Question: What did I do to this girl?? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 05:00 PM PST This one time, when I was a high school senior, during my gym class, the girls were playing Flag Football. So there was this other girl in my class who was running, so I got behind her aND I honestly forgot exactly what I did, but I think I pushed her from the back or dragged her from behind or something like that and we both fell to the gym floor. So then, I went up to her and ripped off both of her flags while she was still on the floor. As I got up, my gym teacher asked me if I was okay and I said yes, but another girl in my class was yelling at me saying that I didn't have to do that. So what did I do to this girl??? |
Question: How do I get the most out of youth? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 04:46 PM PST Here's the deal. I'm sixteen in high-school and it seems as if everyone else around me is having so much fun. Like, the normie life-style seems so much more appealing now that I'm older. I no longer want to ironically laugh at dank memes, talk about sweet fedora tricks, and jerk off to Filthy Frank and anime tiddie like my beta friends (whom I love, dearly). I want to turn up at concerts and ****, and hangout with the people that I've so wrongly misjudged for years. And I'm a versatile guy too. I can talk to you for hours about war/medieval history and Star Wars, but I'll also tell you what it's like being a local trap-lord, I can turn up very well, and I can pull hoes with my Kage Bunshin No Justu while going Super Saiyan 7.5. I'm partly and mostly associated with some pretty cool people, but none have asked me to come through and chill. How do even do this? I don't want to be some middle-aged, bitter man who constantly thinks about wait he could've done, or "Why didn't I Amanda Todd myself years ago"? You know? Oh, and while the contents of this question may seem comedic (I don't see how it would even seem so), this is a dire and serious inquiry. |
Posted: 16 Nov 2015 04:35 PM PST We've known each other for four years now, and are BFFS what can we do to be even closer? |
Posted: 16 Nov 2015 04:26 PM PST My friend likes some guy and he liked her to be honest picture and that's how they started talking. Well she added me to the group and I'm starting to like him. I know how much she likes me but I really do like him. I feel like the most crapiest friend and I don't know what to do. :( |
Posted: 16 Nov 2015 04:21 PM PST My friends say it's a form of perversity to get off on looking up the skirts of figurines of female characters. I told them it's not perverted it's just creepy. It's not that big of a deal but I am a little bit curious about what other people have to say about this. |
Question: Do your friends affect your grades? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 04:03 PM PST I normally make good grades, but I've had friends who have made very low grades and I noticed that my grades went down. Can you friends affect your grades? |
Question: My friend is jealous of my best friend? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 03:55 PM PST So, my best friend (known her for 2 years) moved to Ohio last year, and moved back this year. The think is, while she was gone, I made a new friend who has always been very clingy. I'm very excited and happy that my best friend is back, so I'm hanging out with her more often. My new friend, T, came up to me this afternoon and asked me if I was trying to replace her with L(my best friend). I told her no, I'm just excited because I haven't seen her for a year. That is the truth. I've had this trouble before, since I'm considered one of the 'cool' kids in my class (I hate being considered cool), and I hated it so much, I did nothing about it. Im not trying to replace T with my best friend, but shes getting a little too clingy. What am I supposed to do? I can't ignore her, she sits right beside me in ALL my classes. She sits next to me at lunch ALL the time. She follows me around EVERYWHERE. The thing is, all my new friends are clingy. they think that I shouldn't have any other friends, and they should be my only friend. I'm getting really annoyed at them, because they interrupt my conversations with the teachers, my friends, everyone. What do I do? |

