Today at my boyfriend's house, he and his mother got into an argument. My boyfriend has anger issues in which he's currently in therapy for. He came back from the hospital today because of high blood sugar and his mom kept asking him questions about the medication he has. She kept questioning him over and over again and HE got fed up with it and he said to me "You know what, lets go.. she gets on my f**king nerves.." Basically he got mad because his mom thought his medication was for something other than what it was meant for. Yes, very stupid and simple. I was on his mother's side and i told him that what he said to her was very inappropriate and that he needed to apologize. He became mad at me because i was "taking HER side" but i said i'm only doing what i see is right. Was i wrong to interfere? Does he have a point to be mad at me?!

It's really hot in my house right now and their solution is to open the windows and turn on the fans. All the windows are open and all the fans are on but its warmer now because it's 85 degrees out. But because they don't feel warm I am left to sweat.

I ve been going through a rough time lately. I have bad anxiety and it causes frequent problems. My mother knows this. I ve tried to convey how I feel to her. First time it was sympathy and understanding, but now she just tells me I m crazy and gives me all the points of why I am. It ruins my self-esteem. I think I m doing better and then I m put down again. She complains and says how hard her life is and talks about how she used to live before she had me daily. I know there s something wrong with me, but I don t want to be constantly reminded of it. She just makes it worse. I m trying my best and my best isn t enough. Don't get me wrong I love my family and I am not asking to cut them off out of my life but I am 23 and they still treat me like I am 6, I get that I am the youngest but I am an adult and when ever I do something they don't approve they always add their opinion on what I should do or not. I don't do anything bad like have sex before marriage or go to bars and my other cousins do and if I want to go they always say oh I am too young to be doing that and my other cousins go al the time and no one criticizes their decisions and when my cousins have already had sex before marriage and one of them is a pastors kid and has kids before marriage.

Like has it ever annoyed you when your parents drive your car and everyone just automatically assumed that it s theirs. My mom (mostly) and dad drive my car but they bought it for me for my birthday when I only had a permit. And so I will be getting my license but for right now I can only drive with them in the car or have them drive me. Ever since it s been in their hands, it s had all sorts of problems. I feel like I don t want this car anymore. I feel frustrated. Am I wrong to feel this way. I barely get to do anything with this car, I don t even have possession of the keys. I barely play my music as well and then they get mad if I say something or sort of imply that I don t want them to use it.

I have rubbed his before. He has flat feet and they get very sore. After we get home from college, he sometimes complains about his feet. I have him lie on the couch with his feet on me. So I was living with my parents and then news came that my step-mom's half sister was coming from Hong Kong to live with us because her parents couldn't afford her anymore and because she got bullied a lot there. I considered her my "step-cousin" because we were so close in age. At first I didn't like her at all and found her annoying, but the more we hung out (which was easy cause we lived together) the more we liked each other. Both of us got kicked out, she lives with her aunt and uncle and I live with another uncle because my step-mom and I got in a fight about it. I feel like they overreacted, but at the same time I can see their point of view. I just want some opinions about this.

I've been trough deppresion before and.. Im still in it but not as much. I got myself alone, through because I couldn't let someone help me and I finnaly helped myself. My mom and my REAL dad are divorced. To be honest I kinda liked it that way because I got all the attention I wanted. Well when I am with my mom she USED to give alot of attention. Okay, this requires a bit of context. I have an older sister who is over a decade older than I am, and she has a young daughter of 6 years. She is currently living with me and my mother who is in her early 50s. She has displayed numerous traits associated with NPD which she may have inherited from our estranged father and I don t believe she is treating my niece in a fair or reasonable manner. My mother is a loving and responsible parent and she spends more quality time with my niece than her mother does. My sister is unreasonable and refuses to listen to any criticism of her parenting. As a minor, what am I to do?

