We've both been really involved in various school activities (specifically in high school). When I had performances, plays, etc that I performed in, I would always ask my friend to come and support me and watch these performances and she flat out told me every time that she didn't want to go because it wasn't her "thing". Any time she would ask me to go to her events, I always went unless I had to work or something, no matter if it was my "thing" or not. We now are both in college and she goes to school 5-6 hours away. She's in a play and asked me to go. I'm hesitant to say yes because she never supported me and I felt kind of hurt. Even now in college, I had asked her to come to a few events and she said no. Should I feel bad that I don't really want to go? |

He would randomly call me ugly under pictures of myself on social media, play it off as a joke and then argue with me over it, make me feel bad and say that he did nothing wrong, make me apologise when I did nothing wrong, etc. He just made me feel bad about myself. He doesn t want to leave it be, though. during registration, he will shout my name and try to irritate me because "it s funny trying to get you annoyed. I guess I just enjoy being a dick." I am still friendly and polite, I say hello to him whenever I see him, etc. However, around a day ago he told me that he was broken, upset and alone without me, and he also said that he was upset that I was attacking him, even though I hadn t said much to him other than "congratulations on your award...." on an Instagram post. I said as much to him, and then he deleted what he sent to me. (he sent it through Instagram dms, and you can delete messages on that for whatever reason) And just a few hours ago, he sent me "****." And then blocked me. I messaged him on twitter saying "What do you want me to do? I ve been nice to you, I just want you to leave me alone". i blocked him on twitter after sending that. However, I know that he will try and annoy me the next time he sees me... how can I get him to stop? I just want to be happy and cut out toxic things in life that stop me from achieving this, but he just won t let me? |

This is our differences I used to go to a private-catholic school and she never went to one. We now go to a public school together. I wear jackets from Victoria Secret Pink, Hollister and NorthFace. And she has Gap or Old Navy jackets. I buy clothes from store name brand clothes and she gets handowns. I wear different shoes everyday like adidas, uggs, huraches, Nikes, vans and converse and she wear the same shoes every day and it's Nikes or Skechers. I get a new backpack every year and she used the same one she did last year. I live in a house w/ 7 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and she lives in an apartment with 1 or 2 bedrooms. My parents have a van w/ 8 seats and her parents have a car w/ 5 seater. She has a job and I don't. I have a bank account and she doesn't. We both have sibling I have 2 sisters and she has 1 sister and 2 brothers. I am the oldest and she is the youngest I got my 1st phone when I was 9 and she got her 1st one when she was 13. I had 7 phones, my 8th is an IPhone6s and she has 1 phone and her 2nd is a Samsung. I have many gadgets at my house and she only has a few. I have a flat screen tv and she has a cube tv. For Christmas she doesn't get money and I do. I have a hobby where my parents has to pay and she just stays home. My fam eat at a restaurant every week and they eat there every one every in a while |

That's a problem because I sound so serious when I am joking or being sarcastic, and it has been pissing people off or causing me to get into arguments. After school a couple days ago, she was walking across the street and a car was coming. She was on her phone so I ran out and pulled her to safety. I got a hug, and a thank you. Flashback to summer of 2016, it was the 4th of july and I was having a bondfire party in my backyard with a few of my close friends, Jill, a few of my close female friends, and my ex friend (when he was still my friend). We were lighting off firecrackers and roman candles and sh*t, and I was trying to show off so I lit a sh*t load of them at once. It was flying everywhere, and we were all trying to get to safety. I tackled Jill to protect from the sh*t that I saw coming her way, and I got burned a few times. It was well worth it, though. Unfortunately our families are very different, his family is very chill (let's him do whatever), and my family is a little more strict (Doesn't let me do some things). We were talking over text and he said he could pick me up so we could go to the store. I told him many times that my parents were gone and that they probably wouldn't let me go. He told me over and over that he "Hates" me and that I "suck." Finally after a while of that I decided to actually ask my parents. Trust me I wanted to go, but what he didn't know was that I actually just didn't have clean pants. So I texted my mom and told her to say no because I didn't want to go because of the no clean pants situation. My mom said that we could wash my pants and then I could go, but it would take over an hour. So I texted my friend saying that I could go but it would have to be when my parents got back home. In the end, I told him he should just go without me, but I NEVER told him about my pants situation which was the real reason why I didn't go. He responded saying that I "suck" once more and everything ended. Am I a bad friend for not going? |