Question: Is this friendship dying?? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 03:33 PM PST I hang out with four close friends and we all hang out together. We have all been friends throughout elementary, middle school and we are still friends now in the tenth grade. But for awhile now, my friend, Samantha, has been off lately. I tore my ACL in a minor car accident a couple months back and I have to go through rehab until January. And I am one the people who never mention it when they hurt or feel bad, but one day, my knee was hurting very badly. (I actually had to go home early because it got too swollen) So I just casually mentioned that it hurt and she looks at me and says, "That's fantastic." Sarcastically. Whenever I invite her over, she only hangs out with my younger sister then complains how annoying she is. I was eating kettle corn at her house and my jaw locked in place. I told her I couldn't move it and she says, "Suck it up." And left the room and didn't come back for another hour. I mean, I would understand if I constantly complained but that was probably the only two times I have. I had a doctors appointment one day about my knee and he said I couldn't go to a amusement park that I was planning to go with her and I told her and she said, "I don't care. I'll just invite someone else." I'll be talking about serious stuff and she'll ignore me and say, "Were you talking to me?" Or if I'm talking about anything else. She'll either say, "I don't care." "That's boring." "Say that again? I wasn't paying attention." Is it me? Or her? |
Question: Had a bad day...cheer me up? 10 pts? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 03:30 PM PST So i had a pretty bad day today. From people being rude and accidentally being rude(friends shrugged it off, still feel bad, tho) Any stories that could cheer me up? Thanks loves xx |
Question: Can you be friends with someone on snapchat without them being friends with you? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 03:20 PM PST or in other words, if someone adds you and then deletes you, will they still show up on your friends list? |
Question: What would happen if you miss school for too many days? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 03:16 PM PST Hi, I've missed school a lot now and I don't know what's going to happen. I saw my teacher outside my house when I was looking out my window and I was scared so I didn't open the door. I always had to make excuses up and I tell my friends that I was sick or I woke up late. Some people knew I was ditching school but didn't seem to tell on me. My parents didn't know I was ditching until my teacher came to my house and showed my parents my attendance. Of course I got in trouble. I was stupid and didn't seem to care so I kept ditching. One day my parents got a note in the mail from my school. I don't know what it said. If any of you guys can tell me what would happen, I would appreciate it :) Thanks. |
Question: Why are people bullies? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 03:10 PM PST Are they just extremely insecure people themselves and feel the need to take it out on people, ruining their lives. Ruining school experiences, work experiences etc.. Why must they feel the need to bully a generally happy person until they're miserable. |
Question: Should I keep it separate or not? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 02:54 PM PST So, I met this guy (V) about a month ago at school. We went for a drink two times and he is really nice and cool and I enjoy talking to him. I have one friend (N) I've known since we were born (literally). We really love each other, share everything, spend much time together and so on. The thing is, she can be difficult at times. She is quite spoiled and stubborn and always expects to get her own way. If she doesn't, she will bother you for ages. Last summer, N and I made many new friends but now that group is falling apart completely so I've been trying to find some new people to hang out with. I've been thinking if I should invite N the next time V and I go for a drink. If it remains just V and I, it could become boring after some time. If I invite N, it might be the start of a new group. But I also want to have another option that doesn't include N directly so I don't have to spend all the time with her. What do you think I should do? |
Posted: 16 Nov 2015 02:43 PM PST My best friend, Elijah, has been acting very strangely lately and I don't know what's wrong with him. We were outside playing and just throwing rocks and all that when suddenly my little sister's puppy came running out. Elijah asked if he could pet it and I was like sure because it wasn't my dog. I rushed back inside to use the bathroom only to come back outside and see elijah with a pocketknife in his right hand and holding the puppy aggressively by the neck with his left hand. I was like "wtf are you doing dude?" He replied with oh nothing and just put the knife back in his pocket. One time we were outside and I saw him playing with a dead squirrel! It was very, very creepy. And he also keeps touching my arms, hands, and fingers like pressing his fingers on my hands so I ask him what he was doing and he just said, while giggling, that he "was just feeling my bones." He said that it gave him a "tingly feeling inside" when he did it. Should I tell this to his parents because he lives right across from me and we go to the same school? |

Question: Poll for women 35-45 (only, please)? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 02:24 PM PST This poll is purely for my curiosity, not for collecting data. (and to settle an discussion with a friend) Age: Marital Status: Kids: Work: (stay at home, work full time, part time, work at home, etc) How often do you get together with girlfriends without kids around? How satisfied are you with that frequency? If you're not satisfied, what is keeping you from doing it more often? (lack of child care, lack of available friends, etc) Lastly, if you're married/attached, does your partner do more or less than you with his guy friends? Thank You!! |
Question: Why is my friend acting this way? Do you think it's a matter of just not liking me? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 02:10 PM PST Last year I met a friend who we became pretty cool with. She lost her long term boyfriend of 14 years and I would help her through it all. She also helped me indirectly because I needed a good friend who's not judgmental as that was the one thing she said that made me give this friendship a go. The non-judgmental thing turned out to be not true. She eventually found someone new, started feeling better though the year. Last Thursday, she had a house party to say good bye to our friend who's moving away. It was suppose to be super small of 3-4 people for 2 hours 8-10pm. It turned out to be an all out big party of tons of people, there was loud music, drinking and some where smoking marijuana in the bathroom (i don't do it because it's horrible smell wise and I don't like how it makes me feel). The night ended. Couple of days later I seen her in my front yard, she was going to walk by me. without saying hi but she said we need to talk! I'm going to gather that she doesn't like people getting drunk and having a good time in her house lol. The only person she had a problem with is me, yet, one person passed out in the kitchen. everyone was over the top. Why does she always say i'm the only one she has a problem with. I feel like she's just doesn't like me that much anymore. Do you think that as well? No I wasn't going nut case that night, i was doing everything others were doing which was having fun. opinions? |
Question: How can I get this guy to stop following me around? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 02:03 PM PST So there's this guy that for years now has been trying to be my friend. Since the beginning of last school year, he just will follow and try to talk to me whenever he gets the opportunity (we have a couple classes together). Even when he sees that i'm trying to hang out with my friends, that won't stop him from trying to join in. My friends are also kinda fed up with him and I've asked him once to leave me alone but he won't listen (on that note, he's a dumbass). He is so clingy it borders on being gay. How can i tell him nicely to stop trying to follow me around? Additional details: We're both high school students, he has little knowledge of social norms |

