So my family has lived in the same house all of my life, and my mother is best friends with the neighbors. The neighbors are two sisters living with their daughters. One of the daughters is about 4 years older than me (my brothers age) and I've started to become attracted to her over the years. Now, I'm almost 19 and she's almost 23. We are both virgins, believe it or not. I kind of want to try to have sex, but I just don't think I could love her more than that, since our families are so close. Should I try and confront her about these feelings. It's hard to ask this of someone, but I am so damn attracted to her, and the tension between us is feeling all too real for me. Last time I was on my period and we were on vacation and staying at a hotel, my mom was going to take us swimming, but I told her I couldn't, because I was on my period. She said "Oh, just wear a thick pad, it should be fine." And I said "Mom, are you kidding me? I can't, I already told you. You don't want me wearing tampons, so the blood is going to leak out into the pool as I swim, and it will be pink around me. It's really unsanitary." She just huffed and rolled her eyes as she left with my sister to go swimming, and said to me "This is how you get obese." Like omg how could you say that to your daughter? And don't tell me to try out tampons, because my mom seriously will never let me.

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in March and we couldn't go to my graduation Disneyland trip because of it. She no longer has cancer but when she was going through treatment I did all the laundry and basically everything for my family and my sister didn't do anything. I told myself to wait until December because you love christmas and its something to look forward to. My dog ended up passing way a few weeks ago and today I got the news that we arent going to decorate for christmas because its too much work. Im super sad because ive been waiting for months for this and now nothing is going right.

I was with my ex for 10 months. His family loved me because they said he was finally happy and although he's 28 I was the first girl he said I love you to. So my neighbor was hanging washing in her yard and I just watched her through my binoculars (My blinds were partly closed and I was watching through them) I didnt think I could be seen cause it was day but my room was really dark. So here's the deal. I'm 23 years old and about a year ago, I moved in with my boyfriend(then 23) and his mother. His mother has some health problems that I won't specify to keep this confidential, but she has to go to her doctor fairly often to get treated and there's also medication that she has to take. For a while, she was very good about this. But a couple of weeks ago, we got a call saying that my boyfriend had been killed in a crash on his way home from work. He was the best boyfriend I could have asked for and he did not deserve to go at the age of 24. However, I know that the sadness I'm feeling is nothing compared to what his mother is feeling. Her pain is immeasurably greater than mine, but it's affecting her health. The other night, I noticed that she's stopped taking her medication and that she hasn't made a single doctor appointment. She could die if she continues to do this. When I brought this up to her, she said that she has no intention of preventing her disease from taking her life, and that she'll be ready to join her son at any time. I don't know what to do. My boyfriend and I had been making plans to move out, but now I'm afraid to move out because she's so unstable. She wants me to stay too, because she likes my company and says that I was the best thing that ever happened to her son. I love her so much. I told her that her son wouldn't want her to give up this easily, but it hasn't seemed to have made any impact on her.

My dog passed away in August and I've had her for 16 years she's a chihuahua mix she was my best friend.. I started dating this guy about 8 months ago and everytime he would come over my dog would be petrified of him and would hide and shake in the other room .. and everytime my boyfriend would be around her he would talk **** about her and say I can't wait for that dog to die or idk just bad **** .. so I usually kept them separated and for th e longest time I've had something in the back of my head that he was doing something to her behind my back .. one night I went to go check on her and my boyfriend was in thr bathroom and her collar was ripped off and she was Inn the corner shaking and when I confronted him about it he said she bit him so obviously he had to of put his hands on her to the point where her collar snapped off.. the morning she died my boyfriend slept over the night before and she was shaking and having trouble breathing so I thought maybe if we left her alone she would calm down and jus go to bed but I woke up the next morning and she was dead .. I'm completely heart broken because I should of known to not even let him near her or over the house if my dog got that scared with him being there.. Is this my fault? I can't stop blaming my self

I want to know why does abuse still happen because of the abuse that I've gone through. Right now I have a cognitive disability for the rest of my life because of it and there was no one around to stop me from being beaten physically. Even if I did not do anything wrong, I had suffered from physical abuse. I had to go through the abuse for more than a decade and I was beaten ever since that I was a little baby. I had to spend my life for more than 5 years with my abusive care takers (Baby sitters) and went through what I've never wanted to go through. Even though I misbehaved, I've received bruises. Especially I was just playing with my toys that my parents have bought for me, I was physically punished just for having fun and took all of my toys away from me and gave them to other kids. I was yelled at and told that I was too old to play with toys, but I was just around 5 or 6 years old, I was not even a teenager at that time. On one day, I was beaten on the top of my head so hard that I was knocked out and nearly unconscious. After that, when I got more bruises because I was attacked by two others boys while waiting for my parents, I requested my care taker for help to heal the wound, I was spanked in the face and knocked to the floor. During one single night, my care taker grabbed my head and smacked me into a heater, I started crying and my head was bleeding on the right side of my face. The abuse started just couple of months after I was born and I finally got out of it at age 11 when my dad finally pulled me out of the situation, and right now I am 22 years and I still remember. I will not forget and I will not forgive what they've done to me. I just want to let you know that I am a male. I had to go through this over countless times. I was also threatened to harmed even if I called the cops, so I was very afraid, abandoned and too scared to request for help. Now my future of becoming an airplane pilot is destroyed, I've always loved airplanes and I wanted to become a pilot, all because the learning disability that I have is because of the abuse I've gone through. My life is still ruined by physical abuse.

I recently moved home to continue my college education (undergraduate); and I am feeling a bit lonely and a bit envious to be honest (of the friends from my old school that I dorm'ed at). I commute everyday a pretty good distance and this is my first semester so I've only been a few months, but I have made basically no friends, all my home town friends are away at school, and I live at home with my parents. Only child. I see everyone on social media out and whatnot and it makes me sad to be lonely, and home just sitting with my dog and parents. I like to think I am nice, kind, funny, etc. but I am not having luck with friends or partners. I just want to be like other people, even those that have friends that stay home. Is it me, or? What can I do to help? Thanks. I should have probably noted i suffer from social anxiety so i dont get out much.

What do you do about people who always twist your words to try to get stuff started? Or a person whom you talk to and he starts constantly getting into an argument with you, unreasonable and talks to you in an abusive angry tone of voice and gets in your personal space like they are going to do something to you. Or a person who when you talk to for a while they're all cool with you and then suddenly, people magically starts to get angry at you and stops hanging with you and others gets defensive to you when you are around that person (with the intent to get something started) as that person likely is talking negative about you behind your back.