I'm 29 and I still live at home with my parents I do work and I go to college. Because I still live with them does that mean I have to listen to them when they tell me I can't go where I want to go? Do I have to tell them everywhere I go? I even offered to pay rent

They want my 4 month old to ride on a tractor for their fall festival. They also want him to ride on their atv. Their house has 4 dogs one of which is new and bites everyone! They want us staying at the house. My father in law is driving the tractor and atv, and he is an excessive drinker (in and out of rehab several times) I planned on staying at nearby relatives home and declining that he ride on the tractor and atv. I don't want to be rude because so much is planned for one weekend. What do you suggest?

I broke down yesterday and called my ex. We have been broken up for a month now. We talked very casually. I noticed that when I tried to end the conversation he kept talking to keep it going but right before I ended the call he said, "I miss you too." Even though i hadn't said that I missed him. I told him I missed him after that and then told him to enjoy his day and to not be a stranger. If you claims to miss me why didn't he ask to see me? Is him saying that he misses me an indication that we may get back together?

How can I get passed this? I look at my cousins' families and they are all whole and my family is broken. My mother is still so mad at my Dad she gets in the way of any time my siblings and I try to spend with him though it is easier now that we're adults (she used to alienate us from them as kids). I feel people think I must be partly to blame because my mother brags she left my Dad to protect us kids from his drinking (maybe some truth to that but that makes it my siblings and I's fault). I am in my 30's so long out of my mother's house and an adult. My parents divorced long ago (1990) when I was 6 years old.

I'm planning to go to LA after I visit my family in Atlanta. I don't want my parents knowing that I'm going to LA. Yes I know I need to move out of my parents house and I'm working on it. I'm a male who is 18, reserved when it comes to girls. I'm nervous around them all the time. Growing up I've been teased at by relatives and people in school. My father loves me no doubt. He pretty much leaves all the decisions to me and does not interfere. I have got no siblings to talk to. My mother also does not talk to me even when I try. My aunt does talk to me and she listens to me rant but I want my parents to listen to me. My father used to talk to me but now he never wants to. Even when I do try then he just pretends to listen and any time he can interject and get me annoyed so I wont talk to him anymore. Maybe I am being paranoid and maybe I do indeed seem selfish spoiled brat but it hurts to know my father has no interest in listening to me about my day when I listen to him no matter when he is telling me. I listen to him and remain interested. He only talks to me when he wants to. Not when I want to. Not to mention if I sit him then he finds an excuse to send me to my room. I just want to inform him aboout all the going ons in the school but he doesn t listen unless it is about a form or something. I need an unbiased and outside opinion on this. Please answer quickly.

So basicallly I want to make my parents suffer. I hate them and have no feelings towards them and my anger grows as they expect me to respect them just because they gave birth to me. I am only 15 so I can t really get a job or move out. There is also one thing I hate more than anything, people expecting me to be willing to make up with them. Its hard talking to girls at college. I try to talk to them to at least be friends yet I feel like I get treated like something easily disposable. I feel that just because of my physical height (5'4) that girls don't treat me as special as they would other guys and its been making me believe that some things like sexual assault is justified in some cases, or at least i'm not the one thats doing it but I have a lot less sympathy for people who are rape victims (excluding jail)....no wonder why sexual assault still exists in this world.... I have really bad parents, and out of the blue, she texted me and asked why I was still with them. I tried to tell her that I had nowhere else to go, to which she cut me off and said that I do. I the proceeded to try to explain to her that I'm not like her or my other sisters — I don't have another parent's house to move to, or a relative that would be willing to take me in. She then started claiming that she'd offered many times for me to stay with her at our grandma's, which she has never done. This sister has always been the favorite, everyone wants to be around her, and she always gets what she wants. I tried to explain how it was the exact opposite with me, and she started outright yelling at me over things that didn't make sense. I can't do anything about me living with my parents, as I'm underage and none of my relatives can bear being around me, nor can I move in with a friend, because they all live states away. She keeps telling me that she's always been there for me, and that my grandma would be willing to take me in, both lies. Neither her or my grandma can stand my company. She then told me that she wasn't "having any of this bullsh*t" and that she is "cutting me out". Afterwards she called me by my birth name and started referring to me as the sex I was born with, and that obviously stung a lot. She hasn't talked to me in weeks, and I just don't know what to do.