Question: How do you deal with not having a phone? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 01:58 PM PST I'm in seventh grade and I'm the only one without a phone (or iPod). I feel really left out all the time because my friends text each other and whenever I have to talk to someone I have to ask my friends to text them. It's embarrassing and my dad won't let me have one until high school. What do I do? |

Posted: 16 Nov 2015 01:44 PM PST Yesterday I did something I regret , a lot . I was talking to my friend about hair textures but then I said not all hair textures are the same then I said ' some Africans have straight hair and they are called sommalians' the this boy turned round and exclaimed no they don't and I said 'yeah' then he said ' I'm Somalian then I said 'yeah' again then he said I'm not sure if he was sarcastic or not but then he said oh ok then. I was shocked because I've all ways been told that by my parents and understood later his reaction. I feel bad. I didn't want to offend him or sound big headed. I guess I messed things up again I always do these type of things and it's really annoying because I feel it's often too late to apologise. Pls help I don't want to sound like a horrible person. |
Question: What do you think of his text? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 01:32 PM PST So my brothers friends wanted to prank my brother by terrorizing him by wearing masks and holding gun to his head One of the friends refused to be part of the plan. he was saying that it's a bad idea. I sent a thank you and I respect you text to the friend that didnt take part in the plan. And this is what he replied (by the way my brothers name is john). What so you think of his reply: "In the group chat I mentioned that it's a bad idea and I'm not going to be a part of the "prank" (its not pranking. its terrorizing). But the rest of the guys insisted on it and I just wish I had let John know about it. Anyways, I don't know how so many "friends" could agreed on terrorizing John. And excuse the quotations. I place quotations around friends because I do question the friendship of anyone who tries to induce such terror and fear in another friend. But I wanted to talk to you more on Saturday. I wanted to ask you how John is doing after the terror attack and just honestly and genuinely inquire about his well being. He looked good Saturday so I'm not as worried as I initially was. But yeah, how is he? " |
Question: Why do people always ask for rides? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 01:23 PM PST I've been driving now for four years and have found that telling people you have a car can be a mistake. For some annoying reason, people who dont drive get this glow on their face when you tell them you have a car. Almost as if they're thinking "I can use this guy." Throughout high school and now in college I get asked by people if I can take them places. It starts off with me having a normal conversation where I'll mention me driving somewhere. Then someone will ask the annoying quiestion; "you drive?" This will then lead to them asking me if I can drop them off here or pick them up there. Most of these are on a want rather than a need basis. What makes it worse is they feel as if I am obligated to do so. Now me being Mr. Nice I find it hard to say no, so I'm asking for a way to indirectly deny someone from asking me for rides. I was thinking of telling people I have no gas, but then they'd offer me gas money. "My car needs an oil change" sounds like a good line too, but I need one to make them feel like I'll never be able to. Any suggestions? |
Question: My "teenage years" suck? Selfish for feeling this way? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 01:20 PM PST I'm 15. (RANT AHEAD) Kids my age around me say that I'm not "enjoying my teenage years" and stuff like "you need to enjoy life while you're young because the burden of adulthood is around the corner." And it honestly pisses me off, it's like they can't understand! I need to take care of my apartment and my siblings because mom is working. They can't get it through their thick skulls not everybody can enjoy running around partying or even have time for friends? I will admit that I am kinda jealous of their freedom, but I can have fun later when I'm an adult, right? |

