I think a lot of young people now days want pets n not kids. Not sure why they prefer the lifestyle and that's the life I want, I don't have to worry about kids that kick n scream, too much responsibility than pets I think. I have experience caring for cats n one my fave animals. I stress a lot, my patient n temper very short so I know I am not fit to be a parent, nor would I want to be. I have a cat, she's my pride n joy. Someday I'm thinking about getting another cat, possibly a Bengal (if it fits into my budget, Bengals cost more than other domesticated cats). I don't have a boyfriend. I don't plan to marry/kids, even in yrs from now. I am mid-late twenties in college, very passionate about my career. Problem : mom doesn't like the fact that I don't want kids, I don't think she'll ever be supportive or respect my choice b/c she wants grandkids. She pushed the question 3 times before, I get tired of it.We don't talk everyday because we don't agree on everything. She's selfish and wants to run the show and wants things her way. Do you think she will continue to pop the question and try to convince me that's what i should do? I just prefer to be alone. I mean other people are deciding to go 'child free', I'm sure other parents are supportive their kids' choice. My dad is very supportive n cares about me everyday. Thoughts?

There's no easy way to explain this. I met my birth mother 13 years ago, so we've been close since then. Meanwhile, my mother is elderly. She's got these M-Spikes in her blood and symptomatic; it means bone cancer. My bmom has breast cancer with bone cancer. So both of them. NOW, we've found out my husband is terminal. MEANWHILE, our 18 y.o. daughter wants to move in with her bf. She's known (b4 bf) we planned to move back across the country to be near family. She doesn't want to go. She's resentful, feeling that she HAS to go. My heart is breaking! I KNOW that my 18 year old is the only one who does NOT want to leave me, but still .. .everybody I love so much is leaving me!!!!!! It might not be today, but both my moms live across the country - which is where we want to go back, but not until my daughter finishes high school. It gets more complicated, but basically she HAS to stay in school, even though she fights at all costs to not be there or do her homework. My hands are tied, and I WILL be alone when this is over. I don't have any close friends, because my daughter has had serious mental health issues. But she IS 18 now, so if she wants out, she's out. What NO ONE knows is I SHOULD be dealing with my own health, too. I got HPV as a teen. At 50, the risks of cervical cancer are going up. But with so much going on, I don't want to go to the GYN. I don't know how to maintain a loving, "happy" home, when all around me is falling apart. ANY advice would be appreciated. I should mention that I've had to have several surgeries throughout the years since I first got HPV. So this is why I'm aware of the risks. What is upsetting me so much is that I feel everyone around me leaving. I know it isn't on purpose; it's part of life. But how do I COPE with this part of life? Am I wrong to think 50 is too young to be going through this much loss? Or does everyone go through this? I can't afford counseling. How do I cope, so I don't look "crazy" all the time?

Last night i was over my friends house and i new something was wrong with her baby because when i was holding him and i touched his right leg he would cry and he looked very uncomfortable i told my friend that something was wrong and she started crying saying her boyfriend the babys dad was being rough with him 2 days before and set him on the stove in his carseat and he fell off i told her she needa to call the police or the baby can die and she told me she couldn't because she would go to jail with him so i said okay i do wanna add the baby is 3 months and her boyfriend which is the childs father isn't aloud to be around children he's a registered sex offender and just got outta jail for beating my friend a few months ago so he is crazy and always on drugs and when i went home he texted me and threated to have me beat up and my parents house shot up by his "homies" he latered texted me saying my friend did it that she's the one that beat her son and if i call the cops then call them on her he gave me a different story saying she always hits the baby and he always gets hurt i just don't know what to do i am scared that he'll try to hurt my parents but i wanna help this baby and i don't want my friend to be mad at me if she goes to jail and im not sure which one of them are lying Me and her are both 18 her boyfriend is 22 and the baby is 3 months

My sister is very skiddish of her boyfriend. He has anger issues. When he gets mad at her she doesn t defend herself at all. She follows him everywhere and is always worried when they re apart for just an hour. She is a strong young women but when he s around, she s weak. She defends him for everything. He makes her side with him against our mother, whom hes disrespected on many occasions. He has a very rude, violent, and macho attitude.