Posted: 23 Oct 2016 01:50 PM PDT i go a private school with about 100 students with 20 in my senior class. all throughout high school i've not really had many friends. i have a boyfriend whom i've been dating for around 9 months and a friend that lives about an hour and 45 minutes away from me. aside from them, i don't really have other friends. in my school there are 4 other seniors that i hang out with in school, as in i sit with them at lunch and have casual conversations with them, but they really aren't all that friendly with me. i really don't have anyone else though. i do try to make friends but genuinely nobody likes me. the few "friends" that i do have use me as their verbal punching bag and point out all my flaws and say nasty things to me such as telling me to kill myself. they aren't always terrible to me with everything they say but i can expect to hear rude things said to me at least once a day and especially at lunch. and while it'd be nice to move tables at lunch there are only 4 and most all the seats are taken since i go to such a small school. my main problem is that i feel completely alone. i realize i'm in my last year and won't have to deal with it for much longer but i'm getting sick of things as they are. i'd say i get a break at home but i get the same thing from my mom daily. i also suffer from clinical depression and generalized anxiety disorder which i take medication for but still do have to deal with quite heavily. if you have any advice it'd be appreciated. if you'd like to discuss this with me in greater detail feel free to message me |

Right now, all I do is scroll through tumblr/watch anime/read manga/read or write fanfiction, and I'm not happy with this sort of living. I just want something to do with my life. I live in the middle of no where, surrounded by muddy fields and forests and roads I know like the back of my hand. I do have a horse who could entertain me but I can't ride her (she's too young) and she doesn't require much care or attention. I'm unable to call friends - they're all on holiday and when they're home, they're always doing something with their family. Of course I don't want to invade on that. And I have no access to transport. By bike is broken, it's too far to walk to anywhere civilized and my parents refuse to drive me anywhere no matter how much I ask. Any ideas on what I could do? I've had a few other relationships that were short lived and casual, the other person would never get "mad" at me or frustrated because I said I was too busy to hang out. so idk if this is normal I've only been in this relationship a month in a half but the guy seems to want to stay together a long time, be exclusive, and be really serious. He's already talking about plans for the holidays, our sixth month anniversary, etc. he often makes comments like "college is going to be hard" and things like that, indicating he wants to stay together a while. He also made it clear he "only dates to marry" So, anyway, with all that being said, I'm a busy person. I'm a senior in high school taking a lot of difficult classes, I have a part time job, I'm involved in dance and yes, I do like spending time with my friends/family on occasion. So I don't have time to hang out with my boyfriend every single day. We see each other at school everyday, we text 24/7, and I always hang out with him at least one day on the weekend. But it doesn't seem to be enough for him? He asks to hang out nearly everyday and gets passive aggressive when I say that I have other commitments I don't want to be that girl who doesn't see her friends with she's in a relationship or who can't keep up with their schoolwork because they're always hanging out with their boyfriend. How do I explain this to him? |

Exil is SUPER kind, he's helped me WAY more than any "Real Life friends would." I'm super close to him, so when I have a problem I'll just let it slip out of my mouth and he'll always be there to support me. He has a funny personality which always seems to cheer me up. Now, I met Exil on a game called "Elsword." We weren't intentionally to be friends, we just started chatting on Elsword, until he asked me for skype. Soon, we started chatting everyday on skype, playing fantasy games all day long, everyday after school. Soon after, Exil introduced me to his cousin, Kylie & her friend Joshua. We 4 became great friends. We all had things in common. Then one day, we were playing Dota 2.. Encountering our two best friends to this day. Mango & Solur. Everyday at school, I'd always be thinking about them. Since yahoo has a limit, I'll continue. I'd always want to get home from school thinking about them. I'd get home, do my homework and quickly get on the computer. However, one day, I was at a restaurant with my parents & little brother. My friend Mango was texting me, asking what time I'll be on to play 100% orange juice. Of course, my noisy mom looking over, asks "Who is this Mango." I have like 4-5 friends in class and I'm not rude to anyone, nor I remember doing anything wrong. Most of my class is nice to me and it doesn't seem that they dislike me. I don't mind if that girls friends don't like me(6ppl) but I'm worried that it's majority of my class since she said that. Would people who don't like me really act like we're good |