Question: Why don't I fit in with anyone? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 12:15 PM PST Im still in high school and there are many different groups at my school and I don't fit in with any. I've tried to fit in and it just doesnt happen, I'm also the one that is always left out too. At the beginning of this year I tried to hang with this group of girls and they left me out, forgot about me, and pretty much acted like I wasn't there, so then I decided to talk to some different girls so they included me and everything for a little while then all of the sudden they just started leaving me out and treating me like crap when I didn't even do anything. So now I'm not even sure what I want to do, all my friends go to parties and hang out every weekend, but I don't do anything on the weekends because no one invites me to do anything or at least to just hang out. I'm starting to work on learning html, improving my dancing, and drawing so that I'll stay occupied. I have all As and Bs and all my stuff is cleaned at my house, so I don't have much to do. But even my mom and dad notice I'm always left out, they always say I have a different soul because I'm always different from others and I'm interested in things that not most teens my age are interested in. |
Question: Am I over thinking this? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 11:53 AM PST So I worked with this girl starting about 8 months ago. We talked a handful of time the first 5 months. About 3 months ago we started school and she ended up being in one of my classes. We started talking a ton more and now its almost 8+ hrs a day. At first, we started out as just friends, but now were more than friends. I told her I liked her and she said she liked me too. That was about 2 weeks ago and we have been on 2 dates since. On the 20th, she heads back home a few hours away for Thanksgiving break, so before she leaves I'm going to ask her whats up with us as were not officially together, yet I'm over there 5+ hrs nearly every day and we do a ton of BF/GF things. We've even had teacher and co-workers asking when/if were dating. The thing i have a slight problem with, but dont want to tell her how to live her life, is that she uses Tinder regularly. When we first met, i know she was on it every few hours as when i talked to her, she was usually on it. Since we have told each other how we feel, she only uses it about once or twice a day, but when she does, she hides her phone screen. We're matched on it too, so i can see when she uses it too, but it's pretty obvious when I'm there. How do I go about asking her to stop using it, without trying to boss her around, because I know she does use it to meet new friends, but she has also gone on a few dates with a few of them too. Or am i just over thinking all of this? Also, I've had a few GF's before, but I've honestly never had the feelings toward any of them like I do with this girl. Every time I see her using it, my heart just sinks so hard, but like I said, i don't to tell her what she can and can't do. |
Question: I'm really confused and dont know how to progress in my life? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 11:49 AM PST Im gonna be 21 and life is at a confusing point now. I hate the depressing roller coasters. Im tired of shedding tears every night. Tired of having no friends while still a kissless virgin. That outkast. That introvert. That loner. And i can't help it's just how i am. And i hate having days of feeling miserable. It's like hell on earth. Ive been that depressed loner my whole life, nothings changed, but in recent months i've had a lot of thoughts of suicide. Not wanting to be here anymore. The only thing im great at is music, i think im great at rapping, singing, and playing guitar. Im confident in that but still unconfident because i have no friends. And i have no family to listen and support my songs and what i do. It's just music is a cold business and hard to break into. Especially with no connections and being completely on your own. Then it leads meet to completey slipping into deep torment inside of my brain. Because thats the big talent i believe i have but it sems impossible to be successful at it. I have nothing. Life sucks. |
Question: I made out with a guy and he said not to tell anyone. Everyone knows now? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 11:30 AM PST He told me to keep it low key... But I had to tell someone and so I told my best friend. Now everyone knows and keeps asking about it and I asked him if he told anyone and he said no you did. Did my friend tell everyone you think? And should I feel bad that I told people? Should I be embarrassed about him thinking I told everyone |
Question: Question on how to handle a friendship? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 11:16 AM PST I am a single 41 year old female, and I became friends with this girl at work about six months ago. She is married and will be having a baby in a couple of months. I told her about a few weeks ago that I plan on transferring to another job location(which is 1 hour and 15 minutes away). She then told me that she told her husband she don't know what she would do without me. So, she then told me that it was her husband's idea to buy a home where I am moving, and she work at the same place I am working. But, they only have one car, and he would be driving farther away to get to his job, plus take her to work. Does anyone think this is bizarre that anyone would go through that much trouble to be that close to someone, because she claims to have the perfect husband? |

Question: How to make friends after moving to a new city while homeschooled? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 10:50 AM PST I just moved from a small town (population of 900) to a huge town (population of 256,000) and I don't have any friends. I'm currently a senior and attend a big church in our area, but after attending youth a couple times, it seems as if everyone already has their friends. I don't know what to do. I feel so lonely here. The only good thing is that I'll be off to college next year so maybe it'll be easier there since I'll be living on campus. I've also never been an outgoing person so it's difficult for me to put myself out there. |

