and has no respect. I don't feel close to him anymore, in fact, I am very resentful because I feel like I am being disrespected and taken advantage of. What do you think? |
Question: I want marriage, but at the same time I don't? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 09:18 AM PST I feel like I'll never be ready for marriage and that it will trap me forever, but then other times I dream of it and can't wait to spend forever with my boyfriend. I hate this! I'm sick of going back and forth, back and forth, back and forth! It feels like I change my mind about marriage every week! I'm an emotional wreck! I don't deserve to get married. Even if I did I would just get hurt someway somehow. I'm 21, but I feel like I'm a 14 year old when it comes to this. I feel so immature and I hate it! Because this isn't who I am! Why is this happening to me!?!? I can't be scared of commitment, because I commit to everything else just fine. What's wrong with me!? |
Question: Why is our household budget a secret? Posted: 14 Nov 2015 08:33 AM PST My wife provides all the income to support all the bills: 2 cars, mortgage, credit cards, utility bills, etc. We are not poor by any means, we live very comfortably. I am a house husband, (kept man?) I have no income, no access to money other than what she allows me access to (usually no more than $300.00), and I always let her know when I am spending anything. I give her all the receipts. I have no problem with this, it's her money. She keeps a private bank account I have no access to. I have to ask if there is money to grocery shop, buy tires for our vehicles, take animals to the vet, etc. I have asked at least four times over our marriage of 4-1/2 years to show me the budget: who gets paid when, how much is in savings, what is our budget for a certain item, etc. She refuses to show me anything and gets very defensive that I'm attempting to nose into her business. I don't understand... I explain to her that if anything happened to her I would be in a horrible situation: no income, no access to money to pay bills, no idea what needs to be paid. She assures me there will be plenty of insurance money to pay everything. I do not understand why I should be put in this situation. Why would our household finances be a secret? This does not give me any sense of security. I can't imagine doing this if the roles were reversed. What's your theory? |

Posted: 14 Nov 2015 06:00 AM PST I am asking this on American boards message boards because I was born and raised in America. If I ask in Indian message boards, many women think getting yelled at, disrespected at by their husband is ok, because he is like a god. In Indian culture, women are taught how to treat their husband, inlaws, etc, but they are NEVER taught how to BE TREATED with any sort of respect, or even simple courtesy you would give to a stranger. History: About a year back I escaped an abusive arranged marriage (person flown straight from India to USA) with someone who was physically, emotionally abusive, having affairs and would scream at me and get irritated at me if I made mistakes, or was too slow to do something. Last night I was helping my elderly father with changing batteries of a remote control, and since I was unfamiliar with it, I was slow in doing this. He got irritated and asked why am I so slow, that I have changed batteries in a remote many times before. I said this is how XYZ (name of abusive ex) used to treat me and my dad replied, anyone would react that way, and that I have done this so many times before. I then explained it has been 20 years since I changed batteries (when I was in school, I changed them in calculator), and I really didn't pay attention to what side is negative, what side is positive. Married Ladies, do you think it is ok if you Husband yells and screams at you if you do something wrong, or slow to do something. Hope I am explaining properly. By the way, it was my elderly father who made me realize my ex was abusive, and helped me leave the marriage. I was in denial, pushing things under the carpet. I also would like to add that I explained to my dad that I wasn't too familiar with automatically changing batteries, then dad explained that when I do things, I should pay attention to detail instead of doing it mechanically. Just wanted to clarify. |

Question: What happens when an ex spouse violates his or her settlement agreement? Posted: 13 Nov 2015 11:04 PM PST My ex husband and I have been divorced for almost a year now. I am newly remarried and he is engaged. Now that I have moved on, I realize that I have been walked all over after reading the settlement agreement. Currently, my ex husband has violated it more than once; such as failing to ask me to watch our children when the other parent can't. This has resulted in our kids riding the bus to his girlfriends mothers house when I should be offered the ability to pick them up first, which I could. I have currently filed complaints as I am dealing with stalking and harassing from both parties; being photographed as well as video taped. I have called the cops four times in one month and I do not know what to do or how to handle all of this. My question is this; if he violated his settlement agreement, which he has, what are my options in getting it resolved? I can't hire a lawyer till after the holidays and any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! |
Question: My husband freak out when I touched his phone. Is he hiding something? Posted: 13 Nov 2015 10:53 PM PST So me and my husband were laying in bed and we were playing around. I reached in his pocket where his phone was and he freaked out. He jumped up and started yelling at me. The mood changed and our playful time was over. I was very shocked over his reaction. I just sat there in shock. Our relationship has been perfect. We have a almost 2year old son and he has a five year old daughter from a previous relationship. He's lately been pushing me to get pregnant again. He always saying I want another baby. To get pregnant with my son I had to be on a medication called Clomid he wants me to start the medication again. Anyway if he is cheating I don't understand why he would be trying so hard to get me pregnant. I don't know why the overreaction. I have friends who bf were overprotective of their cell phones and they were cheating. Helpful advise wanted. |
Question: I caught my wife posting sexy ad on Craigslist and not sure how to confront her about it? Posted: 13 Nov 2015 10:31 PM PST My wife had an emotional affair with a man several years ago. It became a full blown affair and they were often intimate in his car because that was her fantasy. Today, I used her phone and saw downloads of muscular guys. I dug a little further on our computer and found e-mail replies for Wanting Muscular Latin men stating the same fantasy- which I know she's attracted to. I am somewhat turned on but disappointed to see this. It didn't seem she responded to any of them but I'm not even sure. One thing I know is she got burned from her last affair. It ruined her life and she lost custody of our children when tbe divorce finalized. I want to believe that she has changed but some of her actions prove other wise. What would you do? |

Question: Should I give up on sex? Posted: 13 Nov 2015 10:10 PM PST My husband and I have been together for 10 years. We met when we were 15. We are still very young. In the beginning our sex life was great. Then our daughter came along and things started to slow down. He never initiates the sex. I'm always the one who has to ask him for it. Most of the time he rejects me and tells me he's too tired from work. And when I finally get him to do it I feel like he only does it to shut me up. And it's really hard to enjoy the sex when i had to practically beg him for it. Regardless of all this I know that he still loves me. He spends all of his free time with our daughter and I. He's an amazing father and if it weren't for the issue with our sex life he would be the perfect husband. I don't want a divorce but I also don't want to be in a sexless marriage. I love him very much. He makes me very happy. I just wish he would want to make love to me. He tells me he loves me everyday. He hugs me and kisses me and holds my hand all day. We just never make love. We cuddle before bed and kiss then he just falls asleep and I stay up wanting him. I tell him that this bothers me and we discuss it and we make love and he promises to make love to me more often but sure enough nothing changes. We don't make love again until I bring up the discussion. I don't want him to make love to me just so we won't argue. I don't want to have to argue with him to get what I want. Should I just give up on sex. I'm afraid that if I wait for him it will never happen again. |