A few months ago for our bday, our mom and her husband took my sister and I to Cali. Then when we got to the hotel again, my mom literally said (word for word) "Didn't you feel how scary that was??" So (don't start an arguement, Im only saying this bc its part of the problem) I like to thank police sometimes for what they do, so I went to thank one cop I saw and my mom yelled at me and said how "ridiculous" I'm being because I left her side..... So first she says she can't tell me where we're going because I'll look up everything that can go wrong, then we get there and she says I'm too trusting of people and I'm going to be used.. So I just don't want to go with her and have to put up with all that drama again (we literally never travel anywhere so that trip was rare), if we go to Dallas for the State Fair, and she says she still can't trust me to go by myself to the restroom.... (I'm very independent too, so that's why this is so annoying.) I still want to go to the fair, but in Cali I was ready to walk out the hotel and just walk myself home (TX) because I was tired of her acting like she knows me better than I do.... And she left my sister alone the whole trip bc my sister is just terrified of everyone like my mom is, but I'm more independent so apparently "my mom has to watch me closely"... I live with my mother and little sister. I do work and go to school. Me and my mother agreed to split the bills, rent, lights & water. There have been times when (my other sisters stayed there) I had to pay the whole bill because they didn't have it & barely got paid back. When it's time to pay the bills she constantly reminds me to pay it on time & I do. She didn't pay her part of the light bill because she helped out someone else & now they are about to cut it off because of non payment. The bill is $300. Is it right that I have to pay a large bill by myself? This months bill is only $100 & the rest is from the last bill which my sister didnt help pay when she moved out. I know my sister should help but she is going to say she don't have the money because she have her own bills & kids. I feel like my family think I have money because I work, don't have kids & that I paid off my car by myself. They don't think I have bills of my own. I'm kinda pissed because I make sure I pay rents light & water before I pay my personal bills & that she didn't think the light bill was important.

My mom and my REAL dad are divorced. For all you guys and girls with divorced parents you know how it is to have to switch from your moms house to your dads house every other week. Well I liked doing that because when I got mad at my mom I could go with my dad, visa versa. Well when I am with my mom I loved all the attention I got and all the time I got to spend with her. Now that this stupid bi*ch (aka stepdad) came into the picture the only time I get to spend with my mom is 2 or 3 hours a day. The other times he is at my moms house taking my time away and when shes not around him she talks on the phone with him for hours. I am sick of him, it's gotten to the point where now he thinks he can tell me what to do, if he thinks hes gonna tell me what to do, he has another thing coming. All I have to do is use the your not my dad excuse. Anyways s he's working my last nerve, so is there any way I can get rid of him, If that doesn't work the next step Is me moving in with my REAL dad permanently like my sister did. PS I am a 12 year old girl. I wish there was a way I could show my mom how It makes me feel when she barely shows me any attention. I can't talk to her, I tried that before and she just defends him and herself. I am so f*cking done, I AM AT MY END. If I can't move in with my real dad or get rid of my stepdad, who knows what the final straw is gonna be. If you never had a stepdad or stepmom, don't answer because you cannot begin to feel or know what I am going through!!

About a month ago, my son's boyfriend took his own life. They were both 16. Ever since that day, he would lock himself in his room, he doesn't eat unless I bring the food to him. He doesn't talk about him or anything at all for that matter. I knew his boyfriend was in a bad condition, being abused by his single father and having problems financially, but we really did try to help him, having him stay in our house a couple times a week. It was heartbreaking when my son called me. I try to talk to him everyday, but he would just plug in his earphones and shut his door. He really did love him, and I don't know what to do. He refuses to talk to a professional or his school's counselor. I'm worried about him, he can't keep grieving over the boy. It hurts me too, his boyfriend was an amazing, kind hearted kid, but he has to move on somehow.