Question: Do you think people are entitled to their own opinion? Why or why not? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 10:28 AM PST Here is a situation. Couple months ago, i left a comment on a page on facebook saying that dogs shouldnt eat too much strawberries at once. And then people started attacking me like i was a murderer calling me a ***** and saying that i should die. I thought that, that was a little extreme. So i thought possibly i worded my statement incorrectly. I then wrote that dogs should strawberries in moderation but dont give them too much. People then attacked me even more. Myself being a bully victim, i didnt want to let people treat me like that so i of course fought back but i did not say anything mean or hurtful. Al i said was i think i am entitled to have my own opinion. Its not nevessary to call me names like that and im sorry you feel that way. These people then proceeded to call me "*****... Go ****** die, why dont u just delete ur comment before u get all depressed(with a lol face), anf the last thing they said was it sickens them that people think they have a right to their own opinion. People like me dont have a right to my own opinion and that people like me should not be on this earth." That was the most hurtful. That day, it brought back a lot of horrible memories from tbe bullying, and caused a depressiv/anxiety episode to take place. Im puzzled. I dont understand why people would say these things to me. |

Question: Is being too gentle or too shy make me seem younger than my age? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 10:07 AM PST Im 16 and im a girl so you see were im going with this... :P I always love to be kind but I hate it when I seem "overly kind." People just assume that i know nothing and that i cant hurt a fly. When i make a dirty and witty comment, they'll be like,"Oh, you seemed so innocent." I get it that i look younger than 16 and that i look younger than my sister. Im very sensitive but im working on not being insecure. When someone teases me and i dont answer or dont say anything, they believe that im too kind or fragile. I feel so victimised. Sometimes i dont know what to say and other times i feel unmotivated to answer because i dont feel the need to defend myself. Today, i was standing with my bestfriend and my sister. My sister is 15 and we both act like bestfriends. I usually respect her infront of her friends like i'd still tease her but i wouldnt embarrass her, you get it? My bestfriend's boyfriend came and my sister was saying something stupid and then i joked and she said," i wasnt talking to you i was talking to them." We both laughed and i didnt feel like i had to answer we both do that but like he doesnt know how we both act together and he aaid to me,"what if she was older than you, what would she do to you?" He laughed and i laughed. I told my bestfriend and she said he wa joking. I know he was but it really got to me. I dont want people to think that im the weak softie old sister, you know? Im way sensitive than her and i love how she doesnt let any comments get to her. |
Question: How should i help my homeless friend? I feel if i help him it will hurt me? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 10:06 AM PST So i have a friend that just moved away about a month ago. Long story short, he got in a moped accident (wasn't his fault btw, wasn't even driving), lost his because job because of it, and now is homeless. Im planning on moving out into the middle of nowhere for the sake of solitude. I was planning on visiting him, as where he lives would be on the way. Now i feel like i should invite him with me, as he has nowhere else to go. The problem is, is that puts a hault to my entire plan. And on top of that, i love the guy, he's a lot of fun, but he's very negative. Everything fails in his mind, and it's very toxic to be around at times. If i invite him with me, i don't do what i set out to do. If i don't, he's homeless and has no one. Is it selfish to not invite him, if he asks to come, is it selfish to refuse? Do i have an obligation as a friend to help him out? |
Question: Girl from my hometown is copying my life to the extreme? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 10:04 AM PST So I am from a small town. I moved away to a big city to go to college and a girl a few years younger than me messaged me saying she wanted to move to the city as well and go to the same school as me. When she got to the city, she changed her major to what I was studying and began to take similar interests as me. A year later, I move to another big city. She messaged me on Facebook telling me how much she loves it in the city she is in, but I see today she is posting that she wants to move to the city I am currently in. Anyway to deal with this situation? Should I block her on all social media? Confront her about it? This is getting out of hand. The fact that she is thinking about moving to the same city as me AGAIN is kind of strange, especially since she was just saying how happy she is where she is. Any advice? I have moved on :) Thank you all |

Question: Do long fingernails tickle more than just regular fingers? Posted: 16 Nov 2015 09:27 AM PST I have a friend that has really long nails. Ever since she found out I'm very ticklish she has told me that she basically has a superpower against me. She claims that her nails give her super tickling power and if she were to tickle me it would be the worst tickling I've ever felt! I've never been tickled by someone with long nails, so I'm wondering if it is true, Does she really have super tickling powers or is she just trying to scare me for the fun of it? Any info would be helpful |