I find this very weird, but I came from vacation I (27 y/o) was out of the country for like two months, so I came back and I went out with my boyfriend (36y/o) yesterday and before we were getting read for him to bring me back home , he told he did not want me to say ''hello'' to his front house neighbor which happens to be a girl and her family, and in fact I happen to know her from the gym that I used to go, anyway I asked him why? And he said because he had parked the car close to her house the other days and they were looking at him in a weird attitude manner since he is a foreigner he has these ''ideas'', and when we were walking out of his house he told me to walk towards the front of the car and not behind the car (which was closer to her since she was outside chatting with some other girl) I wonder if he has cheated with her because I find it so weird that he did not want me to say ''hello'' to her, he was like '' I don't want you to say ''hello'' to those people'' The real reason I don't know,,,, I mean they are poor and we live in the Caribbean, but I still find it Awkward and weird, what do you think? I would love to see her one day and ask her stuff, but I don't have her mobile, neither her Facebook, but I would love to.

I know for sure I don't want kids, even though I'm 25 years old. People say I will change my mind, I sure won't. But I often wonder who will take care of me when I am not longer able to? I think having kids so that they can take care of you someday is a selfish reason to have them. Who will I have to rely on?

Sometimes I just stare at my SON and I have these thoughts of what would happen if I treat her mom like SHI T. An ex is in the picture and made a confession that she's still in love with my wife. They never had closure and my wife and I are having problems. She has these thoughts of leaving me. I'm scared.

Her room is always messy, especially her desk , papers on papers on papers, cups of water and juice lined up, her glasses always tossed with the papers. She says its part of her process and that a clean desk isnt possible because it gets messy when she does her work. Cant she clean it up when shes done? She says why waste time on something that doest harm or bother her. When I was her age my room was perfectly sweeped and organized into different sections and I did well. Why cant she do the same, it could help her right? Whenever I see her room it makes me so mad that she lives like a pig, clothes on the ground, papers everywhere, cups and snack wrappers.

My dad pays $150 a month in child support. I'm not really sure how he got away with that because there is no way that his income is that low that the court would rule such a tiny amount of child support, but somehow he got around the system. I don't ask him for money often, but a couple of nights ago I asked for gas money because I'm short. So basically I just needed $25. He started complaining that it's something my mom needs to buy for me. Please keep in mind that my mom doesn't make a ton of money and things are tight for us. Of course I got very upset with this because he really doesn't support me much and all I wanted was gas money. I brought up the child support, and he started talking about how he pays me way more for child support than what he's supposed to. $150? Really? I don't know much about child support and I don't know how much other dads pay but I feel like 150 is very very low. Anyway, he started talking about how when I turn 18 (in a month) he won't have to pay this child support anymore and after that point he'll just give me money here and there for things that he decides I need. I know him well enough to know that any money I ask for, he's going to say that I don't need or say that my mom needs to buy it (hence asking for gas money). Then said he's going to just start saving money for my college, but only give me that money for things I "need". Is he doing his job as a father? Do other fathers of divorced families act like this? I need opinions. I actually do have my own job and make my own money, and I buy almost everything myself. But I'm only 17 and a full time student so things get tight for me sometimes. And no he does not have a new family, he lives alone, and saying my dad "has his own life" is ridiculous, obviously he has his own life but I'm still his child.

To start, the guy who took my senior pics recently came over to drop my thumbdrive off. I learned that we both got hired at a new, local restaurant. We started texting more, just getting to know each other since work starts soon. Of course I'm an idiot, and told him if I found time I would. I told him that I liked him since he asked (as a friend) and he said he was glad he got me to admit it after months. I told him I was going to bed and he continued to text me. I'm very uncomfortable and couldn't sleep last night. I had no idea this was going to happen and don't want to tell my parents since our relationship is still rocky from a guy I now have a RO from. Should I confront him and risk hurting his feelings for an awkward workspace in return? I don't want to hurt his feelings but I want him to respect me and my boundaries, so I'm not sure where to go from here (especially since work starts next week).

I'm almost 20 years old and I have been single all my life. I always seem to go after the wrong guys and we never get past the "talking" stage. I've dealt with cheaters, guys who randomly disappear, and guys who just try to get in my pants. I'm one of the most loyal people I know, I was raised to have morals, and I refuse to settle for less. I'm a very sarcastic/funny person, I'm always there when someone needs me, and most times it seems as though I care a lot more than I should about people. Also unlike most, I'm not clingy at all, I give people space, and I don't turn psycho when a guy does something I don't like. Recently, everything was going fine with this guy. We would talk almost all day long, in between our classes and what not. He started most of the conversations, but I also initiated. He asked how I wasn't taken yet, would say things like "come cuddle", was amazed that I was a fan of all the same sports/teams as him, and it's clear we both think eachother are attractive. All of a sudden.. as always, the communication started dying down this past week. Now I'm lucky if we get like 2-3 snapchats sent. (We have most of our convos through there because we can see eachother). He has a past with "crazy" girls so I don't know if he's scared that I'm going to be the same or what. It's just very frustrating because I'm interested in him and don't want to see a decent guy just walk away. But also don't want to chase if he's not interested.