I looked at a pic of my grandmother in a bikini at the beach. I got a hard *****. My mother saw it and tells me this is not normal. I told my sister and she saids I have a old person fetish. What is a fetish? I mean it was a old photo. MY grandmother was young. Like 7 years old

Sense I was a little girl he has always taken the bag of cereal out of the box, laid it on the table an then started like mashing it, pushing down on it with both fists. He rolls his fists up an down the bag and just squashes the cereal. Then he poors it in a bowl an eats it. When I ask him he says "just mind your own business, Terri."

I live with my parents and I pay rent and help with household expenses but my mom is always asking me for more money. Plus and she's always behind in one bill or the other and wants me to cover it. Also I'm stuck babysitting my sister's kid 24/7 even though lives at home just like I do and and has never worked a day in her life. I also recently move backed home and my mom goes through the things that I brought with and feels entitled to keep them. I'm look for a better job so I can move out again. My mom doesn't want me to move out or find a better job, so she tries to sabotage my efforts. I'm 24 and I live in a house with 5+ adults and a baby and it's crowded! How do I deal with the circumstances for now?

I just finished raising my baby brother after my mom had a stroke. I dont want kids of my own bc I have been there and done that. I want to have fun now. . . evryonr is calling me selfish Im like are you gonna raise it and feed it and help it with its homework bc I m done with all of that!!!

My dad cheated on my mom 15 years ago with another woman. They worked it out but he denies that he ever cheated on her. Does that make him a coward?. I also feel like the woman he had am affair with would have been a better match for him.

In the 6 months that we've been seeing each other he has never once invited me inside his apartment. I've seen the outside of the building but he won't let me in. I have caught him dating other women even when he told me that he wasn't seeing them anymore. I cook for him and pay for his dry cleaning. He still disrespects me by not answering or returning my calls for days or hours at a time. We have fought in public. The other women have shown up on my block looking for him. He has blocked me from facebook and she Called my phone telling me they were with him and he still calls me and text me almost everyday. Now he will not come by my place anymore because his tires got slashed while he was there. He still answers and returns my calls. We still talk like friends but he said he doesn't trust me. We spoke yesterday after not speaking for a few weeks. He told me that he missed me and I said I missed him too but he hasn't asked to see me. Why would he tell me he misses me if he doesn't want to see me? Should I ask to see him again?

Was it a different age for different family members?

Please help me sweet mother of god! Okay so this is how it happened. Today I woke up and had my breakfast while watching my favourite tv channel ceebibies and OH MY GOODNESS!! My father came in and asked me to change to channel I said no bich and he got the tv and stuck it up my BUM!! please help

It really pisses me off. So, yesteday, I was really ill and all, you know, puking all night, not being able to go to sleep. And then they blame it all on me, saying that I don't care about myself and they started screaming at me (espeacially my dad). Like, okay, I don't wear my jumper to school, but you could say it nicely. Now it just makes me not want to wear the jumper even more. And then this morning I was REALLY ill, coundn't go without a second of puking and they sent me death glares and all because I couldn't go to sleep. And, I had to help my mum around the house when I can barely stand properly. It's all really frustrating me, and as well as that, they sometimes slap me. It's onky when they get well pissed, but they smack me anyways. And they also say that I'm a slut when I'm only 13... So is it their love or a drunken mistake, I'm confused...

How can I get passed this? I look at my cousins' families and they are all whole and my family is broken. My mother is still so mad at my Dad she gets in the way of any time my siblings and I try to spend with him though it is easier now that we're adults (she used to alienate us from them as kids). I feel people think I must be partly to blame because my mother brags she left my Dad to protect us kids from his drinking (maybe some truth to that but that makes it my siblings and I's fault). I should add my age, I am in my 30's so long out of my mother's house and an adult. My parents divorced long ago (1990) when I was 6 years old.