I like it when I can be my own individual person & have my own individual friends. Thank god I have 1 very close friend that isnt close with my sister & I can call her one of my best friends. Sadly. my sister is desperate to go to a halloween party & pretty much invited herself to this party w/ my best friend & some of her friends. I like going and enjoying my time with my friend and others. I feel like people always compare my and my sister. Also, my friend told me that the guys that are usually at the parties seem to have an interest in me. I'm not into them but it feels really good to have that attention. I'm scared that when I go, they will all forget about me & flock over to her. & I hate it when guys will like one twin and then they switch to the other twin.& besides she doesnt even like to drink or party much( she is kind of like a mom) but she is upbeat & I feel like they'll like her just because her **** will be for show in the costume. I really want to enjoy my night but I am scared what it will turn out to be. Im scared that i will get drunk & upset & start to cry or something haha. How can I deal with this? I want to try to tell myself to think confidently about myself & forget about her but I don't know if that will happen.& part of me wants to think maybe I could just go kinda crazy in a fun way & try to steal all the attention.I don't know what to do.Please help! |

So We're all in 8th grade and Sam was doing athletic this year while me and steph is in PE so me and Sam doesn't hang out that often except only in history together . Sam had been acting really bitchy towards my friends and her friend and she even act like she's better than all of us. There was one time in a group chat when Sam told us she was drinking and steph told Sam it's bad for her especially if she's 13 and she's still developing and it's underage drinking. Sam told her to **** off and that she's being over traumatic. That week after that steph texted the group chat and ask what we wanted for Christmas so she can make a list and out of no where Sam texted back that steph is being bossy and that we have to follow her sh@tty rules. Steph then stop texting bc Sam kept texting mean comment back and I knew Sam was drunk at that time bc she snapped chatted me a video of her drinking alcohol. Steph told me that she just wanted to ask her friends what they wanted for Christmas and out of nowhere Sam started acting bitchy to her for no apparent reason. She aslo tried to stop Sam from drinking but every time she try to stop Sam, sam start to call her names and everything and she even said it's just a joke. How can I make Sam stop bullying my best friend? |

They don't strive for anything & they're lazy. One of my friends likes the 70's era so she does drugs, smokes pot, listens to music from that time & bought a car in that era because of that. She also told me that she would definitely pick up hitchhikers cause it's "cool", she is NOT street smart. It's okay if one likes an era but she makes it her own life. Every time we bring out food EVERYDAY she always begs to have some even though she's says too lazy to bring any food to school. Another one friend wants to wait til 18 to get her license and she aims for community college and doesn't strive. To each his own, but do you get the pattern of laziness? I don't say anything openly, but when I talk in our group chat they barely reply to me and then when someone else talks they talk more. I went to visit a college and told them I really liked the area and I showed them pictures and they barely said anything. I shared how the place had a lot of resources & I visited a lot of tourist attractions & they ignore what I say out of jealousy. They go on trips together but I m not allowed to because my parents won t let me go with a friend with a license under a year & they know that. I always hang out with them anyway but I feel like they have that extra connection. The reason for that is because I never have anything to talk about. It always gets awkward when I talk to people. Nobody wants someone boring to talk to. Prior to these three faintings it s never happened to me before. I have quite the strong stomach, too. I ve seen a child birth, nothing, I ve seen the mummification process on a real human body, nothing, I ve seen the burning of a body, nothing, short discussion on the testicles? I m on the floor in seconds. I asked my teacher and she said that I could sit out during class and do some type of independent study work, and I m going to. I m just a little worried that my peers are gonna start making fun of me and start calling me a wuss for not being able to handle it. Normally I have to issue with what other people think of me, but for some reason now it does. Help/ideas? |

Posted: 23 Oct 2016 09:25 AM PDT ive been friends with him for like a year and a half now, but lately hes been getting more and more obsessive with messaging me. its almost like the second i wake up to the second i go to sleep he always has to be talking to me. i like him and all, and i dont wanna end the friendship, but im getting a bit irritated by the constant contact. i swear he will send me a kik message, and then i wont reply for like 2 minutes and he will start sending me instagram messages or snapchats or facebook messages or sends me stuff on twitter and then we would have like 5 ongoing conversations on a bunch of different social media platforms and all this could happen within like 10 minutes of the first message. even if i leave him on read within 2 minutes of me not replying he would send another message. he even started working where i work and carpools with me. its not like he doesnt have other friends, he has a bunch but im getting sick of my phone going off every 5 minutes especially when i just dont wanna talk to anyone or im trying to get **** done. its great and all that he wants to talk but this is way overboard. what do i do? |

She never replies and doesn't even talk to me so I gave up talking to her I mean there's no point every time I do I never get a text back. She uses me everyday because she doesn't want to be alone.