I know a woman who is about 170 pounds, about a size 10. It's a BMI of about 30/31. It's not morbidly obese but plump. Some older men used to call it pleasantly or pleasingly plump. I love him with all my heart but I don t feel like my future is necessarily secure with him. He is a very handsome man and he is everything I ever wanted.. As far as looks go. We have a set of twins on the way and he has been the one person who tells me don t marry someone just because you have kids with them, (he is still married from 4years ago[he got her pregnant and thought it was the right thing to do] I don t like the fact that he is still married, it pisses me off) but I want things to work out I want him to be able to be the man I need to lead me and these two girls, but I just don t see it happening. Everyone carries a 'take nothing off of nobody' attitude. They have the tendency of starting stuff, They like to twist words and be condescending to start a fight, They are all physically violent, they roll on the floor with each other in public places They don't have respect for old people, Teenage pregnancies run rampant, Nobody is married, but shacking up, the only thing women are concerned with is if you have a job, and they tell me they kick out their boyfriend for losing his job. And they get another boyfriend who has a job. They have babies but stay single to receive government checks, foodstamps and welfare runs rampant. Their children are all out of control when you go to public places, The public places has signs up galore saying 'we are workers not babysitters' 'please flush the toilet' and other petty signs like that, This describes where I live, If you live where I live how would you survive?

I ended up falling my manager & thought he felt the same way or at least in the beginning cause he always talking to me and telling me random things about himself anyway. Anyway, one time I had to text him to see if he could find someone to cover my shift & he told me he'd get back to me so all I said was thanks, The next day I texted him again asking if he's had time to look at the schedule & he told me he found someone to fill in for me so I said thanks again but used an explaination point. when I came back to work I noticed he was trying to avoid me and it was real obvious something was up so I thought I'd break the barrier & ask him random things but I still knew he was avoiding me. Anyway, I decided to leave him a note about how I felt since it was last day, letting him know it was nice meeting him and that I wish I knew him better & hope he texts me sometimes. A few days later I had to call him about something & he randomly told me he was moving half way across the country I don't know why but I decide to ask like a day or two later & he never got back to me. Anyway it was killing me he didn't respond to my note so I decided to just be straightforward & ask him if we could talk more, get to know each other he told me he wasn't interested in a long distance relationship, that they were tedious & a lot of work & I tried to change his mind about it & he got mad, lashed out, & told me to respect his boundaries & not to text him again, but I did anyway & apologized for it

I am in pain grieving my ex. I work with him and he makes me mad because he does stuff on my back. So basically stuff has been happening at my lunch table so I went and asked my English teacher if I could sit in there during lunch, and she said yes, but almost everyday I have been giving her stuff like cookies, pretzels, and like candy bars, that my school sells during lunch, (all I do is go to my schools snack shack during lunch and buy it and sit in there until the bell rings) but every time after the first couple of days she says,Kinda jokingly, stop giving me stuff (also with a smile). But, recently during class (9th period, the very last class of the day) that she didn't have speakers because she was playing a video. So, the next day I brought her speakers and she was freaking out, like saying "You didn't have to give me this" or, "You're so nice", but idk why I feel like I'm supposed to give her stuff. Recently, I have been feeling the need to look her up, like a lot, and I found out she had a gofundme page that I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to help out with, but it costs $2,500. But, I told my mum about it and she said she might give me money to give to her for it, but idk if she will. I have been dating my boyfriend for a few months. He is 27 I am 25. I was recently contacted by someone claiming to be his wife. She informed me that they were married and had kids together. She showed me facebook accounts, pictures of them together and even a marriage record and birth certificate pictures of the kids. Of course, being angry and hurt, I confronted my boyfriend. I asked him about the girl and he told me that he was married to her and thought they had kids, but he got the marriage abolished after finding out the kids were not his biologically and after he tried to leave and she got him thrown in jail on a fake charge of domestic abuse charges. The charges were dropped after the judge saw she was lying. I decided to do a bit of research to see if all this was true. With public records I found that the charges were dropped, however records still state they are married. I talked to him again and he said that the record stays for six years,then it will show they are no longer together. I can't find any information anywhere to see if its true or not. I also found out she is living with him still, but in a separate room, because she has no where to go. She knows I exist and I am with my boyfriend and has agreed to leave me alone, according to my boyfriend. (We are still together until I'm sure of things) Is there anyway to tell if a person is still married legally by public records? Yes, I know he sounds like an ***.I know I'm stupid lol. But there are reasons.
